3D Printing is based on the addition of materials layer-by-layer
allowing to produce complex forms with mesh structures
(scaffolds).

Cranyosinostosis is a condition in which one or more craneal sutures close
prematurely, impeding the normal development of the brain and changing the normal
bone grow pattern. As a result patient that suffer from this condition have large bone
defects.

The Tissue Engineering and 3D Printing Platform purpose is to promote the development of research and solutions based on tissue engineering and bioprinting Offers services of Design, Computer Imaging, Virtual Planning, and 3D Printing Main areas of activity: •  Tissue and Organ Bioprinting. •  Lab-on-a-chip (LOC) and Organ-on-a-chip devices (OOC). •  Tissue engineering-based organ and tissue modeling. •  Development of Medical Devices (Biomodels, Surgical guides, Prothesis and Implants) by 3D printing. •  Virtual computer imaging-aided technical assistance for surgery planning.   • 6. 3D Printing Traditional manufacturing is based on subtraction techniques 3D Printing is based on the addition of materials layer-by-layer allowing to produce complex forms with mesh structures (scaffolds).
