- MIMO technology uses multiple antennas at the transmitter and receiver to improve wireless communication performance by increasing data throughput and link range without additional bandwidth or transmit power. - WinProp allows modeling of MIMO antenna systems, including selection of the MIMO scheme (e.g. 2x2, 4x4), specification of beamforming and interference between streams, and definition of antennas belonging to each MIMO stream. - Computation of MIMO results in WinProp involves determining the received power and SNIR for each stream, accounting for interference between streams depending on the selected modeling approach.
