It is a framework for which teachers can understand how children learn computer skills and the schemas they develop.
On this PowerPoint I had to take out the pictures to post on the web. Therefore, it is a bit uniform looking, but the points are still there.

Major change within organisations has become the norm in the 21st century.
Much research both practitioner and academic has taken place to better
understand the challenges that this represents. This is not a new phenomenon,
there is material dating back centuries looking at or reflecting upon changing
the order of the day.
Coming forward in time, to just 50 years ago, the
observations written about are not so different from what is written today in
2013. The adoption of certain terms has occurred to help communicate and
offer consultancy services and promote better understanding. Examples are
“Change Management” and “Resistance to Change” however, the very nature of
adopting non-standardised terms has resulted in a range of different
interpretations, these terms we think we understand, but they clearly have
different meanings for different people as was identified in this research
project. What is common, if you ask someone their opinion regarding
“Resistance to Change”, is they have one, just may not be what you are
expecting.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

3. Digital Citizenship Digital Citizenship is a concept which helps people understand what students and technology users should know to use technology appropriately. Digital Citizenship is a way to prepare students for a society full of technology. It give us the tools to know when we are seeing students as well as adults misusing and abusing technology but not sure what to do. Teachers will show the students what is considered appropriate technology usage.
4. Creativity and Innovation In the classroom teachers will create lessons for the students to make them create original work and processes using their existing knowledge. They can also have the students work reviewed by peers and community by posting it into blogs or community events. This will help improving their skills and promote their creativity.
5. Technology Operations and Concepts Teachers should model or demonstrate technology concepts several times before they lead their students into a particular project. Also should be able to recognize that understanding is taking place by careful monitoring of students and their work. Might need additional teachers for this.

Communication and Collaboration Students will use technological tools , such as cameras, laptops, cell phones, blogs, etc. To do research in a certain field and share their results with the rest of the class and teacher. They can also share the information with students from other countries so they can share their culture and learn aspects from others cultures.
7. Research and InformationFluency In this case teachers will encourage their the students to engage in research using technology and digital resources . While conducting their research and compiling their work students use Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making skills to determine what information is reliable, as well as determine if it is appropriate to use for their research needs.
