I conducted my interview on a man named Jack Bauwer who was an Afghanistan war veteran
which took place between 2001 and 2014 though he was there from 2001 to 2006. The major
purpose of the war was to counter terrorism in response to 9/11 attacks and it was known as
Operation Enduring Freedom. The combat mission conducted in Afghanistan was to eliminate and
weaken the Al Qaeda militia and their Talibansupporters. I met Mr. Bauwer through a friend while

When discussing sex, the philosophical concept of hylomorphism is helpful. Philosophers have
created three philosophical theories in attempt to solve the mind body problem. The mind body
problem looks to explain both mental and physical properties and how they work together or if
the two even work together. Mental properties are things that only you can feel directly. In other
words, mental properties are private like experience, emotion and beliefs. Physical properties
include: size, weight, shape and color. This means physical properties are observable to the
public. One theory the mind body problem has created is materialism. Materialist believe we are
one entity made of physical matter, our body. The second theory the mind body problem has
brought about is dualism. Dualists believe as human beings we are two entities, the body and the
soul/mind. This theory also believes that the real me is the soul/mind. Hylomorphists have a
problem with dualists because they see human beings as one entity with two dimensions, material

In the convention, all gr 10, 11, and 12 students of Mrs.Nightingale s class participated and had
booths talking about different topics. Grade 10 students do games based on health, grade 11

While doing our research, which for myself started on November 13th, I learned many new things
about our healthcare system. It is common knowledge in Canada that our healthcare system also
known as medicare is social. The Canadian Healthcare System is a group of socialized healthcare
insurance plans that provides coverage of all Canadians, regardless of who they are or what their
socioeconomic status is. Healthcare in Canada is paid through taxes (publicly funded) and
