The purpose of this lab is to study some of the physical properties of two types of solids ionic and
molecular. The samples used are sodium chloride (ionic) and camphor (molecular). The physical
properties studied are odour, hardness, melting point, solubility in water and solubility in 2 propanol.
It is observed that some of the physical properties of sodium chloride are no odours, hard, a high
melting point, soluble in water and insoluble in 2 propanol; some of the physical properties of
camphor are a strong odour, soft, a low melting point, insoluble in water and soluble in 2 propanol. A

Throughout human history, civilization was built and developed upon a sense of mystery. In the
ancient time, people believed the existence of eternal God, who lived beyond people s vision in the
vastness of dark sky, and developed their own routine upon that. Observed this mysterious sky for
centuries, Greek astronomer Ptolemy finally developed a geocentric model in the Second Century A.D
in his book Almagest. In his work, Ptolemy made all of his assumptions were purely based on
observations. In 1543, a Polish astronomer Nicholaus Copernicus polished a heliocentric model,
which again was derived on visual evidences. These revolutionary discoveries took years to complete.

Holocaust Reflection Paper
My presentation was based off the theme of the relationship between family during the Holocaust. My
group really wanted the audience to feel moved during the performance so we intentionally made it
dramatic. In the first scene, there was a mirror with the Shema written on the background. Here the
audience members were to look at themselves as they were and notice everything about themselves. In
the second scene, there was a cattle car. Here we had a scene from the novel Night by Elie Wiesel. The
scene was between a father and a son who fought to the death over a crumb of bread. This scene
shows that even though in the beginning they may have been close by the end it was every man for
themselves. In the third scene, there was a laboratory and a video playing. The video talked about two
twins who were experimented on by a doctor mentioned in the novel. This video was very important
because it gives the audience an insight into how the prisoners felt and how they were forced into
many dangerous things without their consent. Lastly, the fourth scene, there was another mirror but
this time the mirror had words on it. The idea behind the words was to make the audience feel as if
those words represented them. Seeing the words on your own body makes you feel like the words you

Peaceful resistance to laws positively impacts a free society as long as the person is willing to take on
the punishment. If you are resisting an unjust law, then in order for it to be effective no one must be
harmed and the resistance must be organized and controlled. Peaceful resistance to laws has been
more efficient in general in the history of the United States. If you look at the examples of Martin

This particular example is very important to United States history and it is a perfect example on how
to peacefully resist a law. Alice Paul was an American suffragist and women s rights activist, and she
was one of the main leaders and strategists of the campaign for the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S.

There has been evidence that links antidepressants to the causes of violent outbursts in individuals.
This led to my decision in doing my ORT on whether antidepressants have more of a negative effect
on the human body rather than the positive effects they are expected to have. This investigation will be

Save Ended Up After Your Life
Have you ever had something happen in your life where you saw signs of it coming, but did anything
you could to help fix things? Then in the end it ended up what you were trying to fix was not
something that could be done on your behalf? No matter how hard you tried, you could not seem to
hold that which you were working so hard to hold on to, what you were trying to save ended up
dissolving quickly right before your eyes. After what you had fought for with every ounce of strength
you had, every hope you had, and every fiber of your being desiring to not give up seems to have just
