system and spoke of the future of telecommunications (Haas, Harald). His lecture sparked a wave
of research on bidirectional Li Fi that has given renewed hope for the internet of things (IoT).
Kevin Ashton, an MIT graduate, first introduced the IoT when he gave a presentation on the
goal in 1999 (Davenport, Thomas). Herald Haas, who is now owns a Li Fi company called
pureLiFi, asserts that every luminaire in a trafficked area will serve as an access point (AP) for
user devices (UD)(Haas, Harald). Since 2011, we have done a research on how to best

If I turn my head to the left, I can look out and see Mt Baker through the masts of the sailboats

flagpoles and the compass I placed on my desk letting me know which way is up. I am
constantly confused as to which direction I am facing, confusion which increases with my age. I
always took pride in my memory, being able to remember names and faces of classmates from 36
