research. One could argue that research is largely based on facts and figures. But I believe there is
far more to research than just the numbers. I believe that research done from different (individuals)
perspectives can lead to multiple equally viable answers. In my personal research I intend to use a
Qualitative method of analysis a method that forms with the help of opinions and more importantly,

reflexivity and subjectivity in qualitative research from a postmodernist approach.

many modes of sound used to guide the narrative. Through a series of flashbacks and flash
forwards, orchestrated by diegetic and non diegetic sounds, the film follows Eva Khatchadourian
(Tilda Swinton), mother of baby Kevin (Ricky Duer) and, later, teenage Kevin (Ezra Miller), as
she recalls the influential events leading up to and the aftermath of Kevin murdering his peers and
family with his bow and arrow. While this gruesome film actually displays little violence on the

The mountains are so high that transportation in the region is very difficult. The air can be so
thin that some of the farmers in the Hindu Kush region have to slice their donkey s nostrils open
so that they can breathe easier due to the thin air (Stones into Schools p.27). The extreme terrain
is a major obstacle for creating schools in the region, which is why the government didn t build
any there. Some winters in that area can last from September to June, making all transportation
even more difficult. Pakistan is experiencing a similar problem. Many regions in Pakistan are
geographically isolated by various geographic features and poor roads. Thus, remote areas are
more difficult to access and build schools in. A third theme that comes up is crime and violence.

heat, and air bubbles in the fluids of the baby s body. When women receive ultrasounds for medical
use, they are performed by trained technologists, supervised by doctors, and the principle of
ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) is applied during the exams. After the development of
ultrasounds, people started to use them for entertainment purposes and to have a souvenir picture of
the baby.2 These unnecessary exams were administered by untrained, unlicensed technicians, and
