Illustration And Example Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of "Illustration and Example Essay" can pose a unique set of
challenges. This type of essay requires not only a solid understanding of the subject matter but
also the ability to effectively illustrate and support your points with relevant examples. Here are
some difficulties you might encounter:
1. Choosing Appropriate Examples:Selecting the right examples that vividly support and
clarify your arguments is crucial. Finding instances that resonate with your audience and
enhance the overall understanding of your topic can be challenging.
2. Balancing Illustrations and Explanations:Striking the right balance between providing
clear illustrations and thorough explanations is essential. Too many examples without
proper analysis can make your essay superficial, while too much explanation without
concrete examples may leave your arguments weak.
3. Ensuring Relevance: Ensuring that each example is directly relevant to the point you're
trying to make can be a meticulous task. The risk of deviating from the main topic is
always present, and maintaining focus throughout the essay is crucial.
4. Structuring the Essay Effectively:Organizing the essay in a coherent manner is key.
Deciding on a logical sequence for presenting examples and ensuring a smooth flow
between them requires careful planning.
5. Avoiding Generalizations:While using examples to illustrate your points, it's important
to avoid making sweeping generalizations. Each example should be specific and
representative, contributing to the overall depth of your argument.
Despite these challenges, mastering the art of writing an illustration and example essay can be a
rewarding experience. It allows you to hone your analytical skills, develop a keen sense of
relevance, and enhance your ability to convey complex ideas through concrete instances.

Neisseria Meningoccal Disease Paper
An acute disease which is referred to any potentially disease that is caused by the
type of bacteria called Neisseria meningitidis is named as meningococcal disease.
This is a life threatening infection which may end in death. (Nadel et al.,2006,
MacNiel et al., 2011) The first meningococcal disease was reported before 5
centuries. Meningococcal diseases are often severe and serious that present in
meningitis 50% of cases and 40% septicemia (Gabuttiet et al., 2015). Some infected
people may have one or both of these diseases. Both of them are occurring and
spreading rapidly. Neisseria meningitidis is hosted in humans because they are the
only reservoir. Rare forms of the disease including lung infection, joint infection and

Meningococcal disease is contagious and it is spread by person to person contact
via droples aerosol or secretions from the nasopharynx of colonized persons.
Meningococcal bacteria are very dangerous, they lives in the mucous membrane of
the nose and throat of humans. These bacteria are spread by long contact or by
exchanging the respiratory and other fluids from the nose or mouth of someone
who has the disease. (Gabutti et al., 2015, Tzeng el al., 2000) When someone is
staying with an infected person and he or she doesn t cover the mouth while
sneezing the other person will carry these bacteria. It is important to say that these
bacteria are not spread by casual contact or by simply breathing the air where a
person who is infected has been. People should not be scary because they will not
take the bacteria by sharing drinks, food or cigarettes because are other factors
which causes these diseases.(Gonzaler et al., 2004) Close contact includes: kissing,
sneezing or coughing on someone, sexual contacts, living in crowed space, such as
dormitories. It can happen, that several days before someone with meningococcal
disease feels sick, spreads bacteria to other. This can happen until the first 24 hours of

What are your current responsibilities, achievements in your most recent role? My

Gilded Age Robber Barons Analysis
Robber Barons of The Gilded Age The Gilded Age was the period of
transformation in the economy, technology, government, and social customs of
America. Robber Barons were businessmen who used unfair tactics to help the
union. The people who had jobs were struggling to the fact that they have low pay
and working condition is bad. So many people were struggling because of these
low cut pays. Also, little kids had to work but did not get paid, these kids should
not have been working since they let them work they at least should have paid them
for their hard work and dedication. Robber Barons used unfair tactics by giving poor
working condition, low paychecks, and child labor. According to a U.S. History.org
article, the author reveals that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This shows that kids were forced to work and had no education. Some kids may
have faced working problems as much as adults do. If the kids do not have an
education they would have to face working at a place for their lifetime. As a result,
this shows one of the robber baron problems that people faced back then and kids
should not be working because they should be able to have an education. During the
Gilded Age, wages were very low even though people were getting injured or sick
from their job. According to the American History textbook, Lapsansky Werner
discusses, When Carnegie amasses a fortune, steelworkers in his plant labored to
10 12 hours a day, six days a week, for about 15 cents an hour. (P.69) This shows
how low these workers get paid they are being overworked by these businessmen,
people should not be working for half the day and be off one day. Also, kids were
not getting money for working. The kids were working for about half the day
instead of getting an education since they are not getting paid, they are out there in
the real world working their butts off. This shows robber baron problems, these
people are working so hard and they are either getting paid low or no not at all. As
a result, since people are working so hard people should be getting paid the right
amount or more depending on their jobs and if the kids don t get money they should
just let them get an education instead of being in a factory for half the day, these kids
Applying Certificate Iv Of Training And Assessment
Applying Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to work in assisting youth
towards market demand in Timor Leste
Introduction
Timor Leste received independence on 30 August 1999 after a majority of the
population voted for pulling out of Indonesian occupation of the country. Life was
not easy after getting the light of independence as many sectors were destroyed to the
ground by the militias. An enormous responsibility rested on people to exert efforts to
reorganize everything from the ground up. The education system was highlighted as
a core sector to be improved both in quality and service within the country. Education
and training are some of the main tools being used to wipe away the tears of victims,
who suffered much during the conflict. Technical vocational educationand training
(TVET) is believed to be a key area which will assist in restoring many devastated
sectors which totally paralyzed the country. In early 2010, the TVET system was
formally established in a national strategic plan with a particular function in assuring,
formulating and establishing the national qualification framework (NQF) (PATVET,
2011). It has been tremendously effective through its system of competence based
training and competence based assessment in working towards market needs. This
TVET system has evolved smoothly in Timor Leste as it is culturally appropriate to
local beliefs and is flexible in its approach. The role of the TVET System in
producing competent and qualified
Morris Water Maze Essay
Intro:
Stress is a change that disrupts or tries to threatens to disrupt bodies homeostasis to
an unusual degree. Anything that can induce a significant disturbance in homeostasis
is the stressor that can be either chronic or acute depending on it s duration. This in
term can cause the body to response in certain ways to adapt to the stress but at
certain time when the stress prolongs an individual can enter a stage of exhaustion
where upon the body can no longer adapt to the stress thus can cause deleterious
effects on learning and memory. Certain spatial learning memory tasks such as
water maze performance may be impaired due to the exposure of stress. Morris water
maze is a procedure

They were then tested on the morris water maze and found the distance taken to
travel and find the platform decreased from first trials to second trials indicating
better short term spatial learning while the measurement in long term spatial learning
the socially stressed rats were swimming longer distances to get to the platform
between first and second sessions. Which suggests that long term spatial memory in
the morris water maze was impaired. This experiments indicate that exposure to
social insabilty stress only impaired long term spatial memory and not short term
spatial memory in the morris water maze. This current study after rats were exposed
to the stress were placed back into their housing with another rat that was also
exposed to the stress procedure but exposure the rat may be some sort of coping
mechanism for the rats and that might be as to why the stress didn t effect short
term spatial memory in the morris water maze. As well this study is focusing on
social stress by isolating the rats but by exposing them to another rat in the same
housing they were before exposure to the stress may make the rats bond as they both
were exposed to the stress which could mitigate the prior stress exposure. In addition
short term memory might not have been effected due to stresses ability to effect
distinct memory systems
Mistreated In The Nose And Black Boy
The story The Nose and Black boy have things in common on how they got
mistreated by other people who had thought they were better than them. The two
stories have the same tone because they have people getting mistreated for their
race and for their money. These books talk about how they both lost the power to
do anything because of what has happened to them or for who they are and from
where they came from. In Black Boy the main character Richard, is mistreated for
the color of his skin. He had been mistreated all his life growing up. At the age of
four he had burned down his grandma s house. His mother beat him near to death
for something he did not know he was doing as a CHILD! His family had moved

The Day Of A Cold And Wet Spring
At the time of responding to this question it is perfectly timed, as finally we have
some lovely weather after the extended winter caused by a cold and wet spring. So
sunshine, blue skies and starry nights along with higher temperatures are finally
with us in the south west. Some Brits will have already made plans to seek warmer
weather and the almost guaranteed sun with warm breezes that come with
booking a holiday in hot spots. Over the years I have had some pretty fabulous
holidays overseas and in the UK and have a few photo s and fond memories to
draw upon. These days with a combination of a husband with a dislike of flying and
dogs who we don t wish to put into kennels, our holidays tend to revolve around our
homeland and what treasures we have found too. From child friendly and latterly
teen friendly holidays, to romantic getaways and action packed outings we have

The Men Behind the Scences of the Civil Rights Era Essay...
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for millions of Americans is an iconic portrayal when
discussing civil rights and American democracy. His determination to change
segregation through creative and savvy ways to reach the public led to his stardom.
However, there were many others who helped during the civil rights era who do not
get nearly as much praise as MLK Jr. Medgar Evers, James Meredith, A Philip
Randolph, Jesse Jackson are a few gentlemen that rarely received the magnitude of
media focus, popularity or scrutiny that the most charismatic civil rights leaders
attracted. Instead they played different positions either, making telephone calls,

Both parents preached to their children about the importance of self reliance, pride,

Americans were expected to assume (Evers Williams, Marable, 30). As a Child
Medgar was told how, his great grandfather had killed two white men in a dispute

emphasize on never being apologetic or ashamed of being black. No matter the
circumstance they should never deny their African Americanheritage and culture.
These lessons played a pivotal role on young Medgar and influenced the foundation
for what he would soon emerge into as a young adult. Medgar had a great bond with
his older brother Charles. They both were educated in segregated public schools in

Medgar s early childhood was typical for any African American child in his
community (Evers Williams, Marable, 30). When Medgar was 14 years old, a

Why Do Ants And Bees Have Similarities In Social Behavior
Ants and bees have similarities in social behavior. First, social structure is the
same in ants and bees. Both bees and ants live in colonies that have at least one
queen, few males and many specialized workers that are all female. The bees queen
populates the colony like the queen of ants lays thousands of eggs. the female
workers in both species are building and taking care of the nest. Also, the main
function of the males in ants and bees is to fertilize the queen s eggs. Second, both
ants and bees share some communication s methods one method is pheromones which
is chemical substance produced by the species. Ants use their antennas with
Pheromones to smell. Moreover, each colony carries their own unique set of
pheromones, making it possible

Kyle Baker Short Biography
Who is Kyle Baker? I am from a little town called Scottsburg. I have lived there all
my life. I was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 8th, 1996. I have an older
brother who graduated from Rose Hulman with a degree in mechanical engineering.
My dad is an electrician and my mom works for the Government. We live out in the
country where there are mainly farms and fields. When I was little I loved to play
baseballand other sports. Although, my favorite sport of them all was baseball. My
dad was a really good baseball player when he was young and he taught me
everything I know. We would spend hours outside in the yard playing catch. Dad
was my first baseball coach when I was little in Bitty Ball. Each year we would
practice really hard so I could become a pitcher. I kept working hard at it and when
I was a freshman in high school, I tried out for the baseball team and made varsity. I
was one of the toughest pitchers on the team and by my senior year I was almost
throwing no hitters each game. My favorite year playing baseball was my junior year.

Gender Stereotypes
In recent years, third wave feminism has driven the growing recognition of negative
gender stereotypes in media. Consequently, there has been an increase in television
programming and advertisements that purposely challenge gender norms. In 2015,
the Cannes Lions festival introduced a new award for advertising of this kind,
leading to an increase in its production and recognition (Exon Arrow, 2015). Several
multimillion dollar corporations such as Always, Burger King, Pantene, Nike, and
Dove have released advertisements specifically designed to empower women.
Disney started releasing movies for children that feature strong female leads with
goals unrelated to relationships. Even Netflix has seized the trend, releasing a
number of shows that challenge many different kinds of stereotypes. Men and
women have both been shown to respond positively to depictions of powerful
women (Abrams, 2012). After viewing content featuring a strong female lead, both
groups have more positive attitudes about women. 58% of women also reported that
positive female role models in media have inspired them to be more ambitious or
assertive. There has been less progress in challenging masculine stereotypes, although
it may not be far behind.
In addition to fictional characters, many real life media participants are also
challenging gender stereotypes. Female politicians such as Hilary Clinton and women
in other positions of authority such as Judge Judy break the stereotypes about what
constitutes

this people can have a successful life. This willpower growth spread to others parts

researcher at Dartmouth In all these experiments they found that everyone gained
better habits like; smoking fewer cigarettes, drank alcohol and caffeine, ate less junk
food, watched less TV, were less depressed and the students spent more hours on
homework. People get better at regulating their impulses said Todd Heatherton a

Oral History In Canada
The use of audio records for this project is significantly important as audio records
allows people to heard the voices of those who are not heard, in this specific case,
it is the voices of immigrants that are heard. Often, there is a general belief that
people come to Canada for a better life, which is true. However, people also assume
that immigrants instantly have a better life in an economic and social way, which is
not true. This is why oral history is important in this situation. Oral history will allow
immigrants to share their personal experience with immigration and new life in
Canada. This will allow the providing of a new perspective on immigration and even
contradict the general beliefs on immigrations thanks to the use of oral history....

Theatrical Syndicate History
History of Theatrical Syndicate The origin of the theatrical syndicate had come to
be in early 1896, when six men had gathered together for a lunch and had all came
out with an idea to how they would be able to control the booking of the top
theatrical attractions of the U.S. The six men had called this act in which they where
trying to make come to life as the Theatrical Syndicate. Within just a couple of weeks
of this lunch meeting that the 6 men had they ended up using all of their theatres in
which they had either represented or owned, and put each one of their theatres into a

Forms of theatre at the the time had became very direct regarding box office

to draw the audience in, and also have more plays which had suited the likes of the
audience and what they would wanted to feel and see during plays. There where also
other people who had praised the theatrical syndicate in the beliefs that the theatrical
syndicate had actually saved theatre by maintain and standardizing the bookings. Also
Daniel Frohman, which is a brother of one of the men which are in the Theatrical

other words the only way for our economy going back to being stable financial whys

simpler to change someone s thought and language. In the quote the term corrupts
means to alter for the worse . People are easily altered and don t think you re not
susceptible to language changing the way you think. Furthermore the quote
relates to the book in some ways. The first way this quote relates to the book is
when Syme is talking to Winston about Newspeak in this particular instance, It s a
beautiful thing, the Destruction of words. Of course the great wastage is in the
verbs and adjectives, but there are hundreds of nouns that can be got rid of as well.
It isn t only the synonyms; there are also the antonyms. After all, what justification
is there for a word, which is simply the opposite of some other word? A word
contains its opposite in itself. Take good, for instance. If you have a word like good,
what need is there for a word like bad ? Ungood (Orwell ch.5 book 1) in this quote
they are talking about a new type of language that is being made called Newspeak.
The reason this is connected to
KYCOM Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I was raised to overcome simple cold without taking any
medicine. The only medicine that was provided to me was orange juice. It seemed
very peculiar then. My parents would tell me, Let your body do its own job. After
many years of studying biology, anatomy, and toxicology, I am continually
fascinated by what our bodies are capable of. I realized our bodies are stronger and
smarter than we know; this has led me to apply for osteopathic medical education.
The University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM)

Commercial Antacids Lab Report
Effects of commercial antacids on excess amounts of hydrochloric acid in the stomach

Introduction: If there is a high amount of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, and an
antacid is consumed, the antacid will absorb excess acid in the stomach. This
reduction of hydrochloric acid is absorbed by antacids that neutralize stomach acid
(Vodopich). The purpose of this experiment is to determine how commercial antacids
perform in absorbing acids. The hypothesis is that the antacid in Tums will reduce the
amount of hydrochloric acid inside the stomach.
Methods: For this experiment, the independent variable is the commercial antacid

understand that the increase of green gases causes short wavelength energy that has
been pull from the sun and it is attract by our amazing earth. The greenhouse also
brings warmth to trees and plants for growth and that how energy is absorbed.
Energy that has a long wavelength are not able to breakout effortlessly.

Does this mean tap water is not as clean as bottled water? Why is it so expensive and

The Use Of Creating Polylactic Acid Using Starch From
Corn...
Biopolymers are polymers (large molecules, consisting of many repeated subunits)
produced by living organisms also known as organic polymers. An example of this
is starch, which by chance is one of the most commonly used raw materials in
creating Polylactic acid. DNA and RNA are both examples of Biopolymers that have
been constructed from nucleotides.
Polylactic Acid
Polylactic acid is a biodegradable thermoplastic deprived from renewable sources
such as cornstarch and sugarcane There are several routes in order to create
Polylactic Acid (PLA) however, the most commonly used one and one I will be
discussing today being the polymerization of lactic acid. Another method is the use
of the cyclic lactic acid dimer called lactide as an intermediate stage. I am going to
explain the method of creating Polylactic Acid using starch from corn. Polylactic acid
has the chemical formula (C3H4O2) n
Chemical process involved in the production of Polylactic acid
Polylactic Acid is easily made and is usually done in two steps. The first step in
creating PLA bacteria ferment the corn in order to create lactic acid. Step two is the
lactic acid leads to the creation of PLA by chemical reactions. (I have attached the
physical production method on a separate piece of paper)
First step: For corn starch or other organic materials used in biopolymers to become
lactic acid and therefore turn into PLA the Corn starch has to converted to dextrose.
The corn is wet milled and separates into starch,
Act Reflection
One struggle I had with the ACT was managing my time. I wanted to get all I could
out of every problem to answer it as best I could. That was hard to do with a fixed
amount of time. The mathematics portion of the ACT was also a challenge for me.
There were a lot of formulas that I had to memorize and know when and how to use
them. Before I took the ACT I did take an ACT prep class that was run by my high
school, which gave me tips and tricks on how to do better with each section. The extra
preparation did help a little but I still struggled with time management and math.
Academically my strengths are science, history, psychology, and sociology. I always
find the study of human behavior interesting, rather it be individual or society as a
The Importance Of Self Esteem And Social Identity
There are a series of important steps in the development of one s self concept, self
esteem and social identity. These steps begin from birth and continue into the
adult years. Physical awareness starts from birth up until one year of age.
Everyone is born with an internal sense of awareness, but it is only physical. For
example, Infants who look in a mirror would not be able to tell that the image they
see is themselves, instead they only recognize that the hand reaching out towards
the mirror is theirs. Around 18 months children are aware that they are separate
from others in the world. (Self recognition). If a red spot is placed on an infant s
nose, infants are able to recognize when looking in the mirror that the dot is on their
nose and would touch the dot on themselves, not the mirror. Around ages two to
three, infants can now refer to themselves using words such as I , or Me . Self esteem
also begins to develop around this age. Children begin to internalize standards and
feelings of good and bad behavior. For example, they will respond more to Good boy,
or good girl , and react more in hopes of receiving that kind of praise. By age four
when children s self concepts start to emerge, they are often aware and proud to
show off their skills and accomplishments. A child who mastered the art of
referencing a fire truck as red , will start to show off their toy truck and say red to
whomever they meet, or whoever is around. If the child draws a picture,
Lowell Geography
Lowell is known as the major city of textile mills and factories during the American
Industrial Revolution. Many revolutionary movements that started in this city had
contributed to the growth of global economy for nearly 200 years. Nowadays, many
of the Lowell s historic manufacturing locations were preserved by the Lowell

In the early industrialization, the presence of Pawtucket Falls offered a source of
water power that enabled the construction of a sawmill and gristmill in the early 18th
Century. Then, Francis Cabot Lowell, who was an American businessman and textile
merchant, visited Britain and investigated the textile machinery in 1810. He made up
the Boston Manufacturing Company and established a cotton mill in Waltham,
Massachusetts in 1813. And then Patrick Jackson with others founded the
Merrimack Manufacturing Company close to Pawtucket Falls. This was
groundbreaking in 1822 because it completed the first run of cotton in 1823. Within
two years, more mills and machinery opened, so they needed to dig a series of new
canals to expand, in order to build more manufacturing plants. In 1850, Lowell

Spanglish Language Essay
Before starting, what is the language? A language is a system of conventional spoken,
manual, or written symbols by means of which human beings, as members of a social
group and participant in its culture, express themselves. The functions of language
include communication, the expression of identity, play, imaginative expression and
emotional release. We can distinguish between a native language, which is a
biological necessity that helps to man take part in a community and built an identity;
and a secondary language, which is the language from a country where you do not
live there. The contact between two or more languages can cause languages or
dialects with influences of each other as well. English is a language without politic,...

The story line of the movie Captain Fantastic is about Ben Cash a father trying to
raise six children in what he considers paradise in the wilds of the Pacific
Northwest as best as he possibly can by himself. His methods of educating his
children are questioned by modern society due to tough curriculum that aims to not
just educate his children but to make them more open minded. Academically, the
kids engage in a rigorous regime of reading literary, historical, philosophical and
scientific classes, as well as learning multiple foreign languages and musical
instruments. (Bowen) This movie has me in between on feelings weather I agree or

Analysis Of The Movie Romero
The year is 1977 in El Salvador, a time of deep public and political unrest, where
injustices are high among the people and there exists a great divide between the
rich and the poor, it is during this time that the Vatican elevated Oscar Romero to
the position of Arch Bishop of San Salvador. Romero is elevated in hopes that with
his quite, passive demurer and diminishing health that he would accept the status
quo and not cause a military dispute; however, much to everyone s surprise, Romero
became the voice of the poor and took a stand against the exiguous government and
hostile military, which begin to target priests. Romero was passive at first, afraid of
government s hostility, but over time, he did not give up on his people and was...

STOP! We re human beings, we re human beings! (Romero, 1.26:12). With all of
the effort that he puts in, Romero could not physically do anything being trapped
inside his jail cell. In this situation, Romero hears a desperate cry for help evoking
a reaction inside him to help his fellow man. By not being able to really do
anything, somehow, Romero was being tortured as well: by not being able to do
anything but listen to a man be subjected to such horrid pain. The response that
Romero felt was person and his action automatic causing him to act ethically. The
ethical experience of the beggar explains the experience of the other. The
experience begins with the face of someone in need of help. Something occurs
while face to face with the other, it evokes a person reaction and typically exposes
as desire to help whomever is in need. Face to face encounters with the other are
ethical as they remind each person of their responsibility to the other. See someone
in need, evokes a deep emotional response and makes one responsible; the face
stays with them, it invades their consciousness. Romero feels the experience of the
other when sitting down with the poor discussing all of the missing and murdered
family members. He looks upon each person s face and see a community desperately
in need. It is in this scene that Romero looks upon the faces of his community, faces
filled with grief and agony, it is then that he realizes that he must help these people

Swat Team Research Paper
America was first introduced to the first SWAT teams in the year of 1966. SWAT,
which first stood for Special Weapons Attack Team, and then was later changed to
Special Weapons and Tactics, was founded by Daryl Gates who was a police
commander for the Los Angeles Police Department. SWAT teams are different from
regular law enforcement in the fact that they are far more advanced and handle far
more advanced and dangerous situations. They use more powerful weapons and
more experienced policing tactics. They could be considered the elite members of
law enforcement. SWAT teams do not just deal with the normal criminal. They handle
the extreme criminals who often defy law enforcement. SWAT teams were founded
in an effort the lower the massively high crime rate that was dominating the late
1990s. These specially trained policeofficers are an example of the paramilitary

Most Common Definition Of Success In The Hobbit Bilbo
Success to most people is to achieve something or win but instead of this success is
much more than this it can fit into many different scenarios as different things. But
if there was only one most common definition of success it would be to achieve a
goal or a overcome a problem. Success defined this way can fit into our everyday
lives because we overcome these issues and are successful. Even this can fit into
the world of fantasy or text because they overcome their problems and challenges
that the characters are faced with. Throughout the Hobbit Bilbo overcomes problems
that led him to succeed at what he is doing. All at once there came a blood curdling

Celibacy in the Ministry of the Catholic Church
Introduction
The church has a large influence over the people, from the ancient times up until our
modern age. The church, as we know it, is composed of various members who all
contribute to fulfill a holy calling, and one of its constituents, who work closely with
the public, are the priests. They make up the embodiment of the Catholic Church,
their very existence is what makes the church operate as it is, meaning that they have
an essential role to the Catholic system. With this in mind, priests represent the very
image of the church so issues associated with the priests are also identified in
relation to the church. As of now, there have already been various matters concerning
the conduct of priests instigated by society. One of these said issues are
Celibacy is the act of abstinence from marriage implicitly or explicitly made, for a
more immaculate devotion to chastity, by all those who are a member of the Holy
Order. Priestly celibacy has been observed by the Church for centuries with a high
recognition, and retains its value undiminished even in our time when the outlook of
men and the state of the world have undergone such profound changes. Amid the
modern stirrings of opinion, a predisposition has been expressed, to ask the Church
to reconsider this specific convention. It is said that in the world of our time the
observance of celibacy has come to be difficult or even impossible. Necessity
One of the main reasons why it is necessary is because everyone is
True Love In Titanic
Far out in the chilling temperatures and climate of the Atlantic Ocean, where the
creations of mother nature bring out the best and worst of human nature, a ship of
prodigious size and feet sets the stage for a maxim that defines the actions of humans.
The 1997 film, Titanic, it is shown greatly on how true lovecan affect someone. A
girl named Rose who is depressed meets this spontaneous character named Jack.
Jack and Rose are from very different worlds and of opposite social classes. They
both are voyaging on the Titanicin which is where they meet and where Jack gives
her his all to save her in every way possible. In his film Titanic, James Cameronuses
the elements of a damsel in distress along with the hero throughout the film to
convey that we as humans can conquer fear with true love because love provides us
with comfort and the feel of safety when fear takes that away.
The damsel in distress, showed in the movie Titanic, was deeply depressed and
mentally trapped in her world. This was a world in which she didn t want to be
included in. She was trapped in an abusive soon to be marriage and her mother
spoke to her in the same way a director directs a movie but instead Rose was that

and showed her he truly cared about her. Her fiancГ© and mother had been dragging

Who Is Luhrmann Or Zeffirelli

weathered the test of time, with many different renderings and views of it. In class
we saw two different retellings of this classic story. With many differences and

deliberation I believe that Luhrmann did a better job bring this romance to life. His
version of the story was more understandable, and got through to the watchers.
Luhrmann s retelling of Romeo and Juliet in my opinion stays true the original why

Illustration And Example Essay.pdf

  • 1. Illustration And Example Essay Writing an essay on the topic of "Illustration and Example Essay" can pose a unique set of challenges. This type of essay requires not only a solid understanding of the subject matter but also the ability to effectively illustrate and support your points with relevant examples. Here are some difficulties you might encounter: 1. Choosing Appropriate Examples:Selecting the right examples that vividly support and clarify your arguments is crucial. Finding instances that resonate with your audience and enhance the overall understanding of your topic can be challenging. 2. Balancing Illustrations and Explanations:Striking the right balance between providing clear illustrations and thorough explanations is essential. Too many examples without proper analysis can make your essay superficial, while too much explanation without concrete examples may leave your arguments weak. 3. Ensuring Relevance: Ensuring that each example is directly relevant to the point you're trying to make can be a meticulous task. The risk of deviating from the main topic is always present, and maintaining focus throughout the essay is crucial. 4. Structuring the Essay Effectively:Organizing the essay in a coherent manner is key. Deciding on a logical sequence for presenting examples and ensuring a smooth flow between them requires careful planning. 5. Avoiding Generalizations:While using examples to illustrate your points, it's important to avoid making sweeping generalizations. Each example should be specific and representative, contributing to the overall depth of your argument. Despite these challenges, mastering the art of writing an illustration and example essay can be a rewarding experience. It allows you to hone your analytical skills, develop a keen sense of relevance, and enhance your ability to convey complex ideas through concrete instances. If you find yourself struggling or needing assistance with similar essays or other academic tasks, consider exploring resources like HelpWriting.net, where you can find professional support tailored to your specific needs. My most recent role was working at EPCOR Water Canada (Rossdale water treatment plant) as a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) intern, where I reported to the Senior Manager for Health and Safety. The business unit (BU) was going through a management change (creation of a Director for HSE position, Global Harmonization System (GHS) transition, changes in key elements of the management system, and cultural change to reduce Total Recordable Injury Rates). The health and safety responsibilities like coaching, training, monitoring HSE performance and compliance, data analysis amongst others are roles that are not new to me and I am so excited to perform and play my part in achieving the Dow safety vision if I am privileged to work for Dow. At NAIT I became friends with three former Dow employees. These past employees were all HSE professionals at Dow and are now NAIT instructors. They retired from Dow several years ago; having worked at Dow for over 30 years but their good memories, passion, organizational citizenship, and admiration for Dow remains with them. In each of their lectures, I was excited to hear about Dow stories and silently hoped that some day I will be telling a Dow story. Their good words left me with a great admiration and respect for the Dow establishment and a longing to be part of the Dow
  • 4. Gilded Age Robber Barons Analysis Robber Barons of The Gilded Age The Gilded Age was the period of transformation in the economy, technology, government, and social customs of America. Robber Barons were businessmen who used unfair tactics to help the union. The people who had jobs were struggling to the fact that they have low pay and working condition is bad. So many people were struggling because of these low cut pays. Also, little kids had to work but did not get paid, these kids should not have been working since they let them work they at least should have paid them for their hard work and dedication. Robber Barons used unfair tactics by giving poor working condition, low paychecks, and child labor. According to a U.S. History.org article, the author reveals that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This shows that kids were forced to work and had no education. Some kids may have faced working problems as much as adults do. If the kids do not have an education they would have to face working at a place for their lifetime. As a result, this shows one of the robber baron problems that people faced back then and kids should not be working because they should be able to have an education. During the Gilded Age, wages were very low even though people were getting injured or sick from their job. According to the American History textbook, Lapsansky Werner discusses, When Carnegie amasses a fortune, steelworkers in his plant labored to 10 12 hours a day, six days a week, for about 15 cents an hour. (P.69) This shows how low these workers get paid they are being overworked by these businessmen, people should not be working for half the day and be off one day. Also, kids were not getting money for working. The kids were working for about half the day instead of getting an education since they are not getting paid, they are out there in the real world working their butts off. This shows robber baron problems, these people are working so hard and they are either getting paid low or no not at all. As a result, since people are working so hard people should be getting paid the right amount or more depending on their jobs and if the kids don t get money they should just let them get an education instead of being in a factory for half the day, these kids
  • 5. Applying Certificate Iv Of Training And Assessment Applying Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to work in assisting youth towards market demand in Timor Leste Introduction Timor Leste received independence on 30 August 1999 after a majority of the population voted for pulling out of Indonesian occupation of the country. Life was not easy after getting the light of independence as many sectors were destroyed to the ground by the militias. An enormous responsibility rested on people to exert efforts to reorganize everything from the ground up. The education system was highlighted as a core sector to be improved both in quality and service within the country. Education and training are some of the main tools being used to wipe away the tears of victims, who suffered much during the conflict. Technical vocational educationand training (TVET) is believed to be a key area which will assist in restoring many devastated sectors which totally paralyzed the country. In early 2010, the TVET system was formally established in a national strategic plan with a particular function in assuring, formulating and establishing the national qualification framework (NQF) (PATVET, 2011). It has been tremendously effective through its system of competence based training and competence based assessment in working towards market needs. This TVET system has evolved smoothly in Timor Leste as it is culturally appropriate to local beliefs and is flexible in its approach. The role of the TVET System in producing competent and qualified
  • 6. Morris Water Maze Essay Intro: Stress is a change that disrupts or tries to threatens to disrupt bodies homeostasis to an unusual degree. Anything that can induce a significant disturbance in homeostasis is the stressor that can be either chronic or acute depending on it s duration. This in term can cause the body to response in certain ways to adapt to the stress but at certain time when the stress prolongs an individual can enter a stage of exhaustion where upon the body can no longer adapt to the stress thus can cause deleterious effects on learning and memory. Certain spatial learning memory tasks such as water maze performance may be impaired due to the exposure of stress. Morris water maze is a procedure Acute stress is a form of short term stress that causes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They were then tested on the morris water maze and found the distance taken to travel and find the platform decreased from first trials to second trials indicating better short term spatial learning while the measurement in long term spatial learning the socially stressed rats were swimming longer distances to get to the platform between first and second sessions. Which suggests that long term spatial memory in the morris water maze was impaired. This experiments indicate that exposure to social insabilty stress only impaired long term spatial memory and not short term spatial memory in the morris water maze. This current study after rats were exposed to the stress were placed back into their housing with another rat that was also exposed to the stress procedure but exposure the rat may be some sort of coping mechanism for the rats and that might be as to why the stress didn t effect short term spatial memory in the morris water maze. As well this study is focusing on social stress by isolating the rats but by exposing them to another rat in the same housing they were before exposure to the stress may make the rats bond as they both were exposed to the stress which could mitigate the prior stress exposure. In addition short term memory might not have been effected due to stresses ability to effect distinct memory systems

  • 8. The Day Of A Cold And Wet Spring At the time of responding to this question it is perfectly timed, as finally we have some lovely weather after the extended winter caused by a cold and wet spring. So sunshine, blue skies and starry nights along with higher temperatures are finally with us in the south west. Some Brits will have already made plans to seek warmer weather and the almost guaranteed sun with warm breezes that come with booking a holiday in hot spots. Over the years I have had some pretty fabulous holidays overseas and in the UK and have a few photo s and fond memories to draw upon. These days with a combination of a husband with a dislike of flying and dogs who we don t wish to put into kennels, our holidays tend to revolve around our homeland and what treasures we have found too. From child friendly and latterly teen friendly holidays, to romantic getaways and action packed outings we have covered a huge array of accommodations, activities and explored some fantastic places. I can relate to all of the suggestions that precede the Ciao! Question: where will you be going and which products will you take with you? ~*~ We Love the West: This year, I turned to Airbnb for inspiration and to find suitable accommodation. From my shortlist we chose to stay on a boat in Brixham Marina and we have already had our main holiday which we enjoyed at the end of June anticipating almost guaranteed sunshine and generous temperatures. Whilst the British weather did not live up to our expectations our

His determination to change segregation through creative and savvy ways to reach the public led to his stardom. However, there were many others who helped during the civil rights era who do not get nearly as much praise as MLK Jr. Medgar Evers, James Meredith, A Philip Randolph, Jesse Jackson are a few gentlemen that rarely received the magnitude of media focus, popularity or scrutiny that the most charismatic civil rights leaders attracted. Whites will treat them with dignity. They will be able to register to vote. There was a great emphasize on never being apologetic or ashamed of being black. No matter the circumstance they should never deny their African Americanheritage and culture. These lessons played a pivotal role on young Medgar and influenced the foundation for what he would soon emerge into as a young adult. Medgar had a great bond with his older brother Charles. They both were educated in segregated public schools in Decatur and Newton, Mississippi. Medgar and Charles resented the fact that they had to walk to school while the white children were transported on school buses. • 14. Gender Stereotypes In recent years, third wave feminism has driven the growing recognition of negative gender stereotypes in media. Consequently, there has been an increase in television programming and advertisements that purposely challenge gender norms. In 2015, the Cannes Lions festival introduced a new award for advertising of this kind, leading to an increase in its production and recognition (Exon Arrow, 2015). Several multimillion dollar corporations such as Always, Burger King, Pantene, Nike, and Dove have released advertisements specifically designed to empower women. Disney started releasing movies for children that feature strong female leads with goals unrelated to relationships. Even Netflix has seized the trend, releasing a number of shows that challenge many different kinds of stereotypes. Men and women have both been shown to respond positively to depictions of powerful women (Abrams, 2012). After viewing content featuring a strong female lead, both groups have more positive attitudes about women. 58% of women also reported that positive female role models in media have inspired them to be more ambitious or assertive. There has been less progress in challenging masculine stereotypes, although it may not be far behind. In addition to fictional characters, many real life media participants are also challenging gender stereotypes. Female politicians such as Hilary Clinton and women in other positions of authority such as Judge Judy break the stereotypes about what constitutes

Biopolymers are polymers (large molecules, consisting of many repeated subunits) produced by living organisms also known as organic polymers. DNA and RNA are both examples of Biopolymers that have been constructed from nucleotides. Polylactic Acid Polylactic acid is a biodegradable thermoplastic deprived from renewable sources such as cornstarch and sugarcane There are several routes in order to create Polylactic Acid (PLA) however, the most commonly used one and one I will be discussing today being the polymerization of lactic acid. Another method is the use of the cyclic lactic acid dimer called lactide as an intermediate stage. I am going to explain the method of creating Polylactic Acid using starch from corn. Polylactic acid has the chemical formula (C3H4O2) n Chemical process involved in the production of Polylactic acid Polylactic Acid is easily made and is usually done in two steps. • 29. The Importance Of Self Esteem And Social Identity There are a series of important steps in the development of one s self concept, self esteem and social identity. These steps begin from birth and continue into the adult years. Physical awareness starts from birth up until one year of age. Everyone is born with an internal sense of awareness, but it is only physical. For example, Infants who look in a mirror would not be able to tell that the image they see is themselves, instead they only recognize that the hand reaching out towards the mirror is theirs. Around 18 months children are aware that they are separate from others in the world. (Self recognition). If a red spot is placed on an infant s nose, infants are able to recognize when looking in the mirror that the dot is on their nose and would touch the dot on themselves, not the mirror. Around ages two to three, infants can now refer to themselves using words such as I , or Me . Self esteem also begins to develop around this age. Children begin to internalize standards and feelings of good and bad behavior. For example, they will respond more to Good boy, or good girl , and react more in hopes of receiving that kind of praise. By age four when children s self concepts start to emerge, they are often aware and proud to show off their skills and accomplishments. A child who mastered the art of referencing a fire truck as red , will start to show off their toy truck and say red to whomever they meet, or whoever is around. If the child draws a picture,

They make up the embodiment of the Catholic Church, their very existence is what makes the church operate as it is, meaning that they have an essential role to the Catholic system. With this in mind, priests represent the very image of the church so issues associated with the priests are also identified in relation to the church. As of now, there have already been various matters concerning the conduct of priests instigated by society. One of these said issues are Celibacy is the act of abstinence from marriage implicitly or explicitly made, for a more immaculate devotion to chastity, by all those who are a member of the Holy Order. Priestly celibacy has been observed by the Church for centuries with a high recognition, and retains its value undiminished even in our time when the outlook of men and the state of the world have undergone such profound changes. Amid the modern stirrings of opinion, a predisposition has been expressed, to ask the Church to reconsider this specific convention. True Love In Titanic Far out in the chilling temperatures and climate of the Atlantic Ocean, where the creations of mother nature bring out the best and worst of human nature, a ship of prodigious size and feet sets the stage for a maxim that defines the actions of humans. The 1997 film, Titanic, it is shown greatly on how true lovecan affect someone. A girl named Rose who is depressed meets this spontaneous character named Jack. Jack and Rose are from very different worlds and of opposite social classes. They both are voyaging on the Titanicin which is where they meet and where Jack gives her his all to save her in every way possible. In his film Titanic, James Cameronuses the elements of a damsel in distress along with the hero throughout the film to convey that we as humans can conquer fear with true love because love provides us with comfort and the feel of safety when fear takes that away. The damsel in distress, showed in the movie Titanic, was deeply depressed and mentally trapped in her world. This was a world in which she didn t want to be included in. She was trapped in an abusive soon to be marriage and her mother spoke to her in the same way a director directs a movie but instead Rose was that movie. Rose had lost her sanity. She decided that suicide was the answer. Jack Dawson; the hero, swashbuckler pulled her from the outside of the ship to save her and showed her he truly cared about her. Her fiancГ© and mother had been dragging her through a life she despised of. She

Despite this fact that was noticed also in our study; we do not think it would result in this great decrease for the need of post ureteroscopy stenting. We had no significant difference between the two groups concerning minor intraoperative complications. We noticed mucosal injury in 3 patients (7.1%) in emergency group and 4 patients (4.4%) in delayed group. Hematuria also was observed in 2 patients (4.7%) in emergency group and 3 (3.3%) in delayed group. These results were comparable to those reported by Sarica et al who found no significant difference between the two groups in terms of intraoperative complications [7]. No major complications such as perforation or avulsion were noticed in our study. This was comparable to the results of Matani et al who reported serious complications in 0.7% of patients [6]. Nevertheless; we did not conduct a cost effective comparison. We recommend conducting prospective studies on larger scale to confirm the principle of emergency
  • 40. Who Is Luhrmann Or Zeffirelli Luhrmann or Zeffirelli The story of Romeo and Juliet is a romance that has weathered the test of time, with many different renderings and views of it. In class we saw two different retellings of this classic story. With many differences and similarities both movies shared a new perspective on this tale. After much deliberation I believe that Luhrmann did a better job bring this romance to life. His version of the story was more understandable, and got through to the watchers. Luhrmann s retelling of Romeo and Juliet in my opinion stays true the original why still making this classic play interesting to the youth of today.
