How to Buy Happiness? A Harvard study conducted across 100 countries found that
whether rich or poor, people who give to charity are happier. Perceived happiness
increases, even more, when we see the impact of our gift has on someone.
According to Tony Robbins, writer at Robbins Research Organization, Inc.
Michael Norton, the TED Talk speaker, discussed How to Buy Happiness. Norton is a
professor of business administration at Harvard Business School; he has also studied
psychology. Furthermore, Norton did research on whether spending money on
oneself or on others can make a person happy. According to him, people who spend
money on others are happier than those who spend money on themselves. He wanted
to convince his audience that happiness is in sharing or giving to others. First, he
gained the attention of his public by starting his speech with humor. Similarly, he has
conducted various surveys on how two groups of people, who felt differently, spend
money on others like charity or giving gifts from different countries like Uganda and
Canada. Although Norton s attempts at stablishing credibility were somewhat
ineffective, his arguments were mostly effect because of his use of logos and pathos.
Norton s used ethos in his speech but not very effectively. He had a good
appearance, he was dressed simple but at the same time he looked formal. Besides
this, he gave an enthusiastic and sincere look. His tone of voice throughout his
speech was friendly and reality based and he chose simple vocabulary as well, his
body language was clear and bold while interacting with his audience. He looked
credible because he provided evidence, but he did not really stablish himself as an
expert of happiness; he said that he was in a business school but he does not

and the addition of this theological basis to the piece may well have been prompted
by the prisoner of war conditions in which he found himself, in which time might

considered and portrayed when performing the Quartet for the End of Time. The

interviews from the actual residents and those that helped them I think that very
little in this book is based on speculation. While there are some opinions of how
others are thinking or what they are doing that can be considered speculation it is
usually followed up with an interview portion with the person to get their actual
thoughts and behaviors. I think that Jack does a good job of providing supporting
evidence in this book and through various updates in the editions he has kept the

I would recommend it to other people who need to be encouraged in various ways.
Perhaps it is a burnt out therapist who feels that they are not helping people at all, or
a person who can identify with one of the resident s in the book. Every person in this
book showed resiliency, not just the Modello residents. The people who were helping
the residents at one time or another experienced a setback and they used the training
they had and the people around them to bounce back. When Hurricane Andrew hit,
many of the women that were highlighted in this book used the three principles to
help them get through the storm and be thankful for living through it. They used
what they learned in Modello to become resilient and through that training they
taught others how they can be resilient too. Through this book I even learned that
the resiliency of my childhood and adolescences isn t lost, it s still there when I need

got to try a passion fruit while I was there. I had never even heard of them before. It
was so good, and tasted like a bunch of tropical flavors mixed together. Best of all. It
was grown in that garden. As a group we helped Emilia with a couple projects in
the garden. I helped make a path out of rocks. It ended up looking really good. It
was really beneficial to see a garden put together by college students, as it makes
sustainable practices seem more feasible.
Week #10 (11/3) Flying Fish Farm:
This farm was very interesting to me. The aquaponics were super cool, as that is
always something I have been interested in. A teacher I had in high school
experimented with aquaponics, but it was on a much smaller scale. Her system
was not as successful though, as she struggled with some diseases. The owner of
Flying Fish seemed much more successful. This is super cool to see new processes
working for people. Another unique aspect of his farm was that he did a lot of
seedlings. That way he could sell the plants as a product. He said he sold his plants
to places like Earth Fare, which is very cool. Another unique thing was the popcorn
that he grew. I have never had popcorn right from the cob, and I would like to try it
sometime after hearing the owner talk about it. A new thing that the owner was

is substantial, and this lack of care has resulted in a severe mental health crisis
throughout the community. Suicide, self harm, depression and anxiety are central
effects of this mental health crisis, and impact deeply on the lives of those who suffer
from them.

It was evident throughout the compilation of research that suicide is the most
significant issue facing the Indigenous LGBTQI+ community in terms of
psychological wellbeing. Suicide both directly and indirectly affects members of this
community, whether this be through suicide attempts, suicidal ideations or the
suicide of a loved one. According to a comprehensive 2017 survey completed by
Dameyon Bonson, the 2016 recipient of the Dr. Yunupingu award for Human Rights,
84% of the Indigenous LGBTQI+ community in Australia have been touched by

Unwritten constitutions are flexible as they are not entrenched, and flexibility is
extremely important and useful as the modern day is constantly changing.
The strongest argument in favour of a written constitution is that it would protect the
rights of its citizens and individual liberty would be more securely protected. The
