Micro teaching is a technique developed by Professor D. Allen at Stanford University in 1963 to provide scaled-down teaching experiences for trainees by reducing class sizes to 5-10 students, limiting lessons to 5-10 minutes, and focusing on a minimized topic. The goal is to give trainees highly individualized feedback on their performance of 4-5 specific teaching skills in order to help them become more effective teachers.
