The lecture summarized the design of Forest Glen Park which incorporated universal design principles. It discussed 7 universal design principles and provided examples of how each principle was applied in different elements of the park, including accessible walkways, playgrounds, swings, water features, picnic areas, and overall park design. The project received additional funding from the Kellogg Foundation to support the universal design features.
