4. PHOTOSHOOT IDEAS I like the black and white photos in this montage and the style is something I may use in my own photo shoot. Black and white fit very well with a gothic/metal theme. I chose the other photos as they are all variations of a standard grouping for a photo. In each there are a group of people in a row but in each photo due to the body language each looks different.

7. FONT IDEAS FOR MASTHEAD AND COVER LINES I chose this collection of fonts as they all tie in with the heavy metal theme I am applying to my magazine. Out of these fonts I especially like the “Ghastly Panic” and the “Deutsche Fierschrift”.

9. For this design I tried to make the masthead in the style of an axe. The colour of the text is meant to be a blue/yellow camouflage in an urban graffiti style. I thought this style would be very appealing to a teen crowd.

10. In this sketch I have tried to make the masthead written in blood. The blood drips down and forms the cover line and runs along the other features of the page and ends up running off the bottom of the page. I made the middle of the page fairly blank apart from the photo. This is to put emphasis on the image as most readers will look to the band featured first. I also added a sticker advertising a free CD with the magazine. I done this as free CDs are seen as very appealing to the potential customer as seen in my survey.
