surround the main
image which is in the

• Sub lines-they are important to have because it informs the reader
what features in the magazine and what it is about.
• The denotation of the main image is kasabian which connotes“ star
appeal”(Richard Dyer).This is important because attracts a certain
target audience who read the magazine.
• A busy page to show there is a lot of information in the magazine
and how many music artists the they mention and different gigs
they advertise.

This is used to instantly

• The main image that covers the a4 page because it looks
effective and shows what the story is about.
• A large drop capital to draw the reader straight in to read the
article and find out about the music artist(s).
• A big bold title because it denotes the importance of the
artists that is featured in the article and will draw the reader
in to read the article.
