: For the convenience of administration, ministers 
are given charge of various appointments 
: Resignation of the chief minister means the 
resignation of the council of ministers 
: Chief minister is the connecting link between the
state governor and the ministers 
: The person elected as chief minister should be a 
member of the legislature 
: The Legislative assembly can on various occasions 
intere with the functions of the council of ministers. 
Concept : The powers are vested in chief minister and the other 
ministers

With these questions teacher enters into the topic

Executive Branch of Government 
Presentation 
Activity – 1 
Teacher shows a slide which describes about the Executive
branch of government 
Slide – I 
By showing the 1st slide the teacher introduces the lesson and she explains the content. 
Then teacher discusses the governor of the state and his functions. 
Slide – II 
After presenting the slide the students and teachers examines the above slide. After that teacher asks do you know about the duties of chief minister. 
Slide – III 
Governor is the head of the executive branch of the State Government 
 Governor is the head of the executive branch of the state government 
 Governor is appointed by the president of India. 
 The term of office of the governor is for 5 years. 
 He is assisted in administrative matters by the chief minister and other members of the council of ministers 
 The real powers are vested in the chief minister and the ministers. 
 The governor appoints the leader of the majority party or of the coalition front as the chief minister. 
 The other ministers are appointed by the governor on the advice of the chief minister. 
 The chief minister is the leader of the legislative assembly
Teacher explains about the functions of chief minister deeply. By showing the Vth slide teacher explains the functions of ministries. 
Slide – V 
After showing the last slide teacher explains the importance and functions of executive branch of government in brief. Teacher repeats all points once more. After teacher concluding the topic. 
 For the convenience of administration, ministers are given charge of various departments. 
 The chief minister can also ask for the resignation of the ministers if their functioning is not satisfactory. 
 The chief secretary and other officials assist the ministry in day- to-day administration.

  • 3. branch of government Slide – I By showing the 1st slide the teacher introduces the lesson and she explains the content. Then teacher discusses the governor of the state and his functions. Slide – II After presenting the slide the students and teachers examines the above slide. After that teacher asks do you know about the duties of chief minister. Slide – III Governor is the head of the executive branch of the State Government  Governor is the head of the executive branch of the state government  Governor is appointed by the president of India.  The term of office of the governor is for 5 years.  He is assisted in administrative matters by the chief minister and other members of the council of ministers  The real powers are vested in the chief minister and the ministers.  The governor appoints the leader of the majority party or of the coalition front as the chief minister.  The other ministers are appointed by the governor on the advice of the chief minister.  The chief minister is the leader of the legislative assembly

After teacher concluding the topic.  For the convenience of administration, ministers are given charge of various departments.  The chief minister can also ask for the resignation of the ministers if their functioning is not satisfactory.  The chief secretary and other officials assist the ministry in day- to-day administration.
