Lessonobjectives:
 To develop pupils’ reading and listening skills
 To develop pupils’ memory and visual attention
 To practice pupils’ knowledge on grammar material: verb to be in the past
 To bring up pupils’ interest in learning foreign language.
Procedure
I. Introduction
1. Greating
T: Good morning, children! How are you feeling today?
Rhyme “We’re happy” (Pupils say the rhyme)

2. Warming-up
Activity 1. Work ingroups
Look at our poster and ask your classmatehow he or she is feeling now.
Activity 2 “Speaking stockings”
I’vegota magic box and some stockings in it. You shoud take only one stocking, choose
the classmateand read the task . Your classmatehave to answer the question or do the
task fromthe stocking.
3. Checking pupils’ hometask
Ex. 2, p. 55 WB
II. Mainpart
1. Review of grammar (verbto be inthe past)
