This document presents the design of an automated self-cleaning solar panel system with an inbuilt power supply. Dust and other debris accumulation on solar panels can reduce their efficiency by 5-30%. The designed system detects shading of solar cells using an Arduino controller and activates brush motors to clean the panels. It can clean 3 panel arrays in a row over 5 minutes. The cleaning mechanism is powered by a battery that is recharged by the solar panels when not in use. Future improvements discussed include drone-based cleaning and high voltage or ultrasonic cleaning methods.

Due to the upwards angle of solar panels, they are more prone to bird droppings and a build-up of general dust, sand, moss and dirt that does not wash off with just rain. with this area. Our project will include the design and construction of a microcontroller-based solar
panel tracking system. Solar tracking allows more energy to be produced because the solar array is
able to remain aligned to the sun. This system builds upon topics learned in this course. A working
system will ultimately be demonstrated to validate the design. Problems and possible improvements
will also be presented .Sustainable energy systems are necessary for the economic growth and a

Development of Automated Solar Watering Systemtheijes
The main purpose of this project is to develop a Solar Watering System capable of performing irrigation or watering task automatically and is powered by Photovoltaic (PV) panels. A moisture sensor in the soil is used to check the need for irrigation in order to operate a pump powered by the PV system and lead acid battery. In addition to the input from moisture sensor, Timer function within the PIC18F4550 was also applied to prevent watering to many times per day. This ensures that the crop or plant in the field will not have growth problems due to overwatering. In order to increase energy harvesting from the sun radiation, sun tracker in the form of single axis was designed. Horizontal Single Axis Tracker (HSAT) was build based on the feedback from two Light Dependent Resistors (LDR) and an opaque sheet dividing them so that shadow will be casted on either one of them when the sun moves. The fully developed prototype has shown that the system able to reduce wastage and human intervention at minimum cost as the entire system runs only using solar energy. Therefore it can be said as a standalone unit which requires no additional devices or powers and requires minimal maintenance and attention

The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
