The document discusses using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to create smart learning environments. It describes how IoT can enable smart teaching by allowing teachers to use online tools and media for instruction. IoT can also facilitate smart learning by letting students access educational materials anywhere using electronic devices. Specific applications mentioned include smart classrooms equipped with sensors and devices to track attendance and monitor classes, as well as smart libraries that use RFID and NFC tags to locate books and manage check-in/check-out processes more efficiently. The goal of IoT in education is to enhance the learning process and make it more engaging, accessible, and effective for both students and teachers.
Smart Classrooms are technology enhanced classrooms that foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, such as computers, specialized software, audience response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio/visual capabilities.
IRJET - Design of Student Security System using RFID MechanismIRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed student security system using RFID technology. The system aims to track student attendance using RFID tags attached to student IDs and RFID readers placed at school entrances and exits. When a student enters or leaves through the gates, their RFID tag will be scanned and their attendance details sent to a server. Parents will receive real-time SMS notifications when their child arrives at or leaves school. The system aims to automate attendance tracking and notify parents, improving on existing manual attendance methods.
This document discusses how QR (Quick Response) codes can be used by academic libraries to reach mobile users and enhance library services. It provides an overview of a case study of the PUMBA Library at the University of Pune, which implemented QR codes to provide mobile access to online journals, a university song video, and other resources. The document also defines what a QR code is, the different types of information they can contain, examples of their use, and how QR codes can help increase the physical use of libraries and engage users on mobile devices.

This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a bank locker security system using IoT. The system uses a Raspberry Pi to capture images of anyone accessing the locker and send them via WhatsApp to the authorized user for verification. If the person is known, the user can authorize opening the locker, but if unknown, the locker remains closed, improving security over existing methods. The system aims to address security issues at banks and workplaces by remotely identifying unauthorized access attempts in real-time through an IoT-connected camera and access control system.
The document describes a proposed smart library automation and monitoring system using RFID technology. The system uses RFID tags attached to books and student ID cards. An RFID scanner reads the tags to automate processes like tracking student entry and exit, book check-in/check-out, and inventory management. This allows transactions to occur without manual intervention. The system also includes an Android app for students to search books and check availability. The goals are to streamline library operations, prevent unauthorized access, and help locate misplaced books. Raspberry Pi hardware and a MySQL database are part of the proposed implementation.

Conventionally, in schools and colleges, attendance is taken by the teacher by
calling students names or roll numbers, mark his or hers presence or absence in the
attendance register. Later attendance is fed into a computer and the attendance
percentage is calculated using software in offline mode. This method is time
consuming and also requires more man power. In this project, a portable Biometric
based Attendance Registration and Consolidation System (BARCS) using Raspberry
Pi3 and Amazon Web Server is developed. This handheld biometric attendance
registration device can be carried by the teacher to the classroom to register the
student’s attendance of a particular session through circulation among students. At
the end of a session, attendance data gets stored in a database in the Raspberry Pi
computer. Then, Pi computes the subject wise attendance percentage and sends it to
the Amazon web server for uploading on the developed webpage. The user can view
the subject wise attendance by accessing the webpage. Also an SMS is sent to the

Product Recognition using Label and BarcodesIRJET Journal
This document presents a proposed system to help blind individuals identify products using label text recognition and barcode scanning. The system uses a camera to capture images of product labels and barcodes. It then applies computer vision and image processing techniques like MSER, Canny edge detection, and OCR to the images to extract the label text or recognize the barcode. For labels, the text is converted to speech using a microcontroller and audio output. For barcodes, the number is searched in a database to find matching product details, which are then announced. The goal is to help blind people independently identify common consumer products through automated reading of printed text and barcodes on the items.

STUDY THE EFFECT OF RESPONSE REDUCTION FACTOR ON RC FRAMED STRUCTUREIRJET Journal
This study examines the effect of response reduction factors (R factors) on reinforced concrete (RC) framed structures through nonlinear dynamic analysis. Three RC frame models with varying heights (4, 8, and 12 stories) were analyzed in ETABS software under different R factors ranging from 1 to 5. Drift also decreased proportionally with increasing R factors from 1 to 5. Shear forces in the frames decreased with higher R factors. In general, R factors of 3 to 5 produced more satisfactory performance with less displacement and drift. The displacement variations between different building heights were consistent at different R factors. This study evaluated how R factors influence

Comparative analysis between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquapon...bijceesjournal
The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.
Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...IJECEIAES
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.
