The document presents the results of an experimental study on using concrete piles to improve weak ground conditions. Single concrete micro piles of varying lengths (40%, 60%, 80% of diameter) were installed in black cotton soil and loaded vertically to determine their ultimate load-carrying capacity. Pile groups with 1 diameter spacing were also tested. The tests found that the load capacity of single piles increased with length, with ultimate loads of 2.04 kN, 2.21 kN, and 5.58 kN for the 40%, 60%, and 80% length piles respectively. Pile groups were found to have a higher load capacity than single piles of the same length, with the capacity increasing as pile length increased.
