The study evaluates the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) materials in dense bituminous mixes to address the growing demand for roadway rehabilitation in India. Laboratory results indicate that RAP content significantly affects the properties of the mixes, with up to 30% RAP showing substantial cost savings of 19% to 30% compared to virgin materials. Overall, the findings suggest that recycled materials can enhance the stability and overall performance of bituminous mixes while promoting sustainable infrastructure development.
