The document experimentally investigates the mechanical properties of natural fiber composites made from groundnut shell, rice husk, and coir fibers reinforced with epoxy resin. Two composite plates were fabricated - one with groundnut shell and rice husk fibers, and one with groundnut and coir fibers. The tensile, flexural, and impact strengths of the plates were then tested according to ASTM standards. The results showed that the plate with groundnut and coir fibers exhibited better mechanical properties than the plate with groundnut shell and rice husk fibers, indicating natural fiber composites have potential as an alternative to synthetic fiber composites.
