This document reviews a gravity-based power generation system. The system works by converting the potential energy of an object moving from a higher to lower altitude into kinetic energy. This kinetic energy is then used to generate electricity with a DC electric motor. The system uses two cabs connected by a rope wound around a drum. As one cab moves down and the other up, the drum rotates, powering gears connected to the motor. Measurements from a voltmeter show the amount of power generated varies with the load in the cabs. Gravity-based systems offer advantages like being eco-friendly, using an unlimited source, and generating power continuously. The design presents a simple way to harness gravitational energy for electricity production.
