1) The document summarizes a presentation on cardiac arrest treatment in the field given by Dr. Nicolas Peschanski on March 7, 2017.
2) It discusses principles for emergency medical services (EMS) treatment of cardiac arrest including immediate recognition, early CPR, rapid defibrillation, effective advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and integrated post-resuscitation care.
3) New strategies discussed include telephone CPR instructions, public access defibrillation using social media, pit crew/high-performance CPR, and re-evaluating pulse checks and epinephrine administration.
The document provides an analysis of three photos based on their visual language elements, including subject matter, lines, color, shapes, depth of field, lighting, and style.
For the first photo, the analysis describes the subject as a window handle with stained glass in natural colors. It notes the horizontal lines and rich, full colors.
The second photo's subject is light shining through a window onto a painting on a wall. The analysis describes the diagonal lines created by shadows and unsaturated dark colors.
Finally, the third photo's subject is an antique bowl. The analysis discusses its small depth of field, vertical lines, naturalistic lighting, and deep saturated colors with restrained saturation.
Overall,
This document summarizes Abby Downing's experimental photography project. It discusses multiple techniques Abby experimented with, including multiple exposure, where she combined exposures of a dog with trees and grass. It also discusses her experiment with the Harris shutter technique, where she combined exposures of a dog running to depict movement. The document evaluates Abby's ideas and the results of her experiments, discusses the qualities and strengths/weaknesses of her work, and how she could further improve and develop her experimental photography.
This document contains an experimental photography student's documentation of their out-of-focus photography project. It includes 4 sets of photos with evaluations of each. The student aimed to create ominous, foreboding images exploring themes of fear using an out-of-focus technique. Through testing different angles, compositions, and post-processing techniques, the student worked to direct the viewer's gaze and obscure details to achieve their themes. They acknowledge room for improving technical skills and developing a clearer subject for the images.
The document discusses experimental photography techniques. It describes creating multiple exposures by combining photographs of a dog with images of trees and grass to create textures. It evaluates this work and says it could be improved by spending more time on post-production to increase contrast. The document also experiments with the Harris shutter technique to depict movement by combining exposures of a dog running across a field, but the backgrounds were not perfectly aligned. It says with more practice this technique could be improved to better show only the intended movement.
The document discusses the student's photography project exploring different styles like street photography, architecture, and landscape photography. It includes contact sheets from two photo shoots, 8 final edited images with descriptions of the edits made, and an evaluation of the project covering composition, audience, technical qualities, influences, and skills learned. The student received mostly positive feedback and aims to focus more specifically on street photography for future work.
Based on the audience research you conducted, here are some key ways your spring photography portfolio project can appeal to your target audience:
- Include a variety of spring photography genres that were popular in the surveys, such as landscapes, flowers, animals and insects. Feature the most popular genres (landscapes) more prominently.
- Incorporate a mix of color and black/white photos, with different effects used throughout.
- For some close-up photos, highlight a single dominant color.
- Add short descriptive captions/subheadings for most photos to provide more context.
- Include some "before and after" photos showing editing/retouching for selected images.
- Arrange 1-3 photos per
The student conducted research through product analysis, questionnaires, and interviews to inform their nature photography portfolio. Questionnaires distributed on Facebook and to peers provided feedback from over 25 people mostly aged 16-19. While this engagement helped shape the work, surveys can be time-consuming. Interviews offered detailed responses but could make people uncomfortable. Overall, the research highlighted including varied angles, focus techniques, and the color green in landscapes and portraits featuring trees, animals, and the sky.
The research methods used provided both strengths and weaknesses in understanding the target audience. Product research gave ideas to create distinctive photos while questionnaires efficiently gauged interests. However, questionnaires had limited responses. Interviews allowed for detailed answers but responses could go off-topic. The research provided a wide range of photo ideas including settings, subjects, and editing styles to appeal to a varied audience. The survey distributed to classmates was convenient but had a small sample size. Overall, the mixed methods approach helped gain audience insights.
The document discusses research conducted for a photography portfolio project. Product research showed that black and white photos with certain objects in color was a common theme. Questionnaires provided feedback on the audience's preferred photography styles, subjects, and editing preferences. Nature photography and straight-forward unedited shots were preferred. Interviews asked additional questions and revealed the audience enjoys traveling and animals. The research methods helped understand the audience but questionnaires provided more reliable data than interviews due to larger sample size.
Here is a summary of your research evaluation:
You conducted product, questionnaire, and interview research to inform your photography project. For product research, you analyzed existing nature photographs online to identify common successful elements like focal points, color schemes, and compositional techniques to incorporate. This provided directly relevant examples but a weakness was not getting audience perspectives. Your questionnaire captured preferences around subjects, styles, and sharing preferences, giving audience insights. Interviews delved deeper into interests and viewing preferences of individuals. Combining these methods provided both technical inspiration and an understanding of your target audience.
The document discusses different types of photography including portrait, landscape, nature, and documentary photography. It provides examples of each type and discusses how technology has advanced each genre over the past 100 years. Portrait photography captures expressions and personalities of individuals or groups. Landscape photography focuses on wide outdoor spaces. Nature photography depicts plants, animals, and other natural subjects. Documentary photography documents real-life events and social issues. The document also includes the writer's own attempts at different genres and how technology has improved clarity, detail, and color reproduction in photographs.
This document contains 4 photos taken by the author along with descriptions of each photo.
The first photo is modified to look like Andy Warhol's pop art, depicting the author's wall art. The second photo shows boots and a layered Chanel sign, attempting to emulate the style of photographers on Tumblr.
The third photo layers a friend blowing bubbles on top of text reading "Wonderland" to invoke childhood memories.
The fourth photo layers the same friend blowing bubblegum with purple smoke to look surreal, taking influence from photographer Karen Helle's abstract style.
This photo series by Shola Welch documents her final photos for a project. The photos show modifications she made to existing photos to emulate pop art styles. One photo of wall art was split into four sections and colored to look like an Andy Warhol canvas. Another photo of boots and a Chanel sign added a grunge effect. A third photo layered a friend blowing bubbles over text saying "Wonderland" to reference childhood memories. The photos aimed to represent Shola's personal style and were inspired by various artists.
This photo depicts Amy wearing a faux fur coat and Starbucks top, about to push her hair behind her ear. The photographer wanted to recreate a style like Rachel Joseph's photo of Helen Flanagan in a fur coat with red lipstick. The photographer used red and green colors which clash to make the photo brighter. Taking the photo freehand allowed getting the desired angle. The fur coat textures and Amy's hair make the photo look soft, while the coat lines frame the Starbucks logo and red lips as the main focuses. The photo reminds the photographer of special winter memories with Amy and Sharna at Starbucks.
Liberty Watts created a wildlife photography exhibition. They chose this topic because they found lots of opportunities to photograph wildlife. Their photos were inspired by National Geographic and other photographers. They used a Canon DSLR and Photoshop to edit the photos, learning new skills. Feedback was positive, praising the effective editing and suitability of the images to the topic. Suggestions for improvement included changing the image layout and making the images fill more space.
Hannah Richards conducted experiments in experimental photography, including reflections, out of focus, movement, and photomerge techniques. For reflections, she photographed reflections in puddles, bins, and light bulbs. The bin reflection provided a fish-eye effect. For out of focus, she photographed her cat, a light, and a flower. She liked how the light photograph looked interesting and blurry. For movement, she photographed her hand and a guitarist. She liked how the guitarist photo captured more movement with brighter lighting from behind. For photomerge, she merged photos of floral wallpaper, liking how the lighting made the silver pattern stand out despite the pattern not matching up completely.
The document discusses the inspiration, areas of focus, equipment, and editing process of a photography project. For inspiration, the photographer was influenced by nature, friends, and finding aesthetic moments. They became interested in macro and abstract photography, enjoying capturing close-up details and finding new perspectives. Equipment used included Canon cameras and Photoshop. Some photos were edited to enhance focus or lighting. Feedback from peers indicated the wasp and light bulb photos were favorites due to quality and interest, while the berry photo was least favorite as too simple and dull.
Thank you for sharing. Let me summarize:
This person does not currently take or post photos. They would not be interested in buying a photography magazine. However, they may still be interested in viewing photos of wildlife and landscapes even if they don't take their own. My product could still appeal to them if it showcases beautiful scenic or nature photography for others to enjoy viewing. Focusing on aesthetically pleasing photos may draw in an audience like this who appreciates photography without actively taking it themselves.
The document discusses several experimental photography techniques including long exposure, HDR, panoramic, and light painting photography.
For long exposure photography, the shutter speed is slow, capturing multiple moving cars over a long period of time and creating light trails. HDR photography merges multiple images at different exposures into one image to show a wide range of intensities. Panoramic photography stitches together multiple images to capture a wide field of view. Light painting involves using lights to "paint" exposures during long shutter speeds.

Overall the evaluation found the project was well-planned and executed but could be enhanced by additional audio elements.
This proposal is for a football podcast aimed at educating and entertaining people over 10 years old. The podcast will interview members of the public about their football team's recent performances and upcoming games. It will discuss transfers, results, and gossip from clubs, players, and managers. The target audience is both male and female fans ages 10 and up, as football appeals to both genders. The podcast will be freely available online to appeal to people of various social economic statuses. It will take care to discuss all teams fairly and not include any offensive or inappropriate content that could upset religious, ethnic, or social groups. Original ideas and content will be used to avoid copyright issues.
This document summarizes the student's FMP evaluation for a game development project. The student researched Mario and Sonic games for inspiration and level ideas. Their planning process involved generating multiple game ideas before selecting a desert-themed jumping game. They created assets like backgrounds, a character, and scoreboard across several lessons. Peer feedback praised the animation and music but noted improvements could be making the animation longer and finishing all elements on time. The student agrees more planning and finishing work on schedule would have strengthened their project.
This document discusses the process of creating an animation for a game. It describes several parts of the animation:
1) The start screen where the user can choose to play, see controls, or quit.
2) The first level of the actual game where the character jumps between rocky platforms.
3) Another part of the first level where the character jumps between platforms near the end of the animation.
4) The last part of the first level and the ending scoreboard that appears after completing the level.
The animation was created using tools like the brush, pencil, eraser, and select tools in the software. Moving elements at the same time and adding a character flip were techniques used during
The document outlines initial plans for designing a video game. It discusses potential genre ideas such as a horror or adventure game. For a horror game, it proposes including scary music, puzzles, and frightening characters. For an adventure game, the document suggests making the main character look rusty and having few items initially. It also includes a mind map about designing a 2D adventure game inspired by Mario and Sonic but with original characters and landscapes. There is a mood board showing images from Mario and Sonic games to influence the design's color scheme, tone, and style.
This document proposes an advergame promoting Coca-Cola that would be released across multiple platforms. The game would involve a Coca-Cola can jumping through stages and ending in a face-off between Coca-Cola and Diet Coke. The target audience is anyone aged 9 and older of any gender or social status who would be appealed to through catchy music and realistic sound effects. Legal and ethical considerations are addressed to avoid offensive content and ensure the game does not infringe on copyright.
The document provides an overview of various ASA codes for marketing communications in the UK. It lists 13 codes covering areas like compliance, recognition as an ad, misleading claims, harm and offense, children, privacy, and food/health claims. Code 1 requires all marketing to be legal, decent, honest and truthful. Code 2 specifies that materials must be identifiable as ads. Code 3 allows ASA to consider UK unfair trading regulations when evaluating complaints about misleading ads.
This document summarizes the student's FMP evaluation. It discusses their research process, planning, time management, technical and aesthetic qualities of their game and side products. For their research, they created a questionnaire to gather ideas from classmates. Their planning went well and helped develop their game concepts. They struggled with time management for their main game product but completed side products on time. Their game was similar to Mario but with their own characters and levels. They could have improved the starter screen background and technical features but felt their work was creative overall.
This document provides an overview of the process for creating an animated game. It describes including an intro screen with a spacebar prompt, a company logo, a main menu with options like Play and Settings. It also describes creating character selection screens with 3 choices, designing game levels with obstacles, powerups, and enemies. Throughout the animation different tools were used including the pencil, brush, and eraser tools. Sound effects and background music were also included to enhance the gaming experience. The finished animation is over 2 minutes long, including multiple levels, character deaths, and checkpoints.
The document discusses fonts, colors, and layout designs that will be used in a 2D game animation. It includes screenshots of two potential layouts for the game that feature a title, background image, and character. It also provides storyboards showing shots of the game's levels from a distance and including the character. The document lists resources and software needed, potential issues and solutions, and a 17-day schedule to complete the animation and app logo/poster.
This proposal is for a pixel adventure/fantasy game called "Lost Relative" aimed at ages 7+. The player controls a character searching levels of a map to find their lost relative. Levels include obstacles, enemies, power-ups, and coins. The story and gameplay are meant to be entertaining with characters that have unique appearances, weapons, and abilities. Feedback from surveys and interviews will inform character and weapon design choices. While similar to Mario in concept, all aspects of the game will be original creations to avoid copyright issues. Care will be taken to avoid offensive content and the game will adhere to advertising standards regarding harm, offense, and honesty.
The document describes experiments conducted for a game character and weapon design. In the first experiment, the author used basic tools like the pencil and eyedropper tools to design a character matching a suggested weapon from a survey. For the second experiment, the author designed a stronger character wielding a flamethrower, which took longer. The author reflects that they will include weapon designs and bright colors in their final pixelated game, with single-layer character animations, incorporating feedback from their surveys and interviews.
The questionnaire responses showed that the target audience for the game project consists primarily of male teenagers aged 17-18 who have an interest in games. They indicated preferences for adventure and fantasy genres. Most play games on PlayStation consoles. To appeal to this audience, the product will include adventure elements, be suitable for ages 16+, and take inspiration from the audience's recommendations.
The document proposes creating a Mario-inspired animated game that lasts 3 minutes. Key elements would include character selection, two levels (desert and castle), and additional side features like an app logo and magazine spread. The game would appeal to audiences ages 7 and older of both genders. Photoshop would be used to create the game and additional products like a magazine cover. The proposal discusses the concept, products, software needs, and target audience.
The document discusses fonts, colors, and layout designs that will be used in a game project. It lists several fonts like Lucida Console, Rockwell, and Georgia that could be used for headings. Green and blue colors will mainly be used for landscape and sky backgrounds. Two layout designs are presented using a character and background images found online with a title font from Dafont. The document also includes sections on storyboards, resources, contingency planning, health and safety, and a schedule for completing the game animation over 17 days in Photoshop.
This document provides a proposal for a new adventure/fantasy pixel game. The game will include different characters, levels, and a storyline where the main character searches for their lost relative. The levels will be 2D side-scrolling like Mario, featuring obstacles and enemies. Feedback from research and questionnaires will influence character abilities, enemies, and levels. The target audience is ages 7+ of both genders, as the game concept is similar to Mario. The game will not include offensive content and original characters/levels will be created to avoid copyright issues.
The author conducted two character design experiments using basic digital tools like the pencil, brush, and eyedropper tools. In the first experiment, the author designed a character matching a friend's appearance but with custom features, giving the character armor-like colored arms. The second experiment was more difficult and time-consuming due to designing a character wielding a flamethrower. Both experiments helped the author practice character design and informed the style and elements that will be included in their pixel adventure game, such as weapons and a variety of bright and dark colors.
The document summarizes research from an audience questionnaire about preferences for video game genres, platforms, and features. Key observations include:
- The audience is primarily male teenagers who enjoy playing games for 1-2 hours at a time.
- They showed interest in adventure, fantasy, and action genres and mainly play on PlayStation consoles and phones.
- There was a mix of preferences for character abilities, with having a weapon and open-ended suggestions being popular.
The creator will aim to appeal to this audience by including genres, controls, and character options mentioned as interests in their game design. They will target phones and consoles and aim for a playtime that doesn't encourage excessive use.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.
2. Existing Product
Location – the location of the picture looks like it’s on grass
in the cold winter term and has frozen over.
Angle – The angle of the photo is from the cats side and
the cat looking near the camera. The angle is low and not
high up, so the same height as the cat.
Use of lighting – The lighting is used quite good as the
picture looks really bright. The sun is shining down on the
snowy grass and on the cat making it easier to see.
Colours – There isn’t that many colours in this picture,
however not having too many pictures can make the
photo better, in my opinion. The colours used are white,
brown and grey all basic colours that are used well. The
cat has different shades of grey and the area around the
cat is white because of the snow.
Audience – People might want to buy this photo because
it might look like a cat they previously had or just like the
picture because of the location and the colours used.
People will also buy this because it’s high quality and
looks professional.
Effects – Rack focus is used to show the cool-looking
features on the cat and blurs out the surroundings in the
background. This makes the cat the main topic in the
photo and wants people to look at the good quality of the
photo.
3. Existing Product
Location – The location where the photo was taken in my
opinion was in a forest or a gardens somewhere where you
normally find squirrels.
Angle – the angle of the photo is from the side of the
squirrel showing all the colours and other cool little
features. It’s a better angle than being behind it for
example because you can see all of the squirrel.
Effects – Rack focus is used to aim on the squirrel instead of
it’s surroundings. For example the squirrel is more focused
on because the background (which looks like bushes or
trees) is blurred out making the squirrel the main part of
the photo.
Use of lighting – From my view of the picture there isn’t that
much light aiming on the squirrel. However, this could be
because of the weather when taking the photo and wasn’t
good enough at the time. There isn’t really anything that
stands out with it’s brightness.
Colours – there’s only a few colours shown in this photo.
There’s different shades of grey, green and black and
white. Like said on the previous picture having a few
colours instead of loads of colours makes it better and
makes the picture look better in my opinion.
Audience – People will want to buy this photo / product
because they will think it’s small and cute. This means
that people who adore animals will buy something like
this. Also it’s a good picture of the squirrel and shows how
high quality it is.
4. Existing Product
Location – The location of the photo looks like a local field
which pets such as dogs can run about and have fun with
their owners.
Angle – The angle is different from the previous two
pictures. The photo has being taken from the front
showing off the dogs excitement and freedom. This photo
will taken at a great time because the dog is midway
through jumping or running so it looks even better.
Effects – The only effect I found in this photo is Rack focus
which focuses on the main topic. For example rack focus is
used on the dog and the rest of the photo, everything
around the dog is blurred out so the dog stands out. Puts
more of a high quality look on the dog than its
surroundings.
Use of lighting – The use of lighting is used from the sun
beaming down on the dog’s features and colours.
Colours – This photo has plenty more colours involved
than the previous two photos. It includes the colours
green, blue, black, orange and yellow / cream. The colours
are used really well and shows of the dog because of it’s
bright colours.
Audience – The audience that love animals will want to
buy this product because it’s good quality, they might
have a dog similar to this one or they just like it. More
colours used to give it freedom.
5. Existing Product
Location – The location is probably a pitch of grass
somewhere and the bird is flying over it in the air.
Angle – the angle is from the side of the bird flying by. The
photo and the angle is perfectly timed to show of the cool
looking features of this type of bird. The angle is slightly
underneath which shows the wings.
Effects – The effect used on this and the rest of the
photos is rack focus and is used to blur out the
background and focus and the main part of the photo,
the bird.
Use of lighting – On the wings there’s a hint of the colour
white which in my opinion is the sun shining on the wings of
the bird and lighting it up. Also there’s shade on the birds
neck. The lighting is bright and shows off the birds features
and makes the bird look good, especially from that angle.
Colours – Again there’s only a few colours shown in this
photo, however they’re used very well. The green and
grey are the main colours in this picture. There’s also a
hint of blue, pink and black shown on the bird. This is
mainly the features of the type of bird that it is.
Audience – The audience would buy this photo because
it’s high quality and shows of the birds colours and
features. The photo is mainly focused on the bird and
looks really good.
6. Existing Product
Location – The location of the is photo is probably from a
table or a stand of some kind because it’ again hard to tell
where this is taken.
Angle – The angle of the photo is from the front and
slightly to the side of the dog. It shows majority of the
dog’s features and is timed perfectly as the dog is sat
looking away from the camera. This makes the dog look
like he’s posing.
Effects – Because this photo was taken in the 1990s there
won’t be any effects on the photo because back then it
wasn’t that advanced.
Use of lighting – From my point of view there isn’t any use
of lighting because you can’t really tell. If there was lighting
it would be aimed on the dog because it looks like he’s on a
stand of some kind. Maybe the left side of the dogs face has
a bit of light on it because it looks brighter and has some
shade underneath.
Colours – Because the camera didn’t have a colour feature
back then the picture is black and white. However that
doesn’t make the picture look bad. You can tell from
lighter areas on the dog it’s a bright colour and the dark
parts are darker colours.
Audience – The audience would buy this photo because
it’s old-fashioned and people at an old age or maybe
younger will want to bring back the memories and the
times of these photos. The photo isn’t in colour because
of the camera. People find these pictures nice to look at.
7. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products have?
All the photos include the effect rack focus, which mainly focuses on the main part of the picture.
From the photos used it’s the animals. They also have one colour that is used all the time.
Majority of them have the colour green and show patches of grass. All the photos are from a
different angle which makes it better and not the same all the time. Picture one is from the
side with the cat facing the camera. Same angle for picture two but the animal isn’t looking at
the camera. The last two are perfectly timed because it’s difficult to get a picture whilst a
animal is mid-air or in the air. The lighting on each photo is really good and shows off the
features of each individual animal. There might be a bit of editing in some of the photos
whether it’s the brightness or just editing the picture in general. The photo that is different
from the rest is the last one, that is black and white. You can’t really notice the effects,
location, or the lighting in the photo that’s why it’s hard to write anything about it.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
I would maybe include the effect rack focus so the background isn’t really focused on. I want the
animals to be focused on more than the surroundings in the picture. I would also include
some of the colours used in majority of the photos. Colours such as green, grey and colours
of the animal I use. Obviously if there’s something wrong with the picture and if I can change
it, I would edit it on Photoshop and try to solve the problem.
