Miss Luces has been teaching Biology for three years
in a public high school in a rural district of her province.
Being a conscientious teacher she is always determined to
enhance her lessons by using authentic instructional
materials. One day, in her lessons on living organisms she
found herself in a dilemma of showing real examples of living
specimens to her students. She thinks that purchasing
replicas of these samples will be very expensive on her part;
more so she believes that her school cannot afford to buy
these stuff.
Question:What will Miss Luces do to address her concern or need?
Mr. Cruz is an English teacher in his school and he has
been handling the senior classes for five years. He has
always been enjoying the comprehension aptitude and
ability of his students to give substantial and thoughtful
responses every time they do a reading selection. On his
sixth year, he is assigned to handle English freshmen.
Without complaint he accepted the challenge of teaching
the students; however he struggles adjusting with the
inferior and weak responses of his new students especially
when letting them understand abstract ideas (like
“cooperation” for example).
Question: How will Mr. Cruz attend to this need of his students?
