This document presents information on a combined ejector-vapor compression cycle for refrigeration and air conditioning. It begins with an introduction noting the conventional use of electricity in R&AC and the low COP of solar energy systems. It then discusses the conventional vapor compression cycle and Rankine cycle before explaining the ejector cooling system and combined ejector-vapor compression cycle. The combined cycle is said to eliminate disadvantages in an eco-friendly way with over 50% increase in COP compared to conventional cycles while preventing ozone depletion and reducing greenhouse effects in a cost effective and low maintenance system.
