I selected the image that I wanted and uploaded it onto
Photoshop. I used the Quick Selection Tool to select parts of the image that I
wanted to erase. Then I used the Background Eraser Tool to
actually erase the background. I used the Paint Brush Tool to
erase the background and parts of the model that I didn’t want,
such as her flyaway hair .
I copied an image from Google Images. I pasted the mist-like
image onto Photoshop, resizing the image and placing it
beneath the model layer.

I used the brightness tool to change the appearance of the model. I
alternated her make up, making it much lighter and brighter. I then
changed the hair, face and hands, making them darker, as the image was
too light. I also alternated the model’s jacket, changing the brightness,
contrast and vibrancy, allowing it to become much brighter, more of a
rose red colour, rather than the light pink original colour.
I used the font Haze to create the headline. I made the text
coloured green, which really stands out against the bright red
colour and the black. I used Bebas Neue for the masthead,
colouring it in white so it stands out against the black misty
background.
I used the fonts NK57 Monospace Condenses for the sell lines. I decided to
use two different colours, blue and white. Blue is for the more important
information, the one that pops up to the readers. The text here is all
capitalized. I surrounded the sell lines around the model.
I copied a barcode image from Google Images and
pasted it onto Photoshop. I resized the image and
placed it near the bottom left hand side. I used Bebas
Neue font for the issue number, date and pricing and
made it white.
