Coming of Age in Mississippi The book Coming of Age in Mississippi goes into detail about a very
prominent time in United States history. The book takes us back to a time where the issue of civil
rights began to rise eventually reaching its peak marking this an unforgettable time in history for that
generation and for generations to come. During this time the south in general was already a tough
place to be in, but the in the Deep South things were even worse, which is where the story takes place.
Not only was race a huge issue other things factored into these trying times such as huge levels of
poverty, and various acts of violence. Although all of these factors played a crucial part to the make up
of the Civil Rights Movement, the one that stands out the most is prejudice with the other factors such
as unfair gender roles and poverty falling suit behind. Anne Moody shares different stages of her life
throughout the book, starting from her childhood documenting life changing events all the way

time. The Hadoop based batch processing is a powerful tool for analyzing data offline. But it fails to
process anything in real time. Highly sensitive situations like crediting card fraud detection,
networking fault prediction; threat detection and so on cannot be postponed for an offline analysis.
Situations like these need instant results because if something is not done to mitigate a potential threat
in real time, the damage may be catastrophic. The goal of this project is to come up with a scalable
and efficient solution which can process heterogeneous data in the most simplified design possible in

Following the Watergate scandal, the Federal Elections Campaign Act of 1974 was amended to create
the regulatory agency, known as the Federal Elections Commission, in 1975. The duties of the FEC
consist largely of enforcing regulation, limitation, and prohibition on financial contributions to federal
campaigns, candidates, political parties, and political action committees. The Act has thoroughly set
limits on the amount of money a person or committee may donate to the previously mentioned
situations. For example, an individual can donate no more than $2,600 to any federal campaign per
election, and a combined limit of $10,000 to local and state parties every calendar year. The case at
hand involves Shaun McCutcheon challenging the aggregate limits as a violation of the First
Amendment right of expression. An Alabaman Conservative businessman, McCutcheon expressed
that he wished to donate more than the contributions he was able to make in the last election cycle. He
wanted to contribute an amount that would stay within base limits but surpass aggregate limits set by

medium is the message (McLuhan 1964). In other words, these shifts are not as much the direct result
of the invention s content or it s use, as they are the outcomes of effects that are intrinsic within the
technology itself. Although McLuhan published this work in 1964, almost thirty years before the
invention of the World Wide Web, this adage still holds true for the Internet today.
Technologies, such as the Internet, should not be viewed, using the instrumentalist perspective, as

A Meeting At The First Congregational Church
I went to an AA meeting at the First Congregational Church in New London, Connecticut on Monday
February 22, at 7 pm. It was located in a larger room in the basement of the church. There were
around fifteen members that attended. The individual s came from an array of different ages and
ethnicities, both men and woman. There was no one race or ethnicity that dominated another in the
meeting, it was a very warm, accepting atmosphere. I noticed right away that there was more young
adults around the age of thirty than elderly members. There was also around the same number of
males and females in attendance. The meeting began with the appointed leader asking if there were
any new members in the group, and gave them a chance to introduce themselves. I also introduced
myself at this time, and explained my role as a student. They then transitioned into reciting the
serenity prayer and having a moment of silence, allowing them to give thanks to their higher power.
The leader then had different individuals recite the week s motivational phrase and reflect on the
quote. The quote talked about forgiving yourself as an alcoholic, and the concept of letting go of the

The idea that connects all three gemarot is how we decide on halacha and whose and which opinions
take precedence and how we decide that. In the first gemara, we learn that G d is irrelevant in making
