This article examines the challenges faced with the application of mobile business Intelligence within
an organisation. Over the years, the demand of data management and usage has increased within an
organisation. As a result of the increase in data creation as well as availability, most organisation has
sought out various medium to make their data mobile in which they are available for use at any time,
thus sustaining competitive advantage by integrating all data channels to offer a broader analytical
perspective on a business for competitors. Furthermore, the author stated some of the reasons of the
use of Mobile Business Intelligence, which includes the possibilities for real time decision support, it s
accessible as mobile phones are part of our day to day life, etc. However, with the range of large data
to process and use simultaneously, this may likely generate into problems such as security risk,
difference in GUI of a phone and a Computer, Low storage space in most mobile devices. In
particular, there a few limitation faced when running BI application on a mobile interface such as, the
limited amount of sent data, poor resolution of a mobile device, low memory.
Despite of all the positive and negative arguments concerning the Mobile Business Intelligence field

Normative Discontent of Body Image
Many people in modern culture have developed what has been termed a normative discontent with
their bodies. Women are particularly vulnerable to this development of body dissatisfaction, which has
been shown to create numerous negative heath issues. These health issues are a direct result from
trying to achieve the unrealistic ideal image media has created. This idea on how the body should look
floods modern media and women are discriminated upon if they are unable to meet these strict
physical requirements. However, unknown to the masses, the majority of the physical characteristics
portrayed are achieved from digital enhancement and not only the product of weight loss. It is my goal

Amenorrhea, the loss of menstruation in women is a likely outcome. This can be a major health

The Tragedy Hecuba Which Was Written By Euripides Essay
Kathleen:
Our play was the tragedy Hecuba which was written by Euripides in 424 BC, 7 years after the
beginning of the Peloponnesian and Archidamian War which was fought between Athens and Sparta.
Euripides was an Athenian who was born around 485BC on the island of Salamis which is off the
coast of Piraeus. He competed several times in Athens annual City Dionysia, which, as we know, was
a dramatic festival held in honour of Dionysus. This means that the majority of his audience would
have been Athenians, like himself.
So, just a quick introduction to the play. The key characters are HECUBA who was the Queen of Troy
and wife of the Trojan King Priam, THE GHOST OF POLYDORUS who was the son of Hecuba and
Priam, POLYXENA who was their daughter, POLYMESTOR who was the King of the Thrace and
was also married to Priam s eldest daughter, ODYSSEUS, who as we know was a Greek Homeric
hero and AGAMEMNON who was the Greek leader.
The story takes place just after the Trojan War while the Greeks are heading home. It begins with the
GHOST OF POLYDORUS telling a story of how he was murdered by POLYMESTOR for treasure
and his body was thrown into the sea. On their way home, the Greeks with their Trojan prisoners,
including HECUBA and POLYXENA, anchor in the same place and must sacrifice Polyxena in order
to placate the spirit of Achilles. After her daughter is sacrificed, Hecuba learns of POLYDORUS
death, driving her to madness. She knew that POLYMESTOR was the guilty party and with the

Examples Of Bitterness In The Crucible
Bitterness is a feeling of anger, hurt, or resentment toward a bad experience or a sense of unjust
treatment. This emotion is human nature since humans were primitive because it made humans
remember events that negatively affected them, causing feelings such as anger, hate, and hostility
toward what caused the problem. In the play The Crucible by Arthur Miller, many circumstances came
up that caused strong feelings of pain, irritation, and furry. Bitterness is used to demonstrate a factor of
human nature throughout the play by illustrating the experiences of resentment caused by conflicts. A
part of human nature is feeling bitter, and that concept is shown through different situations during the
play. Mrs. Putnam in The Crucible was trying ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Proctor said this because he was angry and resentful to the judge. The judge had very little reason to
accuse his wife. This causes Proctor to become bitter. Human nature teachers this because humans
strive for the truth. Whenever the truth is twisted humans become bitter and spiteful. An instance
occurred when Elizabeth went against what Proctor told her to do. PROCTOR: How do you go to
Salem when I forbid it? Do you mock me? Shaking her. I ll whip you if you dare leave this house
again! (Miller 55). Proctor gets very furious and threatens to whip her. When a person sets a rule and
another person breaks that rule it causes frustration and results in bitterness. Anger completely
overtook Marry Warren during Abigail s trial because Abigail lied about how Elizabeth was using
witchcraft. Mary Warren, on her feet with a spring, and horrified, pleading: Abby! (Miller 115). The
reason Mary Warren got so uncontrollably mad was due to human nature. Abigail made up that was a
yellow bird and was out to get her. It is human nature to seek the truth and Abigail lying caused Mary
Warren to become that way. During this experience Hale is questioning Elizabeth about

Dell incorporation is a well known name in households and organizations everywhere. This is because
Dell is the largest mail order computer vendor in the world due to their high reputation or providing

not habe been possible without Mr. Michael Dell, the genius behind this prominent and successful

This strategy was developed to replace the traditional boundaries among end users, suppliers and
manufacturers through the use of its technology and information. Virtual integration utilizes mass
customization, customer focus, just in time manufacturing and supplier partnerships and combines
them to ensure that coordination is enabled. According to Wang et.al (2006), virtual integration is
substituting ownership with partnership through the integration of suppliers in an attempt to achieve
collaboration in the supply chain. This collaboration with suppliers allows Dell to enjoy the benefits of
virtual integration without having to set up their own manufacturing facility. Wang further mentioned
that virtual integration can assist manufacturers in attaining a higher flexibility in manufacturing and
also to achieve comparative advantage. In addition, Dell gain competitive advantage through its
supply chain management by requesting that key suppliers develop inventory hubs in close proximity

Essay on The Ever Changing Concept of Health
With the dominance of medicine over the past two hundred years many historical health concepts have
gone through various changes. The definition of health is dependent on one s perspective, be it lay,
professional or from influences of specific cultures or social ideals and health policies of a particular
time or place (Fleming Parker 2012, p.30, Naidoo Wills 2000).
An exploration through history will reflect on the health philosophies of the ancient Greeks and
Romans, the Middle Age s concept of quarantine and isolation and the religious theories of disease
including a brief insight into the renaissance. Subsequently, a discussion of health concepts of the past

The Greek scholar Hippocrates (c.460BC c.370BC), defined the humoral conception of health, [the
Four Humours], with the balance of these being responsible for health, interacting together with
lifestyle and environment, including individual constitution, clean air, diet and clean water. He noted
in his writings, regarding the workers and slaves, that neglect of diet affected their health, yet, work
was not considered an influencing factor on humoral balance (Tountas 2009, p.186 187, Fleming
Parker 2012, p.28, Turner 2000, p.13, Krieger, pp.43 44, Noviik and morrow, 2008, p.5). Others such
as Empedocles, Aristotle and later Galen extended Hippocratic humoral theory to link other elements
(Hays 2009, pp.9 13). No matter which variation, these theories were an attempt to rationalise
individual incidents of sickness and the differences in health status in the populace in relation to
underlying principles and environmental exposures (Krieger, p.46). According to Krieger (2011, p.47)
Greek politics had influence stating not only nature but politics informed the conceptualization of
balance in Greek humoral theory .
Tountas (2009, p.187) noted that ancient Greek physicians were itinerant craftsmen, earning their
reputation for skill from the successes of previous visits (Veith 1980, p.532). The diversity of their
practice included leech craft, magic and what is known today as allied health professions including

Portal Hypertension Paper
Hello, my name is Amy Gordon and I will be discussing the disease process of Portal Hypertension,

hematological, metabolic and circulatory Systems. I will also be discussing the types of treatments, the
average annual cost of medication therapy, side effects of the medications, and how to prevent
exacerbation of the disease from occurring.
Portal Hypertension is known as an increase in the pressure of the portal venous system (Lewis,

sparing diuretic. Lasix will help with prevention of ascites, by removing the excess fluid around the
major organs and abdominal area (Lehne, 2013). Inderal is the drug of choice in the prevention of
bleeding, due to increased pressure in the portal vein (Lehne, 2013). Finally, I would have the

Strategies For Preventing Guns From The Streets Of New Haven
For years, people in New Haven have been brainstorming strategies to help prevent gun violence in
the communities. With the identifying the factors contributing to gun violence, community organizers
have come up with strategies that are specifically related to them. The main priority is to completely
remove guns from the streets of New Haven. Right now, there are two gun buy back programs in New
Haven that are lead by Yale New haven Hospital and the New Haven Police Department (City Wide).
The purpose of this program is for people to turn in un registered guns and receive money in return.
Some argue that the gun buy back program does not prevent gun violence because they are taking
guns from law abiding citizens who would never use them in a crime and do not reach those who are
likely to use them in a crime (Cameron). In New Haven, guns in the streets travel from people to
people and at some point, it can fall into the hands of a person who is anticipating on shooting
someone. That is all that it takes. One of the most successful gun buy back programs held in new
Haven was August 6, 2016. That day, The New Haven Police Department was able to retrieve one
hundred and twenty seven operable firearms. They took in eighty five handguns, thirty eight rifles and
shotguns and four assault weapons (Wilkins). In the past five years, the New Haven Police
Department has collected over five hundred guns from the gun buy back programs. Going along with

Gender, Political, And Economic Equality Of The Sexes
In the words of the famous Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a feminist is a person who
believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. I believe that though some might
argue that ever since women got the right to vote men and women have been equal, it simply is not so
and it is evident in so many different aspects, from a parent s desire to abort a fetus when they learn
the gender is female to the unequal pay in the U.S. working class between the genders. In all societies
men and women have different gender identities assigned to them from birth which include, but are
not limited to differences in dress and actions, social responsibilities, and of course job roles. We live
in a world where a man is ridiculed for taking his wife s last name or in the case of my mother, the
cost of choosing to hyphenate her last name with my fathers is for her to be singled out and marked as
a red flag by United States airport security every time she travels. We are systematically ingrained to
hold men and women to different standards and roles which then expands into the workforce, creating
inequality because in the fight for the same role the men will eventually dominate over the women.
Gender inequality in the workplace is a very common, important social and economical issue that has
been around for many years and, at today s rate, will be around for the next one hundred years.
There are many dangers worldwide that a person might be exposed to, but

Descartes Epistemology
Epistemology
Carefully explain Descartes cogito and his attempt to build his knowledge structure from the ground
up. (Be as succinct as possible.) Does Descartes succeed or fail in that attempt? Justify your answer in

Descartes Epistemology
This essay attempts to explain Descartes epistemology of his knowledge, his Cogito, Ergo Sum
concept (found in the Meditations), and why he used it [the cogito concept] as a foundation when
building his structure of knowledge. After explaining the concept I give a brief evaluation of his
success in introducing and using this cogito as a foundation. Finally, I provide reasons why I think
Descartes succeeded in his epistemology.

The argument, as Descartes presented, does not give a valid reason for the existence of the body or
anything else in the physical world, so we cannot accept that bodies exist. Neither does the cogito
account for the existence of other minds as that would entail knowledge of the physical world where
other things exist. The cogito concept does however; give a valid argument for the existence of the
mind or a thinking thing that exists independently of the body. In his novel Think, Blackburn explains
the cogito concept as a means of justifying the core of one s existence as thinking, we accept that
thought exists not a self (Blackburn, 2001:20). I agree with Blackburn because his [Descartes ]
concept serves well to prove that we exist as thinking things and even if we were to discard any a
priori or a posteriori knowledge, we can still endorse the cogito. The cogito concept stands regardless
of empirical knowledge because it suggests the existence of thought without actually linking it to the
body (which constitutes a sort of empirical way of acquiring knowledge through the senses). In
addition, it can be accepted without any a priori knowledge since Descartes only introduced it after
concluding that he knew nothing, and could only accept knowledge of his own existence as
vindicated.
To assess Descartes choice of foundation I will raise some questions that implore an explanation

Sunday In The Park Theme
Sunday in the park is a story written by Bel Kaufmann, which was published in 1985. The story
presents two conflicts, the first conflict is between two different families, and the other conflict is how
to distinguish between right and wrong.
The wife is a very caring woman. She believes that you must behave properly, even if it is in a public
sandbox. It can be seen by this quote: We mustn t throw sand. It may get in someones eyes and hurt,
we must play nicely in the nice sandbox (Page 97, line 19 20). Therefore is she a very caring woman,
she would like to teach Larry how to fix his own problems with his bullies. When she told the bully to
stop throwing sand at her child, the boy s father came and told his son that it was alright to throw sand.
After it happened, she got nervous and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is seen in this quote with all the dignity she could summon, she pulled Larry s sandy perspiring little
hand while Morton pulled the other. Slowly and with head high she walked with her husband and
child out of the playground. (Page 99, line 6 10).
The wife is not happy about the way Morton handled the situation when they walked away. It is shown
that she is very disappointed with her husbands behavior, because he is just a coward who is running
from his problems. Furthermore she is disappointed because her husband is not able to fight his own
battles, she want him to be strong and fight his own fights, instead of just running away. (Page 99 Line
27 32).
The theme in the story is that you have to be aware of problems in relationships. Things you never
have thought about can turn into problems. So that means that when you enter a relationship you have
to be ready to deal with some little problems, which can turn into bigger problems. It can be seen in
the story, where the wife is in love with Morton and nothing is wrong between them. But when
Morton lost the conflict, the wife got angry on

Environmental Consequences Of Offshore Oil Drilling
Offshore oil drilling is a controversial topic because when oil spills, it does extensive amounts of
damage to the environment. Countries capable of mining oil in the ocean reap the economic benefits
in addition to reducing their dependency on external oil. While it is uncontroversial that offshore
drilling is a massive boon for those countries, the environmental consequences of a spill also affect the
economic welfare of nearby residents. Oil contaminates animals through a process called
biomagnification, where chemicals progressively become more detrimental to the animals the higher
they are on the food chain. When oil spills into the ocean, it impairs the growth of native species and
deteriorates the ecosystem. As a result, the livelihood of people in the tourist industry, fisherman, and
shrimpers is crippled and may take decades to recover. Presuming that a country has a coast it can use
for drilling, excavating oil from depths of up to a mile is nowhere near effortless. In addition to
common oilrig accidents, fires and spills, there are a plethora of problems that oil riggers can
encounter including severe weather storms (like hurricanes) and inexperience in the remote oceans
depths. Oilrigs are being used even deeper in the ocean creating new environmental and engineering
problems. Dr. Joseph A. Pratt of the University of Houston, highlights the problems riggers
encountered when drilling for oil in the Canadian sector of the Beaufort Sea; conditions were

Satire In Herman Melville s Moby Dick
Satire in Herman Melville s Moby Dick
Herman Melville s Moby Dick is a parting from the traditional conception of the Anglo European
novel in underlying the idea of the self as opposed to society, or, the human being in contrast to the
universe. Many of Melville s themes are typical of American Romanticism: the isolated self and the
difficulty of self revelation, the imperfections of human knowledge, the contrast between immorality
and virtue, and the pursuit of the truth. Although Melville intended to publish a sort of moral parable,
he rejected its unambiguity and one sided interpretation. Moby Dick portrays many American
symbols: the Nantucketer as a new type of hero; the ultimate American legacy, democracy (a political
concept which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His animosity towards slavery is evident in Moby Dick he often uses extensive rhetoric to unmask the
crimes related to slavery. He is focused not only on the South s persistent justification of slavery but
the fact that the majority of society of the time kept their eyes closed to the reality of it.
Satire represents a perfect literary mode for illustrating revolutions, mirroring not only the craziness of
insurgency but also the moral (d)evolution of Melville s society. Ahab s imaginary struggle with the
whale stems from speculations concerning both Melville and America as a nation. Melville created his
tale of a mimed and deranged captain in pursuit of revenge against his frightening adversary, the
White Whale, parallel to the South s weighing of revolt against the North. By giving the satirical
frame to this ideological conflict, Melville tried to unmask the reality, thus casting aside traditional
narrative forms that would conceal the truth and cover up for what he thought was one of many major
historical inconsistencies: the concurrence of democracy and slavery in America. Accordingly,
Melville s claim that Moby Dick was illustrated by his own experience as a harpooner appears rather
unseemly, since it is questionable that he ever held a harpoon. It could be Melville s fictive depiction
of himself as a different kind of harpooner a writer who wanted to unmask the

The Russo Japanese war began on February 8th, 1904 when the Japanese launched a surprise attack on
the Russian fleet and ended September 5th, 1905 with the treaty of Portsmouth led by Theodore
Roosevelt. The war had a substantial effect on both of its participants, the Russians and the Japanese,
but first this essay will talk about the events leading up to it, such as the Russian encroachment. In
1898 the Chinese and Russians finally negotiated a convention after three months by which china
would lease to Russia Port Arthur in Talianwan, a tremendously strategic point which would be Russia
s sole warm water port on the coast of the pacific, and its surrounding waters. Immediately after their
agreement, Russia took no time in occupying the Port. A year later, Russia began to build the southern
Manchurian railroad to further consolidate their position at Port Arthur. The building of the railroad
led to be one of the causes of the Boxer rebellion. Because of the Boxer rebellion, the uprising of a
secret organization in china against the spread of western and Japanese influence there, the Russians

In recent weeks you may have received a slightly greater than usual number of e mails purporting to
be invoices or collection notices from a wide variety of sources. Despite our utilization of state of the
art e mail filtering mechanisms, it is inevitable that a certain number of these messages will still get
through. Ill willed entities (with various motivations) are continuously attempting to obviate whatever
protective mechanisms are placed in their way.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind all e mail users of the following advice:
If a message appears to come from an unexpected source, an entity you have never dealt with, or to
which you have never given your business e mail address, you should immediately be at least
somewhat suspicious of its authenticity.
If a message makes claims regarding a business connection or account which does not exist, you
should also be suspicious. Such messages almost never come from a legitimate business that is merely
mistaken about these sorts of things. They are almost always fake.
If the sender s purported address does not match the purported sender s business name, be very
suspicious. For instance, if a message appears to be a collection notice from American Express, but the
sender s e mail address appears as poubelle2167@reparationdevelosdesttropez.fr, you should
immediately be suspicious. Do look carefully, though, as a sender will sometimes use a clever, but not

Metaphors In Boiling Water
In the short story of Boiling Water , three metaphors comparing life s struggles to a potato, egg, and
coffee beans are introduced. Each one of these foods was placed into a pot of boiling water. However,
the outcome of the three foods was different. The potato came out soft and weak while the egg came
out hard and strong. The coffee beans came out as something different. The different ways the food
reacted can be compared to how us humans react to a certain situation or conflict. For example, in the
Tragedy of Macbeth, Macbeth himself is a potato. He let his ambition for power completely conceive

Alternative Sources Of Alternative Energy
Introduction Since the industrial age, fossil fuels have been used as a source of energy and power. The
fossil fuels are used and converted into coal, oils, and gasses. The products of fossil fuels are mostly
Carbon, which is harmful to the environment, leading to global warming and climate change, and O
zone destruction. These conditions cause global temperature increase, ocean acidification, rising sea
levels, health problems due to pollution, and the destruction of ecosystems (climate.nasa.gov).
Considering these issues, alternative energy sources are something that can be used to help combat
harmful fossil fuels and lessen humanity s Carbon footprint (the amount of carbon dioxide and other
carbon compounds emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels by a person, group, etc.). There are
multiple alternative and renewable energy sources available on the market today. Some of these
include: solar panels, geothermal systems, and wind turbines; However, another alternative energy
source could be harvesting lightning. Unlike the previous alternative energy sources, lightning can
produce large amounts of power in a single strike. A single lightning bolt carries enough energy
comparable to the energy stored in 145 liters of petrol (Malavika1, Vishal, p. 23). The lightning does
not have to be built or mass produced, only the system used to harvest it. Harvesting the power of
lightning would allow for a decrease on the reliance of fossil fuels for power as well as help solve

Essay about Drilling for Oil in The Gulf of Mexico
America has been dependant on oil since the 1800 s and the invention of modern machinery. From
skin care products to the gasoline in our cars and engines, petroleum is the basis of almost everything
we use for everyday life. Without oil the nation could not meet the energy demands we need to
survive. Continued exploration has been the topic of heated debate among supporters and opponents,
especially when it comes to offshore drilling. My goal here is to show the differing view points of
drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico and present a better understanding from a national perspective.

by this committee, Hastings said. As chairman, I intend to introduce legislation to put the Gulf of
Mexico back to work. There are five compelling reasons why the United States should drill our own
oil, as found by a 2008 study group: jobs, revenue, economic growth, public demand, and energy
independence. Allowing drilling off the coasts of the U.S. would also create over 100,000 new jobs.
Over $1 trillion in royalties for federal and state governments could be collected. By using our own
reserves we will spend far less on imported oil and move closer to our energy independence.
According to a study done by the American Petroleum Institute, if offshore areas were opened to new
exploration and drilling, the national production is estimated to increase by 36% in 20 years. Federal
royalties are estimated to be approximately $4 trillion over the project life cycle; A hefty weight off

Wealth Inequality Of The United States
Wealth in the United States is generally thought to be distributed fairly as the highest earners have a
higher percentage of wealth. Although this common notion is technically correct, the wealth is not
spread as fairly as people might believe. The United States uses a free market, capitalistic economy,
which entails wealth inequality. However, the amount of wealth inequality depends on how the
government limits the wealthy. Interestingly enough, the government does not have regulations to
distribute the wealth more fairly as the top 1% of earners in the United States own about 40% of the
financial wealth in the country and the bottom 80% of earners own a measly 4.7%. Astonishingly, the
financial wealth for the top 20% increased from 1983 to 2010 meaning the wealth became more
concentrated at the higher socioeconomic tiers as time passed. These economic inequalities benefited
the wealthy as they gained political powers, controlled a large portion of the economic market, and
used capitalism to manipulate the public s perspective of the wealth distribution in the United States.
While wealth inequality is a result of capitalism, extremely wealthy people use their wealth to exercise
political power, but the average person does not understand that this is a corrupt method of crippling
the economy in favor of the ultra wealthy.
To begin, the wealthiest earners in the United States have more power politically and economically
than the rest of the population. To illustrate the

How Did Dorothea Dix Impact The World
What greater bliss than to look back on days spent in usefulness, in doing good to those around us
(Dorothea Dix Quotes). The same person that said this famous quote started the evolution to a better
path for the imprisoned and the mentally ill in the 1800 s. Dorothea Lynde Dix, a famous Civil War
nurse made a difference in this world by traveling around the world to give back and help the ill and

and prisoners. She gave them a fair chance to live a satisfying life by being a huge part of creating
dozens of new institutions across the United States and in Europe. Dorothea Dix started her change in
the world when she was younger by becoming a teacher. In 1821 Dix opened an academy for wealthy

glorifies Chappell s exaggerated use of satire, but basically mocks many of the racist stereotypes
associated with black people. As with many things of this nature, everyone didn t receive this humor
in the way intended, ultimately bringing light to the delicacy surrounding satire when it applies to
race. Although another intriguing spectrum of this use of satire is apparent when looking at how this

treaded a thin line that the dynamic of race based comedy treads with the ability it has in creating

This is especially prevalent within the companies that own the majority of the market share. While
continuous improvement is necessary on current products, it is also crucial to be bold and thinking
outside of the box.
As mentioned, the common theme across the video game industry has been creating an innovative
product and then simply improving the system over time. While that has been proven to work in
instances in the past, there is a lot to learn from the creation of Nintendo s Wii. Nintendo, like the rest
of the company s used the same ideology of continuing improvements to an already developed product
until they took a bold move of introducing a whole new game console. When Nintendo introduced the
Wii, they took a risk because it was not similar to their previous game consoles. They saw an
opportunity to bring something new to the video game industry that could create value to not only the
originally targeted market, but also a much larger market.
The Nintendo Wii is a prime example of how a company can serve their already targeted market and
also see the opportunity to expand into additional segments. Much of Wii s success was due to the fact
that it appealed to a large audience. Nintendo gained a market advantage as first movers in this new
era of technological and conceptual change in the video game industry. The now enabled users to be

His or her enemy, or adversity, will be a number of things, mainly revolving around worry. They may
worry about if people there will like them, or want to be friends with them, whether or not they will fit

would show that they are not a very strong or confident person. In turn, someone will notice this and
possibly, out of pity, approach them and realize that they are comfortable and they stick around with
them to be polite. However, if that student is the opposite, then maybe they will try out for a team and

Should Car Manufactures Be Able For Sell Directly With...
Should Manufactures be able to sell directly to consumers. Anthony GreenBay Eng 1150 06 Professor
C. Meinhardt November 27, 2016 In this paper, I will be addressing a big topic in the automotive
retail today. This topic is should car manufactures be able to sell directly to consumers. In this paper I
also answer questions like why would a manufacturer want to sell directly to consumer and the
potential causes if they were allowed to sell directly to consumers. I also state why this topic is
important to me. Should Car Manufactures like tesla be able to sell directly to consumers? Today if
you wanted to purchase a new vehicle first you research the type of vehicle you are looking for
whether it was a sports car, minivan, or truck. Then you would go to your local dealership and look at
the vehicle you found and maybe look at all the different trims models, you might even take the car
out on a test drive. Finally, you find that the vehicle you have been looking at is what you are looking
for and decide to purchase it. From there you would talk to a sales person at about price, monthly
pavement interest rates and many other things. All of this is possible because of a dealership. But
should car Manufactures be able skip the middle man the dealership to sell directly to consumers.
Currently in the automotive retail world this is a trending topic. Elon musk owner of the all electric car
company tesla is trying to change the way people buy cars

Brian Mulligan Research Paper
It is no wonder that opera singer Brian Mulligan will soon be fulfilling one of his biggest artistic
dreams when he takes the stage in the title role of San Francisco Opera s production of Sweeney Todd

scene, Mulligan s young career is a refreshing gift to the art community. Having been cast in his first

Benefits Of United States Immigration Reform
U.S Immigration Reform
People are talking about immigration, emigration and the rest of those things. It s all freaking crap!
We re all human beings, we re all mammals, we re all rocks, plants, rivers etc. Borders are just such a
pain in the freaking arse. Shane MacGowan. The U.S immigration should make it easier for people
across the borders to come here because, so many people can come here and make a better living for
themselves. A better living for themselves are basically just living better. Being able to get by not have
to go back to what they use to do. Being grateful that because the U.S immigration made it easier for
them to come here, they are no longer struggling how they use too. I feel like U.S immigration should
make it easier for foreigners to get into the United States because, it can make a better living for
people that come from having nothing. Living on Islands other places across the borders can be hard
them because they don t have everything we have here in the United States. Some people wake up
with nothing could use help with the way they live so that they won t just give up on life. Not
everyone lives great so why not try to help them. If congress purses reasonable requirements for those
wanting to immigrate to America a majority of the American people will support them. ( Beeson)
I also feel like should make it easier so that the people that do come here can help out their families
back home also their country if they want too. Most people that come from over the borders they help
out back home when they get up on their feet in the United States. Just like how we help our families
here when they need things up here. I feel like just whatever we do here other people should be able to
come here and do the same thing. Families who enter our country the right way and play by the rules
watch others flout the rules. ( Obama)
Another reason the U.S immigration should make it easier because, it will not only help them with
jobs it will also help America with people more to work. Most likely people over the borders don t
really have a good job. They people don t even make enough money, they just make enough to get by.
They probably don t even make minimum. I m not

Use Of Performance Enhancing Drugs
The use of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) has been exposed for a while in the world of
professional sports. Media and sports fans, myself included, look unfavorably on the use of PEDs by
professional athletes, the reasons why it s viewed as unfavorable can be attributed to the theory of
symbolic interactionism. Even though there is a large stigma against the use of PEDs the testing
process has largely remained inefficient and not reliable. Performance enhancing drugs should have a
more rigorous screening process because when they are present there is a higher risk of injury, a false
sense of talent which leads to unhappy fans, and an influence on younger athletes wanting to be like
their idol. Steroid use is ever present in the world of professional sports and is making its way down to
the collegiate and high school levels. A large reason that PED use in professional sports is because the
testing process is so poor. Many athletes, including boxing megastar Mike Tyson, have come forward
after their career on their use of PED and even other drugs. Mike admitted to using urine other than
his own to pass the tests. However the existing testing program may have put too much emphasis on
quantity and may have neglected quality. The above mentioned 1.76% of findings is in contrast to
widespread belief that at least 10% of all elite athletes are doping (Maennig, 2014, p. 1202). This
emphasizes the fact that the current tests in place are more worried about testing larger

Mountaintop Mining Is Bad
Mountains, animals, and the environment are what makes Earth beautiful. But horrible things are
destroying the Earth s beauty with mountaintop mining being a prime example. Mountaintop mining is
horrible because it destroys ecosystems and damages biodiversity over an extreme scale. Aquatic life
is literally suffocated by the waste rock thrown into valleys and gorges. For instance, an article by
NASA stated that The waste rock from the mountain is dumped into valleys and pollutes water/stream
beds, causing a decline in aquatic life. The pollution can create genetic mutations in fish and raises the
amount of metal in streams. This affects the wildlife around the streams and humans, too. In fact, the
article Bad Rock: How Mountaintop Removal Mining Can Damage Streams says Many streams are
buried under tens to hundreds of meters of waste rock. The streams that are buried are home to many
different aquatic species, but they are being killed because of the demand for coal. Many streams and
animals are being killed, and it s advancing throughout the land. Too many acres of biodiversity has
been damaged. For example, NASA made an article that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Trains are used to transport goods and supplies. It also provides jobs to those who need them and
brings more money to the industries that collect the coal. However, this claim is invalid because
mountaintop mining destroys ecosystems, which promotes the usage of coal, a fossil fuel that
produces dangerous pollutants. According to Clean Air Kids Air Quality, CO2 (is created when coal is
burned) can combine with fog that makes it difficult for us to breath. CO2 is also a greenhouse gas.
Greenhouse gases contribute to global warming and climate change. Mountaintop mining may help us,

The Causes And Effects Of Animal Abuse In The World
We are living in the world that everybody tries to have a better life. We try to have the comfortable
and convenient life for us. We are watching the circus and using them as the therapy to release stress
and depress. However, we don t know the fact that in order to make the circus become more complete,
they have to take away many animal s freedom. All those things is an example of animal abuse.
Animal abuse is the term that describes all the harmful acts toward animals which are harmed by
people either by intentional or unintentional. Other than our general understanding of animal abuse,
we will go through types of animal abuse, why human should care about it, and what should we do.
When people think of animal abuse, they often think of the video they saw where somebody harms a
dog, cat... In fact, animal abuse comes in many forms. Animal abuse includes eating the animal, circus
animal, producing cosmetic from inside the animal. We eat meat, that s the fact. However, the more
the technology grows, the more we seem to kill the animal in such a violent ways that people always
say: If you let all the kids go to the slaughter house, we will have a whole vegetarian generation. ( Wu
Ji Yiang). Circus or aquariums are also another form of animal abuse. We go there and see all types of
animals doing tricks, we have fun; but to train the animals to do that, they d have to go through a stage
where they are left starving. Trainers use whips, muzzles, tight collars, electric prods,

Columbine Shootings And Its Impact On School Security
Introduction Tuesday April 20th, 1999 began like any other day. Parents went to work, and the
children went off to school. Neither worried about the other, or how their day would turn out. But,
hours later everything changed ( Columbine Highschool Massacre. ). Little did the residents of
Columbine, Colorado know their high school would be a statistic for one of the largest school
massacres in US History. On this day, two teenage boys were responsible for killing 12 innocent
students and a teacher, wounding 23 more students, and then killing themselves (Miller). While a
horrific event, the Columbine tragedy improved the safety in schools by upgrading security systems,
improving administration s knowledge on school security, and increasing ... Show more content on

By this time Klebold and Harris had both taken their life and at least 75 police officers were
surrounding Columbine High School. About two hours later, the SWAT team entered the east side of
the building finding injured victims waiting for assistance. Teacher David Sanders was shot and had
been bleeding for three hours before getting help (Kohn). Sanders was the last of 15 people to die at
Columbine that day. Twenty three wounded were taken to hospitals. Six had brain or spinal injuries.
Several nearly bled to death. Doctors at six hospitals worked on wounded children all through the
night, and saved every one of them. (Kohn). The security during the massacre at Columbine High
School was minimal. Senator Dianne Feinstein said There were two armed law enforcement officers at
that campus, and you see what happened. Fifteen dead ... 23 wounded. There was one officer at
Columbine who was a 15 year veteran of the Jefferson County, Colorado with the name of Deputy
Neil Gardner and another officer, Deputy Paul Smoked, who was a patrolman, both whom were
armed. This is where the debate on how to protect schools began (Terkel). The governor of New
Jersey, Chris Christie, said he doesn t think that having armed police officers at a school will make it
safer or encourage learning. The NRA s top lobbyist, Wayne LaPierre, said, Having armed security on
the scene is necessary so someone is there to shoot back. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a

Names In Charlotte Bronte s Jane Eyre
Significance of the Characters Names Jane Eyre, a gothic themed book, by Charlotte Bronte, is about
a girl named Jane, who lives with her abusive aunt, goes to an orphan school called Lowood, becomes
a governance for a girl named Adele, meets her cousins the rivers, and ended up marring a Mr. Edward
Rochester. This book took place in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. The major
characters being Jane Eyre, Mr. Rochester, St. John, Bertha Mason, Helen Burns, the reeds, and Ms.
Temple. With this in mind, I believe that throughout the book, Charlotte Bronte uses the character s
names, to symbolize the characteristics of the characters. To start off, Charlotte Bronte uses Jane Eyre

Temples name to symbolize that she is a pleasant person. I can infer tis due to Ms. Temples full name
being Maria Temple, Maria being the name of Jesus mother, and temple being a place of worship,
combined showing a sort of pleasant, even sweet atmosphere. First of all, we see this when Hele gives
us a brief description of Ms. Temple, Miss Temple is full of goodness: it pains her to be severe to
anyone, even the worst in the school: she sees my errors, and tells me of them gently: and, if I do
anything worth of praise she gives me my meed liberally (Bronte 67). With this in mind, we can
clearly tell Miss Temples, pleasant nature, as she cares about Helen, correcting her faults just as a
mother would, connecting back to her first name Maria. Moreover, we see her pleasant nature connect
to her last name Temple by a description given by Jan, Miss temple had always something of serenity
in her air, of state in her mien, of refined propriety in her languages... chastened the pleasure looked
on her and listened to her (Bronte 86). For this reason, we see Miss Temples pleasant nature due to her
having serenity, and people who look at her and listen to her, just as people would at a temple, being a
pleasant experience for some. Therefore, Miss Temples name shows her pleasant nature, due to the
actions she takes, and how others view

The Importance Of Expensing R D Expenditure
Some accounting committees and countries prefer expensing the R D expenditure to capitalization,
they concern about the conservatism rule, future economic benefit uncertainty and avoiding profit
manipulated of R D expenditure. However, expensing R D expenditure also cannot perfectly deal with
these problems as they expected. As the rapidly development of technology, especially in high tech
industry, intangible asset take up large number of the overall assets, whether the firm is successful or
not largely relay on these intangible assets, therefore, simple expensing all R D expenditure is
apparently inaccurate. One of the most important factors of expensing R D expenditure is the
uncertainty of R D. The Australian accounting profession s SAC 4 (1992) refers assets as future
economic benefits, which controlled by the entity as result of past transactions or other past events.
And the asset should be recorded in the statement of financial position when the expenditure of the
asset can be measured reliably and the future economic benefit generates from the asset is highly
likely backflow to the company. However, it is impossible of a company to accurately measure how
possibility of a firm can have future economic benefit generated by the asset. Moreover, the loose
concept of control of an asset that is the capacity of the entity to benefit from the asset in the pursuit of
the entity s objectives and to deny or regulate the access of others to that benefit. (Walker and

Comparing The Song Of Creation And The Babylonian Creation...
Creation Myth Paper In this creation myth paper, one can will be comparing The Song of Creation
from the Rig Veda on page 15 in Fiero s The Humanistic Tradition, Book 1, with The Babylonian
Creation myth on page 19 to 20 in Fiero s The Humanistic Tradition, Book 1. The Song of Creation
from the Rig Veda on page 15 originates from India. Meanwhile The Babylonian Creation myth on
page 19 to 20 originated from Babylon. The main differences between these two creation myths is that
the first creation myth is based on the importance of water as the necessary requirement for the
beginning of life. For example, in the Rig Veda, the creation of the world was stated to come from a
watery darkness (Fiero 15). Meanwhile the second myth is more ... Show more content on

The primary source narrates about how back then before the universe was created, there was no
existence, no death or immortality (Fiero 15). It also raises questions about the creation of the universe
such as What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping? (Fiero 15). These shows the uncertainty of
how the universe came to be. Meanwhile in The Babylonian Creation myth, it narrates or tells the
story about not only how the universe was created, but also how the gods entered the world, how the
earth came to be, as well as the creation of Babylon and humans (Fiero 19). In the first myth, the
universe was created when That One which came to be enclosed in nothing, arose at last, born of the
power of heat (Fiero 15). In my opinion, one canthink that back in the time, the people who created
this myth believed in a geocentric view of the universe where Earth was in the center. And that that
One came to be the sun which gave light to the world and allowed the prospering of plants and life.
Some imagery found in this primary source were darkness wrapped in darkness , only illumined water
cosmic waters, in depths unfathomed, (Fiero 15). These forms of imagery depicts or describes what
the universe was like before the that One arose. The order of creation in this myth seems to be that of
the One being in the empty universe before anything else and then when that One arose, he or she
brought heat as well as light in the world which most likely led to the beginning of light in the world
leading to life. In this creation myth, one can feel like the One is the universe or the creation because
according to lines 23, it states The gods themselves are later than creation (Fiero 15). So one can feel
like the universe created the gods not the other way around. In the text, life began with the arrival

Speech On The Mosquito
All these numbers are small in comparison with the deadliest creature in the world. According to
World Health Organization, this creature is responsible for killing more than 1 million people every
year. It is estimated that this creature kills one child every 30 seconds. The deadly bite of this creature
can cause a myriad of diseases. It can cause encephalitis, filariasis, yellow fever, West Nile Virus,
Chikungunya virus, Zika virus, malaria, and dengue fever. By now, you should know which deadly
creature I m talking about. That s right, it s the mosquito.
Now, at one look, you won t see mosquito as scary, right? In fact, if you see a mosquito, you don t run
away but instead, you will chase it down until you kill it. As a Christian, ask yourself, what are the
little things that matter in your life? You may easily spot the crocodiles, sharks, hippopotamuses, and

and they, therefore, avoid them like the plague. But for little sins, they do not worry much about. They

the same consequences as the big sins. But the truth of the matter is that in God s sight, there is no
such thing as little sins or big sins, sin is sin whether big or small and they carry the same consequence
and punishment. The Bible makes it abundantly clear in Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death. . .
In most cases, it is the smallest things that pose the greatest risk in our lives. In the same manner, it is
the little sins in our Christian life that can lead us to spiritual death. These little sins are more
dangerous than the sins we consider as big sins. As Christians, if we allow those sins we term as little
in our lives, they can hinder us from getting to heaven. Most of these little sins come in

  • 5. The Tragedy Hecuba Which Was Written By Euripides Essay Kathleen: Our play was the tragedy Hecuba which was written by Euripides in 424 BC, 7 years after the beginning of the Peloponnesian and Archidamian War which was fought between Athens and Sparta. Euripides was an Athenian who was born around 485BC on the island of Salamis which is off the coast of Piraeus. He competed several times in Athens annual City Dionysia, which, as we know, was a dramatic festival held in honour of Dionysus. This means that the majority of his audience would have been Athenians, like himself. So, just a quick introduction to the play. The key characters are HECUBA who was the Queen of Troy and wife of the Trojan King Priam, THE GHOST OF POLYDORUS who was the son of Hecuba and Priam, POLYXENA who was their daughter, POLYMESTOR who was the King of the Thrace and was also married to Priam s eldest daughter, ODYSSEUS, who as we know was a Greek Homeric hero and AGAMEMNON who was the Greek leader. The story takes place just after the Trojan War while the Greeks are heading home. It begins with the GHOST OF POLYDORUS telling a story of how he was murdered by POLYMESTOR for treasure and his body was thrown into the sea. On their way home, the Greeks with their Trojan prisoners, including HECUBA and POLYXENA, anchor in the same place and must sacrifice Polyxena in order to placate the spirit of Achilles. After her daughter is sacrificed, Hecuba learns of POLYDORUS death, driving her to madness. She knew that POLYMESTOR was the guilty party and with the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This emotion is human nature since humans were primitive because it made humans remember events that negatively affected them, causing feelings such as anger, hate, and hostility toward what caused the problem. In the play The Crucible by Arthur Miller, many circumstances came up that caused strong feelings of pain, irritation, and furry. With the identifying the factors contributing to gun violence, community organizers have come up with strategies that are specifically related to them. The main priority is to completely remove guns from the streets of New Haven. Right now, there are two gun buy back programs in New Haven that are lead by Yale New haven Hospital and the New Haven Police Department (City Wide). The purpose of this program is for people to turn in un registered guns and receive money in return. Some argue that the gun buy back program does not prevent gun violence because they are taking guns from law abiding citizens who would never use them in a crime and do not reach those who are likely to use them in a crime (Cameron). In New Haven, guns in the streets travel from people to people and at some point, it can fall into the hands of a person who is anticipating on shooting someone. That is all that it takes. Gender, Political, And Economic Equality Of The Sexes In the words of the famous Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a feminist is a person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. I believe that though some might argue that ever since women got the right to vote men and women have been equal, it simply is not so and it is evident in so many different aspects, from a parent s desire to abort a fetus when they learn the gender is female to the unequal pay in the U.S. working class between the genders. In all societies men and women have different gender identities assigned to them from birth which include, but are not limited to differences in dress and actions, social responsibilities, and of course job roles. We live in a world where a man is ridiculed for taking his wife s last name or in the case of my mother, the cost of choosing to hyphenate her last name with my fathers is for her to be singled out and marked as a red flag by United States airport security every time she travels. We are systematically ingrained to hold men and women to different standards and roles which then expands into the workforce, creating inequality because in the fight for the same role the men will eventually dominate over the women. The argument, as Descartes presented, does not give a valid reason for the existence of the body or anything else in the physical world, so we cannot accept that bodies exist. Neither does the cogito account for the existence of other minds as that would entail knowledge of the physical world where other things exist. The cogito concept does however; give a valid argument for the existence of the mind or a thinking thing that exists independently of the body. In his novel Think, Blackburn explains the cogito concept as a means of justifying the core of one s existence as thinking, we accept that thought exists not a self (Blackburn, 2001:20). I agree with Blackburn because his [Descartes ] concept serves well to prove that we exist as thinking things and even if we were to discard any a priori or a posteriori knowledge, we can still endorse the cogito. The cogito concept stands regardless of empirical knowledge because it suggests the existence of thought without actually linking it to the body (which constitutes a sort of empirical way of acquiring knowledge through the senses). In addition, it can be accepted without any a priori knowledge since Descartes only introduced it after concluding that he knew nothing, and could only accept knowledge of his own existence as vindicated. • 22. Environmental Consequences Of Offshore Oil Drilling Offshore oil drilling is a controversial topic because when oil spills, it does extensive amounts of damage to the environment. Countries capable of mining oil in the ocean reap the economic benefits in addition to reducing their dependency on external oil. While it is uncontroversial that offshore drilling is a massive boon for those countries, the environmental consequences of a spill also affect the economic welfare of nearby residents. Oil contaminates animals through a process called biomagnification, where chemicals progressively become more detrimental to the animals the higher they are on the food chain. When oil spills into the ocean, it impairs the growth of native species and deteriorates the ecosystem. As a result, the livelihood of people in the tourist industry, fisherman, and shrimpers is crippled and may take decades to recover. Presuming that a country has a coast it can use for drilling, excavating oil from depths of up to a mile is nowhere near effortless. In addition to common oilrig accidents, fires and spills, there are a plethora of problems that oil riggers can encounter including severe weather storms (like hurricanes) and inexperience in the remote oceans depths. Oilrigs are being used even deeper in the ocean creating new environmental and engineering problems. Dr. Joseph A. Pratt of the University of Houston, highlights the problems riggers encountered when drilling for oil in the Canadian sector of the Beaufort Sea; conditions were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 24. Satire In Herman Melville s Moby Dick Satire in Herman Melville s Moby Dick Herman Melville s Moby Dick is a parting from the traditional conception of the Anglo European novel in underlying the idea of the self as opposed to society, or, the human being in contrast to the universe. Many of Melville s themes are typical of American Romanticism: the isolated self and the difficulty of self revelation, the imperfections of human knowledge, the contrast between immorality and virtue, and the pursuit of the truth. Although Melville intended to publish a sort of moral parable, he rejected its unambiguity and one sided interpretation. His animosity towards slavery is evident in Moby Dick he often uses extensive rhetoric to unmask the crimes related to slavery. He is focused not only on the South s persistent justification of slavery but the fact that the majority of society of the time kept their eyes closed to the reality of it. Satire represents a perfect literary mode for illustrating revolutions, mirroring not only the craziness of insurgency but also the moral (d)evolution of Melville s society. Ahab s imaginary struggle with the whale stems from speculations concerning both Melville and America as a nation. Melville created his tale of a mimed and deranged captain in pursuit of revenge against his frightening adversary, the White Whale, parallel to the South s weighing of revolt against the North. By giving the satirical frame to this ideological conflict, Melville tried to unmask the reality, thus casting aside traditional narrative forms that would conceal the truth and cover up for what he thought was one of many major historical inconsistencies: the concurrence of democracy and slavery in America. Accordingly, Melville s claim that Moby Dick was illustrated by his own experience as a harpooner appears rather unseemly, since it is questionable that he ever held a harpoon. The fossil fuels are used and converted into coal, oils, and gasses. The products of fossil fuels are mostly Carbon, which is harmful to the environment, leading to global warming and climate change, and O zone destruction. These conditions cause global temperature increase, ocean acidification, rising sea levels, health problems due to pollution, and the destruction of ecosystems (climate.nasa.gov). Considering these issues, alternative energy sources are something that can be used to help combat harmful fossil fuels and lessen humanity s Carbon footprint (the amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels by a person, group, etc.). There are multiple alternative and renewable energy sources available on the market today. Some of these include: solar panels, geothermal systems, and wind turbines; However, another alternative energy source could be harvesting lightning. Unlike the previous alternative energy sources, lightning can produce large amounts of power in a single strike. A single lightning bolt carries enough energy comparable to the energy stored in 145 liters of petrol (Malavika1, Vishal, p. 23). Although this common notion is technically correct, the wealth is not spread as fairly as people might believe. The United States uses a free market, capitalistic economy, which entails wealth inequality. However, the amount of wealth inequality depends on how the government limits the wealthy. Interestingly enough, the government does not have regulations to distribute the wealth more fairly as the top 1% of earners in the United States own about 40% of the financial wealth in the country and the bottom 80% of earners own a measly 4.7%. Astonishingly, the financial wealth for the top 20% increased from 1983 to 2010 meaning the wealth became more concentrated at the higher socioeconomic tiers as time passed. These economic inequalities benefited the wealthy as they gained political powers, controlled a large portion of the economic market, and used capitalism to manipulate the public s perspective of the wealth distribution in the United States. While wealth inequality is a result of capitalism, extremely wealthy people use their wealth to exercise political power, but the average person does not understand that this is a corrupt method of crippling the economy in favor of the ultra wealthy. If that student encompasses themselves in a fortress of solitude then that would show that they are not a very strong or confident person. In turn, someone will notice this and possibly, out of pity, approach them and realize that they are comfortable and they stick around with them to be polite. However, if that student is the opposite, then maybe they will try out for a team and show off their skills or lack of and the other students will see him or her and praise them for being so assertive and hopefully befriend the new kid after proving that they are very outgoing and easy to get along with. When something is in your way, how you respond to the situation makes you, you. If you have never been put in an uncomfortable position then you will not necessarily know how you would respond, so you do not know that side of yourself. Roman could not have said it any better. Adversity does in fact awaken undeveloped or inactive capacities. To fully understand how you would act under harsh conditions you have to be placed in that situation. Meinhardt November 27, 2016 In this paper, I will be addressing a big topic in the automotive retail today. This topic is should car manufactures be able to sell directly to consumers. In this paper I also answer questions like why would a manufacturer want to sell directly to consumer and the potential causes if they were allowed to sell directly to consumers. I also state why this topic is important to me. Should Car Manufactures like tesla be able to sell directly to consumers? Today if you wanted to purchase a new vehicle first you research the type of vehicle you are looking for whether it was a sports car, minivan, or truck. Then you would go to your local dealership and look at the vehicle you found and maybe look at all the different trims models, you might even take the car out on a test drive. Finally, you find that the vehicle you have been looking at is what you are looking for and decide to purchase it. From there you would talk to a sales person at about price, monthly pavement interest rates and many other things. All of this is possible because of a dealership. But should car Manufactures be able skip the middle man the dealership to sell directly to consumers. Currently in the automotive retail world this is a trending topic. Elon musk owner of the all electric car company tesla is trying to change the way people buy cars ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. Benefits Of United States Immigration Reform U.S Immigration Reform People are talking about immigration, emigration and the rest of those things. It s all freaking crap! We re all human beings, we re all mammals, we re all rocks, plants, rivers etc. Borders are just such a pain in the freaking arse. Shane MacGowan. The U.S immigration should make it easier for people across the borders to come here because, so many people can come here and make a better living for themselves. A better living for themselves are basically just living better. Being able to get by not have to go back to what they use to do. Being grateful that because the U.S immigration made it easier for them to come here, they are no longer struggling how they use too. I feel like U.S immigration should make it easier for foreigners to get into the United States because, it can make a better living for people that come from having nothing. Living on Islands other places across the borders can be hard them because they don t have everything we have here in the United States. Some people wake up with nothing could use help with the way they live so that they won t just give up on life. Not everyone lives great so why not try to help them. If congress purses reasonable requirements for those wanting to immigrate to America a majority of the American people will support them. ( Beeson) I also feel like should make it easier so that the people that do come here can help out their families back home also their country if they want too. Most people that come from over the borders they help out back home when they get up on their feet in the United States. Just like how we help our families here when they need things up here. I feel like just whatever we do here other people should be able to come here and do the same thing. Families who enter our country the right way and play by the rules watch others flout the rules. ( Obama) Another reason the U.S immigration should make it easier because, it will not only help them with jobs it will also help America with people more to work. Most likely people over the borders don t really have a good job. They people don t even make enough money, they just make enough to get by. They probably don t even make minimum. I m not ... • 44. Use Of Performance Enhancing Drugs The use of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) has been exposed for a while in the world of professional sports. Media and sports fans, myself included, look unfavorably on the use of PEDs by professional athletes, the reasons why it s viewed as unfavorable can be attributed to the theory of symbolic interactionism. Even though there is a large stigma against the use of PEDs the testing process has largely remained inefficient and not reliable. Performance enhancing drugs should have a more rigorous screening process because when they are present there is a higher risk of injury, a false sense of talent which leads to unhappy fans, and an influence on younger athletes wanting to be like their idol. Steroid use is ever present in the world of professional sports and is making its way down to the collegiate and high school levels. A large reason that PED use in professional sports is because the testing process is so poor. Many athletes, including boxing megastar Mike Tyson, have come forward after their career on their use of PED and even other drugs. Mike admitted to using urine other than his own to pass the tests. However the existing testing program may have put too much emphasis on quantity and may have neglected quality. The above mentioned 1.76% of findings is in contrast to widespread belief that at least 10% of all elite athletes are doping (Maennig, 2014, p. 1202). This emphasizes the fact that the current tests in place are more worried about testing larger ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

But horrible things are destroying the Earth s beauty with mountaintop mining being a prime example. Mountaintop mining is horrible because it destroys ecosystems and damages biodiversity over an extreme scale. Aquatic life is literally suffocated by the waste rock thrown into valleys and gorges. For instance, an article by NASA stated that The waste rock from the mountain is dumped into valleys and pollutes water/stream beds, causing a decline in aquatic life. The pollution can create genetic mutations in fish and raises the amount of metal in streams. This affects the wildlife around the streams and humans, too. In fact, the article Bad Rock: How Mountaintop Removal Mining Can Damage Streams says Many streams are buried under tens to hundreds of meters of waste rock. The streams that are buried are home to many different aquatic species, but they are being killed because of the demand for coal. I can infer tis due to Ms. Temples full name being Maria Temple, Maria being the name of Jesus mother, and temple being a place of worship, combined showing a sort of pleasant, even sweet atmosphere. First of all, we see this when Hele gives us a brief description of Ms. Temple, Miss Temple is full of goodness: it pains her to be severe to anyone, even the worst in the school: she sees my errors, and tells me of them gently: and, if I do anything worth of praise she gives me my meed liberally (Bronte 67). With this in mind, we can clearly tell Miss Temples, pleasant nature, as she cares about Helen, correcting her faults just as a mother would, connecting back to her first name Maria. Moreover, we see her pleasant nature connect to her last name Temple by a description given by Jan, Miss temple had always something of serenity in her air, of state in her mien, of refined propriety in her languages... chastened the pleasure looked on her and listened to her (Bronte 86). • 49. The Importance Of Expensing R D Expenditure Some accounting committees and countries prefer expensing the R D expenditure to capitalization, they concern about the conservatism rule, future economic benefit uncertainty and avoiding profit manipulated of R D expenditure. However, expensing R D expenditure also cannot perfectly deal with these problems as they expected. As the rapidly development of technology, especially in high tech industry, intangible asset take up large number of the overall assets, whether the firm is successful or not largely relay on these intangible assets, therefore, simple expensing all R D expenditure is apparently inaccurate. One of the most important factors of expensing R D expenditure is the uncertainty of R D. The Australian accounting profession s SAC 4 (1992) refers assets as future economic benefits, which controlled by the entity as result of past transactions or other past events. And the asset should be recorded in the statement of financial position when the expenditure of the asset can be measured reliably and the future economic benefit generates from the asset is highly likely backflow to the company. However, it is impossible of a company to accurately measure how possibility of a firm can have future economic benefit generated by the asset. Moreover, the loose concept of control of an asset that is the capacity of the entity to benefit from the asset in the pursuit of the entity s objectives and to deny or regulate the access of others to that benefit. Creation Myth Paper In this creation myth paper, one can will be comparing The Song of Creation from the Rig Veda on page 15 in Fiero s The Humanistic Tradition, Book 1, with The Babylonian Creation myth on page 19 to 20 in Fiero s The Humanistic Tradition, Book 1. The Song of Creation from the Rig Veda on page 15 originates from India. Meanwhile The Babylonian Creation myth on page 19 to 20 originated from Babylon. The main differences between these two creation myths is that the first creation myth is based on the importance of water as the necessary requirement for the beginning of life. For example, in the Rig Veda, the creation of the world was stated to come from a watery darkness (Fiero 15). Meanwhile the second myth is more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The primary source narrates about how back then before the universe was created, there was no existence, no death or immortality (Fiero 15). It also raises questions about the creation of the universe such as What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping? (Fiero 15). These shows the uncertainty of how the universe came to be. Meanwhile in The Babylonian Creation myth, it narrates or tells the story about not only how the universe was created, but also how the gods entered the world, how the earth came to be, as well as the creation of Babylon and humans (Fiero 19). In the first myth, the universe was created when That One which came to be enclosed in nothing, arose at last, born of the power of heat (Fiero 15). In my opinion, one canthink that back in the time, the people who created this myth believed in a geocentric view of the universe where Earth was in the center. And that that One came to be the sun which gave light to the world and allowed the prospering of plants and life. Some imagery found in this primary source were darkness wrapped in darkness , only illumined water cosmic waters, in depths unfathomed, (Fiero 15). These forms of imagery depicts or describes what the universe was like before the that One arose. The order of creation in this myth seems to be that of the One being in the empty universe before anything else and then when that One arose, he or she brought heat as well as light in the world which most likely led to the beginning of light in the world leading to life. In this creation myth, one can feel like the One is the universe or the creation because according to lines 23, it states The gods themselves are later than creation (Fiero 15). So one can feel like the universe created the gods not the other way around. In the text, life began with the arrival ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
