Differences In Citizen Kane And Pulp Fiction
Throughout the years the film industry has gone through a variety of changes. Films have been
modified to have color, a better picture quality and a greater sound quality. Another thing that has
changed is the differences in the openness and use of graphic scenes in films. Some of these examples
can be seen in films like the (1941) Citizen Kane as well as in the (1994) Pulp Fiction.
One of the differences in Citizen Kane And Pulp Fiction are the differentiating themes and how
liberalism and straightforwardness has changed over time. Citizen Kane, directed by Orson Welles is a
film about a Reporter who is on a mission to solve the last words of a very popular journalist, but,
instead he learns about the complicated personality behind this

Rise And Fall Of The League Of Nations
The League of Nations was an intergovernmental organisation founded on January 10, 1920 as a result
of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the First World War. It was the first international
organization whose principal mission was to maintain world peace. Its primary goals, as stated in its
Covenant, included preventing wars through collective security and disarmament and settling
international disputes through negotiation and arbitration. Other issues in this and related treaties
included labour conditions, just treatment of the native inhabitants, human and drug trafficking, arms
trade, global health, prisoners of war, and the protection of minorities in Europe At its greatest extent
from 28 September 1934 to 23 February, 1935, it had 58 members.( Great Events of the 20th Century
).
The diplomatic philosophy behind the League represented a fundamental shift from the preceding
hundred years. The League lacked its own armed force and depended on the great powers to enforce
its resolutions, keep to its economic sanctions, or provide an army when needed. However, the Great
Powers were often reluctant to do so. Sanctions could hurt League members, so they were reluctant to
comply with them.during the Second Italo Abyssinian war
, when the League accused Italian soldiers of targeting medical tents, Mussolini responded that The
League is very well when sparrows shout, but no good at all when eagles fall out. ( League of Nations

Sodium Chloride Reaction Lab Report
Introduction/Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to find out how gaviscon reacted with different salt
solutions. Sodium Alginate is a compound that forms with the Gaviscon and forms a raft and blocks
all the stomach acid from traveling up the esophagus. Procedure: One gram of the following salts were
measured out, Calcium chloride, Lithium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium
chloride, Strontium chloride, and Copper chloride. Each of the salts were placed into cups and added
to 80 mL of water. Then Gaviscon was individually dropped into each solution. Do this for each salt
solution and record the results. Next, forcefully expel the Gaviscon in a regular steady stream into
each different solution. Record the observations. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The results may have been off due to inaccurate weighing of the measurements of the salts or water to
make the solutions. The results also could have been inaccurate through cross contamination between
mixing the solutions. The four salts mixed with water, Potassium chloride, Lithium chloride, Sodium
chloride, and Magnesium chloride, all dissolved the Gaviscon. Most of the compounds that disperse
the Gaviscon were +1 charged. The three salts mixed with water that solidified the Gaviscon were,
Calcium chloride, Strontium chloride, and Copper chloride. The solutions that did not dissolve the
Gaviscon had a +2 charge. Magnesium chloride was one exception. Magnesium chloride has a +2
charge but had a reaction like a +1 solutions. Magnesium chloride may be different in size which
would cause a different result. It is the smallest one in the group of compounds in this experiment. The
element copper is not talked about often but through observations and results of the experiment copper
is most likely +2 charged. Copper is inferred to be a +2 charge because the other chemical compounds
with +2 charge dissolved the Gaviscon and the Copper chloride dissolved the Gaviscon so it fit in the
category of the solutions with +2 charge group. Something that would have to be seen at microscopic
level is the positive and

Hoot By Carl Hiaasen
Finally Carl Hiaasen makes amazing book Hoot into a movie. The book comes to life with the help of
the actors Logan Lerman played as Roy and Cody Linley played as Mullet Fingers. With the help of
them and other amazing actors they make the movie funny and enjoyable.
Roy Eberhart moves to Florida and on the bus ride to his first day at his new school, Roy saw a boy
running as fast as the bus was moving. Well that very next day Roy s curiosity got the best of him and
he decides to follow the running boy. While all of this was going on there is a new pancake place
opening up, you might think great but the running boy knows what s really going on. So as Roy gets
closer to the boy he learns that if Mother Paula s the pancake house is built

Guns In John Steinbeck s The Grapes Of Wrath
Guns are one of the first things that people turn to, but what they don t know is that it eventually
backfires and changes their future. For example: when Davy shoots Finch and Baska the first thing he
turns to is a gun, not once does he think about talking to them about what s going through their
heads, instead he shoots then and will eventually end up in jail for his actions. Guns are also a symbol
of peace making. He shot them because the Land family was a nice calm family until Finch and Baska
can and stirred everything up, so Davy shot them so PEACE could come once again.
Additionally when Finch and Baska are breaking into the Land family s house Ruben explains: Then
the door handle turned the back door, off the kitchen. I knew that little squeal. How I wanted to be
Davy coming in, smoky and quiet and shaking off water, but Favy was inside already sleeping not five
feet from me, breathing through his nose in satisfied draughts. Nor was it Dad, for I could hear him
too, rolling to the fro in sleep, wrestling his headache. (48) This quote is explaining how ... Show

We didn t see him at first , though he d not worked hard at concealment. He simply picked a spot in
view of the house and shaded from morning sun and sat still. He d even entered the barn and retrieved
an old straight back chair to ease the wait. (299) As Jape is sitting there waiting for his move he sits
there just waiting. Eventually Jape Waltzer shot and he hit Jeremiah in his right side. Jape turned to a
gun first and it his future by putting him on the run from the police again and, it also ruined the land
families future because they don t have a dad now. By turning to a Gun Jape Waltzer made his world

Arctic Ocean Exchange
Ecosystems in the approximate northern part of our planet are subject to profound changes, such as
amplified rise in air temperature following the rapid loss of millions of square kilometers in the Arctic
sea ice (Lawrence et al., 2008; Serreze and Barry, 2011; Screen et al., 2012; Bhatt et al., 2014). This
sea ice induced warming feedback extends from the marine to the terrestrial domain and may
consequently increase the emission of strenuous greenhouse gas methane from high latitude wetland
soils (Parmentier, 2013). An increase in terrestrial methane emissions possible therefore can be
accessible to the sea ice changes occurring easily off within the Arctic Ocean, when sea ice melts and
gives way to an unblocked ocean, an immense lowering ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the study there was a distinct negative correlation between the months of methane fluxes and
sea ice extent throughout the Arctic, indicating elevated methane emissions (Parmentier et al., 2013).
However there was a positive correlation that appeared in the Canadian Archipelago, which indicated
a decrease in methane emissions concurrent with sea ice regression. The difference between regions is
most recognizable from August to October, when it is seen there is an increase in methane emissions.
In absolute terms, emissions are the most elevated in midsummer and much lower start of autumn,
which may restrict the effect of sea ice induced warming (Parmentier et al., 2013). The absolute rise in
emissions was governed by extrapolating the difference in emission trends, the team estimated that
emissions were on average 1.7 Tg CH4 yr 1higher in sea ice affected areas (Parmentier et al., 2013).
This synergy complicates the explanation of a correlation with sea ice during springtime when both
sea ice regress and previous snowmelt could cause a temperature related rise

Ethnocentrism In Walla
In my observation of Walla Walla University I have seen ethnocentrism being a prominent part of the
campus s culture. Ethnocentrism is a commonly used word in circles where ethnicity, inter ethnic
relations, and similar social issues are of concern. The definition of ethnocentrism is the belief that one
s culture and way of life are superior of other groups. This causes judging among different groups and
assumptions that there are inferior groups to your own. The roots of the word are ethnic and centrism,
ethnic means cultural heritage and, centrism means to the central starting point. Put them together and
ethnocentrism basically refers to judging other groups from our own cultural point of view. It s true
we reject those outside our group, our customs, our food, our traditions, our music, our religion, our
beliefs and values. We think that our lifestyle is somehow much better than those of other societies.
The questions I found out through my observation of WWU was why do people do this. I asked some
people if they thought they were ethnocentric and the results showed that most people think that they
are not ethnocentric, but are rather open minded to other cultures. As I will explain in my writing that
this their response isn t true at all and that everyone is ethnocentric. There is no way not to be
ethnocentric and it cannot be avoided. In my project I will cover examples of ethnocentrism in the
Walla Walla University campus, describe the functions and dysfunctions

Link With Dizzy Research Paper
I am open to any sort of Link with Dizzy really, hopefully a positive one though LOL. friends, lovers,
confidants, whatever really, if it goes in a negative way ok but I make no promises for what she does.
The muse does what the muse wants after all.
Dizzy is half Succubus and half Cheshire, her father the original Cheshire tricked her mother. Part of
the reason her mother treats her as she does. I was almost thinking maybe her animal side starts to take
over as she denies who she is and doesn t feed. She actually has a great deal of control up to this point.
Its the only reason she hasn t lost her shit and attacked someone. So maybe she can help Ai with that?
It be a way he could realize how her control has been pushed to the point it is now. She has such a
tight grip on it, when she does lose it...well rather bad. Again she is part animal hehe Thankfully she
doesn t have the charm abilities as Ai does or the school would be in for a hell of a lot of trouble.
Oh I have such ideas for him and Yasmin when she gets approved. She is after all a being of nature,
energy and natural sexuality. Not to mention she runs about the gardens naked or nearly naked most of
the time LOL. I suddenly see a naughty Incubus getting thwack by a bush or something LOL Or

age. As for using his charm on her and something happening there, I would oocly bring Outlawed

character Fallen.
But YAAY for plotting, I m glad you open to ideas and look forward to coming up to something fun.
Let me know if any ideas spark, again I m totally open to ideas and suggestions.

False Ideas Regarding the Extict Dodo Bird
Just less than 64 100 years after its discovery by Europeans, the Dodo bird vanished completely from
existence. Unsurprisingly, this bird has gained the image of a creature that was poorly adapted. The
bulk of the arguments used to support this widespread belief are that Dodos were flightless and
fearless as well as supposedly being fat, stupid, clumsy, and slow. Although these features are seen as
disadvantages, they were actually evolutionary adaptations or are myths. Ultimately, we can not say
the Dodo bird was as poorly adapted as we thought.
The Dodo s lack of flight can be justified as an evolutionary adaptation. Due to its isolation, Mauritius
had its own unique ecosystem that was absent of predators. Without predators, the Dodo had no need
to flee by flying. Dodos did not need to fly to reach its food either. The Dodo s diet consisted mostly
of fruit, nuts and seeds. As there was abundance of this sustenance in Mauritius, flying was
unnecessary as food was fairly accessible. Since there was no need to fly, it would be a waste of
energy and a hindrance for the Dodo and thus, being flightless was an adaptation for the Dodo.
Again, due to lack of predators, the Dodo evolved to become fearless. Seeing as nothing hunted it, it
had no need to flee as the minimal danger in Mauritius did not merit this. In fact, fleeing away when
there was no predator would be a useless expenditure of energy and would only pose to be an
impediment for it. Thus, like flying, the

Cervical Radiculopathy Case Study
Cervical Radiculopathy Cervical radiculopathy is also known as a pinched nerve . In this paper it
discusses the presentation, pathophysiology, differential diagnoses, treatment modalities and patient
education. Presentation Upon observation the patient with cervical radiculopathy usually presents with
a head tilt away from the injury or a stiff neck, active range of motion may also be reduced and
increased pain with lateral bending away from the affected side. The patient upon palpation may have
tenderness along the paraspinal muscles and hypertonicity or spasm of the affected side may occur
(Malanga, 2016). There may also be muscle weakness or numbness down one arm even extending to
the fingertips. Pathophysiology Cervical radiculopathy is usually caused by a ... Show more content

In the cases that the cervical radiculopathy does not improve than a soft neck collar can be used to rest
the neck or a neck pillow at night. Physical therapy may be used and neck traction may be used in
order to reduce the compression of the nerve root. A short burst of oral steroids may be used however
no controlled studies have been done to prove their effectiveness. Dosages of 60mg of oral steroids for
7 days may be used to help alleviate inflammation (Malanga, 2016). To further help reduce
inflammation icing and nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should be used in the initial
phase of treatment. The usual dosage for cervical radiculopathy is Ibuprofen 800mg by mouth three
times daily for the next 10 14 days (Malanga, 2016). There have also been studies showing that
tricyclic antidepressants have helped have an analgesic effect on chronic and neuropathic pain, such as
Elavil or Pamelor (Malanga, 2016). If these treatments still do not give relief then a referral to an
orthopedic surgeon is needed. At that point a steroid injection may be performed or a surgical
intervention may be

What Was The Age Of Exploration Essay
The Age of Exploration was one of the most influential time periods in European history. This period
lasted from the 15th century and to the early 17th century. From explorers like Magellan to Columbus.
The voyages they took had a great impact on society. Though the desire to simply explore the
unknown and discover new knowledge is a typical human trait, the world s famous explorers often
lacked the funding needed for a ship, supplies, and a crew to get underway on their journeys. As a
result, many turned to their respective governments which had their own desires for the exploration of
new areas. Many nations were looking for goods such as silver and gold, but one of the biggest
reasons for exploration was the desire to find a new route for ... Show more content on

Double Strand Breaks
On September 12, 1016, Belmont University graciously allowed Dr. Katherine Friedman from
Vanderbilt University to come and talk to a crowd of students about the tendencies of how
deoxyribose double stranded breaks can during cell replication and the elements required to hopefully
repair this ordeal. She began the session by discussing what chromosomes are composed of and how
they are produced, accompanied by visual and statistical representations. Moving on, she touched on
how double strand breaks are a huge threat to a cell s, an organisms, stability. Correspondingly, she
described what can cause these breaks; chemical factors, as well as inner cell disruptions during
replication that are sometimes hard to remedy. However, she also stated that this breaks can occur on
purpose, mostly in the immune system in efforts to make antibodies.
Dr. Friedman also explained a few of the consequences of improper or unrepaired DSBs can result in
cancer, the loss of heterozygosity, or abnormal gene appearance. In regards to this, she depicted two
important ways that a cell can go about repairing these breaks. One way is ... Show more content on

that double strand breaks can be monitored by inducing a break within cells. Dr. Friedman details that
scientists have gone about this by using a specific, regulated protein that recognizes and chews

The Seven Wonders of Ancient World Essay
There are seven most remarkable structures of ancient times and I m going to write about four out of
the seven. The statue of Zeus, which was created in 432 B.C., by Phidius, the lighthouse Of
Alexandria that was created by Sostratus in 290 B.C. and took 20 years to complete. The Temple of
Artemis at Ephesus that was first created in 800 B.C. by Croesus and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
that was built around 353 and 350 B.C. These are only four out of the seven wonders I will be writing
about who commissioned and created each one of them. How they were built, where they were

The Lighthouse of Alexandria was located in Alexandria, Egypt the Pharos was actually located on the
tiny limestone island that sat in front of the harbor, it was built on the island of Pharos, to help guide
trade ships into the harbor at Alexandria (Woods). The Lighthouse was constructed in 290 BC and
took 20 years to complete, it also was the first lighthouse as well as the tallest building in the world at
the time, except for the Great Pyramid and that is also why it was considered one of the seven
wonders of the ancient world. The Lighthouse stood and used until 2 earthquakes, in 1303 and 1323,
reduced it to rubble. In 1994, underwater archaeologists located some of the remains of the lighthouse
in the Alexandrian Harbor, and more have recently been located using remote imaging. Some remains
of the Pharos were also used in the construction of Fort Qaitbey in the 15th century (Curlee), which
stands on the very same spot today. Cherisiphron commissioned the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus and
also known as the temple of Diana, along with his son Metagenes who were from Crete (Curlee).

the temple was destroyed for good and never to be rebuilt in 401 A.D. By St John Chrysostom, now a

How Does James Bonds Affect Society
Is James Bond the last regular Super Man in the movie industry, or has he always been a redundant
sexual monster and explosion seeker? Throughout the years, the portrayal of James Bond films has
had a positive, yet harmful effect on society. These effects include the way men live through him, the
idea that he s a perfect representation of the cultivation theory, and how he is the magic touch to get
with any woman he wants. James Bond has proved to be a powerful image in the eyes of many. His
masculine approach to every obstacle in his way dropped the jaw of everyone watching. From the

constantly outstanding. Yet, from all the publicity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To begin with, as this may be a surprise, not all men live through James Bond. The idea of constantly
having to fight trained militia, going from explosion to collision, and leaving almost every woman he
meets just doesn t sit right with some men. Even if it s only for two hours, the average length of a
Bond film, the idea isn t for some men. Too add, Bond s character s attitude has changed throughout
the years, as well as the gender norms of men. With the Gay Right movement making a lot of head
way, gender norms aren t as set in stone as they used to be. Even with the media still promoting the
old Bond, he just doesn t have the same wow factor as in the past. Finally, the idea that Bond gets
every girl is slowly dying. Bond s interest in sex suggests a humanity and vulnerability that endangers
him. (Garland, pg. 3) Yes, he still has the amazing body and the sly comments that many women love,
but in recent movies he hasn t had a Pussy Galore or Honey Rider all over him. Also, mot all men are

My Accomplishment Analysis
When most people think of an accomplishment that brought them into adulthood, many would think
of their first job, going to college, or even simply receiving good grades in school. For me, my
accomplishment has been a work in progress for the last six years. Sports have always been a big part
of my life and how I live it. I started running track in 6th grade and have had a strange bond with the
sport ever since. A normal person after running their heart out for 50 seconds around the track would
naturally want to rollover and puke, but it gives me a feeling inside that I can not put into words.

getting stronger and faster. Then spring came and track started up again, and that same number, 48.9
seconds, was posted in the locker room. By the last meet of the year, my personal best was 50
seconds. This may sound impressive to someone who knows where I started, but to me it was a
disappointment because I had missed my goal for the year by a second. Through this disappointment, I
saw how much I had achieved in the last three years and got the extraordinary chance to run in the

How Is Brady Presented In Inherit The Wind
In Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee s Inherit the Wind, Matthew Harrison Brady and Henry

Essay On A Good Man Is Hard To Find
A Leopard Can Change Its Spots: The Misfit s Moral Awakening in O Connor s A Good Man Is Hard
to Find Throughout her short story A Good Man Is Hard to Find, Flannery O Connor exposes the
blatant racism and disjointed practice of religion within her mid twentieth century society. To display
these themes, she presents the grandmother and the Misfit, two exceedingly flawed and immoral
characters. However, being a Catholic writer, O Connor utilizes the Misfit to demonstrate grace s
ability to convert troubled and hateful people through the metamorphosis of their moral conscious.
Despite his initial lack of faith, the Misfit s morality and attitude towards religion are transformed by
the grandmother s graceful epiphany. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, the grandmother s desire to check on the state of the plantation represents her desire to
reminisce fondly about the times when slavery reigned. In the end, her perception alters, and she is
saved from this hatred. When the Misfit is about to kill her, she prays to Jesus, who answers her
prayers by bestowing grace upon her. Such grace transforms the grandmother s perception of reality as
she now says to the Misfit, Why you re one of my babies. You re one of my own children. By
declaring that the Misfit is one of her own, the grandmother realizes the interconnectedness (and,
therefore, the inherent dignity) of all humans. Watching this drastic transformation, the Misfit
observes the power of Christ with his own eyes. Along with visually witnessing divine revelation, the
Misfit also feels its impact. Before the Misfit shoots her, the grandmother reached out and touched
him on the shoulder. Within the Catholic faith, touching another s shoulder traditionally equates to the
transfer of grace between two people. Therefore, the grandma s touching the Misfit s shoulder
signifies the transfer of grace from her to him. Having never felt it before, this grace frightens the
Misfit, causing him to shoot her three times through the chest. Even though he has received grace, the
Misfit exemplifies humans capability to be overwhelmed by their emotions as he sprang back [from
the grandmother s touch] as if a snake

Currently I am a contracted freelance writer at three online companies. I just began being paid for
writing this year. I joined one company in January, one in February, the third in March. They are all
considered content farms . The first two companies work relatively the same, the third is a bit different
in that it it pays in lifetime royalties. I have only wrote five articles for the third company. They have
the most astringent requirements and their articles are all 500 words, in third person, and require
writers to provide sources in the footnotes. The first two companies have you write articles for your
application in order to rate your quality. The first company I contracted with recently upgraded my
writing and I was not aware of it for a while. This action allows me a larger pool of jobs to choose
from.
The first two companies both have pools of categorized jobs a writer may choose from. You may
choose any job at your rating or lower. Unfortunately there s been great upheaval in my personal life
this year and it has greatly affected my on time stats. Thereby making my writer s rating lower than
what I am capable of. I have wrote all my life. Poems, lists, ideas, everything really. I was a very
nervous child and I stuttered and tripped over my tongue constantly however put a pen in my hand and
I can communicate smoothly, eloquently, and get my point across in a clean concise manner. The
ironic part is that I was born left handed with a step

Saturn Essay
Saturn
Saturn is one of the most interesting planets in the solar system. It is the sixth planet in the solar
system, and is most famous for its stunning array of rings. It is a very easy planet to pick out in the sky
because it is one of the brightest lights in the shy. It also has a very faint greenish color that makes it
stand out from the rest of the objects in the sky ( Astronomy for Kids ). Saturn is the second largest
planet in the solar system, Jupiter being the only planet that is bigger. It also has at least eighteen
moons, more than any other planet in the solar system. There have been three voyages to this
extraordinary planet, and one is still in process today. The Pioneer II traveled to Saturn in September
of 1979, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system. Jupiter is the only planet that is larger. The gas
giant is 72 thousand miles in diameter, almost ten times the size of Earth. In spite of its huge size,
though, Saturn weighs very little. It is a very light gas planet. Saturn is the least dense planet in the
solar system so light, in fact, that it would float in water. This planet is mostly composed of hydrogen
and helium, like Jupiter, but it is much less dense. The combination of its light weight and fast rotation
causes Saturn to spread out, or oblate, its center. Since Saturn is a gas planet, it does not have a solid
surface. Spacecraft are unable to land on this type of surface. The clouds that are seen when looking at
Saturn are just the top layer of a very deep layer that covers a center of liquid hydrogen. The clouds
are blown by constant winds that reach speeds up to one thousand miles per hour at the equator of the
planet ( Great Space Place ).
The rings of Saturn are more spectacular than those of any other planet. Although this planet s rings
are very wide, extending from the top of its atmosphere to well beyond the orbits of its closest moons,
they are very thin, measuring no more than a few kilometers (about a mile) in thickness ( Great Space
Place ). The Pioneer 11 flyby made several discoveries about the rings. The rings are made of

Rhetorical Analysis Of Why We Crave Horror Movies
Rhetorical Analysis Essay
Why we crave horror movies?
Introduction:
Why we crave horror movie is a type of mini review written by Stephen King in playboy 1981 in
which he had discussed, various features of the horror movies. Stephen King is an American writer
well famous for writing the horror movies and is popular in the world of literature as Richard
Bachman. In this mini review King had used an ethical approach to delineate the differences between
the some of the horror movies and to highlight certain psychological factors responsible for people s
craving for the horror movies. In this piece of writing, King had spotted certain emotions that become
reason for this psychological drive. Moreover, he by using his straightforward approach ... Show more

There are various reasons due to which people prefer to get this challenging entertainment. Among
them the major reason given by the author and that was logically supported by him was their urge to
express of pacifying their certain innate yet less appreciated emotions such as fear, aggression,
pessimism and anarchy. As these anti civilized emotions are against the status quo of the society and
not get proper expression therefore people like to watch the horror movies. Besides this these horror
movies, also bring some sort of recreation to the audiences, whether it includes enjoying the horrifying
characters of the movie or seeing their pals manic and distressed. The author had used an ethical
approach to differentiate between the movies getting higher ratings compared to others as the former
group is more synchronous with the human natural emotions compared to the latter, which includes

Prevention And Treatment Of Malaria
Cases of malaria are found all over the world, but especially in tropical regions. This disease is very
widespread because people obtain malaria when visiting these areas and then they bring it back to
where they live. Malaria affects millions of people every year, and depending on the case it can be
very serious or easily treated. At the moment there is only one main method that doctors use to treat
malaria, but there are many precautions that can be taken to prevent it from infecting someone. There
is only one way a person can acquire malaria, and that is through a mosquito bite. The mosquito that
can spread malaria has to be of a certain genus and gender. The type that transmits malaria is an
Anopheles mosquito. This kind of mosquito is the only one who can affect humans because anopheles
obtain a parasite when taking in the blood of an affected person. This parasite is called a Plasmodium,
and it grows inside of the mosquito until it reaches its fullest potential. When this occurs, the mosquito
can then infect a person. Also, only female anopheles mosquitoes can transmit malaria. This is because
females need blood to gather nutrients that are necessary to make their eggs, and the males do not
need to do this. In order for a person to attain malaria there is a certain process that occurs. The first
step is that a mosquito bites a person who is already affected with malaria. Because of this the
mosquito now contains malaria and can further transmit it to other humans.

Song Of Myself Transcendentalism
Whitman s poem Song of Myself , this work exemplifies a lot of Transcendentalist themes. First close
reading clue? Myself is in the title of the poem, which hints to us the fact that he uses individualism,
and the individual spirit, is a big theme in the work. He even talks about its worth singing about. But
the poem is also about how we re all connected to one another, and to nature. It s also a poem about
connection and correspondence. We should be true to ourselves, but we should also always be aware
of the bonds that bind us between each other, to nature, to God. Whitman s poem Crossing Brooklyn
Ferry shares a view of how Whitman includes human commerce and industry as a part of nature. You
can think about whether his poetry is

Clathrin-Mediated Endocytosis
1 Clathrin Mediated Endocytosis
In this method, the binding of the virion to host receptors triggers Clathrin mediated endoycytosis. The
virion attachment to the host receptor causes the binding of an adaptor protein to the
receptorcytoplasmic tail. Adaptor proteins bind to clathrin, and the local concentration of adaptor
proteins onthe inside face of the plasma membrane allows clathrin to multimerize to form Clathrin
Coated Pit(CCP). GTPase dynamin pinch off the CCP from the host membrane thereby releasing the
Clathrin Coated Vesicle (CCV). Auxilin and hsc70 release the clathrin basket. The vesicle then
delivers itsviral content to early endosomes. Endosomal carrier vesicles transport contents of early
endosometo late endosome that is near to nucleus. Then, late endosome fuses with lysosome.decrease
in pHis due to vATPase ,which is used to pump out protons into vesicle.
2 Caveolar and Lipid Raft Mediated Endocytosis
In this method, a virus particle bind to the cell surface which by then activates signal
transductionpathways required for pinching off of the vesicle, which then moves within the cytoplasm.
Thenit fuses with the caveosome, which is a larger membranous organelle that contains caveolin.

Archetypal Journey In Tim OBrien s On The Rainy Road
Morals, or a lack thereof, define the character of individuals. As Tim, the protagonist of On the Rainy
Road by Tim O Brien discovers, personal morals are difficult concepts to adhere to when faced with
challenging circumstances. Tim is a young man living in Minnesota, and by his own admission, had
the world dicked...summa cum laude... and a full ride scholarship for grad studies at Harvard (O
Brien). In an unfortunate turn of events, the army drafts Tim to fight in the Vietnam War, something
that he is staunchly against. Due to his beliefs against the war, Tim attempts to leave his home and
move to Canada, eventually coming back to fight after a period of self reflection. Through this
figurative journey , the author uses the fundamental plot archetype of the journey from innocence to
experience to demonstrate how adversity exposes the inherent human flaws in even the best people.
Tim s archetypal journey begins in his home in Minnesota, where his naivety and resultant innocence
are easily apparent through his personal opinions about morality. The archetypal journey typically
consists of five major steps, being; an innocent start in a familiar environment, followed by a descent
into danger and a battle with demons throughout which the hero gains experience, ultimately ending
with a return home (TVDSB). As Tim confesses, he had taken a modest stand against the war ,
however he assumes that the problems of killing and dying did not fall within my special province

From Sandwich Shop to Subway
Subway Report
Subway was founded in 1965 by Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck. The duo opened their first sandwich
shop when DeLuca was only seventeen years old. DeLuca s childhood dream was to become a
prominent doctor. Therefore, he needed to find a way to pay for his medical career. On the other hand,
Peter Buck was a family friend who offered DeLuca the possibility to become business partners. Their
first store was opened in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was called, Pete s Super Submarines. They sold
over three hundred sandwiches on the opening day. The price range for each sandwich was between
forty nine to sixty nine cents. Although they struggled for couple of years they were optimistic. Their
goal at that time was to open over thirty stores in the next ten years. The pair wanted to create a
success image. Later, Fred learned that good customer service, quality food and low prices were
important to stay in business for a long time.
In 1968, the little submarine shop changed their name to the trademark Subway. They made seven
thousand dollars only on that year. However, the duo was too ambitious to settle with that. It was in
1974, and after sixteen stores in Wallingford, Connecticut that Subway grew into a franchise. In this
way, becoming the first franchise in the United States. The mindset of DeLuca and Buck was to allow
the now chain brand, to expand countrywide. But at this point they fell half way short on their original
goal ten years ago. This

The Apple Vs. Samsung War
The Apple vs. Samsung War
This paper will give us an overview of the patent infringement war between the world s two biggest
smartphone makers Apple Inc. and Samsung. For the last three years, these two technology giants
have clashed on a scale unheard of in the history of the business world, their licit war costing more
than a billion dollars and spanning four continents. For the purpose of this paper, I will go back to
where the Apple vs. Samsung saga began, back in April 2011. The main objective of this paper is to
analyze the different types of intellectual property infringements that had been claimed by Apple Inc.

Apple claimed that there were four types of infringements to its protectable intellectual property
1. Some Trade dress infringements on the look and packaging of the iPhone and iPads Trade dress is a
product s physical appearance (size, shape, design, color and feel). It also includes the way it has been
packaged or wrapped, presented, promoted or advertised. Trade dress infringement is basically making
the trade dress of two businesses sufficiently similar, confusing consumers about what they are
buying. To establish a claim for trade dress a business must prove the uniqueness of its product s
appearance.
2. Several Trademark infringements on the iOS system app icons A trademark is a name, design or

s goods from the others .
It can be registered with the state or the federal government which protects the owner from
infringement or copying. When a trademark is used by another person or organization either
substantially or entirely, it gives the owner the right to cause of action against the infringer. In order to
succeed in a trademark infringement action, the owner must show that the use of the mark created
confusion about the origin of the defendant s product. If the owner successfully proves infringement,

Council Of Trent Research Paper
Rose: Hey, what council did you write as the most important to the history of the Catholic Church?
Jasmine: I wrote the Second Vatican Council.
Rose: Really? I chose Council of Trent.
Jasmine: Why?
Rose: Well, I mean typically, Councils and meetings are called by the Pope when new heretic
teachings are told, or a reform is needed, and the Catholic Church must rectify the teachings and
inform the public of the the true meanings.
And, in my opinion, the Council of Trent was obviously one of the most, if not the most important
reformation in the Church history. The Council was held during the mid 16th Century, and dealt with
the increasingly growing, new and radical Protestant Church. The response of the Catholic Church s

Especially since the events of World War I and II, which no longer painted war as an illustrious heroic
thing. It was to address the Churches relation to the modern world.
Originally, the Catholic Church had seen itself as an fortress against the modern world, with many
Popes refusing to leave Vatican city. They believed that religious liberty as a human right and
considered the modern world a horrible place to live. Pope John XXIII had realised that the world had
changed too much in the past century, and the Church would need to change with it. He had wanted to
change the Churches image to something that would understand and accept others.

Essay On Image Classification
Image classification and analysis processes are for digitally identify and classify pixels in the data. It
performed on a multi channel dataset. This process allocate each pixel and image to a particular class

digital classification: Supervised classification predicate the spectral features of training areas are
particular areas of known types of land cover are obtained from the image. Each pixel in picture is

The discontinuities are unexpected changes in intensity of pixel of the image that determine outline of
objects in image. Some classical edge detection techniques involves detecting convolution of the
image with an operator like 2 D filter, where returning intensity zero in uniform regions.
Morphological thinning: It is operation which decreases the binary valued picture regions to lines that
are near the inside skeletons of the ranges. For the most part, for each single picture territory, the lines
of the consequence of the diminishing operation are required to be associated. This aides in gathering
topology and shape in the first picture. Morphological diminishing is usually utilized as a part of the
picture preprocessing stage to help higher degree examination and acknowledgment for applications,
for example, outline understanding, OCR, include discovery, and unique mark investigation.
Morphological diminishing incorporates two operations: dilation and erosion. Dilation is a
morphological operation that uses an organized component (SE) for looking at and explaining the
shapes encased in the information picture i.e. adding pixels to the protest limits. Erosion is an
operation used to expel pixels on protest limits. Hough Transform: This strategy goes for discovering
defective occasions of items encased in a particular class of shapes with the assistance of a voting

Cultural Appropriation Is Inevitable Like Globalization
Into
In the summer people wear flower crowns and get excited for the music festivals that come with the
season. Their hair is in braids and they have henna sticker tattoos on them. Tanned, smiling and
holding hands they head towards the festival s entrance. One could say this is the new version of the
Flower Power era from the nineteen sixties and seventies (). However people continue to make the
same mistake as the generation before, people decorate themselves with culturally significant items,
but they know little about it. 88
Cultural appropriation is inevitable like Globalization The cultural exchanges of ideas, beliefs, and
technology, the greater chance of cultural appropriation. This phenomenon is called globalization.
Cultural appropriation is inevitable, but it can be viewed in a positive perspective instead of the
current negative one. Consider the first time blue jeans became popular in American culture, now
across the global people wear blue jeans and some consider it a major part of American culture (). The
piece of clothing is so synonymous with American culture some countries like North Korea, have
banned the item because the country believes its citizens would start supporting American ideals
instead of wearing blue pants. Or the multinational company of Coke A Cola has marketed its product
across the global but many consumers can identify its products as American goods. Items like blue
jeans, dream catchers and henna can carry a lot of

First Concept Of A Smartphone
The very first concept of a smartphone is said to have been envisioned back in the mid 1970s, but that
idea didn t come into fruition until almost 20 years later when IBM s Simon Personal Communicator
first showed its face in 1992. Simon had a monochrome touchscreen, a stylus, and a charging base
station. When using data, you could expect to charge the phone after about 60 minutes of use (P. 7).
Nokia entered the not yet developed smartphone space in 1996. It released the Nokia 9000
Communicator to the world, a 1.5 inch thick, 397g phone with an outward facing dial pad, navigation
keys, and monochromatic display. Unlike Simon, from the outside, the 9000 Communicator looked
almost like a run of the mill cell phone from 1996 (P. 10). In the early 2000s, Symbian, BlackBerry
OS, Palm OS, and Windows Mobile (then known as PocketPC 2000) became increasingly popular.
With capabilities such as email, fax, Web browsing, and other enterprise centric features, so did form
factors that catered to such use cases. Between 2000 and 2006, cell phone manufacturers eagerly
explored dozens of different form factors to capitalize on the new mobile functionality. Sliding and
flipping keyboards, rotating displays, wafer style phones with displays positioned above permanent,
vertical keyboards, and even phones with multiple keyboards abounded. Resistive touchscreen
displays found their way onto smartphones, and the popularity of the stylus was born, almost out of
sheer need as these early model

  • 2. Differences In Citizen Kane And Pulp Fiction Throughout the years the film industry has gone through a variety of changes. Films have been modified to have color, a better picture quality and a greater sound quality. Another thing that has changed is the differences in the openness and use of graphic scenes in films. Some of these examples can be seen in films like the (1941) Citizen Kane as well as in the (1994) Pulp Fiction. One of the differences in Citizen Kane And Pulp Fiction are the differentiating themes and how liberalism and straightforwardness has changed over time. Citizen Kane, directed by Orson Welles is a film about a Reporter who is on a mission to solve the last words of a very popular journalist, but, instead he learns about the complicated personality behind this ... • 3. Rise And Fall Of The League Of Nations The League of Nations was an intergovernmental organisation founded on January 10, 1920 as a result of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the First World War. It was the first international organization whose principal mission was to maintain world peace. Its primary goals, as stated in its Covenant, included preventing wars through collective security and disarmament and settling international disputes through negotiation and arbitration. Other issues in this and related treaties included labour conditions, just treatment of the native inhabitants, human and drug trafficking, arms trade, global health, prisoners of war, and the protection of minorities in Europe At its greatest extent from 28 September 1934 to 23 February, 1935, it had 58 members.( Great Events of the 20th Century ). The diplomatic philosophy behind the League represented a fundamental shift from the preceding hundred years. The League lacked its own armed force and depended on the great powers to enforce its resolutions, keep to its economic sanctions, or provide an army when needed. However, the Great Powers were often reluctant to do so. Sanctions could hurt League members, so they were reluctant to comply with them.during the Second Italo Abyssinian war , when the League accused Italian soldiers of targeting medical tents, Mussolini responded that The League is very well when sparrows shout, but no good at all when eagles fall out. • 4. Sodium Chloride Reaction Lab Report Introduction/Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to find out how gaviscon reacted with different salt solutions. Sodium Alginate is a compound that forms with the Gaviscon and forms a raft and blocks all the stomach acid from traveling up the esophagus. Procedure: One gram of the following salts were measured out, Calcium chloride, Lithium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium chloride, Strontium chloride, and Copper chloride. Each of the salts were placed into cups and added to 80 mL of water. Then Gaviscon was individually dropped into each solution. Do this for each salt solution and record the results. Next, forcefully expel the Gaviscon in a regular steady stream into each different solution. Record the observations. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The results may have been off due to inaccurate weighing of the measurements of the salts or water to make the solutions. The results also could have been inaccurate through cross contamination between mixing the solutions. The four salts mixed with water, Potassium chloride, Lithium chloride, Sodium chloride, and Magnesium chloride, all dissolved the Gaviscon. Most of the compounds that disperse the Gaviscon were +1 charged. The three salts mixed with water that solidified the Gaviscon were, Calcium chloride, Strontium chloride, and Copper chloride. The solutions that did not dissolve the Gaviscon had a +2 charge. Magnesium chloride was one exception. Magnesium chloride has a +2 charge but had a reaction like a +1 solutions. Magnesium chloride may be different in size which would cause a different result. It is the smallest one in the group of compounds in this experiment. The element copper is not talked about often but through observations and results of the experiment copper is most likely +2 charged. Copper is inferred to be a +2 charge because the other chemical compounds with +2 charge dissolved the Gaviscon and the Copper chloride dissolved the Gaviscon so it fit in the category of the solutions with +2 charge group. Something that would have to be seen at microscopic level is the positive and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The book comes to life with the help of the actors Logan Lerman played as Roy and Cody Linley played as Mullet Fingers. With the help of them and other amazing actors they make the movie funny and enjoyable. Roy Eberhart moves to Florida and on the bus ride to his first day at his new school, Roy saw a boy running as fast as the bus was moving. Well that very next day Roy s curiosity got the best of him and he decides to follow the running boy. While all of this was going on there is a new pancake place opening up, you might think great but the running boy knows what s really going on. • 6. Guns In John Steinbeck s The Grapes Of Wrath Guns are one of the first things that people turn to, but what they don t know is that it eventually backfires and changes their future. For example: when Davy shoots Finch and Baska the first thing he turns to is a gun, not once does he think about talking to them about what s going through their heads, instead he shoots then and will eventually end up in jail for his actions. Guns are also a symbol of peace making. He shot them because the Land family was a nice calm family until Finch and Baska can and stirred everything up, so Davy shot them so PEACE could come once again. Additionally when Finch and Baska are breaking into the Land family s house Ruben explains: Then the door handle turned the back door, off the kitchen. I knew that little squeal. How I wanted to be Davy coming in, smoky and quiet and shaking off water, but Favy was inside already sleeping not five feet from me, breathing through his nose in satisfied draughts. Nor was it Dad, for I could hear him too, rolling to the fro in sleep, wrestling his headache. (48) This quote is explaining how ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 7. Arctic Ocean Exchange Ecosystems in the approximate northern part of our planet are subject to profound changes, such as amplified rise in air temperature following the rapid loss of millions of square kilometers in the Arctic sea ice (Lawrence et al., 2008; Serreze and Barry, 2011; Screen et al., 2012; Bhatt et al., 2014). This sea ice induced warming feedback extends from the marine to the terrestrial domain and may consequently increase the emission of strenuous greenhouse gas methane from high latitude wetland soils (Parmentier, 2013). An increase in terrestrial methane emissions possible therefore can be accessible to the sea ice changes occurring easily off within the Arctic Ocean, when sea ice melts and gives way to an unblocked ocean, an immense lowering ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During the study there was a distinct negative correlation between the months of methane fluxes and sea ice extent throughout the Arctic, indicating elevated methane emissions (Parmentier et al., 2013). However there was a positive correlation that appeared in the Canadian Archipelago, which indicated a decrease in methane emissions concurrent with sea ice regression. The difference between regions is most recognizable from August to October, when it is seen there is an increase in methane emissions. In absolute terms, emissions are the most elevated in midsummer and much lower start of autumn, which may restrict the effect of sea ice induced warming (Parmentier et al., 2013). The absolute rise in emissions was governed by extrapolating the difference in emission trends, the team estimated that emissions were on average 1.7 Tg CH4 yr 1higher in sea ice affected areas (Parmentier et al., 2013). This synergy complicates the explanation of a correlation with sea ice during springtime when both sea ice regress and previous snowmelt could cause a temperature related rise ... • 8. Ethnocentrism In Walla In my observation of Walla Walla University I have seen ethnocentrism being a prominent part of the campus s culture. Ethnocentrism is a commonly used word in circles where ethnicity, inter ethnic relations, and similar social issues are of concern. The definition of ethnocentrism is the belief that one s culture and way of life are superior of other groups. This causes judging among different groups and assumptions that there are inferior groups to your own. The roots of the word are ethnic and centrism, ethnic means cultural heritage and, centrism means to the central starting point. Put them together and ethnocentrism basically refers to judging other groups from our own cultural point of view. It s true we reject those outside our group, our customs, our food, our traditions, our music, our religion, our beliefs and values. We think that our lifestyle is somehow much better than those of other societies. The questions I found out through my observation of WWU was why do people do this. I asked some people if they thought they were ethnocentric and the results showed that most people think that they are not ethnocentric, but are rather open minded to other cultures. As I will explain in my writing that this their response isn t true at all and that everyone is ethnocentric. There is no way not to be ethnocentric and it cannot be avoided. In my project I will cover examples of ethnocentrism in the Walla Walla University campus, describe the functions and dysfunctions ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The muse does what the muse wants after all. Dizzy is half Succubus and half Cheshire, her father the original Cheshire tricked her mother. Part of the reason her mother treats her as she does. I was almost thinking maybe her animal side starts to take over as she denies who she is and doesn t feed. She actually has a great deal of control up to this point. Its the only reason she hasn t lost her shit and attacked someone. So maybe she can help Ai with that? It be a way he could realize how her control has been pushed to the point it is now. She has such a tight grip on it, when she does lose it...well rather bad. Again she is part animal hehe Thankfully she doesn t have the charm abilities as Ai does or the school would be in for a hell of a lot of trouble. • 10. False Ideas Regarding the Extict Dodo Bird Just less than 64 100 years after its discovery by Europeans, the Dodo bird vanished completely from existence. Unsurprisingly, this bird has gained the image of a creature that was poorly adapted. The bulk of the arguments used to support this widespread belief are that Dodos were flightless and fearless as well as supposedly being fat, stupid, clumsy, and slow. Although these features are seen as disadvantages, they were actually evolutionary adaptations or are myths. Ultimately, we can not say the Dodo bird was as poorly adapted as we thought. The Dodo s lack of flight can be justified as an evolutionary adaptation. Due to its isolation, Mauritius had its own unique ecosystem that was absent of predators. Without predators, the Dodo had no need to flee by flying. Dodos did not need to fly to reach its food either. The Dodo s diet consisted mostly of fruit, nuts and seeds. As there was abundance of this sustenance in Mauritius, flying was unnecessary as food was fairly accessible. Since there was no need to fly, it would be a waste of energy and a hindrance for the Dodo and thus, being flightless was an adaptation for the Dodo. Again, due to lack of predators, the Dodo evolved to become fearless. Seeing as nothing hunted it, it had no need to flee as the minimal danger in Mauritius did not merit this. In fact, fleeing away when there was no predator would be a useless expenditure of energy and would only pose to be an impediment for it. Thus, like flying, the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Though the desire to simply explore the unknown and discover new knowledge is a typical human trait, the world s famous explorers often lacked the funding needed for a ship, supplies, and a crew to get underway on their journeys. Double Strand Breaks On September 12, 1016, Belmont University graciously allowed Dr. Katherine Friedman from Vanderbilt University to come and talk to a crowd of students about the tendencies of how deoxyribose double stranded breaks can during cell replication and the elements required to hopefully repair this ordeal. She began the session by discussing what chromosomes are composed of and how they are produced, accompanied by visual and statistical representations. Moving on, she touched on how double strand breaks are a huge threat to a cell s, an organisms, stability. Correspondingly, she described what can cause these breaks; chemical factors, as well as inner cell disruptions during replication that are sometimes hard to remedy. However, she also stated that this breaks can occur on purpose, mostly in the immune system in efforts to make antibodies. For me, my accomplishment has been a work in progress for the last six years. Sports have always been a big part of my life and how I live it. I started running track in 6th grade and have had a strange bond with the sport ever since. A normal person after running their heart out for 50 seconds around the track would naturally want to rollover and puke, but it gives me a feeling inside that I can not put into words. When I first started running track in 6th grade, my times for the 400 meter dash were just over a minute long. Moving on to freshman year I decided ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Things had changed from a year ago and personally I thought I could beat the record by putting in the time even when track wasn t in season. Even though my mind thought I could beat the record, it stayed to myself so no one knew about my ridiculous dream. As junior year started, I could see myself getting stronger and faster. Then spring came and track started up again, and that same number, 48.9 seconds, was posted in the locker room. By the last meet of the year, my personal best was 50 seconds. This may sound impressive to someone who knows where I started, but to me it was a disappointment because I had missed my goal for the year by a second. Through this disappointment, I saw how much I had achieved in the last three years and got the extraordinary chance to run in the Nebraska State Track meet on our team s 4x400 relay. The accomplishments I have slowly achieved over the last three years have showed me that if you work hard enough at a goal, you can achieve it with time. I have one last season of running track and I will give my all to have my name posted on the board so for years to come other kids trying to become something have a goal they can ... Lee s Inherit the Wind, Matthew Harrison Brady and Henry Drummond tolerate each other when they see the bigger picture. Inherit the wind tells the story of Tennessee school teacher Bertram Cates, who is on trial for violating the Butler Act, a state law that prohibits public school teachers from teaching evolution instead of creationism. Matthew Harrison Brady, a prominent politician, lawyer, and three time presidential leader, Joins the district attorney in the prosecution of Ben Cates. He has also been called The Great Commoner because of his exceptional ability to connect and speak to the common American. After Brady has arrived in town for the trial, E.K. Essay On A Good Man Is Hard To Find A Leopard Can Change Its Spots: The Misfit s Moral Awakening in O Connor s A Good Man Is Hard to Find Throughout her short story A Good Man Is Hard to Find, Flannery O Connor exposes the blatant racism and disjointed practice of religion within her mid twentieth century society. To display these themes, she presents the grandmother and the Misfit, two exceedingly flawed and immoral characters. However, being a Catholic writer, O Connor utilizes the Misfit to demonstrate grace s ability to convert troubled and hateful people through the metamorphosis of their moral conscious. Despite his initial lack of faith, the Misfit s morality and attitude towards religion are transformed by the grandmother s graceful epiphany. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Therefore, the grandmother s desire to check on the state of the plantation represents her desire to reminisce fondly about the times when slavery reigned. In the end, her perception alters, and she is saved from this hatred. When the Misfit is about to kill her, she prays to Jesus, who answers her prayers by bestowing grace upon her. Such grace transforms the grandmother s perception of reality as she now says to the Misfit, Why you re one of my babies. You re one of my own children. By declaring that the Misfit is one of her own, the grandmother realizes the interconnectedness (and, therefore, the inherent dignity) of all humans. Watching this drastic transformation, the Misfit observes the power of Christ with his own eyes. Along with visually witnessing divine revelation, the Misfit also feels its impact. Before the Misfit shoots her, the grandmother reached out and touched him on the shoulder. Within the Catholic faith, touching another s shoulder traditionally equates to the transfer of grace between two people. Therefore, the grandma s touching the Misfit s shoulder signifies the transfer of grace from her to him. Having never felt it before, this grace frightens the Misfit, causing him to shoot her three times through the chest. Even though he has received grace, the Misfit exemplifies humans capability to be overwhelmed by their emotions as he sprang back [from the grandmother s touch] as if a snake ... This planet is mostly composed of hydrogen and helium, like Jupiter, but it is much less dense. The combination of its light weight and fast rotation causes Saturn to spread out, or oblate, its center. Since Saturn is a gas planet, it does not have a solid surface. Spacecraft are unable to land on this type of surface. The clouds that are seen when looking at Saturn are just the top layer of a very deep layer that covers a center of liquid hydrogen. The clouds are blown by constant winds that reach speeds up to one thousand miles per hour at the equator of the planet ( Great Space Place ). The rings of Saturn are more spectacular than those of any other planet. • 25. Prevention And Treatment Of Malaria Cases of malaria are found all over the world, but especially in tropical regions. This disease is very widespread because people obtain malaria when visiting these areas and then they bring it back to where they live. Malaria affects millions of people every year, and depending on the case it can be very serious or easily treated. At the moment there is only one main method that doctors use to treat malaria, but there are many precautions that can be taken to prevent it from infecting someone. There is only one way a person can acquire malaria, and that is through a mosquito bite. The mosquito that can spread malaria has to be of a certain genus and gender. The type that transmits malaria is an Anopheles mosquito. This kind of mosquito is the only one who can affect humans because anopheles obtain a parasite when taking in the blood of an affected person. This parasite is called a Plasmodium, and it grows inside of the mosquito until it reaches its fullest potential. When this occurs, the mosquito can then infect a person. Also, only female anopheles mosquitoes can transmit malaria. This is because females need blood to gather nutrients that are necessary to make their eggs, and the males do not need to do this. In order for a person to attain malaria there is a certain process that occurs. The first step is that a mosquito bites a person who is already affected with malaria. Because of this the mosquito now contains malaria and can further transmit it to other humans. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Clathrin-Mediated Endocytosis 1 Clathrin Mediated Endocytosis In this method, the binding of the virion to host receptors triggers Clathrin mediated endoycytosis. The virion attachment to the host receptor causes the binding of an adaptor protein to the receptorcytoplasmic tail. Adaptor proteins bind to clathrin, and the local concentration of adaptor proteins onthe inside face of the plasma membrane allows clathrin to multimerize to form Clathrin Coated Pit(CCP). GTPase dynamin pinch off the CCP from the host membrane thereby releasing the Clathrin Coated Vesicle (CCV). Auxilin and hsc70 release the clathrin basket. The vesicle then delivers itsviral content to early endosomes. Endosomal carrier vesicles transport contents of early endosometo late endosome that is near to nucleus. Then, late endosome fuses with lysosome.decrease in pHis due to vATPase ,which is used to pump out protons into vesicle. 2 Caveolar and Lipid Raft Mediated Endocytosis In this method, a virus particle bind to the cell surface which by then activates signal transductionpathways required for pinching off of the vesicle, which then moves within the cytoplasm. First Concept Of A Smartphone The very first concept of a smartphone is said to have been envisioned back in the mid 1970s, but that idea didn t come into fruition until almost 20 years later when IBM s Simon Personal Communicator first showed its face in 1992. Simon had a monochrome touchscreen, a stylus, and a charging base station. When using data, you could expect to charge the phone after about 60 minutes of use (P. 7).
