for its poetic style and language as well. This psalm is a lyrical one with plenty of emotion and literary
figures. The latter ranges from similes to parallelism and everything in between, all accumulating to
form the psalm s meaning. To begin with, I will point out that the psalm is told through first person
point of view. The speaker or persona is present throughout the entire psalm, using I and my to
describe his thoughts, feelings, and memories. One instance is in the beginning stanza where he asks
himself, [when] shall I come and behold the face of God? (Ps. 42.2). Already this tells the reader that
this will be a very personal psalm, allowing insight into the speaker s mind. The speaker is filled with
anguish, but also strongly desires God s presence in his life. The setting of this psalm takes place in
both the past and present. In the past, the speaker mentions how I went with the throng and led them in
procession to the house of God (Ps.42.4). The footnotes provide information about how the speaker

George August Escoffier, later known simply as Auguste Escoffier, was born on October 28, 1846, in
the small village of Villeneuve Loubet, near Nice, in the Provence region of France. Among the key
figures in his life was his father, who worked primarily as a blacksmith, yet also cultivated tobacco
plants. His grandmother, an enthusiastic cook, was perhaps more responsible than anyone for instilling

During that trip I purchased several cook books, one of which was Le Guide Culinaire. It was in that
book that we found most of the recipes for Bouchon s first menu. I have always been drawn to

Congenital heart diseases (CHD) are defects in the heart that are present from birth and affect 8 in
every 1,000 newborns each year (National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, 2011). Hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most common congenital disease of the heart (O Hanlon and Pennell,
2009) and the most common cause of sudden cardiac death (SCD) among apparently healthy athletes
and younger generations (Maron, 1995; Maron and Maron, 2013). HCM is a condition in which there
is abnormal thickening of the myocardium in the left ventricle (LV), also know as left ventricular
hypertrophy (LVH), where the heart is not dilated and there is no other systemic or cardiac cause
(Maron et al 2003; Maron et al 2006). Although many patients are asymptomatic to HCM, some
patient s will present with, or develop progressive exercise intolerance, heart failure symptoms and
SCD (Keren et al 2008).
The prevalence of HCM worldwide is 1:500 making it the most common heritable congenital heart
disorder (O Hanlon, 2010). Annual mortality rates for presenting patient s range from 1% within the
general community, to 3 6% from tertiary referral centres (Noureldin et al, 2012). This range is most
likely due to the fact that tertiary centres are specialist centres, and patients suspected to have HCM
would be referred straight to a tertiary centre. There is currently no evidence to suggest that incidence

Throughout this book you constantly hear of the idea of how we make snap judgements of everything

charge of the destruction, despite the fact that he claimed innocence. Instead, they thought Alex

The British Association of Social Workers (BASWA) Professional Capability Framework (PCFD),
social workers are required to demonstrate and understand psychology and sociology theory applied in
practice. The family observation reflections were an opportunity to reflect on the theories that I could
identify during the family observation (See Appendix A; BASW, 2013).
Department of Education (2014) published knowledge and skills for children and family social work
which identifies the skills and ability for children and family social worker. This document suggests
that social worker should recognise theory covering the following areas: physical, cognitive, social,
emotional and behavioural development over a life span. Social workers should also be able to
understand that normative development on and individual based on each child depending on genetic
factor, health and disability as an example (ibid).

Nuclear Power in the Soviet Union
The Soviet Union, after World War II, had begun building many facilities for nuclear reprocessing
using many radioactive components. The Russian government, being behind in the nuclear era,
decided they needed to move quickly and start producing a sustainable nuclear chain reaction with
secrecy. One of these facilities they built was so discreet it wasn t on any official maps at that time. In
the town of Ozyorsk, Russia they built the Mayak nuclear fuel processing complex. This particular
accident has been titled and associated with Kryshtym because that was the closest town on an official
map that they could categorize it with. They built this complex between 1945 and 1948 to produce
plutonium for nuclear weapons. Since they had to move fast at building this complex, as well as poor
understanding or little education of nuclear safety, and major disregards for human wellness, the
systems were poorly built. They used what is called an open cycle cooling system, in which they
pumped the water back and forth into their water source. Their main water source was Lake Karachay,
as well as the Tech River. All 6 reactors that the Mayak nuclear complex had used the open cycle
cooling system. They used huge lids weighing 160 tons for the tops of these radioactive components
and systems, and even had them buried 8.2 meters (27 feet) under ground. With these cooling systems
being built with the eager notion to be ahead in the nuclear era, they weren t prepared for any kind of

This was relevant to my paper in answering the question of why there are certain expectations of
women in television news. The textbook, Gender, Race and Class in Media had a few chapters
relevant to my paper. Larry Gross wrote a chapter titled, Out of the
Mainstream: Sexual Minorities and Mass Media. He discussed various stereotypes in our society that
lead to stereotypes in all areas of our lives. I found some of my sources from Oasis, and also used a
couple of magazine articles that were relevant to the subject. I focused on the questions that I wanted
