Examples Of Perseverance In The Miracle Worker
I [Annie Sullivan] know the education of this child [Helen Keller] will be the distinguishing event of
my life, if I have the brains and perseverance to accomplish it . Annie Sullivan was at first looked
down upon by her student, Helen Keller s family. They would tell Sullivan that there was no hope in
teaching Keller a blind and deaf child to properly behave and communicate. Although Sullivan faced
many obstacles while attempting to teach Keller the meaning of language, she was able to triumph
over Keller s handicaps. The non fiction drama titled The Miracle Worker written by William Gibson
depicted the methods that Sullivan utilized to educate Helen on how to behave and converse with
others. The drama expressed that for one to succeed in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Helen has been a spoiled child for her entire life especially because her parents often give her
whatever she long for to distract Helen from disturbing them. When Helen is taking food from her
family s plates during breakfast, Annie stops her and demands that she is left alone with the child in
order to teach her how to properly eat. Before Annie is able to teach Helen how to sit down and have a
proper meal, she makes Helen sit in a chair so Annie can eat her breakfast without Helen groping for
her plate. However, Helen persists and keeps going for Annie s food instead of her own. To stop this,
Annie must force utensils into Helen s hands and have her eat from her own plate, rather than one of
her family s. Annie is eventually able to get Helen to eat her own food. The drama shows, HELEN
swallows involuntarily... ANNIE forced her palm open , throws four swift letters into it, then another
four, and bows toward her with devastating pleasantness. Good Girl (Gibson 523). Since Helen had
never been taught how to properly sit down at a table and eat with manners, this task was cumbersome
for Annie. She was able to get Helen to swallow her food and fold a napkin which Helen s mother,
Kate, emphasised. When Helen s father, Captain Keller, would talk about how Annie was making no
progress and only ruining the child, she would bring up that Annie had gotten Helen to fold her napkin
for the first time. Despite Helen persisting to get her way and the Keller family not approving of Annie
s teaching methods, Annie was able to teach Helen a lot more than what she knew before tutoring had

The Different Development of the New England, Southern,...
The Different Development of the New England, Southern, and Middle Colonies America was a place
for dreams and new beginnings, until white people arrived in 1607. Three groups sailed over the
treacherous Atlantic from their cruel lives in England to set up peaceful religious colonies. The only
problem is that they attempted to settle in their own way and all failed dismally. The New England,
Middle and Southern Colonies grew differently over the period 1619 1760.Examining the three sets of
colonies will prove that they were all different: socially, economically, politically but not
philosophically. Socially the three groups of colonies developed differently. The New England
Colonies life was dominated by the Puritan religion. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The three colonies all wanted to make money but they had to go about it in different ways. This was
mainly due to what they had available. The New England Colonies were mainly agricultural farmers.
With all the water reservoirs like Cape Cod there were plenty of fish so lots of people became
fishermen. There were a lot of lumberjacks to cut down trees and export them to England. The Middle
Colonies were extremely different because they set up extensive cosmopolitan cities reminiscent of
New York. They had many specialists like doctors, lawyers, accountants, and teachers. They traded a
lot with in North America and occasionally overseas. The Southern Colonies primarily depended on
cotton and tobacco plantations. As the plantations grew they had to employ black slaves. The
plantations were fully self contained with their own blacksmith, teachers and professionals. So there
were no big cities or towns. The main plantations traded directly with Europe via the Mississippi. The
three colonies all made money differently with their diverse professions and traders. The three
colonies all had comparable similarities, as they were all democratic. But they ran their democratic
government differently. For instance the New England Colonies was a Theocracy, which meant that
the church controlled the government. The Middle Colonies had their church and government
separate. The Southern Colonies were the most inequitable as they were an Oligarchy. This meant

Theories of Aggression Essay
Theories of Aggression
Two Gunman at Colorado School Reportedly Kill Up to 23 Before Dying in a Siege. On Tuesday,
April 20, 1999, two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, of Columbine High School, shocked the
nation when they entered the school armed with guns and explosives, killing fellow students and a
teacher before taking their own lives. Stories of random violence and aggression such as this all too
often plague the media. While the attention of the nation has recently been focused on the Colorado
slayings, history reveals countless other similar crimes of aggression targeted towards innocent
individuals. In both Nazi Germany and the more recent Bosnia conflict, ethnic cleansing has been
used to violently eliminate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thus, the repression of such libidinal urges is displayed as aggression. As an example of the
expression of aggression as explained by Freud, let us consider his work on childhood aggression, and
the Oedipus Complex. A boy around age five begins to develop an intense sexual desire for his
mother. He has come to regard her as the provider of food and love and thus wants to pursue an
intimate, close relationship. The desire for his mother causes the boy to reject and display aggression
toward his father. The father is viewed as a competitive rival and the goal they both try to attain is the
mother s affection (1). Thus, an internal conflict arises in the young boy. On one hand, he loves his
father, but on the other, he wants him to essentially disappear , so that he can form an intimate
relationship with his mother. A boy will develop an immense feeling of guilt over this tumultuous
conflict and come to recognize the superiority of his father because of his size. This evokes fear in the
boy and he will believe that by pursuing his mother s affection his father will want to hurt him,
essentially castrate him (1). To resolve the conflict, the boy learns to reject his mother as a love object
and will eventually identify with his father. Thus, he has come to understand that an intimate
relationship with his mother is essentially inappropriate.
Freud also developed the female Oedipal Complex, later named the Electra

How The Water Temperature Will Be Increased When It...
1.2 Aims
According to the flat plate collectors that were install on houses in Cyprus, the aim of this investigate
project is to produce several different ideas of how the water temperature will be increased when it
exiting a pipe of the collector. Also some tests will be made in computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
software to come across with the best idea and an efficiency curve will be generated.
1.3 Objectives To learn how to use Solidworks in 3D To understand and find out how Computational
Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code(ANSYS/Fluent) works To understand the theory of solar thermal
collectors To develop the heat losses and the efficiency of each modified pipe
1.4 Project Methodology
From the mentioned aim, to plot an efficiency curve of a modified flat plate collector pipe some steps
should be made to achieve the aim: Review and analyse the existing technology, R D specifications
and new trends from reading journals, websites and text books
Find several modification ideas of flat plate collector pipes of how the temperature of water will rise
more easily in a single pipe
The ideas will be incorporated into design using Solidworks (Soliworks student edition 2014)
Test the modified pipes using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code (ANSYS/Fluent)
Find the difference of the input temperature and the output temperature of each modified pipe
Table will made to compare the temperature differences of each pipe and discuss which design
modification produces the

Beyond The Bayou
First published in 1894, Kate Chopin s short story Beyond the Bayou explores the effect that fear and
loneliness can have on one s world, along with how love and determination can prompt one to
ultimately overcome these emotions. An early childhood trauma has compelled the protagonist of the
story, a woman known as La Folle, to choose to remain in the isolation of her cabin and the woods
surrounding it, keeping her largely separated from the rest of the world across the bayou. Her master s
house sits across the bayou, and his children revel in visiting La Folle and listening to her stories. The
protagonist is closest with the youngest of the children; Cheri. The two share a deep bond, one that is
tested towards the end of the story when Cheri accidentally stumbles and his leg is injured by a bullet.
La Folle, carrying the injured Cheri in her arms, is forced to face her greatest fear in order to get the
boy help: whether or not to cross the bayou. She is forced to choose between maintaining her own
sense of security or stepping foot beyond the bayou to save the child she so deeply cares for. ... Show

sharpshooting (Chopin 99). This distressing sight has a profound effect on La Folle, rendering her
shocked beyond childish reason (Chopin 99). The impression this image leaves on her psyche is
immense and for decades after, rather than explore the tangible world for herself, she chooses
isolation. Opting for what she perceives as safety in her cabin in the woods. Closed off from almost
everyone and everything, La Folle knows not what lies beyond the bayou except for what her morbid

The Winter
We ve got to get those crops in soon honey. The rains are coming and so is the cold.
Yes I know dear. I m not even sure we will have enough for the winter. Oh Morgan, I m worried. With
Suzie crook and these fusses lately; she s just a girl. Not very strong you know. Yes Barbara, I know. If
we just conserve what supplies the good Lord has helped us gather for the coming seasons. I ll try to
hunt for more meat; I ll trap some more furs to sell at the markets before the bite of winter truly sets
in. We ll be fine honey.
Oh I hope so Morgan. I Really do.
It was a simple home that Morgan had constructed himself when they settled here two years ago. He
had sawn and shaped the timber poles with some help from the neighbors well, hardly neighbors since
the closest one was about three miles away across rough terrain.
However, it served. He had even installed real glass panels in the window frames. They cost a pretty
penny, and yet absolutely essential in this harsh and extreme climate up here in the mountains. Flat
land was not common at such an altitude. The soil was rich from ancient volcanic activity in the area.
Crops grew well, usually despite the terrain. This year had been a harsher one however than from what
the locals had said; for ten years or thereabouts .
It was that same period of time in which several families, starved to death in their mountain huts
because of crop failures. Bodies had lain undiscovered until the next spring, looking like frozen meat

Emotional Rhetorical In Dear Mama By Amaru Shakur
Tupac Amaru Shakur, a renown rapper, actor, a renown rapper, actor, and poet wrote the song Dear
Mama , to show his mother that through it all, he appreciates everything that his mother has done for
him. The author also praises his mother in the qualities she had, while also praising all the mothers
who go through the same struggles that she did just to take care of their kids. This being that Tupac
and his sister were raised single handedly for most of their lives by their mother Afeni Shakur. In
addition, at the time Tupac s mother had helped him not lose hope when he was convicted of a false
crime and sentenced to jail. In the song, the main message is a thank you to Tupac s mother, along
with appreciation to all mothers in general, and the three main strategies the author uses to achieve
this message is rhetorical questioning, repetition, and appeals to pathos through emotional
instances/examples. The first technique that Tupac uses to achieve his message is rhetorical
questioning. This can be observed through the lines, And who d think in elementary, hey, I d see the
penitentiary one day? In these lines, Tupac conveys the idea that although he got in frequent trouble,
his mother was still always there for him. This reflects on the current issue at the time, that being
Tupac s sentence in jail. In addition, the lines had a side meaning of showing the struggles of dealing
with a biased law, which at the time mostly applied to people in Tupac s situation such as those with a
low income background and being a minority. However, this technique mainly serves to strengthen the
fact that Tupac loves and appreciated his mother, and giving a general appreciation to any mother who
goes through the dedication for their children. The second technique used by Tupac in the song was
repetition. This can be seen through the repeating of the lines, Lady, don t you know we love ya?
(Dear Mama), Sweet lady, place no one above ya (you are appreciated), Sweet lady, don t you know
we love ya? These three lines, composed by Tupac, Reggie Green, Sweet Franklin , was repeated in
between the verses of the song to help convey the message that Tupac being appreciative of his
mother. It can also be viewed as an additional

An Controversial Issue Of Drinking Water Crisis
Clean water crisis
One of the most controversial issues today relates drinking water. It could be defined as drinkable
water or potable water which is safe enough for drinking and food preparation (Charitywater.org,
2016). Many people argue that some countries are meeting rising problems of not having enough
drinking water. For example in Africa, a lot of people suffer and die daily from various diseases
because they have unclear, dirty, contaminated water. This essay partly agrees with this statement and
will illustrate this issue in term of how important the water is, the causes of getting less clear drinking
water, two technological solutions which is waters desalination and groundwater wells and how to
apply these solutions to Chad in Africa.
Widely, clear water has been getting less because of many reasons. The most two effect causes are the
increase of people number and the pollution of rivers (Eschooltoday.com, 2016). This is because, the
world wants more drinking water for the huge people and it is not like the past when there were a few
people and at less 1 liter for one person a day. For example in China and India, it is difficult for
Chinese and Indians governments to give enough drinking water for the people, so water is so
expensive there. Furthermore, the rivers was one of the sources for having good drinking water, but
farmers and some companies had contaminated the river until the they have been damaged completely

What Is The Mood Of The Goblin Market
The Goblin Market to some people is a simple child s poem but when deeply analyzed it can be very
sexually oriented. The poem talks about two girls, Laura and Lizzie and their tale about the Goblin
Market where they confront the goblin men. Of Course this so called market isn t a real market but a
metaphor for something else. The poem encounters mature and sexually suggestive situations within
the so called Goblin Market. When Laura and Lizzie encounter the goblin men, and the fruit that they
sell, the tone of the poem still remains childish, but the words used mirror those of sexual behavior.
This is the type of language that the writer, Christina Rossetti creates highlighting the female sexuality
and desire in her poem. The delicious fruit that the goblin men were selling, and it s effect on Laura
are similar to that of the biblical story of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the goblins get inside Laura s head, her desire grows and it eventually gets to the point where she
has to try the fruit of the goblin men. This shows her temptation and sexual desire as she goes down to
the goblin men and ends up trading her golden hair for the fruit. This shows that the goblin men have
taken her innocence as the hair represents something precious to her. She is not the same anymore, she
doesn t think like her sister anymore as she has now joined the sexual realm that the goblins represent.
She has stopped denying her sexuality and her desire as she did in the beginning when she hid from
the goblins. The consumption of the fruit is sensual and explicit, as Rossetti s text suggests a sexual
meaning She sucked and sucked and sucked the more; / Fruits which that unknown orchard bore; / She
sucked until her lips were sore; This shows the type of language that Rossetti hides under the childish
tone that is created when reading this outside the feminist

Why have Starbucks customer satisfaction scores declined? Has the company s service declined, or is
it simply measuring satisfaction the wrong way? Overall, Starbucks customer satisfaction scores
began to decline due to their steps of service and customer centric service in the stores. Starbucks
differentiated itself by providing more beverage choices and allowing the customers to customize their
drinks. However, this worked against them because they were in heavily dense areas that contributed
to longer wait time. Additionally, that led Starbucks customers to believe the coffee chain was focus

Alcohol Is A Popular Ingredient
In today s society, alcohol is a popular ingredient in numerous products and beverages. And for better
or worse, alcohol has shaped our civilization for many centuries. Alcohol is any organic compound,
which the hydroxyl functional group is bound to a saturated carbon atom. It is classed as a depressant,
which is an ingredient that slows down vital functions resulting in slurred speech, unsteady
movement, disturbed perceptions and an inability to react quickly. As for how it affects the mind,
alcohol is best understood as a drug that reduces a person s ability to think rationally and distorts our
judgment. The term alcohol is originally referred to the primary alcohol ethyl alcohol, the predominant
alcohol in alcoholic beverages. Ethanol is thought to cause harm partly as a result of direct damage to
DNA caused by its metabolites. Alcohol is absorbed into the bloodstream via small blood vessels in
the walls of the stomach and small intestine. Within minutes of drinking alcohol, it travels from the
stomach to the brain, where it quickly produces its effects, slowing the action of nerve cells. Some
people should not drink at all, including alcoholics, children, pregnant women, people taking certain
medicines, and people with certain medical conditions. Anything more than moderate drinking can be
risky. Heavy drinking can lead to alcoholism and alcohol abuse, as well as injuries, liver disease, heart
disease, cancer, and other health problems. It can also cause problems at

West Virginia taxpayers deserve a tax cut so that they can keep more of their hard earned money, he

Rep. Evan Jenkins, R W.Va., said the plan will allow West Virginia businesses to grow and its
employees to also benefit.
Many West Virginians are struggling after our state s economic downturn, and they deserve to keep

The Joint Committee on Taxation reported under the bill, the federal deficit would increase by more

The possible rise of the deficit is one issue Sen. Joe Manchin, D W.Va., has with the bill, noting how
the bill also put investors over workers.

West Virginians do best, he said, bring people together and find common ground so that we can get
something done.
Marr said while the tax rate for high income earners will remain at 39.6 percent, they will ultimately

Propolis Lab Report
Purpose; The antioxidant properties of Capparis spinosa honey and propolis and the effect of
combined honey and propolis administration on urine volume and electrolytes were studied in rats.
Material and methods; Capparis spinosa honey (1g/kg.b.wt), propolis (100 mg/kg.b.wt),
honey/propolis mixture (100 mg/1g/kg.b.wt), distilled water (1 ml/kg.b.wt) and furosemide (10
mg/kg.b.wt) were orally administered to five groups of rats for 21 days. Urine volume, blood and
urine sodium, potassium and chloride were measured. The antioxidant activity of propolis and the
honey was assessed and their total phenols and flavonoids were determined.
Results; Propolis and Capparis spinosa honey contain polyphenols including flavonoids and propolis
demonstrated higher antioxidant activities than honey. Honey significantly increased urine volume and
urine electrolyte excretion. Propolis has no significant effect on urine volume but co administration of
propolis and honey caused significant diuresis. No major changes were observed in plasma
electrolytes with use of honey, propolis or their combination.
Conclusion; Honey and propolis have antioxidant activity and contain polyphenols including
flavonoids that were more pronounced in propolis. Honey has a significant diuretic activity alone or in
combination with propolis. This is the first study comparing the diuretic effect of co administration of
propolis and Capparis spinosa honey with furosemide.

in England, he discovered that the birds were actually the same species. Although they possessed
certain similar characteristics the birds each had unique morphological qualities that made them differ
from one another. This inspired his famous evolution theory, which is now a biological fact due to the
enormous evidence supporting the theory.
Famous scientists, like Rosemary Grant and her husband, made so many important discoveries on
their work on the finches in Galapagos, which explained how selection can be an agent of
evolutionary changes (Grant Grant 2006). The type of species that are being investigated is the

said he was making unwanted advances at them. I do not believe that environmental surroundings or

than your actual sexual preference. I think that if you are gay, then you are born that way. There is no

Sexual orientation is an aspect of life that is determined before birth. Through the research of LeVay,

Sleep Deprivation In The United States
Work is a necessary evil for most Americans. Money is needed to purchase basic necessities and
having a paying job is the way that most people acquire it. Work indirectly provides food, water,
housing, health coverage, material luxuries and much more, but the one thing it is infamous for taking
is sleep. Countless Americans are working at all hours of the day to meet the their job requirements,
and as a result they have less time to spend catching a little shut eye. Recently, however, may
workplaces are starting to provide times and places for their employees to nap in order to combat this
sleep deprivation as they should. Workplaces should set policies that allow for employees to sleep for
a short period of time because of their moral obligations ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With the policies commonly held currently, businesses are experiencing a huge loss in work quality
and efficiency. As aforementioned, nearly one third of all American workers are sleep deprived which,
according to the Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, has many negative
ramifications on memory, learning and performance. Their basic findings were that sleep affects both
declarative and procedural memory (the what and how), overworks brain neurons, which prevents
them from properly coordinating energy, and decreases the ability to access previously learned
information. Not only this, but they have found that the ability to properly assess and react to a
situation appropriately experiences a steep decline with a lack of sleep (Quan). It is easy to understand
that it would not be desirable to have employees who are remembering less, making impaired
decisions, and learning new materials at a decreased rate. If businesses were to implement positive
policies that encouraged sleep, however, the businesses would be largely helped by having all of their
employees working at their peak performance

What Are The Competing Perspectives On Britain s...
Introduction
This report will outline the competing perspectives on Britain s continuing trade outside of the
European Union membership, will also be considering at least one other EU members national

Norwegian Model
The choice to leave the EU has pushed the UK into uncharted trading territory. The main alternative
frequently supported by supporters of Brexit, is joining the European Economic Area (EEA) which
was founded in 1994 to provide European nations that are not part of the EU an approach to become
members of single market.
Britain have got themselves in a messy situation but the way forward is not. There are few alternatives
they can choose from. One of the options is the Norway option, the Norway option gives the country
full access to the single European market without being a fully paid up member. The Norway model
will also mean that Britain becoming members of two key European organisations, the European

Britain would mean joining non EU countries like Liechtenstein, Iceland and Switzerland, with the

Evolution Of Horse Evolution Essay
Evolution is the change of species over many generation. This topic allows people to learn where
other animals come from. One animal that I am interested in is a horse because I show horses, and
have a passion for them. In this paper I will present researched information about the evolution of the
horse. The horse, a mammal of the family Equidae(extant horses, donkeys, and zebras). It came
around 50 million years ago, transforming to a small dog sized. After a period of time it changed into
regular horse size. The horse belongs to Perissodactyla (odd toed.)They are all members who share

Horse breeders found that characteristics and traits can be passed on from parents and their offspring.
Horse breeders selected those who had desirable characteristics and traits to breed each other. Horses

Pornography, Protection, And Privacy

critical insight into the difficulties of maintaining privacy, facing stigma, and finding support. Coming

recognition of the legitimacy of pornographic careers, and the appreciation of sexual performance as

porn performers who have started recently, but also for ones who had, for a time, faded into obscurity

In other cases, individuals chose to use their legal names, feeling that it was impossible to maintain
impermeable privacy. Some have even adopted their porn names for such reasons as identification
among fans and supporters or as a method of disowning shame associated with their identity as queer,
a porn performer, or otherwise (e.g. Habib, C., pg. 103 106; Halili Orbacedo, M., pg. 246 249;
Lowrance, C., pg. 75 76). These individuals, who chose to use their legal names, largely
acknowledged that their ability to do so was a privilege, that not many in the industry are afforded. As

that, were it not for the misconceptions and negative connotations surrounding their work, there would
not be such a great need for methods of maintaining desperately needed privacy.

Ralph Stanley Research Paper
Dr. Ralph Edmond Stanley, a well known American Bluegrass artist, was born February 25, 1927, in
Big Spraddle Creek, Virginia. He just recently passed away last year on June 23, 2016. During those
89 years of life, Mr. Stanley sure made a name for himself to be remembered for many years after he
was gone. There were two things that made him stand out from many of the bluegrass artists. Those
things were his original voice and his unique way of picking the banjo. Mr. Stanleys mother bought
him his first banjo for five dollars when he was around 15 or 16. His mother taught him to play
clawhammer style on the banjo and later in life he developed his own style from this strumming style.
After graduation from high school in May of 1945, he went into the Army for about a year. The day he

After spending many hours just listening to the songs played I discovered many different styles,
melodies, harmonies, voices, and instruments. There were two songs in this album that were a trio that
consisted of Ralph Stanley, Vince Gill, and Patty Loveless. Something that I think sounded very well
was the harmony when they all sang the chorus of the song A Lonesome Night . The mix of Ralph
Stanley s high pitch unique voice, Vince Gills soft, smooth tone, and Patty Loveless honky tonk style
blended very well. Some other instruments besides the banjo were guitar, fiddle, and the mandolin. To
no surprise, all of these instruments are very prone to being involved in the bluegrass genre. From the
many different voices that were included in this album, they each had at least a little piece of
originality to them. You can definitely hear belting from some of the older people simply because of

Network Bandwidth And Data Upload Time
Though client side deduplication brings in advantages such as reduction of network bandwidth and
data upload time, several security threats are associated with it. These threats have to be addressed in
order to reap the full potential of client side deduplication. Halevi et al. [3] identified various threats
that affect a remote storage system that implements client side deduplication. First, in traditional
storage systems, privacy and confidentiality are compromised when an attacker learns the hash value
of a file and gains access to the entire file from the server. For example, Dropbox uses Secure Hash
Algorithm 256 (SHA256) in a straightforward manner; thus, it is possible for an attacker to obtain
hashes for confidential files of others. Using the hash, a hacker can easily download an unauthorized
file from the server. A practical way for performing this hack is demonstrated by the use of Dropship
application programming interface (API) utilities for Dropbox which allows a hacker to download
confidential files of others from Dropbox servers by obtaining the file hashes. This is comparatively
easy to obtain, and exploiting the weak client side deduplication technique that is applied [4]. Second,
if an attacker can access the server cache then all confidential hashes will be disclosed. Hence the
attacker can make the cloud storage service behave as a content distribution network (CDN) by
publishing the hacked hash values. In a case where the files hashes are published

However, when certain options are exercised, companies receive a tax deduction, which can provide
significant income tax savings. There are two arguments that you ll commonly find against the use of
stock options: Dilution of ownership and overstatement of operating income. When an employee
exercises her stock options, the company has to either issue new shares or go out on the open market
and purchase shares. If new shares are issued, then your ownership is diluted. If the company
purchases shares on the open market, then the company, which only receives the exercise price from
the employee, has to pay market price for the shares it purchases. This results in a net cash outflow for
the company. Since the impact of the compensation deduction that a corporation can claim for tax
purposes is not included in a company s GAAP income, many take the view that using options enables
the company to overstate its income. Risks to Dell shareholders: Dell Share holders bear the risk in the
form of cost of potentially issuing the stock at below market values if the employees do convert the
options into stock when the options are in the money. However, if the options expires out of the
money, the shareholders realize equally better benefits. In this case, the firm obtains labor from
employees without having paid for the labor by issuing shares. The employee stock options provides a

Classroom Management Is Essential For Effective Teaching...
Introduction
Classroom management is essential to effective teaching because this is what makes a classroom flow
forward in the direction of academic success and a great school year. The text states that classroom
management is comprised of the necessary processes to create and maintain a positive environment
that is conducive to teaching and learning (Newman, 2013). Classroom management plays an
important role in the setup of a classroom. Classroom management should begin on the very first day
of school. It is how efficiently a teacher can have schedules, structure, and procedures, well
maintained in the classroom. When the teacher demonstrates what the expectations are on day one and
continues to practice these routines and procedures, it sets the tone of the classroom from day one, and
is what is expected the entire year. A teacher uses classroom management to create and maintain a
learning environment. Discipline of students in a classroom has little to do with the learning
environment and overall management of the classroom. The learning environment will be functional
when there are positive expectations of the students. In a well managed classroom students are
involved with their work as the teacher facilitates instruction (N. A., n. d.). This increases student
achievement and there is little time for confusion and disruptive behavior. Harry Wong states that
students know what is expected of them and are generally successful (Wong, 1998). Expectations

Impact Of International Trade On The United States
In this age of globalization, Economic integration and regional cooperation have become a reality.
International trade has enabled countries to exchange goods, services and capital across the border,
enabling better opportunities for both producers and consumers. However, in recent years, the benefits
of International trade have been questioned by many economists and business experts. There are no
doubts that International trade has been a blessing for many countries around the world, but the
question that remains unanswered is, how does International trade benefit the United States
economically. With fall, declining economic growth, and increase in unemployment, as claimed by
conservatives, trade deals such as NAFTA and TPP have been under the spotlight for quite sometimes.
Despite all criticisms, recent International trade data show a different reality. It shows how the benefits
of International trade outweighed the cost of the economy of the United States.
International trade between countries have existed since the beginning of human existence, and it has
been significant in the economic prosperity of many countries. The discovery of the United States, and
North America can be traced back to International Trade. Prime example of how International trade
benefits the United States is embedded in its giant economy, and superpower status. The economic
achievements of the country were only made possible due to the high volume of trade that the U.S

The Ideology Of Slavery By Drew Gilpin Faust
In The Ideology of Slavery by Drew Gilpin Faust, in Chapter 4 which is James Henry Hammond that
writes a letter to an English Abolitionist, in a section he describes how he believes that Slavery is not a
sin and is approved by Christ. It would seem that while God commanded Moses to free his people that
were slaves to the Pharaoh, man is overlooking these in the Bible and that they are creating their own
law and how their religion differs totally by what they do. I think, then, I may safely conclude, and I
firmly believe, that American Slavery is not only not a sin, but especially commanded by God through
Moses, and approved by Christ through his apostles (Faust 175). When reasoning between what is
right and wrong, Americans only found that what they were doing was not necessarily evil or wrong
just that God permitted it, and also white Americans found slavery to be very significant for their own
lives, due to the fact that their way of making money and making a living involved the owning of
humans to make themselves the most profitable.
While Slavery was against humanity and Abolitionists who believed in abolition of the practice of
slavery, the South had their own reasons why slavery was needed in America and how basically they
supported pro slavery. For instance, some arguments for slavery were, Sudden end to the slave
economy would have had a profound and killing economic impact in the South where reliance on
slave labor was the foundation of their economy. If all

Methods for Mitigating Medication Errors
One of the biggest issues regarding nursing, medicine, and healthcare today is that of patient safety
and medication administration and its impact on providing effective care, especially to the elderly.
Anytime a patient is to receive a medication, several checks must be taken in order to ensure that the
patient receives not only the appropriate type but also the correct dose. This is of utmost importance
with regard to high risk medications, such as warfarin. As a mainstream drug that is used for the
treatment and prevention of coagulation in the blood, any medication error can be potentially
disastrous or even fatal. As a result this, several studies have been conducted over the years in order to
mitigate some of these errors and how best to incorporate consistent strategies that are both ensure
patient compliance and safety, but that are also cost effective, as well.
The studies presented here will focus on what is currently known as evidence based practice. In this

Juvenile Delinquency Is A Problem
Juvenile Delinquency When looking into the history of United States and elsewhere juvenile
delinquency is a problem and has been one for over a century. Like other systems in place, the system
involving juvenile delinquents has gone through many stages. In the case of the juvenile delinquency,
it has gone through four stages, with us presently in the fourth. The causes behind juvenile
delinquency are still unknown even today. Some blame it on the current culture, the over exposure to
violence, music and video games. Nevertheless, the true causes of it have yet to be determined. The
point of this paper is to examine the possible causes of juvenile delinquency by looking at various
fields and their reasoning behind delinquency. In addition to understand the possible causes of juvenile
delinquency I will be looking at past and present assumptions including practices used currently and
previously to solve delinquency.
History
To gain an understanding of the current practices used to handle juvenile delinquents you must first
look at the history of it and understand where it was. The history of juvenile delinquency is a little
different from the criminal justice system history. Originally, a juvenile that committed a crime went
to jail with other male and female criminals. At the beginning of the criminal justice system men,
women, and juvenile criminals were housed together. By putting juveniles with grown men
incarcerated for various reasons made them easy targets

Challenges In Alice Walker s The Color Purple
Oftentimes in life people go through challenges they must face. This is seen in Alice Walker s The
Color Purple, which is a historical novel that takes place in Georgia during the Early 20th Century. In
this text, Celie a young black girl who is abused as a child and married to a man transforms into a
strong women after facing her challenges; Nelie, her sister who was also abused with Celie, ran away
when Celie got married. Having no place to go she ends up with a man and his wife, Samuel and
Corrine who are part of a group called missionaries, of American and African Missionary Society.
Multiple characters face challenges and transform as a result.
For example, Miss Celie at a young age is affected by a challenge that she faces and transforms to get
past her obstacle. As a child she gets raped by her father so she developed a fear of men. Celie winked
at a boy in her church and gets beat by her father; she insist that she didn t wink at him. She says, I
don t even look at mens... I look at women, tho, cause I m not scared of them (5 Walker). Since Celie
has negative experiences with men she is only used to the positive experience with her sister, so she
chooses to neglect men. Even after stating this she still gets beat. Celie faces the challenge of having
and Abusive father who doesn t have respect for her. By not paying attention to what frightens her and
stays where she is hloved which is with women, mainly her sister. This transformation is the result of
the challenges she faced.
Similarly, Sofia, who is married to Harpo starts to feel that her marriage is starting to change she
transforms so she can feel safe and happy. Harpo wants Sofia to listen and do as he says, but Sophia
didn t grow up to obey men; so they get into intense arguments and fights. When Sophia is talking to

  • 2. Examples Of Perseverance In The Miracle Worker I [Annie Sullivan] know the education of this child [Helen Keller] will be the distinguishing event of my life, if I have the brains and perseverance to accomplish it . Annie Sullivan was at first looked down upon by her student, Helen Keller s family. They would tell Sullivan that there was no hope in teaching Keller a blind and deaf child to properly behave and communicate. Although Sullivan faced many obstacles while attempting to teach Keller the meaning of language, she was able to triumph over Keller s handicaps. The non fiction drama titled The Miracle Worker written by William Gibson depicted the methods that Sullivan utilized to educate Helen on how to behave and converse with others. The drama expressed that for one to succeed in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Helen has been a spoiled child for her entire life especially because her parents often give her whatever she long for to distract Helen from disturbing them. When Helen is taking food from her family s plates during breakfast, Annie stops her and demands that she is left alone with the child in order to teach her how to properly eat. Before Annie is able to teach Helen how to sit down and have a proper meal, she makes Helen sit in a chair so Annie can eat her breakfast without Helen groping for her plate. However, Helen persists and keeps going for Annie s food instead of her own. To stop this, Annie must force utensils into Helen s hands and have her eat from her own plate, rather than one of her family s. Annie is eventually able to get Helen to eat her own food. The drama shows, HELEN swallows involuntarily... ANNIE forced her palm open , throws four swift letters into it, then another four, and bows toward her with devastating pleasantness. Good Girl (Gibson 523). Since Helen had never been taught how to properly sit down at a table and eat with manners, this task was cumbersome for Annie. She was able to get Helen to swallow her food and fold a napkin which Helen s mother, Kate, emphasised. When Helen s father, Captain Keller, would talk about how Annie was making no progress and only ruining the child, she would bring up that Annie had gotten Helen to fold her napkin for the first time. Despite Helen persisting to get her way and the Keller family not approving of Annie s teaching methods, Annie was able to teach Helen a lot more than what she knew before tutoring had ... • 3. The Different Development of the New England, Southern,... The Different Development of the New England, Southern, and Middle Colonies America was a place for dreams and new beginnings, until white people arrived in 1607. Three groups sailed over the treacherous Atlantic from their cruel lives in England to set up peaceful religious colonies. The only problem is that they attempted to settle in their own way and all failed dismally. The New England, Middle and Southern Colonies grew differently over the period 1619 1760.Examining the three sets of colonies will prove that they were all different: socially, economically, politically but not philosophically. Socially the three groups of colonies developed differently. The New England Colonies life was dominated by the Puritan religion. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The three colonies all wanted to make money but they had to go about it in different ways. This was mainly due to what they had available. The New England Colonies were mainly agricultural farmers. With all the water reservoirs like Cape Cod there were plenty of fish so lots of people became fishermen. There were a lot of lumberjacks to cut down trees and export them to England. The Middle Colonies were extremely different because they set up extensive cosmopolitan cities reminiscent of New York. They had many specialists like doctors, lawyers, accountants, and teachers. They traded a lot with in North America and occasionally overseas. The Southern Colonies primarily depended on cotton and tobacco plantations. As the plantations grew they had to employ black slaves. The plantations were fully self contained with their own blacksmith, teachers and professionals. So there were no big cities or towns. The main plantations traded directly with Europe via the Mississippi. The three colonies all made money differently with their diverse professions and traders. The three colonies all had comparable similarities, as they were all democratic. But they ran their democratic government differently. For instance the New England Colonies was a Theocracy, which meant that the church controlled the government. The Middle Colonies had their church and government separate. The Southern Colonies were the most inequitable as they were an Oligarchy. This meant ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

On Tuesday, April 20, 1999, two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, of Columbine High School, shocked the nation when they entered the school armed with guns and explosives, killing fellow students and a teacher before taking their own lives. Stories of random violence and aggression such as this all too often plague the media. While the attention of the nation has recently been focused on the Colorado slayings, history reveals countless other similar crimes of aggression targeted towards innocent individuals. In both Nazi Germany and the more recent Bosnia conflict, ethnic cleansing has been used to violently eliminate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Thus, the repression of such libidinal urges is displayed as aggression. As an example of the expression of aggression as explained by Freud, let us consider his work on childhood aggression, and the Oedipus Complex. A boy around age five begins to develop an intense sexual desire for his mother. He has come to regard her as the provider of food and love and thus wants to pursue an intimate, close relationship. The desire for his mother causes the boy to reject and display aggression toward his father. The father is viewed as a competitive rival and the goal they both try to attain is the mother s affection (1). Thus, an internal conflict arises in the young boy. On one hand, he loves his father, but on the other, he wants him to essentially disappear , so that he can form an intimate relationship with his mother. A boy will develop an immense feeling of guilt over this tumultuous conflict and come to recognize the superiority of his father because of his size. This evokes fear in the boy and he will believe that by pursuing his mother s affection his father will want to hurt him, essentially castrate him (1). To resolve the conflict, the boy learns to reject his mother as a love object and will eventually identify with his father. Thus, he has come to understand that an intimate relationship with his mother is essentially inappropriate. Freud also developed the female Oedipal Complex, later named the Electra ... • 6. Beyond The Bayou First published in 1894, Kate Chopin s short story Beyond the Bayou explores the effect that fear and loneliness can have on one s world, along with how love and determination can prompt one to ultimately overcome these emotions. An early childhood trauma has compelled the protagonist of the story, a woman known as La Folle, to choose to remain in the isolation of her cabin and the woods surrounding it, keeping her largely separated from the rest of the world across the bayou. Her master s house sits across the bayou, and his children revel in visiting La Folle and listening to her stories. The protagonist is closest with the youngest of the children; Cheri. The two share a deep bond, one that is tested towards the end of the story when Cheri accidentally stumbles and his leg is injured by a bullet. La Folle, carrying the injured Cheri in her arms, is forced to face her greatest fear in order to get the boy help: whether or not to cross the bayou. She is forced to choose between maintaining her own sense of security or stepping foot beyond the bayou to save the child she so deeply cares for. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Emotional Rhetorical In Dear Mama By Amaru Shakur Tupac Amaru Shakur, a renown rapper, actor, a renown rapper, actor, and poet wrote the song Dear Mama , to show his mother that through it all, he appreciates everything that his mother has done for him. The author also praises his mother in the qualities she had, while also praising all the mothers who go through the same struggles that she did just to take care of their kids. This being that Tupac and his sister were raised single handedly for most of their lives by their mother Afeni Shakur. In addition, at the time Tupac s mother had helped him not lose hope when he was convicted of a false crime and sentenced to jail. In the song, the main message is a thank you to Tupac s mother, along with appreciation to all mothers in general, and the three main strategies the author uses to achieve this message is rhetorical questioning, repetition, and appeals to pathos through emotional instances/examples. The first technique that Tupac uses to achieve his message is rhetorical questioning. This can be observed through the lines, And who d think in elementary, hey, I d see the penitentiary one day? In these lines, Tupac conveys the idea that although he got in frequent trouble, his mother was still always there for him. This reflects on the current issue at the time, that being Tupac s sentence in jail. In addition, the lines had a side meaning of showing the struggles of dealing with a biased law, which at the time mostly applied to people in Tupac s situation such as those with a low income background and being a minority. However, this technique mainly serves to strengthen the fact that Tupac loves and appreciated his mother, and giving a general appreciation to any mother who goes through the dedication for their children. The second technique used by Tupac in the song was repetition. This can be seen through the repeating of the lines, Lady, don t you know we love ya? (Dear Mama), Sweet lady, place no one above ya (you are appreciated), Sweet lady, don t you know we love ya? These three lines, composed by Tupac, Reggie Green, Sweet Franklin , was repeated in between the verses of the song to help convey the message that Tupac being appreciative of his mother. It could be defined as drinkable water or potable water which is safe enough for drinking and food preparation (Charitywater.org, 2016). Many people argue that some countries are meeting rising problems of not having enough drinking water. For example in Africa, a lot of people suffer and die daily from various diseases because they have unclear, dirty, contaminated water. This essay partly agrees with this statement and will illustrate this issue in term of how important the water is, the causes of getting less clear drinking water, two technological solutions which is waters desalination and groundwater wells and how to apply these solutions to Chad in Africa. Widely, clear water has been getting less because of many reasons. The most two effect causes are the increase of people number and the pollution of rivers (Eschooltoday.com, 2016). This is because, the world wants more drinking water for the huge people and it is not like the past when there were a few people and at less 1 liter for one person a day. For example in China and India, it is difficult for Chinese and Indians governments to give enough drinking water for the people, so water is so expensive there. Furthermore, the rivers was one of the sources for having good drinking water, but farmers and some companies had contaminated the river until the they have been damaged completely ... Coming Out Like a Porn Star (COLAPS) serves as a contribution to the destigmatization of pornography, the recognition of the legitimacy of pornographic careers, and the appreciation of sexual performance as labor. The internet has made birth names more searchable and created a permanence of visibility, not just for porn performers who have started recently, but also for ones who had, for a time, faded into obscurity on dissolving reels of VHS tape. (Habib, C., The Name of Your First Pet and The Street You Grew Up On in COLAPS, pg. 105) In other cases, individuals chose to use their legal names, feeling that it was impossible to maintain impermeable privacy. Some have even adopted their porn names for such reasons as identification among fans and supporters or as a method of disowning shame associated with their identity as queer, a porn performer, or otherwise (e.g. Habib, C., pg. 103 106; Halili Orbacedo, M., pg. 246 249; Lowrance, C., pg. 75 76). These individuals, who chose to use their legal names, largely acknowledged that their ability to do so was a privilege, that not many in the industry are afforded. As a collective, these essays emphasize privacy as a primary method of protection. Many writers, including Anonymous (pg. 38 40), Cyd Nova (pg. 118 122), and Kitty Stryker (pg. 216 219), convey that, were it not for the misconceptions and negative connotations surrounding their work, there would not be such a great need for methods of maintaining desperately needed privacy. • 30. Ralph Stanley Research Paper Dr. Ralph Edmond Stanley, a well known American Bluegrass artist, was born February 25, 1927, in Big Spraddle Creek, Virginia. He just recently passed away last year on June 23, 2016. During those 89 years of life, Mr. Stanley sure made a name for himself to be remembered for many years after he was gone. There were two things that made him stand out from many of the bluegrass artists. Those things were his original voice and his unique way of picking the banjo. Mr. Stanleys mother bought him his first banjo for five dollars when he was around 15 or 16. His mother taught him to play clawhammer style on the banjo and later in life he developed his own style from this strumming style. After graduation from high school in May of 1945, he went into the Army for about a year. The day he came home from the war, Carter, his Brother, and his father picked him up and later that night he made an appearance on the radio singing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After spending many hours just listening to the songs played I discovered many different styles, melodies, harmonies, voices, and instruments. There were two songs in this album that were a trio that consisted of Ralph Stanley, Vince Gill, and Patty Loveless. Something that I think sounded very well was the harmony when they all sang the chorus of the song A Lonesome Night . The mix of Ralph Stanley s high pitch unique voice, Vince Gills soft, smooth tone, and Patty Loveless honky tonk style blended very well. Some other instruments besides the banjo were guitar, fiddle, and the mandolin. To no surprise, all of these instruments are very prone to being involved in the bluegrass genre. From the many different voices that were included in this album, they each had at least a little piece of originality to them. You can definitely hear belting from some of the older people simply because of when they began singing and how they got used to singing loud without amplification ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Network Bandwidth And Data Upload Time Though client side deduplication brings in advantages such as reduction of network bandwidth and data upload time, several security threats are associated with it. These threats have to be addressed in order to reap the full potential of client side deduplication. Halevi et al. [3] identified various threats that affect a remote storage system that implements client side deduplication. First, in traditional storage systems, privacy and confidentiality are compromised when an attacker learns the hash value of a file and gains access to the entire file from the server. For example, Dropbox uses Secure Hash Algorithm 256 (SHA256) in a straightforward manner; thus, it is possible for an attacker to obtain hashes for confidential files of others. Using the hash, a hacker can easily download an unauthorized file from the server. A practical way for performing this hack is demonstrated by the use of Dropship application programming interface (API) utilities for Dropbox which allows a hacker to download confidential files of others from Dropbox servers by obtaining the file hashes. This is comparatively easy to obtain, and exploiting the weak client side deduplication technique that is applied [4]. Second, if an attacker can access the server cache then all confidential hashes will be disclosed. Hence the attacker can make the cloud storage service behave as a content distribution network (CDN) by publishing the hacked hash values. In a case where the files hashes are published ... However, when certain options are exercised, companies receive a tax deduction, which can provide significant income tax savings. There are two arguments that you ll commonly find against the use of stock options: Dilution of ownership and overstatement of operating income. When an employee exercises her stock options, the company has to either issue new shares or go out on the open market and purchase shares. If new shares are issued, then your ownership is diluted. If the company purchases shares on the open market, then the company, which only receives the exercise price from the employee, has to pay market price for the shares it purchases. This results in a net cash outflow for the company. Since the impact of the compensation deduction that a corporation can claim for tax purposes is not included in a company s GAAP income, many take the view that using options enables the company to overstate its income. Risks to Dell shareholders: Dell Share holders bear the risk in the form of cost of potentially issuing the stock at below market values if the employees do convert the options into stock when the options are in the money. However, if the options expires out of the money, the shareholders realize equally better benefits. In this case, the firm obtains labor from employees without having paid for the labor by issuing shares. The employee stock options provides a cushioning from the full burnt ... • 33. Classroom Management Is Essential For Effective Teaching... Introduction Classroom management is essential to effective teaching because this is what makes a classroom flow forward in the direction of academic success and a great school year. The text states that classroom management is comprised of the necessary processes to create and maintain a positive environment that is conducive to teaching and learning (Newman, 2013). Classroom management plays an important role in the setup of a classroom. Classroom management should begin on the very first day of school. It is how efficiently a teacher can have schedules, structure, and procedures, well maintained in the classroom. When the teacher demonstrates what the expectations are on day one and continues to practice these routines and procedures, it sets the tone of the classroom from day one, and is what is expected the entire year. A teacher uses classroom management to create and maintain a learning environment. Discipline of students in a classroom has little to do with the learning environment and overall management of the classroom. The learning environment will be functional when there are positive expectations of the students. In a well managed classroom students are involved with their work as the teacher facilitates instruction (N. A., n. d.). This increases student achievement and there is little time for confusion and disruptive behavior. Harry Wong states that students know what is expected of them and are generally successful (Wong, 1998). Expectations ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Impact Of International Trade On The United States In this age of globalization, Economic integration and regional cooperation have become a reality. International trade has enabled countries to exchange goods, services and capital across the border, enabling better opportunities for both producers and consumers. However, in recent years, the benefits of International trade have been questioned by many economists and business experts. There are no doubts that International trade has been a blessing for many countries around the world, but the question that remains unanswered is, how does International trade benefit the United States economically. With fall, declining economic growth, and increase in unemployment, as claimed by conservatives, trade deals such as NAFTA and TPP have been under the spotlight for quite sometimes. Despite all criticisms, recent International trade data show a different reality. It shows how the benefits of International trade outweighed the cost of the economy of the United States. International trade between countries have existed since the beginning of human existence, and it has been significant in the economic prosperity of many countries. The discovery of the United States, and North America can be traced back to International Trade. Prime example of how International trade benefits the United States is embedded in its giant economy, and superpower status. The economic achievements of the country were only made possible due to the high volume of trade that the U.S conduct outside its ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. The Ideology Of Slavery By Drew Gilpin Faust In The Ideology of Slavery by Drew Gilpin Faust, in Chapter 4 which is James Henry Hammond that writes a letter to an English Abolitionist, in a section he describes how he believes that Slavery is not a sin and is approved by Christ. It would seem that while God commanded Moses to free his people that were slaves to the Pharaoh, man is overlooking these in the Bible and that they are creating their own law and how their religion differs totally by what they do. I think, then, I may safely conclude, and I firmly believe, that American Slavery is not only not a sin, but especially commanded by God through Moses, and approved by Christ through his apostles (Faust 175). When reasoning between what is right and wrong, Americans only found that what they were doing was not necessarily evil or wrong just that God permitted it, and also white Americans found slavery to be very significant for their own lives, due to the fact that their way of making money and making a living involved the owning of humans to make themselves the most profitable. While Slavery was against humanity and Abolitionists who believed in abolition of the practice of slavery, the South had their own reasons why slavery was needed in America and how basically they supported pro slavery. For instance, some arguments for slavery were, Sudden end to the slave economy would have had a profound and killing economic impact in the South where reliance on slave labor was the foundation of their economy. The United States and their allies formed NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and the Soviet Union and their allies formed the Warsaw Pact. • 38. Methods for Mitigating Medication Errors One of the biggest issues regarding nursing, medicine, and healthcare today is that of patient safety and medication administration and its impact on providing effective care, especially to the elderly. Anytime a patient is to receive a medication, several checks must be taken in order to ensure that the patient receives not only the appropriate type but also the correct dose. This is of utmost importance with regard to high risk medications, such as warfarin. As a mainstream drug that is used for the treatment and prevention of coagulation in the blood, any medication error can be potentially disastrous or even fatal. As a result this, several studies have been conducted over the years in order to mitigate some of these errors and how best to incorporate consistent strategies that are both ensure patient compliance and safety, but that are also cost effective, as well. The studies presented here will focus on what is currently known as evidence based practice. In this paper, a summary of three studies will provided as will the best intervention methods based on evidence, as suggested by the authors research, will also be incorporated. • 39. Juvenile Delinquency Is A Problem Juvenile Delinquency When looking into the history of United States and elsewhere juvenile delinquency is a problem and has been one for over a century. Like other systems in place, the system involving juvenile delinquents has gone through many stages. In the case of the juvenile delinquency, it has gone through four stages, with us presently in the fourth. The causes behind juvenile delinquency are still unknown even today. Some blame it on the current culture, the over exposure to violence, music and video games. Nevertheless, the true causes of it have yet to be determined. The point of this paper is to examine the possible causes of juvenile delinquency by looking at various fields and their reasoning behind delinquency. In addition to understand the possible causes of juvenile delinquency I will be looking at past and present assumptions including practices used currently and previously to solve delinquency. History To gain an understanding of the current practices used to handle juvenile delinquents you must first look at the history of it and understand where it was. The history of juvenile delinquency is a little different from the criminal justice system history. Originally, a juvenile that committed a crime went to jail with other male and female criminals. At the beginning of the criminal justice system men, women, and juvenile criminals were housed together. By putting juveniles with grown men incarcerated for various reasons made them easy targets ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
