natural resources. Sustainable agriculture is when farmers adapt practices that enrich the soil,

I remember learning about this in the third grade. Soil needs time to rest, but an open field with

Many people look at the Washington Redskins logo and see it just the same as any of the other
NFL teams logos. So, why take the time and money to change their brand for the very few
amount of people that think it s little offensive? In the past couple of years, a lot of people see
many pro and college sports teams differently because of their mascot or logo. Native Americans,
whose culture diminished ever since Europeans stepped onto the shores of the East, are used as
branding for all levels and divisions of athletics teams. A lot of people argue for both sides of the
conflict, with one side reasoning that the logos look racist and disrespect Native American culture,

Introduction
The film Thank you for Smoking is a dark comedy where the primary protagonist, Nick Naylor is a
lobbyist. He talks for the cigarette industry and will not extra the American Authorities or even the
press. At the in advance, the film prominently tackles all these topics but deep down it also
portrays the partnership between a dad and a son.
Rhetorical and arguments analysis
In a single conversation between a father and a son, Naylor coaches his son Joey by telling him the
beauty of argument: if you argue correctly, you re never wrong . This depicts a framework of Nick
s personality and probably explains the reason why as to the reasons he will not lose quarrels. It is
because he reframes the discussion till he wins. Also the film shows a significant critique posed by

Although Euclid (or the school) may have not been first proved by him, (in fact much of his work
may have been based upon earlier writings,) he did manage to insert assumptions and definitions of
his own to strengthen the various postulates into the form we know today.
The Elements begins with the five postulates and their definitions, these postulates prove or define
the existence of points, lines and circles and from there on go to define other aspects of geometry
based upon the simpler concepts. The Elements consists of thirteen books. Some assumptions are
not totally provable, such that there is only one straight line between two points. Euclid makes

Reflection On Professional Development
In this short essay my own personal view on professional development will be made evident through
reviewing past experiences, allowing recommendations for better practice to occur. Other topics
discussed and analysed will be; the structure of the organisation, the effectiveness on leadership and
management. My own role within the organisational structurewill be reflected on, considering the
impact of skills in practice, further, justifying what I will need for future personal and professional
development.
Reflective practice is an important tool, as people learn from their own professional experiences
(Pascal and Brown, 2009). Reflection provides opportunity for furthering personal and professional
development (Nganga, 2011). As it helps to certify knowledge skills and experience that is used
within practice (Freire, 1972).
Boud, Keogh and Walker (1985) states that, looking through past and present experiences helps
with progression in the future. The reflection on practice is finding the weaknesses and overcoming
them (Dyer and Taylor, 2012).
Johns (2000) situates that a number of models can help to structure a reflection. As they provide
a framework that helps develop a deeper understanding and analysis. One reflective model is
SchГ¶n (2002) the model of reflection in action and reflection on action. This model is
beneficial to use as it involves working on getting to the bottom of what is happening in the
experience process, such as; the decisions made and the feelings felt at that time of the event.
Reflection on action involves looking over the event and drawing on professional knowledge to
understand what happened and why it happened and to develop deeper knowledge (Thompson
and Pascal, 2012). However, this is not the only model that could be used. Other models such as
Kolb (1984), Gibbs (1988) and Brookfield (1995) have different frameworks to help breakdown an
issue.
I like to use SchГ¶n (2002) model in the workplace as I am thinking about what I am doing as I
am doing it. This does not provide a lot of time to think in depth and to break the event down,
leading to not gaining a better understanding of what happened, without this I have no targets to
better my professional development.
