 Primary level: . It signifies the intervention in the
prepathogenisis phase of a disease or health problem
 secondary level: It can be defined as action which halts
the progress of a disease at its incipient stage and
prevents complication
 tertiary level: all measures available to reduce or limit
impairments and disabilities, minimise suffering
caused by existing departure from good health.

One of the most fundamental ways that nurses assist in preventive
health efforts is through education.

The most imperative part of preventive health care strategy is
paying particular attention to demographics of patients with a
high risk of certain disease.
