2. The company IPC media could distribute my product as they
already do existing magazines such as NME. NME is a
magazine similar to mine as we both focus on the same
genre so IPC would know where to send my magazine for
it to make good amounts of sales. An alternative option to
this is Bauer Media who distribute magazines such as
Kerrang and Q. Once again these magazines cover fairly
similar genres to mine and clearly have more experience in
distribution which could lead to more sales. However
because there with IPC there is NME which covers the
same genre as HYPE I would choose Bauer as there is no
specific indie magazine even though there is little room
with the high number of magazines they already distribute.
Furthermore they publish to a European market which is
where the genre is based so it is likely to do better in this
area of the world.
