Patsy Ramsey Research Paper
The Ramseys were a privileged family living in Boulder Colorado. Patsy Ramsey and John Ramsey
gave birth to two children. Little 6 year old pageant Queen JonBenet and 9yr old Burk. However the
family had a terrible surprise the night after Christmas.
December 26th, 1996 Boulder, Colorado, little 6 year old JonBenet was pronounced missing by the
Ramseys. Patsy Ramsey calls police and reports kidnapping with ransom note. Upon arrival; there
were two detectives, there was a patrol group, and they were already looking for JonBenet. Ransom
asked for $118,000, and they would kill JonBenet if they didn t cooperate. Police asked them to
retrace steps where they got up on christmas day, opened presents, went to friend s house and came

The note asked for $118,000, and that s how much jonbenet s father got as a bonus earlier that year.
On top of that pineapple was found in her stomach which means that JonBonet was killed by someone
close to her. One theory that was presented that she deceived by someone who knew, before being
attacked.
More importantly the fingerprints of Burke was found on the bowl of pineapple discovered in the
kitchen post murder. While Burke was questioned briefly, he was never seriously considered as a
suspect and was often shielded by his parents. Burke was only other person in home, was the center of
attention until Patsey came along. Burk even had emotional outbreaks which included hitting
JonBenet with golf club.. Ramsey family could have covered case up to protect Burk
JonBenét s body was found in the basement of the family home there was a cord tied around her neck,
her wrists were tied above her head and there was some tape over her mouth., the location of her body
was unusual. However, taken together with the ransom note, this does start to appear questionable.
Why would someone claim to have kidnapped JonBenét and demand ransom only for her to be
already dead inside the home she was supposedly removed

Credit Cards And Credit Card Payments
Throughout our lives, we do a tremendous amount of spending. Whether it be using cash or a
credit/debit card, we spend thousands of dollars each year on various items. Similar to individuals,
companies squander up plenty of money as well. However, companies typically primarily on the usage
credit cards. Credit cards have developed into a necessity for the majority as it is easier than having to
reimburse employees if they pay with cash. Unfortunately, credit cards are a means we should avoid
due to the concept that payments are commonly not made punctually. As a result, people oftentimes
have hundreds and even thousands of dollars of debt in regards to credit card payments which can
financially affect a person for the rest of their life. Similarly, corporations have the same difficulties
and may eventually become bankrupt because of this. Even though credit cards are perhaps a wise
decision for a few, but they are unideal item for countless others. In the situation presented, credit
cards and their implications are the principal topics at hand. Represented in the corporate credit card
case is a major regional bank holding company identified as X Bank. Recently, the company opted to
expand its business by developing new products and services that would increase its revenues and
profits. As a result, they elected to affiliate with VISA International and introduce the corporate card.
With this plan, corporations would be able to provide their employees these cards to use

Menswear Paid In The Fashion Industry
Like most of us individuals Menswear is very well rounded. Also like most of individuals in the
fashion industry we each have our own opinion, menswear is similar because each designer takes the
concept of menswear and puts their own creative twist on it or carefully creates a strategic plan to
execute their ideal version of menswear. In the previous season of Fall / Winter 2015 2016 such trends
and their designated designers constructed memorable and classic garments or unique yet simplistic
items of clothing. Of course, each item/garment of menswear is unique and goes in a ton of
categorized trends but the trends that stood out to me in the menswear collections were: The Oversized
Fur Coats, Denim, The Brocade, Androgyny, The Baggy Trouser

Participant Observation In Sociological Research
The two different methods that can be used in observation is with participant observation and visual
sociology. The participant observation is an observation of people being studied. This method is not
often successful, sociologists are needed to participate in the participant s daily life that is being
observed. The people that will help with this method will be people in their social group ( family,
friends, professors, coworkers etc.) This method is needed for the sociologists be objective observers
and be the actual participants in the social of their study. The observers record their observations in
notes, which will be useful for examination of the study. In the visual sociology, the techniques that
are being used here are photography and videotape. These techniques are methods for interviewing.

The Federalists And Democratic Republicans
From 1789 to 1816, the Federalists and Democratic Republicans approached many problems
differently, sometimes however, they had the same solutions to problems which were posed by
England and the Native Americans. The Federalists and Democratic Republicans both had different
and sometimes similar viewpoints on how to solve the problems they faced during this particular time
period. Federalists supported a strong, huge government that had a loose constriction of the
constitution. They also supported the National Bank, exercise tax. Also, they thought tariffs should be
high, and they believed in an industrial world filled with huge businesses and mass production of
goods. However, the Democratic Republicans wanted a more agrarian culture. They did not want a
huge government, National bank, excise taxes, and they wanted the tariffs to be low. Some difficulties
that the two parties faced were that the British created were impressments of sailors, assisting the
Native Americans in war against the United States, and the Orders in Council of 1805. The Native
Americans also generated problems for America because they resisted land expansion. Because of
their standards and beliefs, this shows how the two parties faced these particular problems that were
caused by Britain and the Native Americans. Therefore, the Federalists and Democratic Republicans
solved problems differently, but sometimes they had the same idea to work together in order to
effectively fix both of the parties

Justice And Justice In Hamlet
The definition of justice can mean many distinctive things. However it can make people forgive, or get
revenge. I think it just depends on the situation. In my Final Essay, I m going to answer this question
for you, Can justice and forgiveness go hand in hand? There are numerous amounts of examples I will
show you, and one of them even includes a film called Simon Birch. Justice is what you fight and earn
properly. Revenge is naïve, and can be hurtful, if somebody hurts you, handle it maturely and
respectfully.
The well known play by Shakespeare, Hamlet; is one example of justice and forgiveness. Hamlets
uncle, Claudius kills his own brother, Hamlet Sr. He puts poison in his ear while he was dozing.
Hamlet finds out and doesn t tell anyone, everyone think he has gone mad, even his own mother,
Gertrude. Claudius marries Gertrude and becomes king. Hamlet continues to make a play about how
Claudius killed Hamlet Sr. and Claudius feels uncomfortable and leaves. During the whole play,
Hamlet tries to get revenge on Claudius in whatever possible way he can. However, Claudius
convinces everybody that Hamlet is lying about what he has been saying about him. At the end of the
play, Hamlet and Claudius duel to the death. Claudius gets wounded and Hamlet feels like he has won
and that he finally got revenge and justice for his father. So, in that story justice and forgiveness can
go hand in hand, it s all about how you handle the situation.
My second example is from a movie called

The Gender Differences And Consequences Of Gender...
Socialization is this expectation that you must live by with the rules of conduct and behavior. Where
you have laws and must live by because it s a must or you ll be punished but socialization is where
you have to follow nature s law although its not negatively reinforced. You are to do things that people
expect and if you do otherwise you are looked at weirdly or thought to be the odd ball. Which then
brings me to gender socialization, some people are very strict when it comes to gender roles. For
example video games. Some boys and girls are limited to the type of games they are allowed to play
based on their gender.
Gender socialization is socialization but for just gender roles. So girls can only do girly things and boy
may not because it s just for girls and vise versa. Girl are to not participate in male games because it s
a guy thing. A few examples would be two brothers playing wrestling because that s what they watch
on tv and the sister that wants to join older or younger but can t because mommy and daddy said she
couldn t. You might wonder and ask why and at times you can get responses like: she s a girl she can t
play with boys that dangerous it s a boy games, you re just a little girl why don t you play with you
baby doll little girls don t play that you can get hurt but the problem they don t see is even though yes
it s possible she can get hurt to so can the two other kids.
For boys they are seen the moment they re tough that they can t

Osteichtyes
EXCRETORY SYSTEM
OF OSTEICHTYES
The main organ in the excretory system of all Osteichthyes is the kidney. They are complex, and
within them is the nephrons. The nephrons form in segments much like an Earthworm. The corpuscle
is part of the nephron that filters blood, and the tubule send back water and solutes (nutrients) into the
blood. The bad and useless componets of the blood are sent to the ureter which is where urine is
removed from the body. Solid wastes are processed through the digestive tract, and removed from the
body out of the anus.
In fishes, some excretion also takes place in the digestive tract, skin, and especially the gills (where
ammonia is given off). Compared with land vertebrates, fishes have a special problem ... Show more

In Fugo chrysops, the distinction between the kidney and the head kidney is not clear. A pair of ureters
leave the posterior end, and they join in front of the small urinary bladder. Corpuscles of Stannus lie
on the dorsal side of the junction of ureters. In typical fresh water fishes, the heterotopic thyoid
follicles are often found in the kidney or the head kidney. In general, the active and fast swimming
fishes have numerous and better developed glomeruli than sluggish fish have. Beyenbach and
Baustian (1989), Beyenbach and Dantzler (1990), Baustian and Beyenbach (1993), Beyenbach (1995)
and Beyenbach and Lui (1996) have provided a wealth information on the comparative physiology of
the proximal tubule. As the first major tubule along the length of the nephron, the proximal tubule is
invariably present in all vertebrate kidney. It performs most renal functions in glomerular kidneys, and
virtually all transport functions in aglomerular kidneys. Aglomerular kidneys secretes magnesium and
sulphate ions, an obvious adaptation to marine conditions. Nevertheless, some aglomerular fish can
now tolerate dilute brackish water or even fresh water. Osteichthyes release their nitrogen as
ammonia. Blood waste are filtered by kidney. And some waste is diffused by the gills. Salt water
osteichthyes are constantly secreting water through their skin. They tend to drink a lot of water

Early Years Foundation Stage
The early year s foundation stage has been in place since September 2008.Early years foundation
stage is a play based curriculum for children from birth to five years which allow them to explore their
learning and development through play.
The five weeks continuous provision plan targeted a group of 8 children in the early year s class
(reception class) and was built on the EYFS framework. The plan focused on the communication and
language prime areas of EYFS. It was also supported by theories by F Skimmer and Chomsky. The
reason this plan was focused on the communication and language areas of EYFS is the realization that
many early learners lack or have insufficient communication skills, in comparison to their ages. As a
result of the lack of or inappropriate language ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Under operant condition, practitioners should use continuous reinforcement and intermittent
reinforcement. On the contrary, Chomsky s theory on knowledge and language learning emphasizes
the principles of generative grammar and cognitive theory. These theories postulations are built on the
premises of language construction and use. The main postulate of Chomsky s on which the current
continuous provision plan was based is the assertion that knowledge and skills are obtained through
life s experiences, formal education and the practical application or understanding of a concept. Also,
learning involves practical as well as the theoretical understanding of topics and subjects.
Chomsky s theory of generative grammar emphasizes the importance of taking and storing of
information, similar to the premise of the current continuous provision plan (Chomsky, 2000). In
Chomsky s theory of language and communication, to retain information and knowledge, there is need
for previously stored knowledge to which newly inserted knowledge and information s added and

Medicine Vs. Simpson In The History Of Medicine
Some people may say that Simpson is more important in the history of medicine than Lister. Simpson
dealt with the pain section during the 19th century, and after many years of previous surgeons/doctors
attempting to find a thing to fight pain, Simpson found the answer in Chloroform. This was important
because it was used widely for military purposes and also aided in childbirth; Queen Elizabeth 1st and
Charles Dickens wife, both used Chloroform during the birth of their children. Although, there were
many setbacks in the use of anaesthesia and Chloroform. A patient took Chloroform for an ingrown
toenail and died. This was important because it showed that Simpson didn t know how much
Chloroform to use for each patient. However, other people

Responsible For The Death Of Eric Garner
So, on the basis of the video evidence, it is quite clear that the New York police were responsible for
the death of Eric Garner; that they used excessive force relative to the magnitude of the situation at
hand; and that they failed to take Garner s own pleas with adequate seriousness. The result was what,
conceptually, could only be called a homicide. This is the conclusion that was reached by an official
medical examiner. The seriousness of the incident is clearly exacerbated by the fact that on the basis of
Garner saying that he could not breathe, the police should have known that they were killing him.
The incident, then, was a clear instance of the broader problem of police brutality and how police fail
to use discretion with force.

Real World Race
Race and The Real World Kraszewski writes in his chapter, Country Hicks and Urban Cliques, that
throughout its 20 season run, (now 30+ seasons) The Real World has brought to terms race and reality
through discursive tensions between urban and rural America, as well as liberal and conservative
politics. In class we discussed this issues more in depth of video clips of the each of the tensions that
Kraszewski describes in the chapter. The most prominentwhite rural figures such as Julie, and later
Julie from season 9 and Mike from season 10, cover significant discursive terrain in the way the show
addresses racism. Through mediations of casting, family practices, editing, and narrative strategies,
The Real World suggests that racism is a phenomenon located within rural conservatives, not liberals
with an urban feel. In the article Kraszewski uses the phrase urban feel to call attention to the way
MTV promotes a certain type of image so that rural viewers in the Midwest can feel urban if the buy
the right clothes and have the right attitude.
The Real World constructs a reality that frees the audience of any implications in racism by blaming
rural conservatives for the problem. And yet, these rural figures on the show contain a ... Show more

19th Century American Imperialism
Industrial revolution motivated European powers like France, Germany, and Britain to expand their
imperial rule in the 19th century. They believed imperial expansion and colonial domination were
necessary for their survival of their states and societies. Modern imperialism allowed European
powers to profit from subject societies and influence their affairs without having to apply direct
political control. Modern colonialism further allowed European powers to control the subject s lands
political, social, economic, and cultural structures. The major goals of European imperialism were
economic, political, military, and ideological reason. European nations need additional resources and

White colonizers believed that they had to impose their civilization on the distant lands because the
natives are uncivilized. It is the greatest possible mistake to suppose that a European can acquire a
greater influence by adopting the mode of life of the natives. In effect, it is to lower himself to their
plane, instead of elevating them to his (Capt. F.D. Lugard, 3). Imperialists viewed their beliefs as the
superior culture and if they were to adopt another culture rather than spread their, it would be a
downgrade for Europeans rather than help save the natives. Missionaries seek to introduce Christianity
to converts and other Europeans help civilized natives in political order and social stability.
Missionaries also have other benefits besides spreading Christianity. Missionaries help make
communication between imperialist and subject peoples easier, sometime provide information to
European officials on how to maintain control of oversea colonies, and their settlements also served as
a convenient meeting place for European overseas and as a distribution centers for European

Counts vs. Daimyo Essay
Counts vs. Daimyo By examining Japan and Medieval Europe s past, both areas had feudalism
incorporated in their social structure. Feudalism was a relationship among the upper class, in which a
member of the nobility was granted land, and in return promised to protect the king, who gave them
their land. The nobility referred to are counts in Europe and daimyo in Japan. Both are generally
governors who rule over a substantial subsection of the empire with certain duties and obligations.
Daimyo and counts are very similar with some slight difference like whether their power is handed
down by heredity and how much power they really have. The term count was originally just a

The emperor did not hesitate to dispose any count guilty of bad administration. (3) Not only could the
counts be removed by the king but they could also be transferred to another county. The king however
did not keep his power forever. For eventually the counts gained more and more power. As their power
rose, the empire became decentralized. The people under the counts were not loyal to the king who
was miles away, they were loyal to the count that rain their area. He knew was special needs they
needed and was able to become more personal with the people he ruled. When the king lost complete
power, the lords took over and created manorialism. The Daimyo of Japan have many similarities to
the counts in medieval Europe. The term daimyo came to be applied to those military lords who began
exercising territorial control over the various private estates into which the country had become
divided. (4) They are considered governors who have military control, administer justice and are in
charge of taxes. The king granted the first daimyo their land because they had won a battle or some
more land for the king. The land is just some kind of repayment for what they did. In return for the
land that the king gave them, Daimyo promised to give military support to the government. Each
Daimyo is separate from each other and fought over boundaries. They compete for power and this is

Prospect Theory And Expected Utility Theory
Essay
Introduction
Negotiations and decisions are act as key counterparts in every business. A clear definition as well as
the recognition of core elements surrounding the decision making process is required to reach a
suitable decision. These approaches purpose to be achieved clear concerns before a final decision
making. This paper will outline prospect theory and discuss the differences between prospect theory
and expected utility theory. Following will be, as explanation of the biases and heuristics of the
investment decision making process.
Part 1.
Prospect theory is an important alternative descriptive theory for decision making under unreliable
situation (Kahneman and Tversky 1979), which includes real life selection and psychological analysis
between choices that involve risk. Prospect theory, which efforts to explain individual make decisions
between risky replacements based on the value of potential gains and losses (Wakker 2010), advanced
from expected utility theory, which explains that investors want to maximize expected utility of wealth
when unclearly situations (Blavatskyy 2007). According to Kahneman and Tversky (1992), more
recent researches perceived nonlinear preferences in choices that do not involve definite events in
prospective theory. The concept of framing effect refers description invariances (Kahneman and
Tversky 1992). To be specific, individual always makes the same decision in identical choice
conditions. Also, decision makers have tendency to

Challenges Of Islamic Finance Industry
CHALLENGES TO ISLAMIC FINANCE INDUSTRY
Many authors agree that Islamic finance industry has a long way to become globally successful
industry. To achieve its potential for solid growth, Islamic finance must improve number of areas
including: improving regulatory supervision in the industry, adaptation of tax treatment to Islamic
banking products, establishing liquidity control, introducing risk management tools, supporting
standardization of financial products and others.
Prasad (2015) mentions necessity of protection of investments accounts, regulation in relation to
Islamic contracts and treatment of investments accounts and risk management. He also highlights
liquidity, as the critical issue. There is a lack of management instruments in central banks to manage
liquidity in Islamic banks. The Sukuk market is expected to continue to expand very rapidly, and its
development will give Islamic banks access to the high quality liquid assets needed to comply with
international liquidity standards. Tax regulation is needed in countries which have only regulations for
conventional finance system, because some of Islamic products can face double taxation from their
nature, especially investment income from Sukuks. There is also problem with multilayered
transactions, which can cause higher taxation. All these taxation aspects may put Islamic finance at a
disadvantage.
The recent global financial crisis highlighted the importance of policymakers in responding system

Flat Shot Essay
Groundstrokes can be hit with topspin or flat.
Topspin is when the racket brushes over the top of the ball causing it to spin. This type of stroke is
more accurate but it makes the ball bounce when it hits the surface which gives the opponent more
time to think before deciding on his own shot. The flat shot however, which is harder to control goes
flatter across the net and the court and has hardly any bounce making it harder for the opponent to
return accurately but it is also a riskier shot.
Sliced forehand and backhand.
This is the opposite of a topspin shot. The ball is hit underneath causing it to have a backspin effect as
it lands on the court and making it a tricky shot to return. It is a great shot to use to change the pace of
the game and to catch an opponent out by giving them a shot that s hard to reach and has a swerving
effect at the end.

It is considered an important weapon of the game. Winning or losing a game can depend on whether a
player dominates the serve or not. Failing to place the serve in the right place can mean a player gives
away free points to his opponent. This is called committing a double fault. A player has two
opportunities per point to place the ball in the correct area across the net or the other player
automatically receives a point. Having a weak serve that the other player can return too easily, and
aggressively, is also a problem as points will be lost too easily. There are several types of serves such
as topspin, topspin slice, flat, slice, kick and many others, all which aim to make it difficult, if not
impossible, for the receiver to return the

The Multistore Model of Memory Essay
The Multistore Model of Memory The multistore model is a representation of memory based on
having more than one different kind of store for remembered information. Atkinson and Shiffrin
(1968) proposed this model based on evidence related to the separate stores of memory (e.g. serial
position: primacy recency, forgetting etc.). It suggests that memory comprises of three separate stores,
the sensory memory store, the short term memory and the long term memory, each store having a
specific and relatively inflexible function:
Information enters and is initially stored in SM which holds information for very brief periods of time
if the information is not concentrated on. However, if a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Later, he frequently asked about his uncle and, on each occasion, reacted again with the level of grief
appropriate to hearing the news for the first time. KF, a motorcycle accident victim investigated by
Shallice and Warrington (1970), suffered from the reverse of this memory impairment. He had no
difficulty in transferring new items into LTM but had a grossly impaired digit span. Cases such as
these lend support to the Atkinson and Shiffrin model, in that they seem to point to a clear distinction
between LTM and STM. There does seem to be fairly strong support for a difference between LTM
and STM in terms of duration, capacity and effects of brain damage. However, there are problems
with the model of Atkinson and Shiffrin. The model is too simple and inflexible and fails to take
account of factors such as the strategies people employ to remember things. It also places emphasis on
the amount of information that can be processed rather than its nature. Some things are simply easier
to remember than others, perhaps because they are more interesting, more distinctive, funnier, or
whatever. The multistore model cannot account for this. Furthermore, alternative explanations can
account for the empirical findings e.g. the levels of processing model. This model was put forward by
Craik and
Lockhart (1972). According to them, processing varies in terms of depth, Trace

Ethnography Of The Blue House
Ethnography of the Blue House : Plano Day Labor Center While making the drive on my way to
school, my father decides to take a short detour to go pay his worker. It is early in the morning and
still very grey outside which facilitated my usual slumber. This detour meant nothing more to me than
simply that of a detour, but it wasn t until I was suddenly awaken by the car being strangely rocked
like that of a small raft in the sea. Being nearly eight years old, I m instantly on high alert and very
confused. There is a man in the passenger seat saying hello to me as my dad pays him for a honest day
s worth in a moving job the day before, but surrounding the car are about 25 men eagerly trying to
speak with my father. Not only was my early morning routine nap disrupted, I truly believed I woke
up to a nightmare. As we drove away, my dad laughed telling me to say goodbye to the blue house.
After this experience, I simply stated to my dad that I would never return to this place ever again. I
was legitimately horrified and pledged to never return. As a kid, I could simply decide to ignore and
choose to not care for what I had witnessed, but as I grew up, curiosity and acquired knowledge
promoted awareness. I simply became intrigued, and decided to confront a childhood fear. I was not
expecting for this fear to then transform into compassion, but while gaining exceedingly more
information, I have grown a profound interest that I believe needs to be exposed to in our society.

Summary Of Troubling Clarity
Another important research issue that is important in the research process is the writing style and the
use of language. In her work Troubling Clarity: The Politics of Accessible Language , Patti Lather
focuses on the role of language in research. Specifically, she argues that language has the ability to
make a message more or less accessible. To this end, Lather discusses her experimental approach of
writing research. In this approach, she attempts to write a text with multiple voices and one that can
speak to a broad public audience. She argues that it is important for researchers to engage a language
and a style of writing that does just not inform the readers but also provokes them to think critically
and develop their own views and understandings

Examining Good and Bad Conscience in Friedrich Nietzsche s...
Friedrich Nietzsche is recognized for being one of the most influential German philosophers of the
modern era. He is known for his works on genealogy of morality, which is a way to study values and
concepts. In Genealogy of Morals, Friedrich Nietzsche mentions that values and concepts have a
history because of the many different meanings that come with it. Nietzsche focused on traditional
ethical theories, especially those rooted in religion. Not being a religious man, he believed that human
life has no moral purpose except for the significance that human beings give it. People from different
backgrounds and circumstances in history bend morality s meaning, making it cater to the norms of
their society. For example, the concept of what is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The concept of guilt was first recognized as being similar with the German word debt. A person in
debt was seen as being the one guilty (Nietzsche 2010). According to Nietzsche, men were privileged
with the ability to make and keep promises. With that in mind he always believed that in order for
society to continue to work, men must enter into a world of promises that they can keep and deliver
back. In order to keep a promise one must require a powerful memory and a confidence that their
promise will be carried out. For whatever reason man is unsuccessful or fails to remember to keep a
promise he then becomes the indebted to the creditor , the person to whom the promise was made
(Rattan 2010). The creditor is then looked at as being superior over the debtor, while the debtor is
inferior to the creditor, because he owes him something. As a way of gaining personal satisfaction, the
creditor would go through extremes to feel paid off by the debtor , hence, punishment (Rattan 2010).
In the essay of genealogy of morals it mentioned that as some forms of punishment they would,
impale on a stake, ripping people apart or stamping them to death with horses, boiling the criminal in
oil or wine (Rattan 2010). Other forms of punishment also included the creditors taking the debtors
valuable possessions or inflict pain as a method of causing

Modern History Assignment
How did European Influences from the early 19th century affect Morocco?
Europe has had incredible influence on Morocco and Northern Africa, and its strategic location
between greater Africa and the Iberian Peninsula has shaped its history. The area has been occupied by
a vast litany of civilizations, from ancient Romans, and Arabic occupants bringing Islam, to life as a
protectorate of France in 1912. The European occupation of Morocco between the 19th and 20th

policies, severing all trade with Europe because at the time, the shari a was interpreted to have
forbidden trade with Christians, however some historians believe that the was actually because of a
long running non aggressive conflict Morocco had with Spain and Portugal. These policies caused
mass famine and rioting in Fez in 1820 , and all but brought the Sultan down until he paid off the
armies. Abderrahmane was an enthusiastic advocate of foreign trade, signing trade treaties with
Portugal, France, Italy and Britain. These treaties went a long way to improving Morocco s
international position and when Morocco entered a drought in 1825; they imported 2.5 million

to decide whether to support religious brothers, or to live with their new and powerful neighbor, he

To What Extent Was The American Revolution A Class Struggle
1 In what ways was the revolution a class struggle? After the seven years war, the impending class
division was inevitable. As the revolution began demanding more and more support, it was clear that
the revolution was not appealing to slaves nor Native Americans. Additionally, it was the bigotry of
the revolutionary leadership that led to the distrust of poor mobs in addition to slaves and Native
Americans. However, as demand for capable soldiers grew, the revolutionary leadership was forced to
recruit the less desirables . The military became a place of promise for the less fortunate, in hopes of
creating a new identity and gaining respect and or wealth. 2 How did the revolution fail to solve those
class differences? While the cause began searching for extra soldiers to support the cause, the soldiers
joining had further hedonistic motivations, and found that the military was nothing more than a
political conversion ploy. The military struggled to stay united under a common goal, and as Loyalists

Discovery can encompass the experience of discovering something for the first time or rediscovering
something that has been lost, forgotten or concealed. They can be sudden and unexpected or deliberate
and carefully planned. There are many motives for discovery such as, curiosity, necessity and wonder.
Discovery can be emotional, creative, intellectual, physical and spiritual. These discoveries ultimately
result in new worlds and perspectives, new ideas and future possibilities and new understandings.
My related text is the Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Through becoming friends
with Sam and Patrick, Charlie the protagonist in this novel, is introduced to an entirely different world
from what he is used to. Charlie goes from having almost no friends, to have a whole group of older,
alternative and eclectic friends, many of which have values, ideas and hobbies that Charlie has never
experienced before. An example of this is Mary Elizabeth, an aggressive Buddhist with a belly button
ring who runs a magazine and stage show based on the Rocky Horror Picture Show. As Charlie is a
wallflower he notices these differences and quirks amongst his friends and actually takes the time to
consider them. This is evident through Charlie s Christmas presents to his friends, each far from
generic, instead well suited to each person s unique personality. Through his friends, Charlie

The Chicago School Of Architecture
The Chicago School of Architecture was developed by William Le Baron Jenney between the years of

as well like William Holabird, Louis Sullivan, Martin Roche, and others as well. There were two
schools made during this period The First Chicago School of Architecture and The Second Chicago
School of Architecture. The second school centered around the European Modernism. Three factors
that contributed to the Chicago School of Architecture where the rapid need to build buildings to serve
the industrial society, the development of construction using steel, and the strong desire to create a
modern style. To begin with, after the fire of 1871, Chicago became a dense population, area and the
value of the state lived up. By 1890, Chicago had more than one million people and had surpassed
Philadelphia population and became second biggest city in the United States (Lowe 1). People started
to travel over to Chicago and started to settle there. The more people traveling to Chicago meant that
they would have to build more buildings both commercial and property. The problem was that
Chicago stood in a deluge, and then it was hard to build homes using the techniques they knew. They

In my opinion LVMH is so successful in China first of all because their prices and glamorous prestige
is reflected onto its customers and the Chinese luxury customers value being recognized as wealthy
elites having a high social status. Secondly, ever since their opening LVMH had an exclusively unique
heritage and craftsmanship, that made the brand so attractive for the customers. Another reason why

ideas do you think LVMH should pursue to encourage Chinese customers to purchase LVMH products
in China?
One of the main reasons why Chinese customers prefer to shop abroad is the fact that it is seen as a
better show off and also the prices tend to be lower due to the taxes that are applied for luxury
products in China. No matter the fact that the sales of their products in other locations than China
bring them important profits in Europe, LVMH is still trying to redirect the Chinese people to buy
their products in China. One of the measures they took in this aim was to limit the number of leather
products available on the LVMH European market and also limit the working hours in their stores in
certain European locations such as Paris, which is one of the most wanted and perceived as the most
preferred shopping destination.
On the other hand, they are doing all their best to assure premium services in the Chinese stores, so
that no matter the price differences that may interfere, the customers would still be satisfied with the

Teaching At A Community Special School Essay
Teaching in the hospital provides learning at a community special school or a foundation school
located within a hospital under special arrangement by section nineteen of the education act (DFE,
2015). The aim of hospital teaching is to provide education to those pupils who are deemed by

shame. Of course I wanted to be in on the fun, laughing and jumping and doing gymnastics with the
rest of West Mountain Camp s population. But instead, I felt forced into a reputation created for me so
many years ago as the quiet, calm and mature twin sister of the rambunctious and outgoing Chloe
Blumberg. Always sitting on the sidelines, reading my books, doling out my wise words and keeping
my sister in check. The funny thing is, I can t remember it ever being different. I was always told by
my mom, dad and grandparents that I was the quiet and mature one of the duo, and that I didn t need
to get attention in the way Chloe always did because my intelligence was enough to give me the
recognition I needed. Chloe was just always so loud and clumsy that by default I was destined to be
the other one, more in

Upon arrival; there were two detectives, there was a patrol group, and they were already looking for JonBenet. Ransom asked for $118,000, and they would kill JonBenet if they didn t cooperate. More importantly the fingerprints of Burke was found on the bowl of pineapple discovered in the kitchen post murder. While Burke was questioned briefly, he was never seriously considered as a suspect and was often shielded by his parents. Burke was only other person in home, was the center of attention until Patsey came along. Burk even had emotional outbreaks which included hitting JonBenet with golf club.. Ramsey family could have covered case up to protect Burk JonBenét s body was found in the basement of the family home there was a cord tied around her neck, her wrists were tied above her head and there was some tape over her mouth., the location of her body was unusual. • 6. The Federalists And Democratic Republicans From 1789 to 1816, the Federalists and Democratic Republicans approached many problems differently, sometimes however, they had the same solutions to problems which were posed by England and the Native Americans. The Federalists and Democratic Republicans both had different and sometimes similar viewpoints on how to solve the problems they faced during this particular time period. Federalists supported a strong, huge government that had a loose constriction of the constitution. They also supported the National Bank, exercise tax. Also, they thought tariffs should be high, and they believed in an industrial world filled with huge businesses and mass production of goods. However, the Democratic Republicans wanted a more agrarian culture. They did not want a huge government, National bank, excise taxes, and they wanted the tariffs to be low. Some difficulties that the two parties faced were that the British created were impressments of sailors, assisting the Native Americans in war against the United States, and the Orders in Council of 1805. The Native Americans also generated problems for America because they resisted land expansion. Because of their standards and beliefs, this shows how the two parties faced these particular problems that were caused by Britain and the Native Americans. Therefore, the Federalists and Democratic Republicans solved problems differently, but sometimes they had the same idea to work together in order to effectively fix both of the parties ... • 8. Justice And Justice In Hamlet The definition of justice can mean many distinctive things. However it can make people forgive, or get revenge. I think it just depends on the situation. In my Final Essay, I m going to answer this question for you, Can justice and forgiveness go hand in hand? There are numerous amounts of examples I will show you, and one of them even includes a film called Simon Birch. Justice is what you fight and earn properly. Revenge is naïve, and can be hurtful, if somebody hurts you, handle it maturely and respectfully. The well known play by Shakespeare, Hamlet; is one example of justice and forgiveness. Hamlets uncle, Claudius kills his own brother, Hamlet Sr. He puts poison in his ear while he was dozing. Hamlet finds out and doesn t tell anyone, everyone think he has gone mad, even his own mother, Gertrude. Claudius marries Gertrude and becomes king. Hamlet continues to make a play about how Claudius killed Hamlet Sr. and Claudius feels uncomfortable and leaves. During the whole play, Hamlet tries to get revenge on Claudius in whatever possible way he can. However, Claudius convinces everybody that Hamlet is lying about what he has been saying about him. At the end of the play, Hamlet and Claudius duel to the death. Claudius gets wounded and Hamlet feels like he has won and that he finally got revenge and justice for his father. So, in that story justice and forgiveness can go hand in hand, it s all about how you handle the situation. My second example is from a movie called ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The Gender Differences And Consequences Of Gender... Socialization is this expectation that you must live by with the rules of conduct and behavior. Where you have laws and must live by because it s a must or you ll be punished but socialization is where you have to follow nature s law although its not negatively reinforced. You are to do things that people expect and if you do otherwise you are looked at weirdly or thought to be the odd ball. Which then brings me to gender socialization, some people are very strict when it comes to gender roles. For example video games. Some boys and girls are limited to the type of games they are allowed to play based on their gender. Gender socialization is socialization but for just gender roles. So girls can only do girly things and boy may not because it s just for girls and vise versa. Girl are to not participate in male games because it s a guy thing. A few examples would be two brothers playing wrestling because that s what they watch on tv and the sister that wants to join older or younger but can t because mommy and daddy said she couldn t. You might wonder and ask why and at times you can get responses like: she s a girl she can t play with boys that dangerous it s a boy games, you re just a little girl why don t you play with you baby doll little girls don t play that you can get hurt but the problem they don t see is even though yes it s possible she can get hurt to so can the two other kids. The nephrons form in segments much like an Earthworm. The corpuscle is part of the nephron that filters blood, and the tubule send back water and solutes (nutrients) into the blood. The bad and useless componets of the blood are sent to the ureter which is where urine is removed from the body. Solid wastes are processed through the digestive tract, and removed from the body out of the anus. In general, the active and fast swimming fishes have numerous and better developed glomeruli than sluggish fish have. Beyenbach and Baustian (1989), Beyenbach and Dantzler (1990), Baustian and Beyenbach (1993), Beyenbach (1995) and Beyenbach and Lui (1996) have provided a wealth information on the comparative physiology of the proximal tubule. The result was what, conceptually, could only be called a homicide. This is the conclusion that was reached by an official medical examiner. The seriousness of the incident is clearly exacerbated by the fact that on the basis of Garner saying that he could not breathe, the police should have known that they were killing him. Feudalism was a relationship among the upper class, in which a member of the nobility was granted land, and in return promised to protect the king, who gave them their land. The nobility referred to are counts in Europe and daimyo in Japan. Both are generally governors who rule over a substantial subsection of the empire with certain duties and obligations. A clear definition as well as the recognition of core elements surrounding the decision making process is required to reach a suitable decision. This paper will outline prospect theory and discuss the differences between prospect theory and expected utility theory. Following will be, as explanation of the biases and heuristics of the investment decision making process. Part 1. Prospect theory is an important alternative descriptive theory for decision making under unreliable situation (Kahneman and Tversky 1979), which includes real life selection and psychological analysis between choices that involve risk. It suggests that memory comprises of three separate stores, the sensory memory store, the short term memory and the long term memory, each store having a specific and relatively inflexible function: Information enters and is initially stored in SM which holds information for very brief periods of time if the information is not concentrated on. There does seem to be fairly strong support for a difference between LTM and STM in terms of duration, capacity and effects of brain damage. The model is too simple and inflexible and fails to take account of factors such as the strategies people employ to remember things. It also places emphasis on the amount of information that can be processed rather than its nature. Some things are simply easier to remember than others, perhaps because they are more interesting, more distinctive, funnier, or whatever. The multistore model cannot account for this. Specifically, she argues that language has the ability to make a message more or less accessible. To this end, Lather discusses her experimental approach of writing research. In this approach, she attempts to write a text with multiple voices and one that can speak to a broad public audience. She argues that it is important for researchers to engage a language and a style of writing that does just not inform the readers but also provokes them to think critically and develop their own views and understandings ... • 29. Examining Good and Bad Conscience in Friedrich Nietzsche s... Friedrich Nietzsche is recognized for being one of the most influential German philosophers of the modern era. He is known for his works on genealogy of morality, which is a way to study values and concepts. In Genealogy of Morals, Friedrich Nietzsche mentions that values and concepts have a history because of the many different meanings that come with it. Nietzsche focused on traditional ethical theories, especially those rooted in religion. Not being a religious man, he believed that human life has no moral purpose except for the significance that human beings give it. People from different backgrounds and circumstances in history bend morality s meaning, making it cater to the norms of their society. For example, the concept of what is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The concept of guilt was first recognized as being similar with the German word debt. A person in debt was seen as being the one guilty (Nietzsche 2010). According to Nietzsche, men were privileged with the ability to make and keep promises. With that in mind he always believed that in order for society to continue to work, men must enter into a world of promises that they can keep and deliver back. In order to keep a promise one must require a powerful memory and a confidence that their promise will be carried out. For whatever reason man is unsuccessful or fails to remember to keep a promise he then becomes the indebted to the creditor , the person to whom the promise was made (Rattan 2010). The creditor is then looked at as being superior over the debtor, while the debtor is inferior to the creditor, because he owes him something. As a way of gaining personal satisfaction, the creditor would go through extremes to feel paid off by the debtor , hence, punishment (Rattan 2010). In the essay of genealogy of morals it mentioned that as some forms of punishment they would, impale on a stake, ripping people apart or stamping them to death with horses, boiling the criminal in oil or wine (Rattan 2010). Other forms of punishment also included the creditors taking the debtors valuable possessions or inflict pain as a method of causing ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As the revolution began demanding more and more support, it was clear that the revolution was not appealing to slaves nor Native Americans. Additionally, it was the bigotry of the revolutionary leadership that led to the distrust of poor mobs in addition to slaves and Native Americans. However, as demand for capable soldiers grew, the revolutionary leadership was forced to recruit the less desirables . Secondly, ever since their opening LVMH had an exclusively unique heritage and craftsmanship, that made the brand so attractive for the customers. One of the main reasons why Chinese customers prefer to shop abroad is the fact that it is seen as a better show off and also the prices tend to be lower due to the taxes that are applied for luxury products in China. No matter the fact that the sales of their products in other locations than China bring them important profits in Europe, LVMH is still trying to redirect the Chinese people to buy their products in China. One of the measures they took in this aim was to limit the number of leather products available on the LVMH European market and also limit the working hours in their stores in certain European locations such as Paris, which is one of the most wanted and perceived as the most preferred shopping destination.
