Abstract
This research is titled as the impact of liquidity and capital structure on the financial performance of
Cement sector firm. Capital structure and liquidity both play a vital role in growth and profitability of
the firm. The data of fifteen cement sector firms were randomly analyzed, for the period of 2008 to
2014. The statistical approaches i.e. correlation, fixed effect, random effect and hausman tests were
applied. The results indicated that all capital structure variables, i.e. Debt to equity, debt ratio, funded
capital ratio and Funded debt ratio has negative relationship with firm financial performance of these
selected cement sector firms. The results also indicated that liquidity proxies, i.e. quick ratio and
current ratio have significant positive impact on the financial performance of these cement sector
firms. On the bases of the findings of this study it is suggested that these firm s manager should take
care of its capital structure proxies as it negatively impacting its financial performance. On the bases

Pro And Negative Effects Of Medical Technology
Though underappreciated, advancements in medical technology are imperative to the success of the
human race as a whole. For instance, some of the most common medical procedures such as
amputation, surgeries, the modern ambulance, and anesthesia inhalers were created and popularized
during the United States Civil War (Rowe). Both during the civil war and currently, the advancements
decrease death tolls while making modern and future treatments safer, faster, and overall more
efficient. They have also given the more prevailing advancements a stepping stone to develop and
grow from, allowing the forthcoming medical technology to further advance. We see this same pattern
happening perpetually, creating a loop of advancements that continue to build upon themselves and
each other.
The U.S. has the most medically advanced medical care system in the world. However, its services are
mainly available to the affluent and middle class consumers who have the financial means to demand
these services (Botehlo 1991) (Dewar). Full medical care isn t always readily available to all; only
those who may afford it have access to it. This is a result of the cost of the services themselves being
higher, due to the lack of supply (so to speak) and a growing demand. However, Dewar stated, The
practice of defensive medicine had an indirect impact on technology utilization through the pressure
for increased availability of technology (Dewar). These pressures have encouraged the United States

Reflection Of The Internship Movie

Business Report on
The Internship (2013)
Directed by: Shawn Levy
Starring: Owen Wilson Vince Vaughn
Brief Summary
The Internship is a film revolved around two businessmen who have hit the curb with their recent
downfall in their previous company. Billy McMahon (played by Vaughn) finds a position as an intern
at Google and signs his friend Nick Campbell (played by Wilson) up. Most of the movie is set at the
Google headquarters, and the two businessmen are surrounded by youth (most of the age of around
21) and given instructions of the course by Mr. Roger Chetty (played by Aasif Mandvi). The interns
are divided into groups, and whom, at the end of the course, only that group will be given full time ...

The interviewers ask the businessmen; You re shrunken down to the size of nickels and drop to the
bottom of a blender. What do you do? Billy and Nick start to rant about how it s impossible and going
off topic, in the end Nick confessing that him and Billy have been in the blender and given up, and
how they have gotten themselves out and here they are, and how if they really want to know what
happens when you take the guys out the blender, then they re hire them. The question was probably
asked by the interviewers to test the creative thinking of the two businessmen.
When Lyle and Google are considering them he points out that the goal was to find people with a
different way of thinking, as well as the fact that they have more years of sales and experience than the
age of most of the interns. As well he labels the businessmen as out of the box thinkers who turned
being stuck in a blender into an advantage. Another example of creative thinking that the team
develops throughout the movie is at the end when they persuade the pizza company to go Google,
which gets them the jobs at the end. Billy and Nick use their ways to talk to the business

Credit Card Fraud
Running Head: Credit Card Fraud
Impact of Credit Card Fraud
Outline
Card Credit Fraud
Thesis Statement: Credit card fraud is an inclusive term for larceny and deception committed using a
credit card or any similar payment mechanism as a fraudulent source of funds in a transaction.
The purpose may be to attain goods without paying, or to achieve illegal resources from an account.
Credit card fraud is also an appendage to identity theft. According to the Federal Trade Commission,
while identity theft had been holding steady for the last few years, it saw a 21 percent increase in
2008..( Consumer Sentinel Network Data Book: January December 2008 (PDF). Federal Trade
Commission February 26, 2009.) The costs of card fraud in 2006 ... Show more content on

They require a personal identification number (PIN) which may also be a violation. Card holders have
several countermeasures, including complex software which can assemble a vest interaction and
guesstimate the possibility of fraud. For example, a large trade occurring in a great distance from the
cardholder s home might seem mistrustful. Merchants may be commanded to call the card holder for
authentication, or reject the transaction or do whatever they want. Customers must call the issuer and
prove their identity to get their card back.
III. Compromised accounts Card bank account information is stored in a number of formats. Account
numbers formally the Primary Account Number (PAN) are often stamped or imprinted on the card,
and a magnetic streak on the back contains the data in machine readable format. Fields can vary, but
the most common include: * Name of card holder * Account number * Expiration date *
Verification/CVV code A. Card not present transactions
The major routes of fraud which is contrary for merchants who sale and ship products are the mail and
the internet as they affect legitimate mail order and Internet merchants. The card should be present
(called CNP, card not present) so the merchant can trust the issuer (or someone purporting to be so)
issuers present their information in any way they

The Islamic Religion And Islam
These three religions, Judaism, Christianity and, Islam, all support a peaceful world and advocate
peace in their main teachings and sacred texts. (Mt Alvernia Task sheet) There are more than three
religions in the world but these three religions are some of the main religions that profoundly support
this statement. The Islamic religion is often portrayed by the Western media as a violent religion that
does not teach or believe in interfaith or world peace, however through an interfaith understanding it
can be seen that the Islamic religion does in fact believe in interfaith peace. Through comprehensive
examination of the Islamic teachings and beliefs, it can be seen that the Islamic religion advocates
interfaith understanding and peace. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(M.Slick, para. 2.) The second Pillar is Salat, which refers to prayer. The Islamic prayer start off with
the confession of sins that purifies the body at the start, and then ends with the purification of the soul.
There are five different types of prayer Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha (M.Slick, para. 6.) The third
Pillar is Saum, which is the fasting or Ramadan (as it is more commonly known), which is a month of
fasting where followers will deny themselves necessities and seeks forgiveness from Allah (who is
seen to be a merciful God) The fourth Pillar is Zakat, which is the Pillar of charity, when a follower
donates to the poor they are submitting themselves to Allah, this is seen as a form of worshiping to the
Gods. The last Pillar is Hajj, which is the pilgrimage that all Muslims should make to Mecca, it is also
seen as an act of worship. As seen from the Five Pillars it is clear that if people understood the Islamic
religion they would see that it does promote interfaith understandings and peace. For example in the
Five Pillars the Third Pillar, Saum (Ramadan), the Islamic people deprive themselves of their needs,
during light hours, so they can beg for forgiveness from their God Allah. This clearly shows that the
Islamic religion is a peaceful religion that advocates peace in their teachings. Through Islamic rituals,
practices and the Five Pillars that the Islamic religion is based upon, it is clearly seen that the Islamic

The Medical Science of Cardiology Have you ever felt your heart race after a run, or when you watch
a movie, your heart stops? Well, your heart is an incredibly important organ within the human body
that keeps you alive and helps run your body. The heart is such an important component of the body. If
something goes wrong, it needs to be taken care of immediately; this urgent job is given to

Japan, the United States, and Pearl Harbor Essay
What were the main mistakes the Japanese made and how did such a tiny force beat one of the largest
naval forces of the time?
One of the United States biggest advantages, but is leased credited is the cryptology subsection of the
US Navy War Department. Now a bit of back story after the Battle of Guadalcanal with the Japanese,
the US has just lost a carrier and the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier is limping back to US Navy
Headquarters at Pearl Harbor Hawaii along with a captain who is in the infirmary, he got sick during
one of the Guadalcanal Battles. When they finally arrive at US Navy Headquarters in Pearl Harbor
Hawaii, they dock and await orders. Now back to the Cryptology Dept. that made this one of the

Another advantage that we had, ironically, was surprise was on our side this time. Remember the
Yorktown and how I mentioned it being badly damaged and had limped back to Pearl Harbor. Well the
Carrier required a complete overhaul and the Captain went to the hospital to recover while Nimitz and
the other cryptologists tried to figure out what AF meant, (at this point, they did not know that AF
meant Midway and not the Aleutian Islands) and who would replace the sick Captain. Once Nimitz
talked to the Captain, he asked for his recommendation and he said one of the destroyer Captains
should command it and Nimitz was surprised but agreed. Then Nimitz went to the repair yard at the
docks and when they were asked about how long it would take to repair the carrier because they
needed it for wherever AF was. The repair crew replied that to fix the damaged carrier they would
need 3 months to repair it Nimitz replied saying we don t have 3 months, I will give you 3 days to fix
it. When they were done it was not pretty, but it was seaworthy they did all the repairs in 3 days in
what would should have taken 3 months to do.
Once the Yorktown was combat ready it left Pearl Harbor for Midway Island. While at Midway itself,
the island was preparing itself for the attack by the Japanese.

The War Of Syri Origins And Likely Geopolitical Consequences
The On Going War in Syria: Origins and Likely Geopolitical Consequences
I. Introduction
The war, which has engulfed Syria, continuously attracts the attention of journalists and diplomats. It
has already taken lives of at least 76000 people (Gladstone and Ghannam 4). Moreover, this
confrontation has turned millions of Syrian citizens into refugees who need to seek asylum in various
countries. To some degree, this conflict illustrates the instability of countries located in the Middle
East. One cannot easily identify a single underlying cause of this war. Instead, much attention should
be paid to the combination of factors that are related to the political landscape of the country, its
religious tensions, economic recession, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In particular, one should speak about Hafez al Assad and his son Bashar al Assad (Yoo 199). In many
cases, they brutally suppressed every form of opposition to their rule. As a result, many people began
to perceive violent protests as the only possible way of changing the political life of the country. Apart
from that, the government used firearms during the protests that took place in 2011 (Yoo 199). This
event provoked this war and polarised the society. This is one of the issues that should be taken into
account.
The discontent with the policies of the state intensified because the government failed to develop
mechanisms that could contribute to economic growth. One should keep in mind that the country was
affected by such problems as declining oil production and increasing unemployment (Winckler 94).
Additionally, the economic policies of the state lacked transparency and consistency. In many cases,
new economic policies implemented by the Assad government benefited only those people who could
establish close relations with government officials. The representatives of the government stated that
they wanted to deregulate the economy; nevertheless, this deregulation was not achieved because too
many bureaucratic barriers remained. Moreover, unemployment affected primarily young adults who
were more likely to take part in the protests against the government. These economic challenges
became more acute due to the growing

Police Officer Compliance Report
In the course of my career, I have been fortunate to have made few decisions which I truly considered
to be difficult. In each of the cases I have recalled in preparation for this essay, adherence to
department policy or to the law has made the decision a natural one. It is when the decision creates the
potential for disagreement or conflict with a co worker which has proved to make the decision itself
more challenging. In recent positions I held working with, or later for, U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement, I experienced this particular challenge involving one of our office s Detention and
Deportation Officers. Working as a contractor, there was the occasional feeling of the us vs. them
mentality projected by a few of the officers. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He had already heard about the case I was bringing to him. To my discomfort, the alleged affront had
become a topic of office conversation among the officers and command staff. Without hesitation, the
officer responded verbally and in writing the two individuals were clearly not the same. I forwarded
the evaluation of the prints by the second officer to the original officer with my re affirmed conclusion
the two individuals were not the same person. I, again, unlinked the records and performed extensive
data integrity in EARM to prevent the same mistake from occurring in the future.
This experience left a lasting impression on me. I used this experience to improve my procedures for
handling future cases of a similar nature. In the absence of having quality biometrics suitable for
scanning through the Automated Biometric Identification System, or IDENT, I would have a qualified
officer review them in addition to my own review. Additionally, the experience helped to establish my
analytical abilities and credibility with many of the other officers and supervisors in our office. The
officer and I were able to maintain an amicable working relationship for the duration of my
employment, and recently have become more socially acquainted in activities outside of work. While
the experience, at the time, was both challenging and frustrating, I feel I was able to grow

Persuasive Essay About Plastic Pollution
Throughout our entire planet, humans have made their mark of existence in innumerable beautiful and
substantial ways; however, there are numberless ways that humans have put our planet, and the life
living on it, in danger. Pollution is a problem that cannot easily be solved by one person; nonetheless,
if more people would accomplish the meager changes necessary to lessen this problem, the plastic
pollution on our planet could decrease greatly. Plastic pollution is slowly killing and disrupting our
planet and the animals living on it; however, with a few changes to our everyday lives, we can help
save the world.
Every year, more than 300 million tons of plastic are made, this poses as a threat when you take into

The first step that we must take is to start changing the way the plastic producers create their products.
Nearly all single use plastic factories around the world do not take responsibility for their product
being part of the issue, this mindset, however, ought to be the first thing we shall abandon. Once these
manufacturers take responsibility, they must design a more environmentally friendly plastic that can
be recycled or reused easier. Another solution to this problem would be taxing or billing the
manufacturers of these harmful plastics; by calculating how much harmful chemicals are created by
each plastic manufacturer, you could create a specific percentage to tax each factory for their products.
By taxing these plastic manufacturers, it will form the idea of creating a more environmentally
friendly formula for their plastics much more desirable than before. If the plastic companies were to
adjust to these changes, we would be taking an extensive step toward creating a better, more clean,

Jonbenet Murder Case Analysis
The murder of JonBenet was an inside job; and I believe either Patsy or Burke did it. Despite the
compelling nature of the evidence, a lack thereof means no official conclusion is agreed upon, and
each piece of the story has its own suspicions. To start this confusing case, the ransom note was a
significant clue. On stationary found in the house, written was an abnormally long 2.5 page ransom
note. The amount of money asked for was an oddly specific number, $118,000, which was equal to the
bonus John Ramsey had recently received. Also, when the time passed for the ransom to be delivered,
the parents did not appear to be alarmed. Next, we look into the mysterious 911 call made by Pasty

Education In Special Education
Special education is student centered where the needs of the student come before the disability of the
student. Special education teachers create their classroom and instruction based on who their students
are and what services they need in order to be successful in their learning. Merriam Webster (2015)
defines special education as classrooms and instruction designed for students with special needs.
Special education is a service provided by public schools to students who require additional support
through specialized instruction, class materials, and/or changes in their learning environment in order
for them to meet their learning objectives.
Special education teachers maintain challenging expectations for individuals with exceptionalities to
develop the highest possible learning outcomes and quality of life potential in ways that respect their
dignity, culture, language, and background. Special education allows students to receive personalized
instruction in their least restrictive learning environment to their specific needs based on their
disabilities. Students with disabilities who receive their education through special education services
are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful in their future education or
careers after high school. Teaching students who require additional support due to their disabilities in
order to learn the general curriculum involve teachers to facilitate differentiation instruction
throughout the classroom.

Gail has established a thoughtful relationship between emotions and moods, and the Affective Events

Sociological Analysis Of The Help
The 2011 movie, The Help, based on the Kathryn Stockett novel by the same name, is centered around
the inequalities that the black maids, and race in general, faced throughout the 1960s. From a
sociological standpoint, the movie contains many concepts pertaining to race and ethnicity and helps
others to better understand the differences between majority and minority groups.
The Help is focused upon race, a socially defined category of people who share inherited physical
characteristics and whom others see as being a distinct group, and the racism that the black maids
faced throughout the 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi. Although the black maids are good people, they

Feminism is the belief in the social, political, economic equality of the sexes, but we can see the lack
of it in the 1960s. When Skeeter receives a job working for the newspaper, she is assigned the

clean. Skeeter breaks the norms, a social behavior that is typical or expected, by getting a job in the

group norms, when she pranks Hilly by putting the wrong initiative in the newspaper and also when
she writes the book in order to help the black women. Skeeter is also pressured to find a husband
because it is believed that women are incapable of providing for themselves and need a man. Along
with feminism, we can see gender work, viewing types of jobs as men s work and women s work.

Irrevocably, Ron Weasley is a riveting and remarkably relatable member of the Golden Trio.
Unfortunately, the film adaptations of the Harry Potter books have slandered his depth and relegated

Kazimir Malevich As A Modernist
In this essay I shall analyze the work of Kazimir Malevich, and examine whether he can be described

his work, and how he came to suprematism. Then I will focus on the final period of his life and

He was constantly developing his style, and looking for innovative techniques and forms. As he said, I
think that first of all art is that not everyone can understand a thing in depths. This is left only to the
black sheep of time. 1 In 1915 he announced the revolutionary program of suprematism, the most
radical direction of abstraction. He rejected the iconography of visual art, recognizing a straight line
and a square as the symbols of man s superiority over chaos. It was a revolutionary moment that
forever signed him into history as a leading representative of avant garde modernism. In his manifesto,
he mentioned: By Suprematism I mean the supremacy of pure feeling in creative art. To the
Suprematist the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, meaningless; the
significant thing is feeling. 2 In 1930 Malevich began to slowly move away from suprematism,
creating similar works in neo suprematism. Gradually, he began to turn back to the style he used at the
beginning of his career. Towards the end of his life he became more and more isolated, departed from
abstraction and came back to painting simplified landscapes, realistic paintings, and portraits.
Malevich died at the age of 56, in illness, as communist authorities did not allow him to leave the

get caught up in the purpose of the loan and neglect finding a true motive. That is, a member may say
that they are applying for a credit card so that they can build credit. Building credit is very likely not a
true motive. We want to know why they have that desire. As is often asked in loan review did they just
wake up one day with a desire to build credit? We need to understand true motive to be able to be
significant for the member and make an informed credit decision. While the motive entails why us and
why now we also want to answer the question why this. We want to be able to find the best solution
for our member that we can. This entails finding the right product as well as cleaning the plate. The
next six questions help us do this. They can be split into two categories. First is further understanding
our relationship with the borrower. We want to know if we are their PFI, if they have a checking
account, etc. Second is assessing the full financial picture. We want to understand what they drive,
their income, their assets, their ratios, and which way the credit score is trending. These principles all
lead back to the question do we believe they will pay us back? Ratios, income, and assets help us
understand the member s capacity to pay the loan back. Relationship and credit history help us assess

Case Study Of Vanilla Rum Apple Butter
1. Product
The product that I have chosen for this project is a food product, Vanilla Rum Apple Butter. Apple
butter is made pretty much like apple sauce except you add spices or flavorings to it and slow cook it
for multiple hours. Slow cooking apple butter for multiple hours will result in it becoming thick and
spreadable. The Vanilla Rum Apple Butter would mainly be sold online and at local farmers market.
My target market could potentially be a wide range of food consumers. The one target consumer
would be anyone who likes apple butter and who is wanting to change it up a little bit from your
average apple butter. Then you have your apple lovers, your rum drinkers and anyone who likes the
flavor vanilla. You also have your morning toast eaters due to most people who consume this product

This Is America Analysis
This is America On May 6, Donald Glover also known as, Childish Gambino, released a music video
that is called This is America that shocked social media. Childish Gambino s video had 21 million
views and counting in just a matter of 2 days. The music video takes place in an abandoned
warehouse. Childish Gambino gives examples on how America deals with traumatic events happening
everyday in society. Gun control, police brutality, racism, and murders are the major events being
expressed throughout this video. He does not explain the significance of this video, he states there is

In the beginning of the video it starts off by an african american man walking up to a guitar and
starting to play it, it goes to then childish gambino dancing in a weird way. This is portraying Jim
crow. Seconds later he shoots the guy in the back of the head. You see in the video that the gun is
handled with care, but the body is dragged away without care. This shows how americans value guns
more than human lives. During the whole video you see him dancing with a group of kids, they follow
his every move. The dancing distracts you from all of the chaos in the background. This could be a
symbolism by the youth not being involved with the news and just going on with their lives like its
nothing major. Half way through the video there is a church choir happily singing and then Childish
Gambino comes in starts dancing and smiling then seconds later he shoots them all up with an AK47.
This represents the Charleston church massive shooting. Toward the end of the video you see Childish
Gambino running for his life. He s running from a mob of all white people, why? Because he will
always be running since he s seen as a criminal . Childish Gambino This is America music video is a
real eye opener for some people because of the strong impacts and symbolisms it has in it. This video

Manifestation of Communism
Marx, K. F. Engels Bourgeois and proletarians
Tom Considine
Marx, K. F. Engels (1972 [1848], p.1) said The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of
class struggles. (Marx, K. F. Engels 1972 [1848], p.1) This is the opening text from Marx and it is the
theme of the rest of the chapter. Marx writes of the oppression of the proletarians and how the
capitalist bourgeoisie have commodified them. He describes his disapproval for the capitalists stating
that there is revolt from the proletariats due to the exploitation that was taking place, this would be the
same for any capitalist society. Throughout the text there is the overriding idea that society would
benefit with equality and public ownership (socialism). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Marx is trying to convey that capitalism is a poor way for a society to operate however i can see that
this method would be more efficient and competitive, thus increasing the productivity of the economy.
Marx s idea is that property should be publicly owned, individuals should cooperate, production is
social and everything is shared equally. Marx, K. F. Engels (1972 [1848], p.42) said Of all the classes
that stand face to face with the Bourgeois today, the proletariat alone is a really revolutionary class
(Marx, K. F. Engels 1972 [1848], p.42). Marx believes this is because the laborers where the
individuals who created socialism because they wanted to fight for their rights and become equal.
They succeeded because they were the majority and therefore had a power over the Bourgeois because
with the labour there would be no capitalism. The first reason I disagree with socialism is because
price signals become distorted or absent, the market price for goods and services cannot be rationally
allocated if the individuals aren t earning income in a free market. If all individuals receive an equal
income and everything is shared then what is the incentive to work harder? If there is no incentive to
earn a higher wage then individuals may be less motivated. Decreased motivation means that there
will be a decrease in efficiency and thus a decrease in production, therefore the economy will suffer.
The last argument against socialism is that it the advancement of

The Importance Of The Arts At School
Importance of the Arts in School
People often view artistic activities as a leisure activity, so though they may agree it is a nice thing to
have, they may not think it is essential to a person s life. It is the same for schools, with tight budgets,
art is usually the first subject cut from a student s learning experience because it is not viewed as a
priority. However, with all of the academic benefits students can gain from being involved in any type
of art subject, it is important that schools allow students an easy access to art. By making art programs
more prominent, schools would be offering students a chance to improve academic performance,
increase happiness, and open up minds.
Though art is mostly viewed as a hobby, it benefits children academically. One way art helps academic
performance is by strengthening students brains. The principal of Lyons Elementary School explained
the Opening Minds through Art program (OMA) helped teach children concepts through art that
would later help them learn more in different subjects (Smith). Art can improve students
understanding of learning concepts, which will help them in different subjects in the future. artistic
activities engage senses and make neural connections in the brain. The more neural pathways created
and the stronger the become, the easier it becomes for the brain to take in new information. With a
stronger brain and mental capacity, students performance in school with improve. Academically, art is

Not So Sane Billy
Imagine having your whole mental health being completely obliterated from events you have taken
part in a World War. In the story of Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, this exact situation
happens to the main character, Billy Pilgrim. In fact, Mr. Pilgrim is crazed because his skills and
views including Tralfamadorians are nonviable. Also, Billy s episodes from the war have led to his
irregular beliefs. Although Kurt Vonnegut expresses that Billy Pilgrim knows a great deal about

various claims and stories clearly express how hysterical he actually is.
First, Billy claims that he has special inhuman characteristics that do not make any sense. Billy ...

Analysis Of The Bicycle Thieves
Two scenes from the Bicycle Thieves that although they have nothing to do with the plot they are
essential for the film are: the scene where many bicycles and parts of them are being sold in a piazza,
this is an important scene because it adds to the film a feeling of optimism that ends up turning into
hopelessness. The other scene is the one where the thief has an epileptic fit adding to the film a feeling
of despair. These two scenes also contributes to the overall meaning of the plot by showing us that the
harder you try to accomplish what you want in life the more obstacles you will have and the more
hopelessness you will fell.
The first scene where bicycles are being sold at the piazza is very important. Ricci is hopeful at first,
and so are the watchers, that he will be able to find his bike at that place and all his problems will be
solved. He looks everywhere for it, at first it seems like his bike might be there because there is an
overwhelmingly amount of bicycles and pieces of them and the people around him helping him are
very optimistic, but as he keeps looking and looking things start getting more complicated because
every bike, tire, bell, and frame he sees could belong to his bike giving him hope that he has found it
but the moment he realizes is not his, the hopes he had to find it sinks deeper. We can observe this
when he s looking at the bikes lined up in minute 34:08, when he s looking around an expression of
anxiety and disappointment forms in his face

The Pros And Cons Of The Drinking Age
When picturing college people should think about huge classrooms, hard professors, and a better
learning experience than they have ever received before. In reality, two things come to everyone s
mind before anything else: partying every night and binge drinking. The United States has some of the
highest rates of underage drinking and hospitalizations due to alcohol poisoning. In Barrett Seaman s
article, How Bingeing Became the New College Sport, Seaman argues that continuously adding more
restrictions to the drinking law could be making the issue worse or causing the entire problem. By
focusing on college binge drinking, Seaman convinces his readers that instead of twenty one, the US
should lower the drinking age to promote appropriate drinking habits. The drinking age set at eighteen
was not originally an issue. In the late 60s, the voting age was changed to eighteen; privacy laws were
enacted; and the drinking age, depending on each states decision, was lowered to eighteen as the new
age that legally defined adulthood (Seaman 1 2). Then in 1984, Congress was influenced by Mothers
Against Drunk Driving to pass a law that combined compliance of the states with federal aid highway
funds in exchange for the members support; forcing the states to raise the drinking age to twenty one.
There is no doubt that the law, which achieved full 50 state compliance in 1988, saved lives, but it had
the unintended consequence of creating a covert culture around alcohol as the young

Literary Analysis of “Everything That Rises Must Converge”
Literary Analysis of Everything That Rises Must Converge Flannery O Connor s short story
Everything That Rises Must Converge is about racial judgment in the south in the 1960 s. O Conors
main focus in this story is how the white middle class viewed and treated people from different races
in the 1960 s. The story is an example of irony, redemption as well as a struggle of identity among the
characters. The main characters in O Connor s story are Julian an aspiring writer, who works as a

shows how truly high he views himself. We see irony throughout this story the main example of Irony
comes from Julian s view of himself. Julian shows anger and disproof of his mother throughout the
whole story, eve though he may be just as judgmental as his mother, but because he thinks he accepts
them he still feels better about himself. His mother talks about how she had gotten him through
college, and straightened his teeth to make sacrifices for him; but Julian doesn t see that the same way.
He s mother see s him as successful, and in all honesty he is not. He sells typewriters so he is just a
common worker nothing high and powerful. He continuously imagines himself in his families old
mansion, but still more accepting then his family. He mentions that he has a first rate education at a
third rate college which shows how he clearly wasn t superior due to his schooling. He wasn t a
professional at all. Julian fails many times at proving his superiority too his mother. We see this when

Garrison Keillor s The Prodigal Son vs. Luke s The Parable of the Prodigal Son
The classic story of the Prodigal Son is one of the best known parables in literature. A parable is often
times described as a short narrative which teaches a moral; however, the plot is more realistic, than
say a fable, and the characters are humans as oppose to animals or natural forces within nature.
Parables are also presented in a more suggestive tone, which leaves them more open to interpretation.
The play Prodigal Son told by Garrison Keillor differs greatly in terms of style compared to Lukes

same moral, however, both are open to very different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This style merely added to the parable itself. One could argue that since the personalities in Keillors
version were more developed, it left less room for ones own interpretation. Because the personalities
of the characters were more distinct, it also alllwed for more focus on the actual plot and the building
moral. Since the moral is the true point to a parable, it would be pointless for an audience or reader to
be stuck on the their curiosity of the type of people the characters were supposed to represent. More
detail, merely aids in the strength of a parables narrative qualities. A major difference that I noted
when reading and comparing the two parables was the usage of language. That writing style of the
parables truly affected my interpretation of the moral. Keillor took a much more modern approach to
the language that the characters conversed with. He also utilized more symbolism in the language in
order to pursue more of a comedy type piece. An example of such is when Wally returnas home and
his father is ecstatic about his return, and begins to give him gifts and attention. The father then
decides amongst all his excitement that he wants to give Wally a ring, which he had already given to
the older son Dwight. Dwight responds with, cant give it to the son who has worked his tail off for
thirty years, oh no, gotta give it to the weasel who comes dragging his butt through the door (Kennedy

Firearm Evidence Process Paper
Processing firearms evidence is just one of many jobs in the field of forensic technology. When it
comes to collecting and processing firearms evidence at a crime scene there are a strict set of rules and
procedures that need to be followed. There are also different types of firearms that can be used in
committing a crime and that can be found at crime scenes if the firearm is left behind.
The most common types of firearms that are used in crimes are semi automatic pistols, and revolvers.
There are different types of semi auto pistols and revolvers out there, which are but not limited to .38,

types of firearms that would likely be used in a crime. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Let us start on how to collect and process expended projectiles and cartridge casings. When collecting
expended casings, projectiles and remnants of shotgun ammunition each one should be numbered,
photographed and measured for placement in a crime scene sketch (Tina Young, 2011). Each one
collected should be placed in a pillbox or coin envelope then those should be placed into bigger
envelopes or bags (Tina Young, 2011). If a projectile is stuck in a wall the section of the wall where
the projectile is located should be removed (Tina Young, 2011). If a firearm found at a crime scene the
best way to link it to the crime or other crimes is to test fire it into a water tank or ballistic gel. Once
this has been done, the forensic tech can then compare the bullet and casing using a microscope. (Tina
Young, 2011). If the firearm is not located then the casing or bullet can be ran through the National
Ballistic Database. Now that we have talked about rendering firearms safe and also how they should

Understanding Loan Tranches And Mechanics ( Credit...
[The Credit Agreement]
[The Loan]
1. Amount and Terms of the Loans; Letters of Credit
2. Understanding Loan Tranches and Mechanics (Credit Agreement)
3. Tranches of Loans
A borrower will generally have various financing needs for its business, some of which may be more
appropriately met with a revolving credit facility and others more appropriately met with a term loan
facility. Revolving credit facilities permit the borrower to borrow, repay and reborrow loans from time
to time during the life of the credit facility, up to an agreed cap amount, so long as the conditions to
each borrowing are met. Term loan facilities are generally drawn all at once and may not be
reborrowed once repaid. For a borrower s ongoing business operations, a revolving facility that allows
it to borrow and repay as needed may make more sense than receiving a one time term loan, while a
borrower may want a term loan to fund an acquisition where they will need to have the full purchase
price available on the acquisition date.
In many financing transactions the borrower will want access to both a revolving facility and a term
loan. For example, to finance an acquisition, the borrower will likely want a term loan to finance all,
or a portion of, the purchase price for the target company and after the acquisition, the borrower will
likely need a revolving facility for working capital. To meet these needs, credit agreements and
facilities are often divided into multiple tranches each

Analysis Of Frankenstein By Mary Shelly
One of the most popular formats for literature is a hero faced with seemingly insurmountable struggles
who is able to overcome these obstacles and live happily ever after . However, some of the most
famous books in literature have an extremely different structure to their stories. These books center on
characters of questionable moral integrity, who through their own poor decisions bring about their
own misery and often ultimate demise. When examined this theme of self destruction can be seen in
many of what are considered the greatest books in western civilization. One of the books where this
theme can be seen is in the popular horror story Frankenstein written in 1816 by Mary Shelly. Another
place this can be seen is in many of the writings of Edgar Allen Poe, especially in his physiological
thrillers. An additional place this can be seen is in the play written in 1890 by Henrik Ibsen called
Hedda Gabler. In all of these stories it is the main characters own choices that lead to the destruction
of their happiness. Frankenstein is one of the most famous classic horror stories in today s culture,
having been retold and reimagined countless times. However, when one reads the original book by
Mary Shelly, Frankenstein may be seen as not quite the sympathetic character some more recent
renditions lead one to believe. The book indicates that the main reason Frankenstein is lead to create
his monster is because of his desire for academic prestige and to control and manipulate

Roman Influence On Modern Civilization
Now in retrospect, civilizations did in fact have their very own significant ways of distributing their
influence throughout history. Three ways civilizations differentiated their influences are through
conquest, trade and the contributions of those civilizations. These influences contributed to today s
modern society and every influence whether religious, the age, whereabouts and culture of a
civilization scientific discoveries/developments and customs have shaped and make up the
foundations of today s modern world. For instance the Roman Empire utterly destroyed the city of
Carthage in North Africa, with the conquerors allegedly sowing the ground with salt so that nothing
would ever grow there again. Similar bloodshed and destruction accompanied ... Show more content

The trading of goods such as foods, resources, supplies and etc. spread influence throughout
civilizations. A great deal of Chinese technology and artistic conventions such as painting, printing,
gunpowder weapons, compass navigation, high temperature furnaces, and medical techniques flowed
westward. Muslim astronomers brought their skills and knowledge to China because Mongol
authorities wanted second opinions on the reading of heavenly signs and portents and assistance in
constructing accurate calendars, so necessary for ritual purposes. (Strayer, Robert W 545) The rise and
impact of the Mongol resulted from trade routes between the contemporary great civilizations
emerged as a result of widespread military conquests; desire for luxury trade items, knowledge, and
technology; unified rule; and female participation in trade concerns. In addition to the profligate items,
the Mongols desired to advance their knowledge in the areas of medication, food production, religion,
astronomy, workmanship, and equipment. As such, documents and books on medicine and agriculture
were transported to and from the Middle East and China. As these exchanges became more frequent
the legacy of unified Mongolian rule through soldierly conquests and desire for new goods, prosperity,
and scientific developments ultimately reduced cultural segregation Thereby, world history became

My Career Of Nursing
As a child, there were many professions that I wanted to be, and the one I found the most captivating
was nursing. Although I knew that nursing would be a challenge, I knew that I had to pursue that
specific career. Mainly because when I was in 5th grade, my father was always in and out of the
hospital, due to multiple conditions. Throughout the past 6 years, it has been motivating and
encouraging me to have the capability to help those who are in need. Also growing up, I found that
helping others fulfills my heart gives me gratification. Along the way, I have picked up a few tricks
about healthcare and my well being. Aside from nursing, some other personal goals of mine s is to
have my own family, and to move to my dream city of San Diego. Mid way through my high school
years, I started to volunteer at the Sutter Health CMPC California Campus, as an assistant nurse. In
my assigned unit, my job was to facilitate and help assist the elderly with a condition called Alzheimer
s. For my first couple of months, I help feed the elderly and play learning activities that stimulates the
brain. Soon after that, I was assigned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which was the nursery. I
enjoyed it delightfully as every week, I would go in and prepare rooms for Vaginal or C sections, aid
mothers and prepare families for their newborn child while providing useful information for new
parents.. I continued to volunteer for a little over a year and took a short program at school. At school I
learned how to do CPR which was a long process but now i m CPR certified by The Red Cross. This
volunteer experience was a stepping stone for me to explore my career path and will allow me to
experience what I want to do in life. Becoming a nurse is one of the three goals I have. The other goal
I would like to accomplish in life is to have a family of my own. Growing up, I never had the perfect
family or the typical family that my friends had. My parents were together up until this year, it was a
rocky ride but it didn t work out between them over the years. My high school experience was already
tough, before they separated but after that, I did not have much hope. I did not think I could continue
on with school because everything

Research Paper On Asylum Seekers
Issue
This briefing paper summary the key issues on Australia offshore processing regime. The policy for
Asylum seekers arriving in Australia s via boat to remain on either Nauru or Papua New Guineas
Manus Island have not held neither sustainable one maintainable solutions. The human rights of the
refugees due to the prolonged detention are harmful on their physical wellbeing and mental health.
Background
The 1951 convention relating to the Status of Refugees and the 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of
Refugees (The Refugees Convention) was designed for the protection of asylum seekers. It identifies
their rights to seek asylum whether it be from persecution in regards to race, religion, nationality, or

The Coalition Government 2013 policy Operation Sovereign Borders reported that sending asylum
seekers back via military vessels patrolling Australian waters has restored the integrity of its borders
and prevented deaths at sea. Conversely, this is neither humanitarian nor helping solve the problem to
protect offshore asylum seekers already detained. This does not protect and promote individual rights
of those seeking asylum under the human rights convention. In addition to the indefinite detention has
had a major impact on the physical and mental health of asylum seekers. This has been evident in
protests from detainees that have resulted in deaths on Manus Island, in which security and police
were present. Is reported is widespread and systematic abuse, the cramped conditions of their
accommodation, and the lack of facilities causing illness and poor hygiene. Along with the lack of
medical treatment available all these conditions are well below international standards. If the
Australian government refuses to bring refugees to Australia then it must ensure that conditions of the
detention are humane. Australia has entered into an arrangement whereas by other states are used for
resettlement, it is however still responsible for ensuring human rights obligations and adhered to under
these paramagnets. The conditions of detention state that refugees are not to be held for lengthy stays
in solitary detention, and that they have access to key services such as health care, education and
mental health services. The Australian government s offshore operations are extremely guarded and
service providers working for the Australian government face criminal charges and civil penalties if
they disclose any information about the conditions of the asylum seekers and refuges. The border
forces act 2015 heightened security after the event that happened on the

  • 3. Pro And Negative Effects Of Medical Technology Though underappreciated, advancements in medical technology are imperative to the success of the human race as a whole. For instance, some of the most common medical procedures such as amputation, surgeries, the modern ambulance, and anesthesia inhalers were created and popularized during the United States Civil War (Rowe). Both during the civil war and currently, the advancements decrease death tolls while making modern and future treatments safer, faster, and overall more efficient. They have also given the more prevailing advancements a stepping stone to develop and grow from, allowing the forthcoming medical technology to further advance. We see this same pattern happening perpetually, creating a loop of advancements that continue to build upon themselves and each other. The U.S. has the most medically advanced medical care system in the world. However, its services are mainly available to the affluent and middle class consumers who have the financial means to demand these services (Botehlo 1991) (Dewar). Full medical care isn t always readily available to all; only those who may afford it have access to it. This is a result of the cost of the services themselves being higher, due to the lack of supply (so to speak) and a growing demand. However, Dewar stated, The practice of defensive medicine had an indirect impact on technology utilization through the pressure for increased availability of technology (Dewar). These pressures have encouraged the United States as a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Reflection Of The Internship Movie Zainab Hoseini 12B Redhill School Business Report on The Internship (2013) Directed by: Shawn Levy Starring: Owen Wilson Vince Vaughn Brief Summary The Internship is a film revolved around two businessmen who have hit the curb with their recent downfall in their previous company. Billy McMahon (played by Vaughn) finds a position as an intern at Google and signs his friend Nick Campbell (played by Wilson) up. Most of the movie is set at the Google headquarters, and the two businessmen are surrounded by youth (most of the age of around 21) and given instructions of the course by Mr. Roger Chetty (played by Aasif Mandvi). The interns are divided into groups, and whom, at the end of the course, only that group will be given full time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The interviewers ask the businessmen; You re shrunken down to the size of nickels and drop to the bottom of a blender. What do you do? Billy and Nick start to rant about how it s impossible and going off topic, in the end Nick confessing that him and Billy have been in the blender and given up, and how they have gotten themselves out and here they are, and how if they really want to know what happens when you take the guys out the blender, then they re hire them. The question was probably asked by the interviewers to test the creative thinking of the two businessmen. When Lyle and Google are considering them he points out that the goal was to find people with a different way of thinking, as well as the fact that they have more years of sales and experience than the age of most of the interns. As well he labels the businessmen as out of the box thinkers who turned being stuck in a blender into an advantage. Another example of creative thinking that the team develops throughout the movie is at the end when they persuade the pizza company to go Google, which gets them the jobs at the end. Billy and Nick use their ways to talk to the business ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

(Mt Alvernia Task sheet) There are more than three religions in the world but these three religions are some of the main religions that profoundly support this statement. The Islamic religion is often portrayed by the Western media as a violent religion that does not teach or believe in interfaith or world peace, however through an interfaith understanding it can be seen that the Islamic religion does in fact believe in interfaith peace. The last Pillar is Hajj, which is the pilgrimage that all Muslims should make to Mecca, it is also seen as an act of worship. As seen from the Five Pillars it is clear that if people understood the Islamic religion they would see that it does promote interfaith understandings and peace. For example in the Five Pillars the Third Pillar, Saum (Ramadan), the Islamic people deprive themselves of their needs, during light hours, so they can beg for forgiveness from their God Allah. Moreover, this confrontation has turned millions of Syrian citizens into refugees who need to seek asylum in various countries. To some degree, this conflict illustrates the instability of countries located in the Middle East. One cannot easily identify a single underlying cause of this war. In many cases, they brutally suppressed every form of opposition to their rule. As a result, many people began to perceive violent protests as the only possible way of changing the political life of the country. Apart from that, the government used firearms during the protests that took place in 2011 (Yoo 199). This event provoked this war and polarised the society. This is one of the issues that should be taken into account. The discontent with the policies of the state intensified because the government failed to develop mechanisms that could contribute to economic growth. One should keep in mind that the country was affected by such problems as declining oil production and increasing unemployment (Winckler 94). Additionally, the economic policies of the state lacked transparency and consistency. In many cases, new economic policies implemented by the Assad government benefited only those people who could establish close relations with government officials. The representatives of the government stated that they wanted to deregulate the economy; nevertheless, this deregulation was not achieved because too many bureaucratic barriers remained. Moreover, unemployment affected primarily young adults who were more likely to take part in the protests against the government. These economic challenges became more acute due to the growing ... In each of the cases I have recalled in preparation for this essay, adherence to department policy or to the law has made the decision a natural one. It is when the decision creates the potential for disagreement or conflict with a co worker which has proved to make the decision itself more challenging. In recent positions I held working with, or later for, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, I experienced this particular challenge involving one of our office s Detention and Deportation Officers. • 21. Kazimir Malevich As A Modernist In this essay I shall analyze the work of Kazimir Malevich, and examine whether he can be described as avant garde modernist. I will present how his means of expression and style changed with time, making references to his work, history and cultural context. First, I will explain the principles of avant garde and modernism, and show painter s background. Secondly, I will research on the beginnings of his work, and how he came to suprematism. Then I will focus on the final period of his life and artwork. Kazimir Malevich was a Russian painter and art theorist, living at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This is left only to the black sheep of time. 1 In 1915 he announced the revolutionary program of suprematism, the most radical direction of abstraction. He rejected the iconography of visual art, recognizing a straight line and a square as the symbols of man s superiority over chaos. It was a revolutionary moment that forever signed him into history as a leading representative of avant garde modernism. In his manifesto, he mentioned: By Suprematism I mean the supremacy of pure feeling in creative art. To the Suprematist the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, meaningless; the significant thing is feeling. 2 In 1930 Malevich began to slowly move away from suprematism, creating similar works in neo suprematism. Gradually, he began to turn back to the style he used at the beginning of his career. Towards the end of his life he became more and more isolated, departed from abstraction and came back to painting simplified landscapes, realistic paintings, and portraits. Marx believes this is because the laborers where the individuals who created socialism because they wanted to fight for their rights and become equal. The first reason I disagree with socialism is because price signals become distorted or absent, the market price for goods and services cannot be rationally allocated if the individuals aren t earning income in a free market. If all individuals receive an equal income and everything is shared then what is the incentive to work harder? If there is no incentive to earn a higher wage then individuals may be less motivated. The Importance Of The Arts At School Importance of the Arts in School People often view artistic activities as a leisure activity, so though they may agree it is a nice thing to have, they may not think it is essential to a person s life. It is the same for schools, with tight budgets, art is usually the first subject cut from a student s learning experience because it is not viewed as a priority. However, with all of the academic benefits students can gain from being involved in any type of art subject, it is important that schools allow students an easy access to art. By making art programs more prominent, schools would be offering students a chance to improve academic performance, increase happiness, and open up minds. Though art is mostly viewed as a hobby, it benefits children academically. One way art helps academic performance is by strengthening students brains. The principal of Lyons Elementary School explained the Opening Minds through Art program (OMA) helped teach children concepts through art that would later help them learn more in different subjects (Smith). The other scene is the one where the thief has an epileptic fit adding to the film a feeling of despair. In reality, two things come to everyone s mind before anything else: partying every night and binge drinking. The United States has some of the highest rates of underage drinking and hospitalizations due to alcohol poisoning. In Barrett Seaman s article, How Bingeing Became the New College Sport, Seaman argues that continuously adding more restrictions to the drinking law could be making the issue worse or causing the entire problem. By focusing on college binge drinking, Seaman convinces his readers that instead of twenty one, the US should lower the drinking age to promote appropriate drinking habits. The drinking age set at eighteen was not originally an issue. In the late 60s, the voting age was changed to eighteen; privacy laws were enacted; and the drinking age, depending on each states decision, was lowered to eighteen as the new age that legally defined adulthood (Seaman 1 2). Then in 1984, Congress was influenced by Mothers Against Drunk Driving to pass a law that combined compliance of the states with federal aid highway funds in exchange for the members support; forcing the states to raise the drinking age to twenty one. There is no doubt that the law, which achieved full 50 state compliance in 1988, saved lives, but it had the unintended consequence of creating a covert culture around alcohol as the young ... Garrison Keillor s The Prodigal Son vs. Luke s The Parable of the Prodigal Son The classic story of the Prodigal Son is one of the best known parables in literature. A parable is often times described as a short narrative which teaches a moral; however, the plot is more realistic, than say a fable, and the characters are humans as oppose to animals or natural forces within nature. Parables are also presented in a more suggestive tone, which leaves them more open to interpretation. One could argue that since the personalities in Keillors version were more developed, it left less room for ones own interpretation. Since the moral is the true point to a parable, it would be pointless for an audience or reader to be stuck on the their curiosity of the type of people the characters were supposed to represent. More detail, merely aids in the strength of a parables narrative qualities. A major difference that I noted when reading and comparing the two parables was the usage of language. When collecting expended casings, projectiles and remnants of shotgun ammunition each one should be numbered, photographed and measured for placement in a crime scene sketch (Tina Young, 2011). Each one collected should be placed in a pillbox or coin envelope then those should be placed into bigger envelopes or bags (Tina Young, 2011). If a projectile is stuck in a wall the section of the wall where the projectile is located should be removed (Tina Young, 2011). If a firearm found at a crime scene the best way to link it to the crime or other crimes is to test fire it into a water tank or ballistic gel. Once this has been done, the forensic tech can then compare the bullet and casing using a microscope. (Tina Young, 2011). If the firearm is not located then the casing or bullet can be ran through the National Ballistic Database. Now that we have talked about rendering firearms safe and also how they should be processed, now we can look at what information can be gained from the firearm and the cartridges and ... • 44. Understanding Loan Tranches And Mechanics ( Credit... [The Credit Agreement] [The Loan] 1. Amount and Terms of the Loans; Letters of Credit 2. Understanding Loan Tranches and Mechanics (Credit Agreement) 3. Tranches of Loans A borrower will generally have various financing needs for its business, some of which may be more appropriately met with a revolving credit facility and others more appropriately met with a term loan facility. Revolving credit facilities permit the borrower to borrow, repay and reborrow loans from time to time during the life of the credit facility, up to an agreed cap amount, so long as the conditions to each borrowing are met. Term loan facilities are generally drawn all at once and may not be reborrowed once repaid. For a borrower s ongoing business operations, a revolving facility that allows it to borrow and repay as needed may make more sense than receiving a one time term loan, while a borrower may want a term loan to fund an acquisition where they will need to have the full purchase price available on the acquisition date. In many financing transactions the borrower will want access to both a revolving facility and a term loan. For example, to finance an acquisition, the borrower will likely want a term loan to finance all, or a portion of, the purchase price for the target company and after the acquisition, the borrower will likely need a revolving facility for working capital. To meet these needs, credit agreements and facilities are often divided into multiple tranches each ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 45. Analysis Of Frankenstein By Mary Shelly One of the most popular formats for literature is a hero faced with seemingly insurmountable struggles who is able to overcome these obstacles and live happily ever after . However, some of the most famous books in literature have an extremely different structure to their stories. These books center on characters of questionable moral integrity, who through their own poor decisions bring about their own misery and often ultimate demise. When examined this theme of self destruction can be seen in many of what are considered the greatest books in western civilization. One of the books where this theme can be seen is in the popular horror story Frankenstein written in 1816 by Mary Shelly. Another place this can be seen is in many of the writings of Edgar Allen Poe, especially in his physiological thrillers. An additional place this can be seen is in the play written in 1890 by Henrik Ibsen called Hedda Gabler. In all of these stories it is the main characters own choices that lead to the destruction of their happiness. Frankenstein is one of the most famous classic horror stories in today s culture, having been retold and reimagined countless times. However, when one reads the original book by Mary Shelly, Frankenstein may be seen as not quite the sympathetic character some more recent renditions lead one to believe. The book indicates that the main reason Frankenstein is lead to create his monster is because of his desire for academic prestige and to control and manipulate ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although I knew that nursing would be a challenge, I knew that I had to pursue that specific career. Mainly because when I was in 5th grade, my father was always in and out of the hospital, due to multiple conditions. Throughout the past 6 years, it has been motivating and encouraging me to have the capability to help those who are in need. Also growing up, I found that helping others fulfills my heart gives me gratification. Along the way, I have picked up a few tricks about healthcare and my well being. Aside from nursing, some other personal goals of mine s is to have my own family, and to move to my dream city of San Diego. Mid way through my high school years, I started to volunteer at the Sutter Health CMPC California Campus, as an assistant nurse. In my assigned unit, my job was to facilitate and help assist the elderly with a condition called Alzheimer s. For my first couple of months, I help feed the elderly and play learning activities that stimulates the brain. Soon after that, I was assigned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which was the nursery. I enjoyed it delightfully as every week, I would go in and prepare rooms for Vaginal or C sections, aid mothers and prepare families for their newborn child while providing useful information for new parents.. I continued to volunteer for a little over a year and took a short program at school. At school I learned how to do CPR which was a long process but now i m CPR certified by The Red Cross. This volunteer experience was a stepping stone for me to explore my career path and will allow me to experience what I want to do in life. Becoming a nurse is one of the three goals I have. The other goal I would like to accomplish in life is to have a family of my own. Growing up, I never had the perfect family or the typical family that my friends had. My parents were together up until this year, it was a rocky ride but it didn t work out between them over the years. My high school experience was already tough, before they separated but after that, I did not have much hope. I did not think I could continue on with school because everything ... Conversely, this is neither humanitarian nor helping solve the problem to protect offshore asylum seekers already detained. This does not protect and promote individual rights of those seeking asylum under the human rights convention. In addition to the indefinite detention has had a major impact on the physical and mental health of asylum seekers. This has been evident in protests from detainees that have resulted in deaths on Manus Island, in which security and police were present. Is reported is widespread and systematic abuse, the cramped conditions of their accommodation, and the lack of facilities causing illness and poor hygiene. Along with the lack of medical treatment available all these conditions are well below international standards. If the Australian government refuses to bring refugees to Australia then it must ensure that conditions of the detention are humane.
