contents in a book. Another conceptual characteristic of the POR is problems are expressed at the level
of the writer s understanding and do not include diagnostic impressions which are considered as part
of the treatment plan. 3. Initial Plan: Development of a care plan The initial plan should be considered
in 3 parts:
I. Diagnostic (Dx) that is plans for collecting more information II. Therapeutic (Rx) plans for
treatment and, III. Patient Education plans for informing the patient as to what is to be done. 4.
Progress notes: Should indicate what has happened to the patient, what is planned for the patient, and
how the patient is responding to therapy. Progress notes should contain four component parts: I.
Subjective part written in the patient s own words about his problem II. Objective part the doctors
observation and test results. III. Assessment is the diagnostic opinion of the health care provider IV.
Plan for continued treatment. Contains diagnostic and therapeutic and educational plans to resolve the
problem.

Courage Vs Moral Courage
We find it easier, in these confused times, to admire physical bravery than moral courage the courage
of the life of the mind, or of public figures. ( Salmon Rushdie, 2013 ) The question we all need to
answer or ask is, do we or do we not? I strongly believe this is true, because we as people of these
times don t want to hear about politicians, we like to hear and learn about people being brave, and
saving others from harmful events that happens in everyday life. There are no Gandhis, no Lincolns
anymore. One man s hero ( Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro) is another s villain. We no longer easily agree
on what it means to be good, or principled, or brave. ( Salmon Rushdie, 2013 ) My three main reasons
for believing this is true is Some Profiles of Courage by Shane Lopez , a video called Physical
Courage v.s. Moral Courage 755 x 5 Squat , and my current event on Hurricane Harvey. From ancient
to present times, this disposition to act appropriately in situations involving fear and confidence in the
face of physical danger seems to be universally valued. ( Shane Lopez, P. 5 ) This is saying that when
people show physical bravery they are valued worldwide by everyone who knows what they done.
Shane Lopez tells us all the categories of courage, but physical courage/bravery is seen as more
courageous than moral courage. People these days don t care about a politician standing up for his
beliefs, but what we do want to hear about is a man in a cowboy hat that vaults

Irony In The Lottery

to think about the irony in this story for years, these people have made a tradition out of this and the
people are fine with it, Don t you think it could have gone another or different way. Like For example

Coors Business Strategy and Performance
Strategies
Adolph Coors company is a brewery with a long history. It was founded in 1873 and managed to make
it through Prohibition by diversifying into near beer, malted milk, cement, and porcelain. Starting in
1958 the company brewed only one beer Coors Banquet . In 1978 when it introduced Coors Light, it
only took 7 years for this light beer to become 40% of the company s revenue building brand and to
become the second best selling light beer on the market. Strengths and Weakness
Coors is focused on building its market brand and share through high quality inputs and high quality
product. It wants to build revenue through a national expansion plan that includes two or three states a
year. While Coors shows consistency in their desire for expansion and brand quality through core
technologies, branding, internal developments, high quality ingredients that lead to high quality
products, they do have some glaring inconsistencies.
The natural fermentation makes it problematic to expand nationally as the beer spoils more easily and
it needs to be kept refrigerated. A solution to this problem would be to pasteurize their products to
protect against spoilage and to protect the freshness and shelf life of the products going out into the
public. In several of the campaigns used by Coors they push the notion that only pure Rocky
Mountain water is used in the brewing process and gives the beer its taste. However if they are to
expand and open up another fermentation site they will

Piracy In The Music Industry
There are $12.5 billion in economic losses each year due to Piracy in the music industry. This shows
how people are not taking piracy seriously and treating it not as a crime. Piracy is a crime and people
should be able to use it against people in their cases. Based on the evidence in this article, companies
involved in legal action should use emotionally charged language such as piracy to win their cases
because if they seem to be copying an artist s piece without permission and selling it for free, it is
piracy and piracy is a crime that they can use. The person who made their work must have spent a lot
of time on it so they would be able to accuse it s as piracy if someone were to steal it. According to the
article, People who work hard to produce creative works are entitled to enjoy legal protection to reap
the benefits of their labors. And if others want to enjoy those creative works, it s reasonable to make
them pay for the privilege. This proves that people generally want to be able to be proud of their work

The text states, It would no longer matter whether the property misappropriated was tangible or
intangible, real or personal, a good or a service. All of these things were now to be treated uniformly.
This shows that the emotionally charged language should be used because it is appropriate for this
matter that these things are truly being stolen. Piracy is an ongoing problem that many people do not
take seriously. Just because something is intangible does not mean that it does not have any value. In
conclusion, organizations should use emotionally charged language such as piracy because stealing
these intangible things are counted as a crime so it is only fair to use

Neutral Kitchen Research Paper
Your neutral kitchen doesn t have to be a boring one when you add visual interest with accessories.
There are ways you can stay classy and neutral but avoid boring. From the tile to the color scheme,
you ll have to make careful decisions to stay natural and bright in the space.
Stylish Tile
In a neutral kitchen, you want to stay timeless. This is especially true with the tile. Stick with subway
tiles that will look fresh for years to come. The subway tiles always look great when they re slim.
Avoid wide, square tiles and stick to traditional styles.
Stripes can be Subtle
You don t have to apply bold, contrasting stripes to the wall. You can imply stripes with paneling that
looks like shiplap. You can paint it all one color, but still ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You can add dark cabinets in black or gray along with metal accents to stay neutral without being
bland.
Mirrors
When you have one color in the kitchen, you can pull in colors from other rooms by using mirrors on
shelves or as a backsplash. Strategically place accent colors, so that they re reflected in the mirror.
Layered Paint
With light gray, dark gray and charcoal, you have a neutral color palette that can be a sleek addition to
any kitchen. You don t need a riot of colors to create interest in the space. Use three neutrals with the
same tones to the kitchen. The cabinets, walls and backspash can be painted.
Upholstery
With a neutral color in the kitchen, you can change the look of the furniture upholstery easily every
year or two. Whether it s stripes or flowers on a banquette, you ll easily change the look without
having to add a lick of paint.
Wallpaper
Neutral kitchens can have soft wallpapers to give them subtle drama. A cream wallpaper would look
great with a beige or white kitchen. Pick a large print that blends with the colors.
Bring in Wood
While wood is natural, it can be attractive with a variety of neutral styles. The grain showing through
will make even a simple, one color kitchen look incredible.

Margaret Sanger And Birth Control
Margaret Sanger, Also known for being a feminist and women s rights activist, and coined birth
control to become legalised. Margaret started her mission to legalise birth control in 1916, she was
know as a racist for the reason she wanted to have birth control was to get rid of black babies , but she
had also believed in women s rights. In a 1921 article, she wrote that, the most urgent problem today
is how to limit and discourage the over fertility of the mentally and physically defective. which is why
she helped start the women s rights movement and coined birth control. Sanger was born on
September 14, 1879, in Corning, New York. In 1910 she moved to Greenwich Village ( which is

Sanger wanted to put birth control more on the market, this is when she decided to make it known in
pharmacies and let women use it in hospitals. After world war 1 is when she really started to kick off
birth control. She started to reach out to black women of any age, making the stand that she did to
slaves she became known for being racist and starting birth control. She had finally won everyone s
hearts with planned parenthood in 1939, (when it was founded) and she was no longer a radical
feminist. Her role in birth control became largely horrific after world war 2 and she had to change her
aspects on birth control. She had decided to travel to many other countries including Brazil, Asia,
Russia, and Korea to share about birth control. This act make birth control way more known where
just about every doctor was deciding to put it in hospitals. Sanger wasn t alone in this fight for birth
control, she also had many other feminist along her side. First was Katharine Dexter McCormick, She
gave away thousands of dollars just for birth control to be discovered. Next is British feminist Edith
How Martyn to serve as a clearinghouse for information. Last but not least is Dr. John Rock, he was

cooking is what they love to do but it only takes some of their day. The other parts of their day is
preparing, ordering ingredients, setting prices and checking stock. They work very long hours and
have little time for relaxing. The life of a chef is not for everyone but those who do it love it. The

Mary Warren Abortion Analysis
Throughout this semester, our class has discussed the morality of abortion. We have examined
different philosophers positions on abortion and debated the pros and cons of each article. For my
argument, I defined abortion as the deliberate removal of a fetus from the mother s womb to result in
the death of the fetus. My position on abortion was that it is morally permissible depending on if it s
what the mother wants, the child s future wellbeing, and the circumstances of the pregnancy. After
careful thought and consideration, I have changed some parts of my argument and kept others the
same.
One of the philosophers we studied in class is Mary Warren, On the Moral and Legal Status of
Abortion . Warren s stance on abortion is that it is morally ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thompson claims that abortion is sometimes morally permissible in cases of self defense like rape,
incest, and failed birth control. In Thomson s argument, she assumes that the fetus is a person from
conception. She then tries to show that that abortion is morally permissible even though the fetus has a
right to life. She uses the violinist analogy to show that having a right to life does not imply having the
right to someone else s body. Thompson also uses the people seed analogy to show that abortion is
morally permissible when pregnancy occurs while using a form of birth control. I agree with
Thompson s view on abortion and found her examples to be very persuasive.
At the beginning of the semester, I believed that abortions were the mother s decision and were always
permissible if its what she wanted. After reading other philosophers works on the morality of abortion
and debating it with my classmates, I have a changed my previous argument. I now believe that
abortion is morally permissible in special cases like when contraception fails, if the mother or child s
life is at risk, or pregnancy resulting from rape. While I still do not view the fetus as a person, I do
believe that it should not be deprived of a future like ours if it can be

Death Of A Salesman Father Son Relationship Essay
Depression. Trust issues. Relationship issues. A higher chance to become criminals. These are all
possible effects that a poor parent child relationship has on the child. The main character of Death of a
Salesman, by Arthur Miller, Willy Loman, a travelling salesman, works throughout New England, but
lives in New York. In his childhood, his father was absent and so he is attempting to provide his sons
with a father. He is trying to create the best life for his sons, but still cannot do so, even in their
thirties. In the play, the condition of Happy s desire for attention, Biff s discovery of his father s
hobbies , and Willy s focus on people liking him all demonstrate that Willy s decisions and selfishness
lead to him being a failure of a father to his sons, which ultimately leads to the failure of his sons.

Additionally, Willy is trapped in his own dream world of thinking that everyone must worship him,
which all cause a terrible father son relationship. Throughout the play, he continously fails to meet the
fragile needs of his sons, providing no strong connection. If a child does not have a basic connection
with anyone, especially their parents, in the beginning of their lives, they struggle later on in life,
harshly impacting their ability to function around other people. A parent guides their child, showing
them right from wrong and preps them for adulthood, or at least that is what they are supposed to do.
Without this the child is lost and must teach themselve and learn through experience, which no person
of such a young age should have to go through. With professional help, the Loman family could be

Resting Membrane Potential Research Paper
Hanan Yusuf
BIO 350 002
In order to understand electrical signaling in biological membranes, we must know the basic
properties of the resting membrane potential. Electrical signaling of biological membranes is required
for effective cell to cell communication in our bodies (Watson et al. 2015). In order for the conduction
of electrical signals along membranes to occur, cells must be excited. Before excitation occurs, the cell
membrane is at rest; this state is known as resting membrane potential. The resting membrane
potential results from a separation of charges across the membrane. Additionally, at this state there is
no massive ion movement across the membrane.
Initially, the potassium concentration is larger inside of the cell than outside whereas the sodium
concentration is larger outside of the cell than inside. As a result, the aforementioned ions will travel
down their concentration gradient; potassium ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As a result, the K+/Na+ ATPase pump actively transports potassium into the cell and sodium out of
the cell in order to maintain the membrane potential of the cell. This process requires energy because
the pump goes against the concentration gradient of the ions. As a result, the potassium concentration
is higher inside of the cell than outside and the sodium concentration is higher outside of the cell than
inside. This causes a large net diffusion of potassium out of cell and only a small net diffusion of
sodium into the cell in order to establish equilibrium potential (Sherwood et al. 2013). More potassium
diffuses via the membrane than sodium because the membrane is 25X more permeable to potassium
than to sodium (Purves et al. 2001). The resting membrane potential value for a typical cell is 70
millivolts, which is closer to the equilibrium potential of potassium due to its high

Feminist Liberation Movement
I wonder why it took such an extended time for women to come up with a feminist spiritual movement
in the Church, since it seems like they have been oppressed for so long? Feminist spirituality is a
relatively new field that has grown out of the struggle of women for equality in both society and
Church (CTM p. 184). Feminist spirituality is an expression of a current theology that has originated
in Latin America that emphasizes the theme of liberation from oppression (CTM p. 255). Additionally,
I wonder if the Second Vatican Council had something to do with the upbringing of this movement? I
also wonder if the Civil Rights Movement during the 1960s, provided women with the fearlessness to
march for their rights in society and the Church? Feminist ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, these events had a great influence in shaping the Catholic feminist movement, and
ultimately turning it into a form of spirituality. According to the Mary Joanne Henold, from the
University of North Carolina Press, The Second Vatican Council (1962 65), an inspiring but overtly
sexist event that enraged and exhilarated Catholic women in equal measure, as a catalyst of the
movement within the church. (https://www.uncpress.org/book/9780807873533/catholic and feminist/)
In other words, it is evidently comprehensible that the Second Vatican Council pushed women to the
side, consequently establishing a movement. In addition, I think that women have the right to object
their rights within the Church, with the feminist movement, owing to the fact that they have been
defined in terms of their sexual, reproductive functions, values or personal possibilities which are
determined by biology (CTM p. 185). Ultimately, this makes women feel oppressed and alienated
from themselves, which I believe is

The reason the upper class settled in the Southern colonies was because of the large and very valuable
tracts of land available for farming. It was advantageous to settle in the south because of the perfect
climate for farming and growing cash crops. In 1607, King James 1 split the Atlantic seaboard into
two distinct areas. He gave the southern half to the London Company and the northern half to the
Plymouth Company. A total of 144 ships were sent by the London Company to settle. They established
the settlement called Jamestown. It was at first not an easy adventure. The settlers primary focus was
on finding gold. While they were so consumed with finding gold, they were not producing any exports
to bring money to them and often times barely had enough food for survival. Virginia began growing
tobacco. This proved to be a very profitable crop for them, but it was also their main source of income
and they relied heavily on it. Virginia had a lot of slaves, at first mostly white indentured servants who
helped in the tobacco fields. However, later Virginia became a true slave society with slaves from
Africa. White male landowners held most of the power. These white men controlled the government
and belonged to the Church of England. In 1775, Virginia ended up becoming a royal government,
meaning the colonial government was appointed by the crown. Religious tolerance took a while to
prosper in Virginia. There was a high influx of Anglicans in this colony and they were legally required
to attend church services in the beginning. Taxes were collected to support the church. On Sundays,
both business affairs and church series were conducted (B. Wolfe). Virginia s climate consisted of hot
and humid summers and moderate winters. The hot, humid climate made conditions optimal

Development Of Horn
First of all, I want to talk about the historical development of horn. In the past, horn was no valves.
The horn players in the classical period had to use their right hand to control every note. Mozart four
horn concerti were the famous pieces of the classical period. In the baroque era, horn means the horns
from animal, speciously from the goats. People in this period used the natural horn to hunting. The
natural horn was the ancient of the horn, usually the natural horn used in hunting. The natural horn
names the hunting horn, too. Before the classical period, the natural horn had to use the right hand and
the lips to control the notes and pitch. The hunting horn used for the nobles when they went to hunt.

This invention made the horn players play horn easily. The range for the horn was easier from the
lower range to the high range. Because the horn players can play horn without the right hand to

natural horn to play, such as lip trills, hand stopped, and rapid tonguing. However, Carl Maria
Friedrich Ernst von Weber still used the four natural horns to describe the forest in the overture of Der
Freischütz. At the act 3, he was keeping used the natural horns to be the hunting sounds. It means the
original horn was an important role for hunting. The horn is one of the hardest instruments because the
mouthpiece is small and horn body can be 12.1 foot. Horn developed many different kinds, normally
according to keys . Single horns used one key, the F key. Double horns used the F and the B flat keys.
Triple horns used the F, the B flat and the high F keys; the high F key lets players play high notes
more easily. Natural horns have no valves and Vienna horns use the piston valves. F key horn makes
sound warmer. In the other hand, the B flat key makes the sound

The Story Of Ephesians
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of
edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29 We took my dad home from a
three month hospital stay on a cold, snowy winter s morning and made him as comfortable as possible.
There was nothing more the doctors could do so we were determined to make his last days as special
as he was! On a Wednesday evening at around 4:30 pm he called me and asked me this question, Judy,
would you come over and cut my hair? I said, Sure dad, I ll be over tomorrow morning after I get the
boys off to school. He went on, No, I would like you to do it tonight. I thought why tonight of all
nights?? I had to get supper on the table, the boys ready for a Royal Ranger s Program, get new snow
tires on the car and get ready for church. Church started at 7:00 pm... so I only had two and a half
hours to get everything done. Dad, I can t do it tonight, I explained all the things I had going on and
told him I would be there first thing in the morning. However, that still wasn t good enough and once
again he said, I need you to cut my hair tonight. I thought for a moment and then said, Dad, where in
the world are you going that you need your hair cut tonight? Why can t it wait until morning? I heard
the let down in his voice as he said, Okay, we ll see. and we hung up. My dad died during that night.
Those were not the words I would have chosen to say if I had known they were to be my last words to
my dad!! All to often we say things without thinking or at times we say things we really don t mean.
WORDS are such an important and relevant part of our lives, still we often take them for granted and
aren t as careful with them as we should be! I don t know if my dad had a feeling something was up
and he needed his hair cut. I don t know if he knew he was going to die and meet his heavenly father
that night! What I do know is, we need to use our words in such a way that people know: We care
enough about them to encourage them onward in their endeavors. We realize the blessings we have in
our family, friends, acquaintances and all they truly mean to us! And, we need to let those we LOVE...

the Point? Quite frankly, this memo leaves much to be desired, given the weight of the situation. In its
entirety, it is a few brief paragraphs addressing the situation and a few questions that need to be
answered promptly. It is somewhat formal yet lacks the urgency in tone necessary to move the reader

These attachments aside, Hallman seems to have minimal concern for the efficiency of the actions

proper person for Dunn to contact with such vital information. For a decision such as this one, the
concerns should have been sent to another department, one with the authority, ability and experiential
knowledge to understand the gravity of the situation. Can one blame Hallman for not knowing? Could
it be that he was aware of the proper destination of such information and failed to

Essay on moral compass
In my past 18 years, I have been living in an environment that people telling me what should I do and
what should I not to do. My mum taught me to be a good role model for my younger sister, my dad
told me to study hard so I can have a good future. By going to school, teachers teach me that what is
right and wrong from the textbook and I have also been learning that from the TV, newspaper and
radio. The mass media is always a channel for me to receive what is right and wrong about the social.
For example, there are critics about the politics, environmental issues etc. From time to time, my moral

Now, I have to behave well in front of my sister. My moral compass tells me what to do as a good
sister and this always stop me from what I really want to do in my heart. It upsets me because role
model has become a burden for me to do something I really like. For example, I would like to learn
street dance but my mother rejected it with not to affect adversely on my sister. She thought that I
should put more effort on studying but not something which is not related to academic. In school, I am
the pianist of the school choir and I am responsible for the playing the piano part in different occasion.
When I was in form 1, I was told to be the pianist for the Speech Day and it really affected my life in
secondary school a lot. Since all the pianists playing in Speech Day were in Form 5 before, I became
the youngest pianist ever in my school. People questioned why I can stand on the stage because they
think I am not qualified for that. I would like to do my best every time on stage so that people would
agree with me and understand the effort that I have paid. As a result, I have tremendous pressure as
my moral compass tells me to perform well before going out to perform as there are a lot of people
looking at me and I would want to show them I am excellent player.

Why Was 1968 A Turning Point In The Vietnam War
Wesley Badger History 1968 is regarded by some historians as a turning point in the Vietnam war and
the beginning of the defeat for the US army. To a large extent this is a valid assessment of the defeat of
the US army in the war. This is largely due to the Tet offensive in 1968. However one can one can
argue that the US was already on course to lose the war before 1968. The Tet offensive of 1968 is
regarded as a major turning point in the Vietnam War and certainly shifted the momentum of the war
in favour of the Viet Cong. The Tet offensive was surprise attack launched by the Viet Cong and

A Comparison of the Naval Tactics and Outcomes of the Colonists in the American Revolution
Introduction
The American Revolution ended with triumphant colonists gaining independence and founding their
own nation. The Civil War ended with the Confederates failing, where the original colonists had
succeeded, and remaining part of the United States. Despite this, there are still many similarities
between the naval tactics used by the Confederates in the Civil War and by the colonists in the
American Revolutionary War. Both the colonists and the confederates found themselves with a serious
lack of naval capabilities at the start and end of the wars. This is why both used the tactic of Guerre De
Course, or War of the Chase . Although the Confederates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the duration of both wars neither the colonists nor the Confederates ever truly challenged the
superior navies they were fighting. What the colonists received that the Confederacy did not was
foreign aid from other European naval powers. The Confederacy did appeal to Great Britain, however
the British decided to stay out of the conflict entirely with the Queens proclamation of neutrality. This
was done at the request of the Union, and also because it would not damage trade relations with the
victors of the war. Great Britain, and the rest of Europe, had come to the decision that, The question of
what the future of the American Common Wealth, momentous as it might be for Europe, was an

Cancer
Cancer is defined as a disease cause by the uncontrolled division of abnormal cells inside a part of the
body. Mutations to specific genes or regions of DNA contribute to the presentation of these abnormal
cells as well as the ability for these cells to divide uncontrollably throughout the body. For many
years, the standard route of treatment for those who have been diagnosed with cancer is to use
chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Although these therapies have been considered to be the standard
of care for cancer treatment for many decades, the toxic side effects that are also associated with these
therapies can be just as devastating as the disease itself. The onset of targeted therapy for the treatment
of cancer has brought on a new ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Other formulations of TKIs include erlotinib (Tarceva), canertinib, vatalanib, dasatinib, and sorafenib
to name a few. This manuscript will be discussing Imatinib Mesylate in further detail and reviewing
many of the pharmacological and antitumor and anticancer properties of the drug in more detail. The
use and increased acceptance towards targeted cancer therapies is not without its imperfections. As
with any medication or therapy, not every individual is the same and the overall response rates may
change from person to person and from population to population. As more research is done, the
introduction of new inhibitors as well as the improvement of current inhibitors will help to increase
the overall response rate in patients as well as help to increase the ability for patients to receive even
more selective and specific care for their disease.
To gain a better understanding and overall appreciation for the creation and implementation of
targeted therapies, it is important to look at previous standards of care for the treatment of cancers and
tumors. Conventional chemotherapy, when directed in the direction of specific cells in the body, does
not do a very good job at being able to discriminate between normal, healthy dividing cells and
tumorigenic cells. This can lead to many different toxic side effects ranging from fatigue and anemia
to excessive vomiting, hair loss and in some

Shake Shack Case
Market research denotes a systematic and an objective collection as well as analysis of data regarding
a certain target market. This is inclusive of the level of competition and the environment. Market
research plays a significant role in gaining an increased understanding of the issue under scrutiny. The
importance of market research when implementing a new business strategy cannot be ignored. This is
particularly important if a business wants to establish new operating locations as a diversification
strategy. Therefore, it is important that when implementing the geographical expansion plan, Shake

factors such as the geographical location of the new operational area, population and target consumers.

A Romanticized View Of Their Ancestors
In southern fiction there are many characters to be found that possess heroic, or idealized, views of
their ancestors. These same characters are often times burdened by, or feel responsible for, the legacy
left behind by their families. The ancestor s beliefs are like ghost constantly haunting characters in
southern literature. Fennell aptly quotes Faulkner in her article writing:
No man is himself, he is the sum of his past. There is no such things really as was because the past is.
It is part of every man, every woman, and every moment. All of his or her ancestry, background, is all
a part of himself and herself at any moment. And so a man, a character in a story at any moment of
action is not just himself as he is then, he is all that made him. (Fennell 37)
It is seemingly impossible to separate the past from the present among characters in southern
literature. In this paper I will examine three characters and their romanticized view of their ancestors,
as well as their burden. I will be considering Gail Hightower and Joanna Burden in William Faulkner s
Light in August, and Cheyenne Cotterell in Tiya Miles The Cherokee Rose: A Novel of Gardens
Ghosts. All three of these characters idealize their ancestors while simultaneously feeling burdened as
a result of it.
In Faulkner s Light in August Gail Hightower, an outcast reverend, is heavily burdened by his father
and grandfather. He lives within the past and seems to have no care for the present or future.

the importance of listening to both parties in research into the family dynamics and processes

In the novel, We, by Yevgeny Zamyatin, the One State, a dystopian society, is controlled by a
totalitarian government called the State. The formation of the One State was caused after a 200 year
war between the city people who were progressive and had power, and the rural people, who were
uneducated, disenfranchised and exploited. At the end, only 0.2% of the population survived. Now, the
State functions by the new power to create a perfectly equal society with no problems by normalizing

Post Impressionism Art Analysis
The Impression of Post Impressionism Art
The Impressionism era was a very important movement in the history of art. The artists
under that movement were not very popular since the style was very different. The product of
Impressionism, Post Impressionism has a more distorted, expressive style because their rules in
terms of content were more free. I will compare and contrast the paintings of this era, Houses at
Auvers by Vincent van Gogh, Goldfish by Henri Matisse, and Mont Sainte Victoire by Paul
Cézanne.
The work of art Houses at Auvers by Vincent van Gogh was made after he left the
asylum at Saint Rémy de Provence. He admitted himself there because he was very sad and
before he arrived he cut off his ear and gave it to a prostitute as a gift. He only resided there for a
short amount of time (the end of 1888 1890) because he became bored. As a result, he moved to
Auvers sur Oise, northwest of Paris. There, he painted Houses at Auvers in June of 1890 which
was one of several works of art made before his suicide in the same year.
Houses at Auvers depicts a landscape of early summer in Auvers sur Oise. It s medium,
like most paintings in this era, is oil on canvas. In this work of art, viewers can see that the
function is for the visual aesthetic, since Van Gogh was really embracing his surroundings by
how he painted it. He used a lot of different values of color, especially the greens in the trees,
grass, and bushes. Lines and brushstrokes

Flash Animation
2D animation vs Flash Animation
The progression of time brings newer innovation, technology, and modern technique that makes living
a lot easier. Since the 1930s , animation has progressed from standard pencil and paper. Now, we have
technological innovations such as Flash animation. Such innovations make the production of
animation simpler and more affordable for that of the common man. Although all other methods of

As soon as an animator completes their work, the animator submits their work to the test camera
department to see how well it is in motion. Did you also know that an in between that hardly flows in
the process of the test camera? When this incorrection is prominent, the entire frame is thrown away
and revise the entire frame. Unlike the methods of 2D animation, flash animation is less stunning.
Flash Animation is the predecessor of 2D
Animation; Flash Animation is quicker and inexpensive. Besides flash animation being quicker,
updated, and cheaper, the production of flash animation is often sloppy and inaccurate to what is being
shown on the screen. For example,
Teen Titans Go! , is a TV Program made from Flash Animation. Teen Titans Go! is a terrible show.
Besides its lack of continuity to the original show, Teen Titans,
The animation plays a key role why this show is terrible. The movement is robotic and cheap; the
character design for each character is bland. After receiving criticism based solely on the animation
practices of the show, the animators make a jab about their choppy animation. What is depicted in the
scene of the jab is the dislocation of body parts that float toward the other side of the screen, away
from that character s body.
Adding on, 2D animation is better than Flash Animation for its usage of materials. Materials play a
key role in art. Material can range mediums such as paint, pen, Technology, etc. 2D

economía y a ellas mismas. Le generaría al país un mejor nivel y calidad de vida para de esta manera

Los subsidios son una cantidad de dinero establecida por el gobierno que se paga para que el país

Female Empowerment In Kesa
While female empowerment is crucial to being a feminist, female empowerment sometimes
undermines being a woman through word choice and subliminal messages. Female empowerment for
pop singer Kesha has been a constant throughout her songs, albeit sometimes raunchy or dirty like in
her early years. Those songs that are supposed to be empowering but are still sort of perverse show
how there is actually a hidden ideology about what it means to be an empowered woman. However,
that hidden ideology is often undercut but the initial interpretation or reading of the work. While
Kesha s female power anthem Woman highlights being independent of a man, it actually highlights
how women and their independence is undermined by continuously being compared to what men can
do and using standards brought about by the heteronormative categorization of woman.
From the beginning of Kesha s hit song, she exclaims that she is independent because she buys her
own things and pays her own bills. It certainly is empowering for women to be proud of earning their
money without any help, and it should be seen as a sign of independence. What is so great about her
first verse is that she actually accomplishes all of those things, so she has some credibility behind her
words. As great as that is, she is also implying that these are the things that make her an independent
woman, that these things define what it means to be an independent woman. Any feminist would
argue that being able to afford your

W. W. Jacobs wrote the short story The Monkey s Paw in 1902. A great number of adaptations of the
story have since been created using different forms of media. The two which are being compared here
are the play adaptation The Monkey s Paw dramatized by Mara Rockliff and the 2011 film version
The Monkey s Paw by Ricky Lewis Jr. Both the play and film feature the White family receiving a
monkey s paw by which three wishes may be granted. The paw had a spell put on it by a holy man

This setting does not convey the same feeling danger or foreshadowing of trouble to come. The viewer
may question in the play version why Morris would proceed with making wishes upon the paw after
stating that the first owner had wished for death. The information given through the film of Morris
seeking out the fakir in order to change his bad fortunes and being the person who requested a spell be
placed to grant wishes plants the seed for the viewer that Morris may have already been in a desperate
situation and therefore the viewer can more easily accept that he would wish upon it. As the plot in
both adaptations develop, Morris visit to the White s home is portrayed differently. The use of alcohol
in the film prior to Morris displaying the paw to the family could be interpreted as an action taken
only after his wits have been inhibited. The film uses flash backs to dramatize the power of the paw
when it is mentioned during the conversation with the White family. The potential harm that can be
caused by the paw is better expressed in the Lewis film version by Morris when he is asked why he
kept it he stated that, he kept it to guard it . He never allows any of the family to handle the paw and it
is not until Mr. White takes it away from him as he is attempting to throw it in the fire. At the end of

Futurism Essay
FUTURISM
Futurism (lat. Futurus = future) was a movement in literature, visual art, fashion, architecture, theatre,
music and film in the early 20th century, launched by Italian poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti.
Futurism appeared as a fervent denouncer of the past. Italian art represented the past Ancient,
Renaissance and Baroque art and culture. In the early 1900s, Italian artists and writers believed that
the Machine Age could have changed the situation and develop into a new awareness. F. Marinetti
called the new movement futurism to apprehend the idea of modernity, to glorify speed, technological
society, industrialism, dynamism, violence and youth.

While reading this book it takes you on a journey and you do not appreciate the destination until it is

Problem list: The problem list is kept in the front of the record and can be likened to a table of contents in a book. Another conceptual characteristic of the POR is problems are expressed at the level of the writer s understanding and do not include diagnostic impressions which are considered as part of the treatment plan. 3. Initial Plan: Development of a care plan The initial plan should be considered in 3 parts: I. Diagnostic (Dx) that is plans for collecting more information II. • 3. Courage Vs Moral Courage We find it easier, in these confused times, to admire physical bravery than moral courage the courage of the life of the mind, or of public figures. ( Salmon Rushdie, 2013 ) The question we all need to answer or ask is, do we or do we not? I strongly believe this is true, because we as people of these times don t want to hear about politicians, we like to hear and learn about people being brave, and saving others from harmful events that happens in everyday life. There are no Gandhis, no Lincolns anymore. One man s hero ( Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro) is another s villain. We no longer easily agree on what it means to be good, or principled, or brave. ( Salmon Rushdie, 2013 ) My three main reasons for believing this is true is Some Profiles of Courage by Shane Lopez , a video called Physical Courage v.s. Moral Courage 755 x 5 Squat , and my current event on Hurricane Harvey. From ancient to present times, this disposition to act appropriately in situations involving fear and confidence in the face of physical danger seems to be universally valued. ( Shane Lopez, P. 5 ) This is saying that when people show physical bravery they are valued worldwide by everyone who knows what they done. Shane Lopez tells us all the categories of courage, but physical courage/bravery is seen as more courageous than moral courage. People these days don t care about a politician standing up for his beliefs, but what we do want to hear about is a man in a cowboy hat that vaults ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Irony In The Lottery For The lottery would you believe that you put your name in a black box and your family gets picked and you get a black dot your gonna believe Oh My Lord Did I Win Anything . Nope, you re gonna get stoned to the face and to the body and your already dead to the point you even realize it. It is amazing to think about the irony in this story for years, these people have made a tradition out of this and the people are fine with it, Don t you think it could have gone another or different way. Like For example instead of getting stoned they could have just banished or send you away and never to be seen again but let me fill you in on the story so basically imagine this, There is a clear and sunny morning the flowers were blossoming and it was a ... • 5. Coors Business Strategy and Performance Strategies Adolph Coors company is a brewery with a long history. It was founded in 1873 and managed to make it through Prohibition by diversifying into near beer, malted milk, cement, and porcelain. Starting in 1958 the company brewed only one beer Coors Banquet . In 1978 when it introduced Coors Light, it only took 7 years for this light beer to become 40% of the company s revenue building brand and to become the second best selling light beer on the market. Strengths and Weakness Coors is focused on building its market brand and share through high quality inputs and high quality product. It wants to build revenue through a national expansion plan that includes two or three states a year. While Coors shows consistency in their desire for expansion and brand quality through core technologies, branding, internal developments, high quality ingredients that lead to high quality products, they do have some glaring inconsistencies. The natural fermentation makes it problematic to expand nationally as the beer spoils more easily and it needs to be kept refrigerated. A solution to this problem would be to pasteurize their products to protect against spoilage and to protect the freshness and shelf life of the products going out into the public. In several of the campaigns used by Coors they push the notion that only pure Rocky Mountain water is used in the brewing process and gives the beer its taste. However if they are to expand and open up another fermentation site they will ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Piracy In The Music Industry There are $12.5 billion in economic losses each year due to Piracy in the music industry. This shows how people are not taking piracy seriously and treating it not as a crime. Piracy is a crime and people should be able to use it against people in their cases. Based on the evidence in this article, companies involved in legal action should use emotionally charged language such as piracy to win their cases because if they seem to be copying an artist s piece without permission and selling it for free, it is piracy and piracy is a crime that they can use. The person who made their work must have spent a lot of time on it so they would be able to accuse it s as piracy if someone were to steal it. According to the article, People who work hard to produce creative works are entitled to enjoy legal protection to reap the benefits of their labors. And if others want to enjoy those creative works, it s reasonable to make them pay for the privilege. This proves that people generally want to be able to be proud of their work by putting a cost with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The text states, It would no longer matter whether the property misappropriated was tangible or intangible, real or personal, a good or a service. All of these things were now to be treated uniformly. This shows that the emotionally charged language should be used because it is appropriate for this matter that these things are truly being stolen. Piracy is an ongoing problem that many people do not take seriously. Just because something is intangible does not mean that it does not have any value. In conclusion, organizations should use emotionally charged language such as piracy because stealing these intangible things are counted as a crime so it is only fair to use ... We have examined different philosophers positions on abortion and debated the pros and cons of each article. For my argument, I defined abortion as the deliberate removal of a fetus from the mother s womb to result in the death of the fetus. My position on abortion was that it is morally permissible depending on if it s what the mother wants, the child s future wellbeing, and the circumstances of the pregnancy. After careful thought and consideration, I have changed some parts of my argument and kept others the same. Thompson claims that abortion is sometimes morally permissible in cases of self defense like rape, incest, and failed birth control. In Thomson s argument, she assumes that the fetus is a person from conception. She then tries to show that that abortion is morally permissible even though the fetus has a right to life. She uses the violinist analogy to show that having a right to life does not imply having the right to someone else s body. Thompson also uses the people seed analogy to show that abortion is morally permissible when pregnancy occurs while using a form of birth control. I agree with Thompson s view on abortion and found her examples to be very persuasive. At the beginning of the semester, I believed that abortions were the mother s decision and were always permissible if its what she wanted. After reading other philosophers works on the morality of abortion and debating it with my classmates, I have a changed my previous argument. I now believe that abortion is morally permissible in special cases like when contraception fails, if the mother or child s life is at risk, or pregnancy resulting from rape. • 15. Resting Membrane Potential Research Paper Hanan Yusuf BIO 350 002 In order to understand electrical signaling in biological membranes, we must know the basic properties of the resting membrane potential. Electrical signaling of biological membranes is required for effective cell to cell communication in our bodies (Watson et al. 2015). In order for the conduction of electrical signals along membranes to occur, cells must be excited. Before excitation occurs, the cell membrane is at rest; this state is known as resting membrane potential. The resting membrane potential results from a separation of charges across the membrane. Additionally, at this state there is no massive ion movement across the membrane. Initially, the potassium concentration is larger inside of the cell than outside whereas the sodium concentration is larger outside of the cell than inside. As a result, the aforementioned ions will travel down their concentration gradient; potassium ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As a result, the K+/Na+ ATPase pump actively transports potassium into the cell and sodium out of the cell in order to maintain the membrane potential of the cell. This process requires energy because the pump goes against the concentration gradient of the ions. As a result, the potassium concentration is higher inside of the cell than outside and the sodium concentration is higher outside of the cell than inside. This causes a large net diffusion of potassium out of cell and only a small net diffusion of sodium into the cell in order to establish equilibrium potential (Sherwood et al. 2013). More potassium diffuses via the membrane than sodium because the membrane is 25X more permeable to potassium than to sodium (Purves et al. 2001). The resting membrane potential value for a typical cell is 70 millivolts, which is closer to the equilibrium potential of potassium due to its high ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Feminist Liberation Movement I wonder why it took such an extended time for women to come up with a feminist spiritual movement in the Church, since it seems like they have been oppressed for so long? Feminist spirituality is a relatively new field that has grown out of the struggle of women for equality in both society and Church (CTM p. 184). Feminist spirituality is an expression of a current theology that has originated in Latin America that emphasizes the theme of liberation from oppression (CTM p. 255). The reason the upper class settled in the Southern colonies was because of the large and very valuable tracts of land available for farming. It was advantageous to settle in the south because of the perfect climate for farming and growing cash crops. In 1607, King James 1 split the Atlantic seaboard into two distinct areas. He gave the southern half to the London Company and the northern half to the Plymouth Company. A total of 144 ships were sent by the London Company to settle. They established the settlement called Jamestown. It was at first not an easy adventure. The settlers primary focus was on finding gold. While they were so consumed with finding gold, they were not producing any exports to bring money to them and often times barely had enough food for survival. Virginia began growing tobacco. This proved to be a very profitable crop for them, but it was also their main source of income and they relied heavily on it. Virginia had a lot of slaves, at first mostly white indentured servants who helped in the tobacco fields. However, later Virginia became a true slave society with slaves from Africa. White male landowners held most of the power. These white men controlled the government and belonged to the Church of England. • 27. A Romanticized View Of Their Ancestors In southern fiction there are many characters to be found that possess heroic, or idealized, views of their ancestors. These same characters are often times burdened by, or feel responsible for, the legacy left behind by their families. The ancestor s beliefs are like ghost constantly haunting characters in southern literature. Fennell aptly quotes Faulkner in her article writing: No man is himself, he is the sum of his past. There is no such things really as was because the past is. It is part of every man, every woman, and every moment. All of his or her ancestry, background, is all a part of himself and herself at any moment. And so a man, a character in a story at any moment of action is not just himself as he is then, he is all that made him. (Fennell 37) It is seemingly impossible to separate the past from the present among characters in southern literature. In this paper I will examine three characters and their romanticized view of their ancestors, as well as their burden. I will be considering Gail Hightower and Joanna Burden in William Faulkner s Light in August, and Cheyenne Cotterell in Tiya Miles The Cherokee Rose: A Novel of Gardens Ghosts. All three of these characters idealize their ancestors while simultaneously feeling burdened as a result of it. In Faulkner s Light in August Gail Hightower, an outcast reverend, is heavily burdened by his father and grandfather. He lives within the past and seems to have no care for the present or future. Children s Persuasion Maria Kümpel1, Bruns, Karen Christensen, Pia Haudrup Mikkelsen, Miguel Romer (2007) opined that family food decision making is often a combined activity, and children s dynamic participation, among other things, determines the influence they gain. Parents and children do not always have the similar opinion on how much influence children have in the different stages of the process, signifying the importance of listening to both parties in research into the family dynamics and processes concerned in everyday food buying. The formation of the One State was caused after a 200 year war between the city people who were progressive and had power, and the rural people, who were uneducated, disenfranchised and exploited. At the end, only 0.2% of the population survived. Now, the State functions by the new power to create a perfectly equal society with no problems by normalizing all citizens. • 30. Post Impressionism Art Analysis The Impression of Post Impressionism Art The Impressionism era was a very important movement in the history of art. The artists under that movement were not very popular since the style was very different. The product of Impressionism, Post Impressionism has a more distorted, expressive style because their rules in terms of content were more free. I will compare and contrast the paintings of this era, Houses at Auvers by Vincent van Gogh, Goldfish by Henri Matisse, and Mont Sainte Victoire by Paul Cézanne. The work of art Houses at Auvers by Vincent van Gogh was made after he left the asylum at Saint Rémy de Provence. He admitted himself there because he was very sad and before he arrived he cut off his ear and gave it to a prostitute as a gift. He only resided there for a short amount of time (the end of 1888 1890) because he became bored. As a result, he moved to Auvers sur Oise, northwest of Paris. There, he painted Houses at Auvers in June of 1890 which was one of several works of art made before his suicide in the same year. Houses at Auvers depicts a landscape of early summer in Auvers sur Oise. It s medium, like most paintings in this era, is oil on canvas. In this work of art, viewers can see that the function is for the visual aesthetic, since Van Gogh was really embracing his surroundings by how he painted it. He used a lot of different values of color, especially the greens in the trees, grass, and bushes. Lines and brushstrokes ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Since the 1930s , animation has progressed from standard pencil and paper. Now, we have technological innovations such as Flash animation. Such innovations make the production of animation simpler and more affordable for that of the common man. Although all other methods of animation give an animator/individual results for less the time and money that it would take Traditional animation. Did you also know that an in between that hardly flows in the process of the test camera? When this incorrection is prominent, the entire frame is thrown away and revise the entire frame. Unlike the methods of 2D animation, flash animation is less stunning. Flash Animation is the predecessor of 2D Animation; Flash Animation is quicker and inexpensive. Besides flash animation being quicker, updated, and cheaper, the production of flash animation is often sloppy and inaccurate to what is being shown on the screen. For example, Teen Titans Go! , is a TV Program made from Flash Animation. Teen Titans Go! is a terrible show. Besides its lack of continuity to the original show, Teen Titans, The animation plays a key role why this show is terrible. The movement is robotic and cheap; the character design for each character is bland. After receiving criticism based solely on the animation practices of the show, the animators make a jab about their choppy animation. What is depicted in the scene of the jab is the dislocation of body parts that float toward the other side of the screen, away from that character s body. Adding on, 2D animation is better than Flash Animation for its usage of materials. Materials play a key role in art. Material can range mediums such as paint, pen, Technology, etc. 2D ... • 33. Female Empowerment In Kesa While female empowerment is crucial to being a feminist, female empowerment sometimes undermines being a woman through word choice and subliminal messages. Female empowerment for pop singer Kesha has been a constant throughout her songs, albeit sometimes raunchy or dirty like in her early years. Those songs that are supposed to be empowering but are still sort of perverse show how there is actually a hidden ideology about what it means to be an empowered woman. However, that hidden ideology is often undercut but the initial interpretation or reading of the work. While Kesha s female power anthem Woman highlights being independent of a man, it actually highlights how women and their independence is undermined by continuously being compared to what men can do and using standards brought about by the heteronormative categorization of woman. From the beginning of Kesha s hit song, she exclaims that she is independent because she buys her own things and pays her own bills. It certainly is empowering for women to be proud of earning their money without any help, and it should be seen as a sign of independence. What is so great about her first verse is that she actually accomplishes all of those things, so she has some credibility behind her words. As great as that is, she is also implying that these are the things that make her an independent woman, that these things define what it means to be an independent woman. A great number of adaptations of the story have since been created using different forms of media. The two which are being compared here are the play adaptation The Monkey s Paw dramatized by Mara Rockliff and the 2011 film version The Monkey s Paw by Ricky Lewis Jr. Both the play and film feature the White family receiving a monkey s paw by which three wishes may be granted. The paw had a spell put on it by a holy man who wanted to show that fate rules people s lives and that if people try to interfere, they will be sorry. This setting does not convey the same feeling danger or foreshadowing of trouble to come. The viewer may question in the play version why Morris would proceed with making wishes upon the paw after stating that the first owner had wished for death. The information given through the film of Morris seeking out the fakir in order to change his bad fortunes and being the person who requested a spell be placed to grant wishes plants the seed for the viewer that Morris may have already been in a desperate situation and therefore the viewer can more easily accept that he would wish upon it. As the plot in both adaptations develop, Morris visit to the White s home is portrayed differently. The use of alcohol in the film prior to Morris displaying the paw to the family could be interpreted as an action taken only after his wits have been inhibited. The film uses flash backs to dramatize the power of the paw when it is mentioned during the conversation with the White family. The potential harm that can be caused by the paw is better expressed in the Lewis film version by Morris when he is asked why he kept it he stated that, he kept it to guard it .
