This document provides instructions for setting up a DHCP server on a Linux CentOS system. It outlines steps to check if the DHCP package is installed, install it from the CentOS disc if needed, create and configure the dhcpd.conf script file, and start, stop, and restart the DHCP service. It also includes an example dhcpd.conf configuration with an IP range, gateway, DNS, and domain settings for a DHCP server lab setup with a Linux server and Windows clients.

Langkah 2x :
1. Cek paket DHCP sudah terinstall apa belum di dalam PC
 #rpm -qa | grep dhcp
2. Install Paket DHCP dari cd CENTOS 5.5
 #rpm –ivh /media/Centos/dhcp
3. Buat Scripts dhcpd.conf di dalam direktory ./etc/
 ambil sanple script dari /usr/share/doc/dhcp/ dhcpd.conf.sample
4.  cp /usr/share/doc/dhpcd.conf.sample /etc/dhcpd.conf
5.  vi /etc/dhcpd.conf  configure dhcp server
4.  /etc/init.d /dhcpd start  start service
5.  /etc/init.d /dhcpd stop  stop service
6.  /etc/init.d /dhcpd restart  restart service
