Social development prioritizes human needs and improving society for all. It focuses on bettering lives, especially of the poor. Development involves learning values and skills to contribute positively. Different people may define development goals differently, and what helps some may harm others. A mix of economic and non-economic goals like security and learning are important. National development means ideas are accepted and benefits reach many people through fair means.
