• Solve a problem with your team,
and while doing it develop soft
skills
• Learn to apply design thinking
process to acquire information
about the problem and solution
space, understand the real
needs and desires of the users,
define problem worth solving,
ideate solutions, create a
prototype of solution and test it
with users
Following the Design thinking process a solution
is developed, presented and tested with experts
from HAMK Degree Programmes

Lean Service Design
• Lean service design is about
blending the business, user and
tech viewpoints with a holistic
process and toolkit for creating
digital services.
• After six years and hundreds of
lean service creation projects
later, it was realized that there is
a need to consider and plan for
the societal and environmental
impact from the very beginning
of the project.
