This document describes the design and manufacture of a jaggery plant prototype to increase production efficiency. The current traditional jaggery production process uses batch processing with furnaces for heating, requiring significant labor. The proposed prototype converts the process to continuous by replacing the system with a water tube boiler and other automated equipment. This allows for higher yields, reduced fuel usage, pollution and labor compared to traditional methods. The prototype was analyzed and suggestions were provided for industrial-scale applications, such as using centrifugal separation and PLC automation. In conclusion, the prototype achieved the goals of increased production rates and reduced costs compared to traditional jaggery production methods.
