Create & manage enterprise information systems to meet
defined business needs
 Manage both structured and unstructured information
 Define and manage information flow between the many information sources
used by the company
 Define information architecture for the enterprise
 Design appropriate centralized or distributed systems, as required by the
business
 Ensure fast and efficient access to organizational data to the user community
with high availability
 Provide appropriate information storage and lifecycle management
 Oversee the evaluation and define appropriate hardware, software and
