Delta Dental of California is a major American based Dental Insurance firm providing insurance
services to customers around USA. Delta Dental is a very prestigious client for TechMahindra as
they are the largest Insurance Company in USA and partnered in providing IP Data Model for
Dental Insurance around the world.
Delta Dental initiated a major IT project for the Enterprise wide BI solution. Delta Dental has 6
Major application sources at the moment and needed to build an Enterprise Data store called
Integrated Data Store implementing Party Party Model. Single handedly designed the Enterprise
3NF Model and Dimension Models.
3NF Model had 5 Major Subject areas Provider,Member, Group, Claim and Common Subject
Areas to be considered in the design with almost 120 Entities.
After the 3NF ER Modeling we designed data modeling for 2 Data Marts containing 12 common
dimensions, 22 Dimensions and 6 fact Models for 2 Subject Areas. These dimensional tables are
in turn used for creating nearly 600 BO reports and 6 KPI Dashboards.
I have been involved in gathering Business requirements, Analyzing Source Systems, Preparing
LDM, PDM,Data Dictionary, ETL Mapping Documents and generation of DDL. Also involved
in leading Client meetings and Guiding ETL team to implement their jobs.

a) Project Description
AACM ( Al Ain City Municipality) is a city municipality in UAE offering various services
to its citizen’s through its centers. AACM has around 58 IT applications to serve its
customers. The BIP (Business Integration Project) is about creating a Master Data for
common entities in AACM. This is project is a multi entity MDM using Data Quality tools.
Each Department has its own application and its own repositories storing customers and
related entity details causing duplicate and incomplete information scattered in AACM.
To resolve redundancy and incomplete information in AACM DB’s the BIP is introduced to
create a Golden record for main common data entities of AACM. ER Model was designed to
capture Master and transactional data in separate layers and SAP BODS tool was used to
extract data from Source to Target and Oracle EDQ was used to define business rules and
apply data Quality.
b) Contribution
Responsible for all deliverables from offshore

Group Safety is a prestigious project both in terms of its Technical Complexity and End Users
usability. This project directly impacts the analysis and decision making of Top level management
(CIO) of Qantas Airways Limited.
It enables users to access reports of various occurrences, findings and related actions for the
occurrences occurred. The reports are presented in the form of charts and List reports to measure
and analyze Occurrences, Findings of the occurrences, Actions and also Overdue Actions. The
reports also show Risk Index, trend, forecasting and planning efforts and decision- making. Users
are able to access the data by running business defined (standard) or ad hoc reports and also using
Drill through functionality in the charts.
Primary objective of this project is to capture all the Safety related occurrences,Findings of each
occurrence and Details of Actions related to each Occurrence,so that the Safety of Qantas Airways
is improved.
