Polyuria A condition of too much urine or excessive or abnormally large production and/or passage of urine.
 
Polyuria Also referred to as diuresis Most noted by frequent urination
Causes of Polyuria Though there are a number of conditions and circumstances that may be cause for polyuria, the most common are: Diuretic drugs Caffeine, and other diuretic foods Diabetes Excessive thirst and water intake
Polydipsia A medical symptom in which a patient displays excessive thirst.
Polydipsia cont. Occurs most commonly with poorly managed diabetes mellitus Can also be caused by psychogenic sensation of having a dry mouth
Glycosuria The presence of glucose in the urine.
Causes of Glycosuria Glycosuria can result from the ingestion of large amounts of carbohydrates It may be caused by endocrine or renal disorders.  It is a finding most routinely associated with diabetes mellitus
