The BrahMos cruise missile is a short-range supersonic cruise missile developed by an Indo-Russian joint venture. It has a range of 500-1000 km depending on configuration and travels at speeds of Mach 2.8-3, making it the fastest anti-ship cruise missile currently in operation. The BrahMos uses an inertial navigation system and terrain contour matching for guidance and has a diameter of 70 cm, wing span of 1.7m, and can carry a 300kg warhead with an accuracy of 1m.
