INTRODUCTION
 Compare to AC,DC voltage is highly efficient to
transfer. But it is difficult to step up DC voltages.
 To step up DC voltage Boost converter is use. We
design Boost Converter in small size.
 It is use full in large size by changing parameter of
Boost converter.

WORKING
Charging mode :
The switch is close and the inductor is charged by the
source through the switch.
The charging current is exponential in nature but for
simplicity is assumed to be linearly varying.
The diode restricts the flow of current from source to the
load.
WORKING
Discharging mode :
The switch is open and the diode is forward biased.
The inductor now discharges and together with the
source charges the capacitor and meets the load.

ADVANTAGES
1. Unidirectional output current.
2. Easy to analyze.
3. Easy to understand.
4. Only one switch.
5. High efficient.
6. Provide one polarity output.
DISADVANTAGES
1. Low amount of DC Step up.
2. Not suitable for High Power Converter.

1. Used In Hybrid Electric Vehicle.
2. Used In HVDC System.
3. Used For Power Factor Correction.
4. Used For Solar Power System.
