Methods Of Distribution Tier-2  supplier keeps inventory of raw material at the start of the production and an inventory of component at the end. Tier-1  supplier gets supply of components from tier-2 supplier, Original equipment manufacturer (oem)  gets sub-assembly from tier-1 supplier. Inventory is maintained (oem’s warehouse, distributor’s warehouse and retailer’s warehouse ) finally supply is made on demand.  All the stages are connected with internet, so informtion can transfer in seconds.
