Audience Survey
(Results Analysis)
By Andrew Thomas-Pemagbi
Results!!!!!!
• After putting out surveys on my social media accounts, I managed to get
enough feedback to use as primary research when searching my ideal
audience. I got 28 responses from people doing my survey from weblinks
and social media accounts and here is my results!
Question 1
• From this graph I can see that it is
a majority of female percentage
with is approximately having a
60/40 ration. However from this I
can see that both genders have an
interest in music videos.
Question 2
• I did get some ages over 24,
conversely, 18 to 24 is the main age
gap even though that’s the main age
group that my survey was focused
on. Especially because I put it on
my social media websites where the
vast majority of people is of my
age group.
Question 3
• As you can see in this graph I asked
about what genre of music they
liked best. It is clear to me that
Afrobeats and R&B was the most
favoured genres. Therefore this
gives me a good insight on what
genre of music would be most
significant to my target audience.
Question 4
• Runtown who is a famously known
afrobeat artist; turned out to be a
well liked artist amongst the people
who took my survey.
Question 5
• This question is perhaps one of the
most potent when finding out what
type of music video I’m making.
Knowing the emotions of what people
felt when listening to particularly music
videos would give me a great idea on
whether on want to make my music
video narrative or abstract. For
example, for a relaxed type of feelings
I may recreate a love story with a
happy ending.
Question 6
• Different music videos which are
most appealing to the people
surveyed. Runtown – Mad Over
You popped up a few times;
evident thatit is a popular song.
Question 7
• Here are the different reasons why
the audience liked these particular
songs. Again providing an insight
on how I want my audience to feel
when watching m music video.
