What is your gender? To start off my questionnaire my first question was asking the respondents if the were male or female. From the results of this question 10/20 respondents I asked were females and male. I asked the same amount of males then females as then my question wouldn't be seen as bias. I can therefore get a range of opinions.
Please select your age? As my target audience for the song I have chosen is between 16-25 I decided to give my questionnaire to respondents within this age bracket. From the results you can see that I have asked a wide range of people as 50% of people were aged 13-16 and 40% was between 17-20.
What type of genre are you most likely to listen to?  I decided to ask this question as I wanted to find out what type of genre most people like the most. I gave the categories of R&B, rock, indie, wrap and Hip-Pop. The majority of my respondents like the genre R&B ands wrap. This shows to me that these are the popular choices and are what most people are in to. However I also got a range of ticks from other genres of indie and rock. This suggests that there are many genres my respondents are into. To make get more accurate results I should have specified more genres.
What appeals to you most about this genre of music? Form this question the respondents answered beat with 70%. This shows that the majority of the respondents listen to music based on how it sounds. Only a small minority said instrumental.
Which of the following artist would you be likely to listen to based on the genre of the band and their style of music? This questions was a good question to ask as it could then find out similar artists my respondents like and compare them to Chris Brown. Most people chose Michael Buble and 50 cent. This shows that all age groups a familiar with these R&B artists.
Which music channel do you mostly watch? From this question the results show that more people watch MTV channels. As most these channels play R&B genres , it shows that most of our respondents like the R&B genre.
How do you consume music? From the results gathered  you can see that most people consume music  by free downloads. This shows that most people know consume their music over the internet rather then buying the CD.
How much do you spend on music each year? This again shows that most people consume their music online for free as 90% said they don't pay anything for their music.

I gave the categories of R&B, rock, indie, wrap and Hip-Pop. The majority of my respondents like the genre R&B ands wrap. This shows to me that these are the popular choices and are what most people are in to. However I also got a range of ticks from other genres of indie and rock. This suggests that there are many genres my respondents are into. To make get more accurate results I should have specified more genres.
  • 5. What appeals to you most about this genre of music? Form this question the respondents answered beat with 70%. This shows that the majority of the respondents listen to music based on how it sounds. Only a small minority said instrumental.
  • 6. Which of the following artist would you be likely to listen to based on the genre of the band and their style of music? This questions was a good question to ask as it could then find out similar artists my respondents like and compare them to Chris Brown. Most people chose Michael Buble and 50 cent. This shows that all age groups a familiar with these R&B artists.
  • 7. Which music channel do you mostly watch? From this question the results show that more people watch MTV channels. As most these channels play R&B genres , it shows that most of our respondents like the R&B genre.
  • 8. How do you consume music? From the results gathered you can see that most people consume music by free downloads. This shows that most people know consume their music over the internet rather then buying the CD.
  • 9. How much do you spend on music each year? This again shows that most people consume their music online for free as 90% said they don't pay anything for their music.
