FEEDBACK
I asked thesetwo questions as it enabled me to see
if the results would represent all types of people
and show I wasn’t being biased if I made
assumptions or hypothesis from the researchlater
on.
From this question I discovered
that people watched music
videos either once/twice a
week or once/twice a month.
As a majority of people do not
watch music videos every day
wewant to makeour one have
a big impact on the first watch,
as it is unlikelythat theywill
watch it again.
Thereforewewant to makethe
story veryclear and makethe
topic about women in sport as
prominent as possible so the
audience rememberit.
As the song ‘Strong’ (the one we are using) is
IndiePop inspired by Electro Rockwe wanted
to knowif anyof these genreswereof
interest to people and if they would actually
listen too it.
Luckilythe two genresselected the most
were Pop and Indieconfirmingthat ourgenre
of music would be popular and people would
want to watch it and enjoy the song –
hopefully theywill also find it memorable.
By askingthis question I have been able to get ideas of what to
includein ourmusic video and what may attract more viewers.
Theseanswers havebeen particularly helpful as
I now know what not to includein mymusic
video because it mayturncertain audience
members away.
Theseanswers haveenabled me to see
that people do likeIndiemusic (which
our songs derives from) confirmingthat
we’ve made a good choice of genreand
people will want to listen to it.
Seeing that people are morelikely to
stream our music video than download
it means that we will want to post it on
YouTube.
