Web

people assume that the Web is the same as the Internet, and
use the set reminder changeably. It is a collection of related

NETWORK:
• In a System A network consists of two or more computers that
are linked in order to share resources. ARPANET was the
network that became the basis for the internet. Based on
a concept First published in 1967, ARPHANET was developed
under the direction of the us advanced Research projects agency.

Internet
The internet is the global system of inter connected
computer networks that uses the internet protocol
suite(TCP/IP) to communicate between networks and
devices. Internet, a system architecture that has
revolutionized communications and methods of commerce
by allowing various computer networks around the world to
interconnect.

Email:
Electronic mail (e-mail) is a method of exchanging
messages (“mail”) between people using electronic
devices. It is the fasted media in the world . Email
entered limited use in the 1960s. is one of the most widely
used features of the Internet along with the web. It allows
you to send and receive messages to and from anyone with
an email address, anywhere in the world. The first e-mail
was sent by Ray Tomlinson in 1971. Tomlinson sent the e-
mail to himself as a test e-mail message, containing the
text "something like QWERTYUIOP." However, despite
sending the e-mail to himself, the e-mail message was still
transmitted through ARPANET

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is the
technology that
allows emails to be sent from one server to another
until they are delivered to your mailbox. In other
words, SMTP is an internet protocol that connects
machines and helps to transport your email. It’s your
virtual postman. SMTP is part of the application
layer of the TCP/IP protocol. Using a process called
“store and forward,” SMTP moves your email on and
across networks.

internet standard that extends the format of email messages
to support text in character sets
other than ASCII, as well as attachments of audio, video,
images and application Programs.

TELNET :
• A terminal emulation that enables a user to connect to a
remote host or device using a telnet client, usually
over port 23. For example, typing telnet hostname would
connect a user to a hostname named hostname. Telnet enables
a user to manage an account or device remotely. For example,
a user may telnet into a computer that hosts their website to
manage his or her files remotely. In the image is an example of
a telnet session. As shown, a telnet session is a command
line interface. Telnet, developed in 1969, is a protocol that
provides a command line interface for communication with a
remote device or server, sometimes employed for remote
management but also for initial device setup like network
hardware.

FILPS:
• It is a general term for a set of standards governing the
collection and use of personal data and addressing issues of
privacy and accuracy. Different organizations and countries
have their own terms for these concerns - the UK terms it
"Data Protection", the European Union calls it "Personal Data
Privacy," and the OECD has written Guidelines on the
Protection of Privacy and Trans border Flows of Personal Data
, which states these principles.

HTTP/HTTPS:
HTTPS is an extension of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol.
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTTP) is an application layer
protocol for transmitting hypermedia documents , such as
html.
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure
version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent
between your browser and the website that you are
connected to

Is the process of sending, transmitting, and
receiving information over a distance with the purpose of
communicating . It consists of portable two-way
communications devices, computing devices
and networking Mobile communications refers to a form of
communications which does not depend on a physical
connection between the sender and receiver and who may
move from one physical location to another during
communication technology that connects them.

• Blog is an online journal or informational website
displaying information in reverse chronological order
with the latest posts appearing first , at the top. In the
2010s, "multi-author blogs" (MABs) emerged, featuring
the writing of multiple authors and sometimes
professionally edited. MABs from newspapers, other
media outlets, universities, think tanks, advocacy groups,
and similar institutions account for an increasing quantity
of blog traffic.

that contains rules about how the browser should display
user view attributes on that page. Forms can incorporate
business logic and are often used to manipulate view data
before it is presented to the user.

, enhancing its capabilities. For example, if you wanted to
watch a video on a website, you may need a plugin to do
so.
